In a deserted residential district, a young man could be seen walking on a sidewalk. The young man's name was Subaru Natsuki, a rather popular 17 year old guitarist/vocalist in his area. He had an acoustic guitar slung over his shoulder proving he was a musician. He wore a zipped-up white tracksuit jacket with a stand up collar, deep-grey sleeves with an orange line running down their sides and orange cuffs, and deep-grey shoulders, a white shirt underneath the tracksuit, deep gray tracksuit pants, with an orange stripe running down the sides, the outfit was finished with black sneakers laced with vibrant orange laces. He donned a pair of black and red headphones, connecting to the mp3 player in his pocket.

I was having a shitty day, that was for sure. First, I woke up late causing me to miss my dad's famous breakfast sandwiches, Second my band had cancelled the gig today without telling me, Third my favourite manga author died. All in all, not a great day for [The Amazing Subaru Natsuki] I chuckled self deprecatingly, taking the mp3 out of my pocket and scrolling through the songs. After a while, I paused and selected [Dust In The Wind]. While it wasn't one of my favorite songs, it was one of the songs I had first learnt to play on the guitar.
Out of the corner of my eyes, I spotted a small convenience store. I am pretty hungry, but do I want to eat convenience store food for the 12th time this week? Yes the answer was of course yes. After all, there is nothing like some cheap ass food when you're hungry. I changed the route I was taking home to include the convenience store. I crossed the road and walked through the front doors of the store.
Inside the store, there were shelves full of different snacks and treats. I walked over to the chips section, grabbed a bag of chips, and went to the clerk to pay. I placed the chips on the counter and stuck my hand into my pocket and pulled out my wallet. I paid for the chips, muttered "Thank you." to the clerk before exiting the store and continuing my trek home.
As I walked home, I began to feel more and more drowsy. I yawned and stretched, closed my eyes blinking for a moment. Suddenly I heard a muffled and distorted "𝗜 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂" and in a fit if panic I opened my eyes.

"What the hell...?" Subaru, who was walking through the dark on his way home, was now in a crowded market street full of many people busily tending to their affairs. He stared in wonder at the people with animal-like appendages and the overall fantasy aspect of the world.
"Did I just get isekai'd?" Subaru asked a question, mostly to himself. Subaru looked around before coming to the conclusion, that he was not summoned in the traditional isekai manner and was instead grabbed from his world with no rhyme or reason. He came to this conclusion due to 3 facts. One he did not see any magic circles in his immediate area, two there was no grand welcome for his arrival, and three he was not currently in a dangerous situation. He didn't x out any of the other isekai options he just came to a logical conclusion due to the information he had at the time. He decided to walk along with the flow of the crowd for a while, to give him time to organize his thoughts.

I like to think of myself as a simple guy. I play music, watch anime, read manga, eat, sleep, and repeat. So why the hell did I get isekai'd? I can't think of a good reason. I was a relatively normal person, minus my local celebrity status. I was well-built, not too buff, not too thin. I think i'm smart, but I dropped out of high school to play in the band. The problem is, I can't rationalize my summoning at all. Which means it was completely random. Knowing that, I should go to a library to gather information on this new world.
As I walked through the crowd, I wondered if I would ever see my parents again. I hope so. For now, I just gotta keep moving forward, as a certain titan shifter would say.
I looked around and saw a relatively young man selling what seemed to be apples at his stand. I made my way through the crowds over to his shop and decided to ask him where the nearest library was.
"Hello sir, I'm new to this area do you know where the nearest library is?" I asked in a curious voice. I was really trying to sell my [Confused Tourist] look, thankfully it seemed to work.
The young? man laughed and responded kindly with "Sure follow the right side of the street and turn right at the statue of the old man and it should be the first building on your right."
I nodded, said thank you, put my headphones on, shuffled my playlist, and then I started walking on the right side of the road to my destination. [Carry On My Wayward son]
