1: Sentiment
As Kojiro processed the handwriting on the card, his world narrowed down to a single point.
Kaoru.
He had to get to him before the race started.
The car crawled along at snail's pace, and Kojiro's skin itched with frustration. He couldn't let Kaoru face down Adam alone. He needed to tell him-
What?
"Cherry!"
Kojiro gasped for breath, but after all his urgency, words suddenly failed him. What could he say that would get through to the man?
'Stay safe.'
'Don't trust him.'
"If you lose, I'll laugh at you, wimpy megane."
'Don't let him break your heart again.'
Author's Notes: This drabble was inspired by the high-key romantic sequence when Kojiro rushes to get to Kaoru before he begins the beef against Adam, and what I thought might have been going through his head. It's been a while since I did any of these, so I forgot how much of a challenge exactly 100 words can be xD
English dialogue in this was taken from the Crunchyroll sub (well, substituting "megane" for "four-eyes") although part of me is wondering if I should have used the dub... anyway, dub dialogue will be featured in future drabbles xD
