When it came to getting ready to leave for their trip, Christian started to get nervous. He knew what he was doing was going to be too much, but he didn't think that this would be considered work because he wouldn't actually be the one working. He hired the best construction company in Italy to oversee everything, they were just going to have Ana take a look at the property and make the changes she wanted to make the home into the home of her dreams. He wanted the best for his wife.
He was going to allow himself step aside from being the boss and let the contractors do their job, only stepping in when he had too. This meant a lot to him. Ana was going to be in charge. He trusted her to make decisions, he was going to let this be something that was all her and her ideas. He was just there to be supportive. He wanted to let go of some things and if stepping back was something that had to be done then that's what he'll do. He couldn't let his wife down.
"Is there anything you would like to add?" Ana turned towards Christian, but it was obvious that he was in his own world. "Christian?" Ana called his name while placing her hand on his arm to get his attention.
"Sorry, baby." Christian said has he zoned back into reality. "What were you saying?"
"Are you okay?" She asked.
Giving her a smile. "I'm fine, baby."
Ana wasn't quite sure, but she left it as it was. There was no point in questioning it. "I was asking if there was anything you wanted to add to the design." Ana asked him again now that he was aware of his surroundings.
Looking around at the space and at the drawings that Ana had her in hand, there wasn't much that he wanted to add. The changes that Ana wanted, along with what she wanted to keep was perfect. He wanted her to be happy. He was there for moral support. "Everything looks great."
"Really?" Ana asked.
"Really, this is your project. Whatever you come up with will be perfect." Christian told her. He wanted her to have her visions come to life.
Ana gave him a smile in which he returned. All he wanted was to see his wife happy. This house will be a place filled with love and happiness, all because of Ana.
