Christian and Ana had been in Italy for a couple weeks and the renovations have been going great. Ana was getting excited about seeing everything come together. She couldn't wait to see the finished product.

There wasn't that much to change to the actual layout of the house, but Ana wanted to make a couple of the rooms bigger and extend the kitchen. She wanted the house to be able to host family and friends, but Christian wanted this to be their own private getaway for when they needed to get away from reality.

Ana was talking to one of the workers, when Christian walked into the room. They were going over the details of what they were going to that day and making sure that everything was how Ana wanted it to be.

When she heard Christian come into the room, she turned towards and give him a big, Christian returned one back has he made his way to the makeshift kitchen they put together so they wouldn't be in the way of the workers. He needed his coffee.

As he was drinking his coffee, he took a look around at the work and he was impressed with how the house was looking. The renovations were going great, and it looked like they were ahead of schedule. Christian didn't think they would be this far along.

While he lost in his thoughts, Ana approached him and wrapped her arms around him. "Are you okay?" She asked looking up at him. The sound of her voice brought him back to reality.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He told her.

"The last couple months have been stressful with you being in the hospital and trying to figure out a new normal since you promised me that you would take it step back. I know not being to control the renovations is hard for you." Ana told him.

Christian sighed as he put down his coffee mug. "It's been challenging, but I know that being always in control wasn't good for me and with what happened, I've learnt that taking it easy isn't the worst thing in the world."

Ana was glad to hear that he was taking his health seriously. She didn't like to see him hurting himself.

"I want you to be around forever." She told him.

He smiled at his wife. "I'm not going anywhere. I'll always be yours."

Ana could tell that there was heartache in her husband's response. She knew what had happened was serious and that it wade heavily on Christian's mind. She knew that he needed time to think about everything, but she couldn't just sit back and watch the love of her life be so hard on himself. This house was supposed to be a new chapter in their lives, but she didn't think she could enjoy it when Christian was dealing with so much. She had to make sure that she took on more of a reasonability in their marriage to make Christian not be so stressed about being in control.

"You know you can talk to me about anything. You don't always have to be Mister Boss Man all the time." Ana tried to reassure him.

"I know, baby."

"I love you." She said with a smile.

"I love you more." Christian said as he went in to kiss her. "Forever and for always."
