6: Precision
Everything Kaoru does is with precision.
His calligraphy: every brush stroke confident, elegant and poised. His skateboarding: every variable accounted for, every angle calculated. His timings recorded down to the millisecond.
And CARLA: precisely programmed and there to ensure that his every action is planned, considered, optimal. Nothing left to chance.
Yet when Kaoru and Kojiro crash into each other one evening, it's messy, unplanned, spontaneous - and above all, imprecise. One minute they're in each other's faces; the next, Kojiro is gripping Kaoru's kimono as he explores Kaoru's mouth with his tongue, Kaoru's hand buried in his hair.
It's perfect.
Author's Notes: Look, I managed to write a drabble that's actually a drabble this time :D I know no-one is keeping score, but I feel like I should at least be trying to include some ideas that lend themselves to 100 words xD And I felt like this one would. I wanted to explore the contrast between Kaoru's perfectionism and precision and Kojiro's *gestures* everything xD I think there are a few directions you could go in with this concept so maybe I'll come back to it again in the future.
This drabble is the reason for the T rating on this work, since the others are all very K-rated xD
