"Peace was almost a foreign concept for the demigods, 2 consecutive wars had left most of them forgetting what it was truly like to be carefree without a threat hanging over their heads.

"But the dust was starting to settle, the Giant war had finally come to an end which would surely usher in a new golden age for the Gods and their children. This age was only able to happen as a result of the sacrifices by the demigods, countless laying down their lives to stop the Earth's mother from rising. Yet it was 1 singular demigod who took the burden of it all. Perseus Jackson. For all demigods and even some gods, a man who was the epitome of strength and hope, a symbol that if he was there fighting with them all they were bound to win.

"The war had been won by Percy himself, as the prophecy stated, "To storm or fire, the world must fall". With Percy managing to conjure a storm to rival Poseidon himself, Gaia's earthen form was torn apart by the storm, before felling the goddess with one final blow sending her back into her slumber. Some demigods claimed that Percy whilst in this final battle had started glowing, the air rippling around him like reality itself rejected his presence.

"As customary for Olympus, a rewards ceremony was held shortly after winning the war to reward its fighters for the sacrifices they had made. The throne room was filled with various minor gods, demigods, Satyrs, nymphs and various spirits to witness what the heroes would be given. Especially the infamous 7 heroes, or what was left of these 7, but one, in particular, held the attention of every being even the Olympians themselves were awaiting how Percy Jackson would accept their planned reward. The demigod in question was not celebrating as everyone else was, deciding to take a seat at the hearth gazing into the fire.

"As the awards ceremony started Zeus started to award various people for their accolades, as the tension started to build. As the last of the awards were given, Zeus commanded the remaining members of the 7 to stand before the Olympians.

"Percy, Jason, Hazel, Frank and Nico stood before the 12 major gods, as the crowd look on to possibly the most important heroes of the age. The first awards bestowed were simple enough, Hazel and Frank both being blessed with immortality. The pair graciously accepted the offer before stepping back into the crowd, the Gods then moved on to Nico and Jason. With both being granted godhood and offered a place at their respective parent's side as lieutenant, they both accepted the 3 fates that appeared within the throne room to assign domains to the newly appointed gods.

"As Nico and Jason walked back to the crowd, the former stopped at the side of Percy. Looking at the demigod who he had admired, respected and adored since he was 11, he leaned over to the son of Poseidon and murmured words into his ear. Too subtle for the crowd who were straining their ears to hear, before walking back into the crowd./span/p
"The tension in their air was palatable, as everyone looked on to what would happen to the final remaining demigod. Before Zeus could announce his name, Percy walked over to the hearth and whispered something into the ear of Hestia. Silence fell upon the chattering crowd as a vigorous mental conversation seemed to happen between the Eldest Olympian and the King of the Gods. As the two relented, Zeus finally stood up before banishing the whole crowd from the throne room leaving the 12 Olympians and Perseus Jackson alone. As the crowd dissipated outside the throne room back to their respective homes, many of the elder demigods stayed outside the doors waiting for the results. Hours passed by and many were fearful of what could have happened to the hero left alone, the goddess of the hearth Hestia opened the doors of the throne room to greet the awaiting demigods, telling them the meeting had come to a close refusing to elaborate and she strode past them into Olympus.

"The remaining demigods peered into the throne room and saw no sign of Percy anywhere, just Zeus fervently speaking to Hera looking rather red-faced, as they looked around, they saw the addition of two new thrones. One throne is an Onyx black and another a simple wood design, but no sign of any god sitting on those thrones. Poseidon and the rest of the Olympians are nowhere to be seen.

"Nothing further was ever spoken about by the Gods on what happened that day. Any time the remaining 7 members were questioned they stayed tight-lipped. With Percy never returning to camp after that day, many assumed that the demigod had simply joined the ranks of the gods. Rumours spread from Percy being banished to Tartarus, becoming a God or even being sent off to fight a hidden enemy. But the camps eventually settled on him being a newly appointed God, and they treated him as such. All demigods new and old made sacrifices to Percy Jackson, hoping he would bless them to live up to the legacy he had left behind.
