"Percy found himself standing in what seemed to be a living room, the small yet cosy room was filled with books on the walls with a few couches in the middle of the room angled towards a fireplace which was burning softly. Sat on one of the sofas was a blonde man, his eyes swirling with a mixture of black and white it almost looked like the stars themselves were within them. The man gestured towards the opposing couch and offered Percy to sit.

"Who are you and where the fuck am I" The demigod bluntly said to the man who looked perturbed his arm never waving before replying,
"Sit Mr Jackson and I will answer the many questions I am sure you have." Percy bored his eyes into the man who was unrelenting before striding across the room to sit, he sat on the sofa which he found surprisingly comfortable before looking at the man again who simply smiled before continuing " To answer your first couple questions Mr Jackson my name is Phanes and you are in my house so to speak, a dream for you but a reality for me " The man now announced as Phanes explained as Percy racked his brains trying to think of what he was the God of but coming up with nothing

"Why am I here?" Percy asked, Phanes chuckled before replying

"Why not?" the demigod glared at the god who decided to continue with a smile on his face " Your situation intrigues me young demigod so a decision to speak with you just to gain more understanding in a way. You have created quite the legacy for yourself from my understanding" Phanes continued, as Percy huffed as the god mentioned legacy from his conversations with some of his old friends a new camp had been made with a big statue of himself in the middle which was sacred to the new camp. Before picking up on something God had said,

" What do you mean by my situation?" Percy asked as the god who had continued smiling reached down towards a glass next to him taking a sip from it before answering,

" I cannot answer unfortunately and it is not the right time for you to know, " Phanes said his gaze never breaking from the demigod's eyes, the reply was almost exactly what Percy thought it would be yet he let himself become angry at the response before getting up from the sofa snapping back at the god

"You Gods you're all the same with your riddles and half-truths I'm sick to death of it, YOU are the one who brought me here and you can't even talk to me about it what's the point then" as he glared at the god who despite the enraged son of Poseidon in front of him laughed softly,

" Young demigod, I am not one of the gods that you have dealt with your entire life I supposed a proper introduction is in order. I am Phanes Protogenos of Procreation and New Life, Father of light, The first-born God and the first ruler of the Universe. " Phanes replied as Percy started to calm down realising the gravity of the situation was not just any god this was quite literally one of the first Gods in existence, he steadied his breathing before speaking back to one of the first deities

" Then why do you want to speak to me I'm sure you probably know everything about everything," he asked as the god simply raised an eyebrow at the demigod's response,

" The rumours of your treatment of Gods do live up to expectations I would have expected most to be bowing at my feet begging for forgiveness. As for why, If you had taken the time to look out the window you would see we are in the Void," Percy glanced to the window noticing they were in a black expanse with the house sitting seeming on nothing, in the distance, he could see what looked to be an egg cracked open as the God continued, " Life can get very boring for Gods Perseus, When you have lived for as many aeons as me you tend to find things to occupy yourself, as you may know, many Primordial simply slumber to pass the time, millennia are mere blinks of an eye for some of us, I just wished to humour myself and discover the magic behind the demigod who has changed much of our world" Phanes explained to the demigod, the explanation surprised him but the demigod stayed wary as he knew the older the god normally means more manipulation and some sort of hidden motive which normally included a painful death.

"The god laughed slightly as Percy was thinking to himself

"No ulterior motives Perseus, All I wish is that you tell me your life story I want to hear it from you, not from the whispers I hear in the void" The primordial spoke interrupting the demigods' thoughts, his eyes widening slightly before berating himself, of course, he could read his mind, he looked inquisitively at the god before replying

"No hidden motive you just want me to tell you about my life?" He asked the god who simply nodded,

"Fine I will do it but only if you call me Percy" as he slowly sat back down into a comfortable position on the sofa. The primordial smile widened as he took another sip from his glass before continuing, " Brilliant Percy I'm glad you are willing to do so it would have been rather boring for me otherwise here, in return I will in turn explain my story as no doubt it is not the most taught subject. " Phanes grinned, before looking towards the top of the fireplace at something which resembled a clock but had no such numbers Percy was familiar with, Phanes lost his smile slightly but turned back towards the demigod

"Unfortunately, Percy we are out of time, but I will seldom visit again to get the tale of you" speaking with a small edge to his voice as Percy looked to the clock trying to decipher what it says,

"Uhhh yeah, of course, I guess I'll see you in my dreams? Until next time Phanes." The primordial grinned at the demigod before waving his hand causing Percy to find himself back in his cabin daylight breaking through the curtains. Confused about what had just happened but he was slightly peeved as to how gods continued to interfere in his life without his permission, yet he knew someone as old and powerful as Phanes was not to be taken lightly. He would have to up his training if something was to happen. He made a promise to Annabeth he would be strong no matter what, and he intended to keep that promise.

Olympus

"The Olympians slowly flashed into the throne room, each showing a different level of dissatisfaction with being summoned to their throne. All looked rather disinterested as a singular goddess stood in the centre of the throne room. The final few gods started to flash in and settle onto their thrones before a bolt of lightning struck the centre throne, Zeus appearing exactly where it had struck. This caused many gods to roll their eyes at the king's actions as they went back to their own devices, Hermes talking to George and Martha arranging various deliveries he needed to do, and Hephaestus tinkering with various bits and pieces as his wife was correcting her makeup in a small mirror, she had summoned next to her before Zeus addressed the goddess in the centre

"Daughter why have you summoned us here today, some of us were um-busy." Zeus coughed at the end as Hera glared at the king who no doubt was out further tarnishing their marriage, Artemis looked around the throne room before replying to her father,

"Unfortunately, father I bring bad news, I and my hunters have discovered a rise in monster activities, they are getting more and more restless with ancient monsters starting to appear. I fear something is coming " The goddess said solemnly, as this piqued the attention of the Olympians, Zeus looked perturbed by the new information.

"What ancient monsters do you speak of Artemis" Athena interjected before Zeus could respond, the huntress grimaced before responding
" So far, we have battled the Stymphalian birds and sighted several hydrae including the Learnaern Hydra. Normally I would be happy for my hunters to battle these monsters but due to the sheer numbers, I have lost too many of my sisters we need to regroup" Artemis said quietly, most gods knew of her pride which matched Zeus himself. Her admitting she was unable to continue a hunt would have been a blow to that said pride. The king pondered this for a moment before concluding " We send a group of Demigods from camp to investigate and help defeat these monsters, a quest potentially" as he nodded to himself with his genius. Before Athena questioned Zeus' logic

" But my lord the new generation of demigods have never had to fight anything close to this level of month, they would be slaughtered" She replied stony-faced, the cogs in her brain spinning and devising plans. Zeus looks wounded as his daughter poked an obvious hole in his plan as the rest of the gods slowly started getting distracted and going back to their old habits.

"There is one demigod who could solve our problems" Aphrodite suddenly spoke, shocking the rest of the gods. It was rare enough she listened let alone spoke, as they all pondered thinking of which demigod she could think of. Before any other gods could speak the mountain trembled, confusing many of the Gods before they looked at Poseidon, his eyes glowing with power as he glowered at Aphrodite.

"No. We will not involve him. We PROMISED HIM" the god of the sea roared at the love goddess. As his tone increased his eyes took a dangerous hue of green, the unmatched rage of the seas flowing within him. Hestia stood up from her throne approaching her brother before whispering in his ear, the aura she exuded created a layer of calmness around the surrounding gods. Poseidon's eyes dimmed as he continued to glare at the love goddess yet with much less malice than previously. Athena cleared her throat bringing attention to herself

" Regardless we are all oath-bound to not do that his wording was very strict in that regard," she said pensively, although she had a rivalry with Poseidon himself Perseus was a much different story. Whilst she had initially been disgusted by her daughter's relationship with sea spawn, she had grown to begrudgingly respect him and his accomplishments. After the Giant war with Annabeth being lost, Athena couldn't bring herself to be angry at him. The demigod had single-handedly dragged Olympus to victory and yet stayed as humble yet sarcastic as ever despite all the challenges he faced. Zeus broke her train of thought by questioning her directly
"What if we issued a quest to retrieve Perseus, that would bypass any oath and it should not be too challenging," he asked Athena, who quickly thought about it, as she did, she could see Poseidon's eyes lock on to hers daring her to speak

"Well, daughter we do not have all day" Zeus spoke harshly to the goddess of Wisdom who turned to her father,

"Yes, that would exempt us from the oath," she said quietly as she looked back at the sea god who had not moved a muscle. Zeus grinned as he clapped his hands together
"We shall issue a quest for the retrieval of Perseus to defeat the monsters" he announced to the throne room but much to his dismay many of the Olympians looked far from pleased with the decision, many looked to Poseidon for his reaction. His stillness unnerved many of his siblings who knew the bounds of his rage, Zeus seemed oblivious as he looked around the room before looking at his brother.

Poseidon still sat as a statue as he glared at his younger brother, his eyes taking a dangerous hue as the air became thicker with precipitation. Suddenly more gods became aware of the animosity Poseidon was displaying. "You will regret this brother; you're breaking your oath. Neither I nor my son will forgive this." He growled harshly to his brother as Zeus summoned his master bolt in anticipation of the god's next move, before anything further happened, he disappeared in a fine sea mist, the tension in the air dropping dramatically following this.

"Hades who had been watching from his throne shook his head "This will not end well Zeus you know Percy is not to be trifled with" as he looked toward his brother, as he said this Zeus face contorted with anger

"HE IS BUT A DEMIGOD HADES, I COULD DESTROY HIM WITH BUT A THOUGHT" Zeus roared, spittle spraying from his mouth. Hades snarled toward his brother, the shadows in the throne room thickening before quietly replying to his brother

"And that thinking dearest brother is what will be your downfall, your pride blinds you beyond belief" tutting as he spoke, almost looking toward his brother in disappointment before flashing away from Olympus. The rest of the Olympians let the scene unfold in front of them, not daring to interfere in the fight between the big 3. As the two elder brothers flashed away Zeus sat back down on his throne almost brimming with rage

"COUNCIL DISMISSED." He screamed at the remaining council members who quickly took heed of this flashing out as quickly as they could. Zeus remained on this throne stewing in his anger, he knew what he was doing could hold repercussions Percy was the strongest demigod ever seen and revered more than any hero in history and despite the demigod's sarcasm and lack of respect, Zeus had respected what Percy had done for them all. But his pride could not allow him to back down, he was a loyal soldier to Olympus he would do his duty the sky god repeated to himself reassuring him the choice was the only route to take. Before taking a deep breath, going back down to what he had been doing previously in the mortal world.
