"Hmm… interesting…" Frankly mused. "Aha! I see what's going on here."
"You do?" Luigi asked.
"Yes! That light show we just saw on Mario is very intriguing." He said. "But this map has radar-like functions! It shows us the location of the Crystal Star!"
"It truly is an impressive mechanism..." Levi rub his chin. "Back during the light show, I was able to sense powerful magic was gathering in one location... like a vortex. When Mario steps into that pedestal with the magical map, it activated a mechanism that gathers the magical energy throughout the land, directed it into the map before releasing the magic and spread it back to the land, and scans the locations within the map. That's how the Crystal Star is located. That's an impressive mechanism... whoever designed it was a genius."
"Wow! I had no idea you were a mage Levi." Goombella said.
"It's been a while since I met a mage. And I believe how you explain how it works makes sense too." Frankly nodded
"But... isn't Mana and magical energy the same?"
"Well yes and no. Mana explicitly deals with magic and refers to it as a force within everything. Magical energy is more or less arcane in nature." Levi explained.
"In any case, according to this map, the first Crystal Star seems to be in a place called Petal Meadows." Frankly said.
"Petal Meadows?" Altina asked.
"Yes To tell you the truth... I've always thought that place was a tad suspicious. The name Petal Meadows did came up from time to time in my research."
"Really? Hmm... It would appear there are some connections going on." Levi rub his chin. "So how can we get to Petal Meadows?"
"There's a pipe in the sewers that will take you there. I don't know where it is exactly, but it should be there." Frankly explained before giving it back to Mario. "By the way… How did you managed to get the map anyway?"
"It was sent to us by Peach." Mario answered.
"Peach? You mean Princess Peach? She wouldn't happen to be wearing a pink dress with blonde hair, would she?"
"That'd be her." Mario nodded.
"AHA! SO IT WAS HER!" He yelled. "I saw her just the other day in fact! She came to me to learn more about the treasure. I told her about the Crystals Stars and my suspicions about Petal Meadows. I assume she went to go looking for the Crystal Star in Petal Meadows, so she could be already there."
"Speaking of that… there were these creeps that were also looking for these Crystal Stars." Goombella explained.
"Hmm… well, I doubt Peach would be affiliated with them… I suppose you will have to be on the look out for Peach while you are in Petal Meadows."
"Sounds like a plan. Let's a go." Mario nodded
"You're not coming Professor?" Goombella asked.
"No, I'll stay here in town and ask around about Princess Peach and those "creeps" you mention. Plus I'm an old Goomba like me couldn't keep up with you youngsters. Feel free to come see me if you need any advise." Frankly said.
"Thanks, we will. All right, let's move out." Rean nodded as they all nodded and walked out of the door and straight into Rogueport Sewers.

They soon came out of the warp pipe and then the others got out normally this time around as they started walking around.
"Oh, look over there." Rean pointed as the passageway. "I think the Warp Pipe could be in that passageway on that upper ledge."
"That does seem a possibility." Levi nodded.
"I can easily get across." Luigi said as he ran over to the ledge and jumped up, but he was just a little short and fell...right on top of a spiked Goomba. "YOOOOOW!" He yelled as he jumped up and landed near the group, hopping on one foot.
"Ouch...rough landing." Goombella said.
"I gotcha." Levi said as he cast healing magic on Luigi's foot.
"Thanks..." Luigi sighed
"So how do we get across?" Goombella asked.
"Well, me and Levi could use our pokemon." Rean suggest. "Or Levi's magic."
"Well I have two flying pokemons. Flygon and Altaria. And considering the people we have, I think it should be enough." Levi said as he pull out two pokeballs. "Altaria, Flygon!" He throw them in the air and came out his two said Pokemon. "Can you two help us get across that upper ledge?"
Both Pokemon nodded.
"Okay, I'll ride on Flygon." Rean said.
"Same." Levi nodded
"I'll take Claiolmh Solais." Altina said as her Combat Shell appeared and hop on.
"Guess we'll ride on Altaria." Mario look at Luigi and nodded.
"I'll probably ride with you guys." Goombella said to Rean and Levi as the group got on Levi's Pokemon's back with the appropriate weight and then begin to take off and then laned on the upper ledge.
"Okay, we're here." Levi said as they all got up. "Thanks you guys, I'll call on you again later." Levi smiled and return his Pokemon to their Pokeball. Then they went into the next area.
"I see a warp pipe over there!" Mario pointed.
"But uh...there's no platforms." Luigi stated the obvious.
"Huh? What's this?" Goombella asked. "It looks so slimy."
"I'll get rid of it." Luigi said, hammering the tentacle.
"BLOOP! BLOOOOOOOOP!" The tentacle went back into the water.
"Problem solved." Luigi smiled… and then a humongous Blooper came out of the water. "AAAAH!"

"Bloop Bloop!" (What kind of person smacks a hammer on their foot?! That's uncalled for!) "Bloop Blooooooop!" (I'll make some examples out of you!)
"I didn't think he'd be angry!" Luigi exclaimed
"I think anyone would be angry if you hammer someone or something... I don't know foot, hand or in this guy's case, tentacles!" Levi said as he, Altina and Rean got their weapons out.
"Here it comes!" Rean exclaimed.
Pissed off large Squid - Big Blooper
The Blooper attempted to attack them with its tentacles, but they quickly dodged as Mario and Luigi form a combat link and threw fireballs at the tentacles.
Rean and Levi combat link each other then Rean charge and Levi cast Orbal Arts to support.
Goombella, meanwhile, used her Tattle Log as she was sitting and then looked over the Blooper. "Eww... I cannot BELIEVE I'm looking something up so huge and slimy! Ugh! Ah, here it is! It has twelve HP, an attack power of 1 and a defense of zero! It can attack with ink along with its tentacles."
The Blooper swipe his tentacles towards everyone as they dodge and Levi cast Luminous Ray as Rean jump and swing his Tachi down onto the Blooper's head, knocking it down a few, Altina use her Maser Arm Craft as she use Claiomh Solais to let out spinning slash attack on the Blooper. The Blooper attempted to slam down it's tentacle on Luigi and Levi as they dodge. Luigi jump, brought out his hammer and then hammer his head while Mario let out a fireball punch on Blooper's face. Giving Goombella a Headbunk attack on Blooper's head.
The Blooper then launch his tentacles and grab Altina.
"Altina!" Goombella exclaimed.
"Claiomh Solais!" Altina yelled and Claiomh Solais appeared and let out a powerful arm swing down on it's head, letting go of Altina and picking her up.
"Burn to ash..." Rean stance himself as a fire dragon appeared over his glowing red Tachi and then slam down on the Blooper and Levi follow up with a slash.

"Bloop… BLOOOOOP!" The Blooper yelled and shot straight up in the air, as a few platforms rose from the water.
"Well, that happened." Goombella said.
"I'll say." Rean said. "I wasn't expecting to launch itself into the air."
"How... strange through. Still. At least we can get across." Levi nodded as they jumped across the platforms before reaching the pipe and they jumped in.

"Woow. Look at this place!" Luigi said as they hopped on out.
"It's certainly beautiful. Don't you think Altina?" Levi asked as he smile.
Altina paused for a moment as she look around. "It does."
"Alright, let's go find that Crystal Star!" Rean exclaimed as they nodded where they walked forward… but not a few steps later, they heard a loud roar.

(Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door ost - A Dragon in the Sky)
"Wh-what was that?!" Luigi exclaimed. "Mario, please tell me that was your stomach!"
"Um, no...I ate before we left." Mario said where they heard another roar.
"I think it's because of that!" Levi shouted and pointed upward as they saw a humongous dragon fly above them.
"What in the… whoa, look at that!" Goombella exclaimed as they saw the red dragon flying straight to a castle before it vanished inside the castle.
"Ooookay, I'm heading home. See ya." Luigi said as he turned around, but Mario grabbed a hold of his arm. "Sigh… one of these days…"
"Whoa… that was an actual dragon! Incredible!" Goombella exclaimed.
"A Dragon..." Rean said in awe before he close his eyes. "This is the first time we seen an actual dragon before... Well... alive, that it."
"You mean that undead dragon you guys talk about before?" Levi asked
"Yep." Rean nodded before he see ahead was a village. "Look, there's a village. We should go and see if anyone's okay."
"Yeah, let's-a-go!" Mario exclaimed as everyone nodded

(Resuming Petal Meadows)
And so, they took off, but Rean, Altina and Levi noticed some strange statue-like things in the middle of the area, as they made a mental note to check that out for later while they caught up with the others where Altina look at the ? block.
"Huh?" Altina blicked. "Is that block floating in the air?"
"Oh right, this is your first time visiting the Mushroom Kingdom before." Rean said. "As you can see, this is a ? block. It contains items that can be useful in journeys like this."
"I've read about this in the report. How curious." Altina said as she had Claiomh Solaris hit a red ? block, and out came the Close Call badge. "What's this?" She wondered.
"That's the Close Call badge! If you wear it, there's a 33% chance that your enemies will miss their attacks when you're on low health." Goombella said.
"Interesting..." Altina tilt her head as she equipped it as they walked through the grassy area and then Levi jumped into a warp pipe where he noticed a Happy Heart on top of a brick block as he jump towards the block to retrieve it, and then he jumped down where the others were waiting.
"Does this badge look familiar?" Levi asked.
"The Happy Heart badge. It restores health in a slow rate, though it's a 1 in 3 chance of doing so." Goombella explained.
"Sounds like a gamble Crow would do so I'll see for myself." Levi said, equipping it.
"Hey! Intruders!" A Goomba exclaimed as he, a Paragoomba and a Spiked Goomba came running to them, to which they rolled their eyes and they readied themselves and defeated them.
They walked further where they noticed a large river in front of them, and then Rean noticed a Warp Pipe behind some bushes.
"Hey guys, over here!" Rean said, catching their attention as they hopped on in while completely ignoring the Goomba. "Wait… are we in the background now?" He asked as they were on the mountains.
"Well, this is a shock. This is something you don't see every day." Levi said as they walked over to the switch on top of the hill, and when they hit it, they saw a bridge forming by several pages being flipped before finally finishing.
"If only building bridges were that easy…" Mario said as they hopped on out, and then got ambushed by a few Goomba, but they were defeated.
Then they crossed the bridge, then they walked straight into town.

(Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door ost - Petalburg)
"Wow, this is a nice town." Rean said as a Koopa walked over to them.
"Hiya Travelers!, welcome to Petalberg. It's been awhile since we have visitors. We're kind of remote." The Koopa said.
"I can see why. It look truly peaceful." Mario said.
"Well, it's peaceful for now. Not until Hooktail came along."
"Hooktail? You mean that dragon we saw earlier?" Goombelia asked
"And it didn't even notice you?! Wow, you guys are lucky!" The Koopa exclaimed.
"Has Hooktail been causing trouble?" Levi asked
"Oh yeah... the town hasn't been the same since a few of our residents went to fight that thing and never came back. That thing's a threat to our society!"
"That's horrible!" Rean exclaimed.
"Yeah... it's only a matter of time before Hooktail decides to pay attention to this village for it's meal." The Koopa sighed. "So what brings you all here anyway? You're not here to stay are you?"
"No, we're on a quest. But some of us have different agendas. But right now, we're looking for something called a Crystal Star. Do you know something about it?"
"Crystal Star? Can't say I have. The mayor might know something. But he's pretty old. Really old. So he knows a bunch of stuff we don't. Koopa his age are... let's just say intelligent."
"You're making it sound like you guys are not clever at all." Levi sweatdrop. "Still, I have a feeling we're going to face that dragon earlier."
"Yeah, I know what you mean. Plus it would be a bonus to protect this village as well." Rean nodded.
"You're gonna challenge Hooktail? Good luck with that. And if you are gonna, I'm gonna pray to the Mushroom Gods to you all."
"Thanks." Levi smiled.
"It's the least I can do for your safety. Anyway, the mayor lives in a big pink house. Can't miss it." The Koopa said.
"Thanks!" Mario said and walked off where they walked around town, where Levi noticed a young Toad was playing on the Switch.
"Hey, what'ya playin'?" Levi asked.
"The newest Fire Emblem game! Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes. The protagonist's guy name Shez is super awesome! He's cool!"
"Hehehe, I can imagine." Levi chuckled 'Oh yeah, the switch video game system Master and Crazy Hand are making profit. I'm gonna buy myself a switch and play some video games.' He thought.
"Levi, you coming?" Rean called out.
"Oh shoot! Coming!" Levi exclaimed as he catch up to the others. 'Remind me to get the others to play the switch.' Levi thought as Altina noticed a certain white Bob-omb minding his own business as they kept walking,
On the way, they spotted a familiar samurai admiring the town.
"Wait, is that." Levi blicked.
"Kazuha, is that you?" Rean called out as Kazuha turn.
"Well, this is a lovely surprise." Kazuha smiled. "Mario, Luigi, Rean, and Levi. It's been some time since we last saw each other. You two certainly grown taller... and even mature."
"We certainly have. Only a few more months until I graduate." Rean smiled
"I see. I wish you luck." Kazuha smiled before noticing Altina and Goombella. "And who are these two?"
"This is Altina, she's my partner on a mission. And this is Goombella, she's traveling with us a quest."
"Hello!" Goombella invisible wave.
"Hello." Altina greeted.
"Hehe. A pleasure to meet you both."
"I'm sure we're surprised to see you Kazuha, what brings you here?" Levi asked.
"Oh, the usual thing, Traveling. I came to this region of the Mushroom Kingdom by boat instead of horseback. But my horse is by the nearby tree in case I'm planning to wander off again. But while I was breathing in the fresh and sweet air, I heard some loud roar, and the air changed into a foul smell."
"Something foul?" Altina raise an eyebrow.
"Oh, that must have been Hooktail." Levi said.
"Hooktail? Oh yes, I heard there's a dragon that has been terrorizing this region. That would explain it." Kazuha rub his chin.
"Oh, I got an idea. Kazuha, why not join us on our adventure?" Rean suggest. "We're looking for the Crystal Star."
"A Crystal Star?" Kazuha asked.
"Yeah, and that dragon we were talking about might have it, considering there is a chance we will face it."
"What made you think that?
"Well... call it experience and a hunch." Levi said. "After all the adventure so far and clues to this point..."
"I see... In that case, I'll happily come along." Kazuha smiled.
"Great! Glad to have you." Rean smiled. "Oh yeah, there's more to it." Rean said and then he explain it to him.
"I see... Interesting." Kazuha rub his chin. "Princess Peach invited you on a treasure hunt but nowhere to be found. Well I can certainly tell you that she's not here. Otherwise, I might have smelled her perfume."
"True that." The four of them nodded.
"Well, let's head to the Mayor's house and talk to him about the Crystal Star." Luigi said. "His house is the pink house right?"
"You mean that one other there?" Kazuha turn to the pink house nearby.
"That's the one." Mario said.
"Why would they make a house pink?" Altina asked with a deadpan look.
"No idea." Everyone shrug as they went inside and found an old Koopa, Mayor Kroop, in the room.
"Hmm? Huh? Whuzzat? Who's there? Are you thieves? Here to rob a defenseless old Koopa? No! Don't take my shell! …Actually, fine, take the shell and leave my half-naked body to rot!"
"Whoa whoa whoa, we're not thieves!" Mario told him.
"You're not? You kids these days need to learn how to speak up!"
"We didn't even say anything yet..." Levi sweatdrop.
"So, what can I do for you?" Mayor Kroop asked
"Do you know anything about the Crystal Stars?" Mario asked.
"Hmm… Crystal Stars? Hooktail's got what you're looking for… But if you value your lives I suggest you don't go there."
"So Hooktail does have it. Yeah, I call it." Levi said.
"Well, even so, I'm afraid we need the Crystal Star. And if we need to defeat Hooktail, then so be it." Rean said.
"Well... if that's what you want, then I won't stop you." Mayor Kroop sighed. "But if you do managed to get rid of Hooktail then the whole town is in your debt! But in order to get there, you'd have to go to Shhwonk Fortress."
"Shhwonk Fortress?" Altina and Levi mouthed.
"That's… um… quite a name." Mario said.
"Yes indeed, you'd have to get two certain items in Shhwonk Fortress, not to mention get past the beast that lies in there. Ah, I'm sure you'll be fine… now uh… what were your names again?" He asked as he got their names. "Eh? Murphy, Louie, Swim, Scion, Trina, Goombrianna, and Katoba?"
"Swim?" Rean sweatdrop.
"How on Aidio's name did you get my name with Scion?" Levi sweatdrop.
"My name is not Trina." Altina said with a deadpan look.
"That's not even close to my name!" Goombella exclaimed.
"Katoba?" Kazuha raise an eyebrow.
Luigi sighed. "It's Luigi."
"How'd you get… Murphy?" Mario asked, completely confused.
"Such nice names, rolls off the tongue easily. Anyway, I'm going to let you on through." Kroop said. "Have fun and stay safe!" He requested as they walked out.
"I think I understand why that Koopa we met earlier was talking about... intelligence." Levi sweatdrop.
"Well, when you go get older, you will go through changes." Kazuha said as they walked to the gate where a young Koopa spotted them and seemed to follow them.
"Beyond this point is Shhwonk Fortress, which is home to a monster. No one is allowed beyond this point." A Koopa said.
"We got permission from Mayor Kroop." Rean said.
"Eh? He did? Well… in that case, don't die out there." He said.
"Alright, let's go!" Levi grinned.
"Uh… excuse me…" A voice said as they turned to see the young Koopa, who looked to have a blue hoodie and a bandage over his nostril. "Um… listen… my name's Koops and… I heard you guys are going to Hooktail's castle and… um… uh… oh… never mind! Just forget it!" He exclaimed and ran off.
"…What was that all about?" Luigi wondered.
"Uh, no clue." Goombella said. "Though, I do recommend we go stock up on some items, just to be on the safe side." She said as they nodded and ran off to the item shop.
"Welcome to the item shop!" The Shopkeeper greeted. "What can I get for ya?"
"Oh? Is that an Orbal synergize?" Levi asked
"Sure is. We begin to rely on some Orbal energy these days since it's safe and renewable."
"Hmm… oooh, these look good." Mario said, grabbing two POW Blocks.
"These Maple Syrups will come in handy." Luigi said, grabbing three.
"Alright, That'll be 22 coins!" He said as they paid for the items and walked away. "Please come again!" He waved while they walked straight for Shhwonk Fortress.

On their way, they found Kazuha's horse eating grass.
"We should take my horse with me... But I can't leave her alone if we go somewhere where she can't go through." Kazuha said.
"Oh! I got an idea!" Levi said as he forward his arm. "Dimensional Home!" Then a gray magic circle appeared next with a glowing light portal. "You can place our horse there."
"Dimensional Home?" Rean asked. "What kind of spell is that?"
"Oh, it's an advanced type of Spacial Magic that can allows living things like horses to be stored safely. It has oxygen they can breathe just fine."
"Levi, I'm curious about you even more about magic like these."
"Well, you can thank my powers for that. Because of that, I was attuned to the elements of nature and spells have been planted into my memories." Levi said.
"I see. There is air in there." Kazuha said as he already took his horse inside. "That was a nice place you chosen, Levi."
"Thanks!" He said as they journey through, they spotted Goombas, Koopa, Spiny Goomba and Paragoomba who got in their way and then take them out. Soon they soon got to the first part of Shhwonk Fortress, where it house two Clefts on a pedestal.
"There's a gate but it's lock to us." Kazuha said.
"Hmm..." Rean look around and see the Clefts. "I wonder..." He said as he touch the statue, then all of a sudden, the whole place shook.
"What in the...?!" Levi exclaimed.
"Guys, look!" Mario pointed as the Bald Clefts started moving and hopped off of the pillars.
"I thought so." Reans aid as everyone prepare for battle.
"No need." Altina said as she step approached, then she summoned Claiomh Solais as the Bald Clefts charge towards her. Then Claiomh Solais raise its arm and then slam down on the Bold Clefts utterly destroying the two Bald Clefts. "There." She said as the gate opened.
"Or we can let Altina deal with them." Rean said as they nodded.
They continue to going through the same thing with the enemy blocking their way before arriving at the next ruins. This time, Bristles are guarding them. Luigi touch it, the whole place shook, then the Brisles start moving and charge towards them before Altina's Claiomh Solais blade arm swung its arm and launch them. Then crush them with it's arms, once they were utterly destroyed, the gate opened and then they continue onward, going through the same routine before finally reaching the final area of Shhwonk Fortress, where they find a strange Thwomp statue in the middle of the room.
"That's peculiar…" Mario mused.
"And suspicious." Altina said as they walked over and touched the Thwomp.
"Hmm? Who dares to come into Shhwonk Fortress?" The Thwomp asked. "Oh… visitors! It's been a while since my last contestants… If you're here, you must be wanting the stone keys. And if you want it, you'll need to compete against me!"
"Compete? You mean a competition?" Rean asked
"That's right. If you win, I'll let you through to where the Stone Keys are. And if you lose, you're suffering a terrible fate!"
"Cliche." Levi whisper as everyone nodded.
"All right, let's get started!" He exclaimed as everyone was suddenly teleported to a game show of sorts.

"Whoa! Where'd we go? Why are we in a game show?" Luigi asked.
"Welcome Ladies and germs! Welcome to the 65th Annual Super Fun Quirk Quiz! Perk up those ears! If you answer five questions right You'll win, but if you get three questions wrong, you're doomed! Mwahahahaha! And I will be selecting the individual who will be representing the team! … The platinum hair pretty boy!"
"Pretty boy?" Kazuha titled his head.
"I think he means you." Altina said.
"I think everyone is attractive." Kazuha said as he step forward.
"Question is the Isshin Art in Zemuria? Is it bladesmithing? B: Swordsmanship C: Marksmanship? or D: Lancemanship?"
"The Isshin Art... I haven't heard that in awhile..." Kazuha rub his chin. "The Isshin Art was one of the five schools for eastern bladesmithing practices in Zemuria."
"GUUUGH! Correct..." The Thwomp muttered.
"Oh, I heard of the Isshin Art. Master Yun Ka-fai's personal sword was forged by the Isshin Art." Rean amused. "I wonder if my sword is..."
"All right, question two: What was the shocking truth Class VII learn after the Infernal Castle? A: Learning Rean's father, B: Rufus is an Ironblood, C: The Vermillion Apocalypse is no more? Or D: All of the above?"
"That's... gonna be tough to answer..." Kazuha muttered while Rean and Levi look shocked.
"How did you-"
"Hmm... I'm gonna go with... All of the Above?" Kazuha asked, interrupting Rean.
"Doouh! Correct! Maybe that question was too easy for you..." The Thwomp muttered. "Okay, Question three... Which Secret society did Emma belong too? A: Crois Family B: Hexen Clan. C: Gnomes: Or D: Ouroboros?"
"Come again? Secret society? I think... Gnomes?"
"HAAAAHAHAHA! WRONG!"
"Wrong?" Kazuha asked.
"The answer is Hexen Clan! Emma belongs to a clan of witches who watches over Zemuria and the Divine Knights. Their duty is to guide the potential awakeners and erase memories about the Divine Knights since ancient time."
"Wait, how did you know about that?" Levi asked.

"Eight Leave One Blade School." Kazuha answered.
"Grrrrrr... Correct... Three right... one wrong... Question five: Which nations have the most problems in this world? A: Remnant, B:Erebonia: C: Calvard or D All of the above?"
"This one is a bit tricky because I don't know much about the problem... But... Remnant?" Kazuha asked
"BUZZZZ! WRONG! hahaha! The question is all of the above! Remnant has a lot of problems along with Erebonia, Calvard, and even Fodlan too!" The Thwomp said.
"Erebonia and Calvard I understand... I guess I should look into the others if I have the time." Kazuha sighed.
"Three right and two wrong... Hahaha! Okay, Question Six: Who are the two people Rean has a close and common with? is it A: Alisa and Elliot? B: Gaius and Jusis, C:Mario and Luigi, or D: Crow and Levi?"
"That's..." Kazuha paused as he think for a moment.

"Crow and Levi." Kazuha answered

"GUUUUUUUH! Correct! You win..." The Thwomp muttered as Everyone was transported back to the area. "Curses...I guess I have no choice. Here, go into this warp pipe!" The Thwomp said, moving back as the Warp Pipe emerged in front of him. "HMPH!"
"What's his problem? Goombella asked
"Not so sure." Mario said.
"That reminds me, Rean, How is your Spirit Unification?" Levi asked.
"It's..." Rean paused.
"Oh no, what's wrong?" Levi asked.
"I was hoping you wouldn't ask or notice... But I can't control it."
"You can't?" Mario asked
"What happened?" Luigi asked.
"What do you mean? Wait… did it grow stronger? What happened? Wait... This has something to do in North Ambria, doesn't it?" Levi asked.
"Well… Instructor Sara knows about it, so maybe it's time I let you guys know, too." Rean said.

Rean then begin to explain what happen in North Ambria after the battle in Crossbell was finished. It's about the Northern Jaegers responsibility for destroying Celdic during the Civil war. Of course, it was Duke Albarea's fault to begin with. When that happen, North Ambria completely rejected the Imperial Government's demands for compensation. Then the war broke out against the Northern Jaegers and the swarm of Giant Archaisms that was brought out of nowhere thanks to Ouroboros. Instead of the Imperial Army, the Government send a state-of-the-art- Panzer Soldat division, led by General Aurelia and Brigadier General Wallace. And the reason is to wipe out the terrorist group, the Northern Jaegers who has taken over the entire state. Rean and Altina evacuate the people from the capital—Haliask where they work with Sara and the RMP led by Claire for the citizens to escape from the fight. But those giants Archaisms went on a rampage and the evacuating citizens started to get attacked by them. And Rean called Valimar and use his Spirit Unification to release his full power. As he defeated the final archaism. He lost consciousness. But his Ogre power kept going. He was in his weakened state. Three days he woke up, and the whole autonomous state has been completely occupied. Forcing Rean to watch North Ambria was annexed by the Empire.
"Rean... I'm sorry you had to go through that." Mario scratch his hair while looking sad.
"Rean…" Levi said, looking mad at him. He walk to him and then hit him on the head. "Why the hell didn't you tell me sooner?! Obviously, no doubt this is you that you want to carry that burden because of that scum chancellor. But for you to suffer like this… You could have told us, come to us, come to me. You know my power is the complete opposite of yours. Mine can help suppress that power. You don't have to use your own strength. And… even if you do… You could have come to me. Where I could have helped you grow strong enough to control it. Like back when."
"I know Levi. But there are some things I have to do alone. I know you want to help me and I'm really grateful to it. But I don't want you to get involve with the chancellor's whims." Rean stated.
"Oh brother, Rean…"
"You're rather selfless Rean." Kazuha said. "However, I don't think any of us want you to suffer because of that power of yours. If you ask me, maybe you should considering letting Levi create some sort of item that can help suppress it."
"Oh good idea Kazuha!" Levi smiled. "If I can create a pendant or something like that, It can surpass the Ogre power you almost lost control over!"
"You really think you can create something like that?" Rean asked
"Of course! I just need time to create it. I'm not craftmans but I'll see what I can do!"
"Why not just use your powers into him?" Luigi asked
"Ooh! Good idea Luigi! I can do that instead!" Levi nodded and turn to Rean. "Shall I give you a small portion of it to allow you to use Spirit Unification without losing control over it?"
"That would be great... If that works... Well... guess I'll owe you an apology." Rean chuckled as Levi channel his power in the palm of his hand. He create an orb of light and then place it on Rean's chest as he glow, then fade.
"How do you feel?" Levi asked
"Hmm... I feel the same. Let's try it out once we find a good opportunity." Rean said and they all nodded as they went into Shhwonk Fortress.
And now the upcoming battle against a dragon draws near! Same for Rean to allow him to use Spirit Unification.
