[A year later]

That's how long it's been since Kris' daughter, Kyla was born. A lot of things had happened in the past year. Everyone were still having the ordinary lives they always had.

[At the Kagura mansion]

Shin, Chizuru, Azalea, Kyo, Shiki, Rin, and Sam were in the living room. Chizuru, Sam, and Shin had called all of them to their mansion so they could discuss important matter with all of them.

Shin worea black racer jacket, black shirt, a pair of blue jeans, black shoes, a long black belt that hangs out from the side of his hip like a tail, and a pair of black fingerless padded gloves. He also wore a white headband around his head to compliment his attire.

Azalea wore navy blue vest with an icy blue trim, a black long sleeve button shirt underneath, a pleated skirt with frills at the edge, black mid-length socks and black shorts boots.

Rin wore a short black coat, a large thinly white crescent moon crest marked on the back that represents the Yasakani clan, a shorter white shirt underneath with her midriff exposed, exposing her toned abs, red pants, a large black belt with a gold buckle, a smaller black belt that hangs loose on the side of her hip, tan shoes with black buckles, a black choker, and a black necklace.

Shiki wore a black racer jacket with the Kusanagi crest marked on the back, white shirt, a pair of dark green jeans, brown shoes, and a long brown belt that hangs out from the side of her hip like a tail. She wore a pair of her uniquely designed black fingerless gloves, though only the single stripe at her hand area are visible, while the Kusanagi crests are hidden in her sleeves.

Sam wore a green and emerald leather jacket with white trimmings and a curved pinstripe marked at the back, a green shirt with a white racing stripe, a pair of two-toned leather gloves with a emerald green side on the front of his hand and a green side on the back, green jeans, white belt, white shoes, and a chained small tasseled flag hanging behind.

Chizuru wore her priestess outfit.

Kyo wore his KOF for girls outfit.

Kyo: So why did you and your siblings call us here, Kagura?

Chizuru: It's about the Orochi.

Kyo: What about it?

Chizuru: The seal has been weakening for the past three years.

Kyo: Let the Orochi awaken, we can easily defeat him this time. The only person we should be afraid of is Saiki.

Shin: You're right, but we should look after the seal. The creations of Gaia are too dangerous.

Shiki: So what are we gonna do about this situation?

Shin: Shiki, you call Rosa. I want you, her, Azalea, and Leone to go to Europe. Ash may know the hideout of those from the past.

Shiki/Azalea: Right.

The two of them got out of the mansion to go meet up with their best friends so they can all go to Europe to ask Ash something.

Sam: What about me?

Shin: You stay here, you can train if you want. I'm going to train in the forest. Kyo, go home, the hakkeshu are still after the Kushinada, you must protect Yuki with all of your life.

Kyo: You're right.

Shin: Chiz, you stay with Samantha here.

Chizuru: I'll do so.

Rin: What about me?

Shin: Just go home and train very hard.

Rin:...

Then all of them did the things they were asked to do.

[3 days later]

Rin was walking on the streets of South Town. Every male she passed was looking at her with lust since she had the biggest bust on Earth and that disgusted her. She looked at everyone with her demonic eyes, scaring them. Rin didn't show any emotions as usual.

Rin: (Erin, can I ask you something?)

Erin: (You can ask me anything you want honey)

Rin: (What kind of powers do you have?)

Erin: (I can use black flames and I can manipulate time very easily. I can stop time, travel in the past or the future, and do all tons of stuff.)

Rin: (Can I use your powers.)

Erin: (Yes, since you are a part of me, you can use my powers. I'll train you how to use my powers.)

Rin: (That will be great, tell my Orochi form that I said hello. You too are the only people who can understand me, friends.)

Erin: (If you want anything from me or Orochi Rin, you can ask us.)

Rin: (Farewell friend.)

Erin: (Farewell to you too, the crimson demon.)

Rin smiled and continued walking away, she was always lonely at home since all her siblings had went on their journey.

???: RIN!

Rin turned around and saw Rose and Rosie running towards her. The two sisters were smiling at Rin, who gave them a small smile she could muster.

Rose wore a white denim vest and white skirt with white tights, a white belt, white boots, and a white short sleeve undershirt.

Rosie wore an emerald green denim jacket and emerald green skirt with an emerald green short sleeve undershirt, green leggings, green belt and emerald green boots.

Rin: Hello Rose and Rosie, what are you guys doing here?

Rose: Am I not allowed to see my girlfriend.

Rin: No.

Rosie: [Cheerful] Hola Ms Rin, I missed you very much.

Rin: I missed you too Rosie.

Rose: She really likes you and Shiki a lot.

Rin: The two of are very strong and Rosie admires girls that are too strong.

Rosie: Yes, you're the powerful woman I know.

Rose: Rosie wanted to come to you so you can teach her how to use the Homurahotogi.

Rosie cheered as she heard Rin agree, she was very happy. Rin was about to tell Rosa the basics but an envelope fell in front of them. Rin picked up the envelope, ripped off the seal and took out an invitation.

Rin: The King of Fighters 2003 begins. As usual, matches are 3-on-3... But this time, you can look forward to some new rules. We welcome all oncomers!

Rin looked at Rose and Rosie, who were looking at her too.

Rin: I guess joining this tournament is better than being home doing nothing but training. Do you guys want to join my team this year.

Rose: You don't need to ask, I'll join you.

Rosie: I want to have fun you guys. I'll be joining the two of you.

Rin: Good, we are the Rin Team, I'll be the team leader of this team.

Rose: What should we do till then.

Rin: There's a move I've been trying to master. Let's go train together, I can also teach Rosie the Homurahotogi.

Rosie: Right.

The three of them went towards the forest to train. The three of them were very powerful, but they wanted to get a lot stronger since they didn't know when a threat powerful than them would appear.
