"Oh, so this is what the inside of a tree looks like." Levi mused as they went inside.
"You certainly don't see that everyday." Rean said.
"Huh… that's strange. Usually it's more lively in here." Punio said. "Hello! Anyone in here? Hellooooooo!"
"Hold on." Levi draw his Glaive out. "Something isn't right here."
Rean drew his Tachi "Yeah. Didn't you say the X-Nauts are here too?" he asked, and right on cue, a door opened further in the room and two X-Nauts walked out and spotted them.

"Hey, wait a second…" One of them said as they ran over to get a good look at them. "Ah! How did you guys get in here?!"
"Hey wait a minute! It's those guys that the boss mentioned! You know, the one who has the map and looking for the Crystal Stars!"
"Oh crap, you're right! Oh great, looks like more just join in!"
"Oh wonderful... Well in that case, we'll just have to beat them up!"
"Wait what? Dude, Lord Crump said that we oughta report back to him should we see these guys running around remember?"
"You dumbass, use your head! We report to Lord Crump AFTER we beat the snot out of them. That way, we can lock them up, take the map, the Crystal Star they have, and we'll get the other Crystal Stars without any trouble! And the bonus is we take that Black Puppet the girl controls!"
"Oh dude, you're right! Good idea!"
"We're good, right? In that case… break!" The X-Naut said and they charged straight at the group.

(Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door ost - Tutorial Battle)
Altina summon Claiomh Solais who the wipe the X-Nauts while Aether swing his sword a couple of times, join with Kazuha who warm to them, let out a flurry of slashes and reappear in front of them. Then Mario and Luigi charge in and then bunk their heads and then Rean slash through them, knocking them to the ground.

"Ooooowww... You know… maybe reporting to Lord Crump isn't such a bad idea after all…"
"I'm with you. Oof..." The other said as they took off running, locking the door behind them.
"Hmph, that was just pitiful." Mario said, putting his hammer away.
"And they thought attacking us head-on was a good idea." Altina rolled her eyes
"But aren't those the guys we saw when we first came here?" Levi asked
"Yeah, you're right. So those guys are the X-Nauts?" Luigi also asked.
"Then that means they're the one who kidnapped Peach." Mario clench his fist. "At least we know we can capture them and have them tell us where Peach is."
"Right." Rean nodded. "But the question is, where are the other Punies?" Rean asked
"Yeah where did they go…?" Punio wondered and then spotted something sneak by one of the pillars. "Hmm?" He went over. "Hey, I saw you back there! Get over here for Pete's sake!" He requested, pulling out a Puni and then gently pushed the Puni to the others.

"Hiya!" Paimon waved.
"Ack! They're… they're so huge!" The Puni exclaimed. "Well except for the flying one."
"Hey! Oh wait, you got me there."
"I got me some powerful allies! They won't hurt us!" Punio said.
"Uh… are you sure they're not gonna eat us…?" Another spoke as Punio turned his body.
"Huh? How many more are back there?" He asked as a few Punies appeared.
"Whoa, they're huge."
"Nice mustache!"
"Ooh the silver hair one is pretty."
"Oh, dude, green was so last year…"
"Is the girl a fairy?"
"What's with the black outfit?"
"As the black outfit girl a rabbit?"
"Whoa, look at the red one with the... silver color hair?"
"Hey, the golden one looks like a rare one."
"The black hair one look easy-going."
"It's okay everyone! They easily beat up those X-Nauts like it was nothing to them!" Punio said as they emerged and gathered around. "Wait… is this it? Only ten of you? Where's everyone else?"
"Hmph! What do you think?" A fatter Puni emerged from the statues. "As soon as you left, everyone panicked and got captured!"
"Wait, what do you mean by that, Puniper?" Punio asked, not liking what he was implying.
"I mean that everyone got captured, the Elder… and even… Your sister."
"WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY CAPTURED PETUNI?!" Punio yelled.
"Oh yeah, they got captured and was taken elsewhere to who knows where. And they keep going on and on about some crystal thing. Not to mention those rotten Jabbi tribe is in league with them!"
"Ugh! Why am I not surprised with the Jabbi tribe... those guys always wanted to take away our home. Which is why we need to join forces and take them out!"
"And you honestly believe you are to lead us? You left us to get captured… for what, finding us some allies?" Puniper asked, looking at them all. "Hmph! And what makes you think I can trust them? They don't look like they have the guts, especially that wimpy green one and some flying thing!"
"Hey!" Luigi and Paimon pouted a bit.
"They can prove it to you! We'll save them all!" Punio argued
"Ha! Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. If, and this is a BIG if, if you come back with all the Punies, then maybe I can respect you and follow you as our soon-to-be-leader. Ha! As if that'll happen." Puniper said as the Punies went back to their hiding spot. "I'll just remain riiiiiiiiiight here!"
(Resume Boggly Tree)
"Hmph, we'll show you! Let's go." Punio said as they walked off to the warp pipe.
"Good luck! You're gonna need a lot of it! Heh heh…" Puniper taunted as they went into the Warp Pipe as they went into the next area.
"Ugh! The nerve of that one! What's his problem?" Paimon asked.
"Puniper may be hard headed, but he always has a big heart." Flurrie said. "I suspect that he's just as worried as everyone else."
"And he's taking it out on me… yeesh…" Punio sweatdropped.
"Well Paimon was this close to call him an insulting nickname." Paimon pouted
"May I ask what is this pedestal?" Altina asked.
"Honestly… I'm not sure." Punio admitted as they went into the warp pipe to go into the next area and walked forward, while Aether went to a bush, pulling out a Power Punch.
"Oh, this look like it can come in handle." Aether mused as he put it away and join back with the others. An X-Naut soon appeared and charged him and Mario, fortunately he and the others took care of the X-Naut.
Then they went up the Warp Pipe and walked over, where they were attacked by a Yux.
"What are those creatures?" Altina asked
"Not sure... maybe the X-Naut created them?" Aether wondered as they got closer to engage the Yux, and as they engaged in battle, another Yux and X-Naut aided the Yux in battle. Flurrie easily got rid of the Mini-Yux's that aided the Yux's, and blew away the poor X-Naut that wasn't prepared for Flurrie's Gale Force Attack, then the Yux's were defeated by one last jump and attack from Luigi and Altina.
"Mama mia, that was a bit of a headache." Luigi said.
"Hmm... how curious..." Altina amused as they went into the Warp pipe.
Meanwhile…
"Oh come on… This is completely brutal! How much longer do we have to be here?" An X-Naut grumbled in a storage room. "Seriously, that Crystal Star should be here!" He exclaimed. "Ugh… you'd think the Punies would be more cooperative since we locked them up, but noooo…" He sighed. "Well, we'll find that thing eventually."
A shadow landed near the X-Naut. "Hmm?" He turned around, only to get karate chopped in the back of his neck. "Ooof! …Ow…?"
Back with the others…
The others emerged from the Warp Pipe, seeing some color coded cells being red and blue.
"Red and blue cells?" Rean asked.
"I'm guessing the silver color is getting old." Levi shrug.
"Elder!" Punio exclaimed as he scurried over to the red cell.
"Hmm? Oh, Punio! So good to see you!" The Elder greeted calmly. "How've you been?"
"Uh, Elder… why are you so mellow? You're locked up in a cage." Punio pointed out.
"Hmm, it would seem that way." She said nonchalantly.
"Where are the others?"
"The others… ah yes, the others… I believe-"
"Big bro? Is that you?" A voice asked as Punio scurried over to the blue cell.
"-That the others are in the other cell. Why, as a matter of fact-" The Elder kept talking, blissfully unaware that everyone left her.
"Petuni! Thank goodness you're okay!" Punio exclaimed.
"Yeah! I'm so glad to see you again! I was so worried about you."
"It's okay my dear sister, I'm all right." Punio said. "I found us some powerful allies!"
"Oooh, they look pretty tough!" Petuni said.
"Hold on... these bars are big enough for all of you to get out on your own! Why don't you just do that?" Levi asked.
"Oh gee, why didn't we think of THAT before?" A Puni sarcastically asked as it scurried over to the bar and attempted to squeeze through, and got zapped. "YAGH!" He cried and jumped back. "They have an electrical barrier at the top of these bars… and we can't reach it!"
"Electrical barrier..." Altina mused. "Claiomh Solais!"
Then Claiomh Solais appeared.
"What the heck!" A Puni exclaimed.
"I ask that you all stand back." Altina said and then Claiomh Solais attached to slash the bars but an electric barrier repel Claiomh Solais's strike. "Hmm... It would appear the electric barrier was able to repel Claiomh Solais's attack. Perhaps I should expect as much."
"There should be a key in the storage room. I don't know what color though." Petuni said.
"Let's-a go!" Mario said as they wandered into the room… Except for Levi who was staring at the lock.
"Hmm... let me try something." Levi said as he cast his hand on the lock and a small magic circle appeared

Back to the others, they saw a KO'd X-Naut on the ground, and then spotted Ms. Mowz.
"Oh! Hello, everyone. Fancy to meet you again." Ms. Mowz said.
"Ms. Mowz right? What are you doing here?" Rean asked
"Oh I'm just collecting treasure, so don't mind me! However, I do have a piece of information for you." She said.
"Oh? What is it?" Luigi asked.
"Why, the Crystal Star that you are looking for is deep inside this tree." She said and then hopped into the open window. "That is all I have to share with you. Take care, everyone… including you, hunky guy!" She said, blowing a kiss at Mario before departing.
"Oh me oh my! Someone has a crush on you!" Flurrie said.
Mario blushed. "Yeah… I know."
"And here I thought Rean would get the ladies." Aether tease.
"Uh, what?" Rean tilts his head.
"She's a floozy, I'll give her that." Goombella said from Mario's pocket…
"Well, the bright side is now we know where the Crystal Star is!" Paimon cheered and then the X-Naut got up.

(Resuming Boggly Tree)
"Ooogh, where am I?" He wondered and saw the group. "Hey. HEY! You think it's funny to KO me like that when I'm unaware of what's going on?! I'LL SHOW YOU!" He yelled and engaged them in battle, only to get K.O by Kazuha as he reappeared behind it. "Ooh..." Then he was unconscious.
"Perhaps we should lock him up and interrogate him for questions." Altina advised.
"Good idea." Rean nodded as Luigi found a Red key as they walked back after finding an Ultra Shroom while dragging the X-Naut unconscious.
"It's a shame that there were no Blue Keys in there." Kazuha said.
"I'm sure we'll find... the... key?" Rean blicked as they saw Levi and the open blue ceil door and the Punies are out. "Huh?!"
"Hey guys!" Levi waved
"How did you guys get out?!" Punio exclaimed
Levi chuckled. "I use that magic spell that can unlock doors and locks. I got the inspiration from Emma after trading magic. I was going to alert you but too late."
"Yep. It was awesome!" Petini giggled. "Thank you so much everyone! Oh, Puino, Mushrooms are your favorite, right?" She asked and pulled out a Dried Shroom. "It's a little… dried up but I knew you'd like it."
"Ooooh!" Punio said and gobbled it up. "…Ugh… urp… it's… delicious! It's… gah… great!"
"…It's not that good, is it? It dried up a few days ago and-"
"GIVE ME A HUG, PETUNI!" Punio tackled her.
"Ooof! Punio, not in front of everyone!"
"Aww, while those two are coddling each other, I was gonna do the same to the elder's cage but you guys have the key." Levi chuckled.
"Right, at least we saved one of them." Mario said
"Oh, wait up!" Punio said as he let go of the hug and they unlocked the red door and they walked into the cell. "Elder! We're here to rescue you!" Punio exclaimed, and then the Elder turned around.
(BGM paused)
"YOU FOOLISH CHILD!" The Elder yelled, growing huge and surprising everyone.

"Wah!" Luigi yelped.
"What the heck!?" Paimon exclaimed
"You decided to save ME first instead of your fellow Punies?! What were you THINKING, Punio?! Haven't you figured it out yet? It's younger people first, Elders last! Did I not teach you that?!"
"Uh… I think you have that backwards." Punio pointed out.
"SILENCE! You will not talk back to your elders like that! It's no wonder that everyone calls you a bonehead, especially Puniper! Now listen well, for you need to stop being a moron! Now first things first… You know that you will one day lead the Punies..."
Several hours later…
Everyone was either sleeping, playing video games with their Rotom phones or checking their weapons, and the X-Naut they defeated was on the Blue cell. while the Elder was still scolding Punio. "Do I make myself clear!"
"Y-yes Elder!"
"Bah… only speak once! …Now, tell me something. Why are you in here?"
Punio anime fell and then got back up. "We came to rescue everyone. The others are out and you were next."
"Why didn't you say so in the first place? This cell is killing my back for Pete's sake!" She said and then wandered off, while basically everyone facepalmed at the Elder's senile mind.
"Oh, Elder… what are we gonna do with you?" Punio asked.
"Love her, despite her… senile mind." Petuni said, walking up next to her.
"Exactly." Punio said and then they all took off where they met back at the entrance. "Ooooh Punipeeeer! Look who I haaaave!" Punio said in a sing songy voice.
"Hmph! Took you long enough." Puniper said. "However, I am not going to be joining you."
"What?! Why not?" Mario asked.
"Because he saved the others first. If Punio was smart, which is he isn't, he would've saved the Elder first and saved the Petuni and the others for last."
"YOU STUBBORN MULE!" The Elder yelled, getting huge again. "I am not going to sit by and let you disregard Punio like that! You understand me?! It is clear that he saved the others immediately before me and that shows courage and leadership! Now you will be part of his group to get this Crystal Star, do you understand!"
"Yipe! Yes ma'am!" Puniper said as the small group of Punies went to join the group.
"So, what are your names, by the way? I recognize Flurrie." The Elder asked as they introduced themselves. "Ah, Marty-O, Lougey, Mean, Peanut, Lion, Myler, Scion, and Kamama. Some of you have odd names but good to know! But seriously, who would name their child Mean, Myler, A Peanut, Scion and Kamama? Do parents these days don't know the meaning of names anymore? How shameful!"
"Marty-O?" Mario asked.
"Lou… what… that's not even close!" Luigi complained.
"So she replace the R with M..." Rean sweatdrop
"How did she confuse my name with an animal?" Levi sighed.
"How did she get my name with a snack?" Altina asked with a deadpan look.
"How did she get Aether from Myler?" Aether wondered.
"I said my name is Paimon! Not Scion!" Paimon pouted.
"I'm not gonna wonder why she confuse my name with Kamama..." Kazuha sighed
"Come on, let's just go." Punio said as they started to walk away.
"HOLD YOUR HORSES!" The Elder yelled, nearly causing them to trip. "Forgive me, my memory tends to slip every now and then."
'That's an understatement…' Everyone thought to themselves.
"Well, I am giving you this." The Elder said, and handed Mario a Puni Orb. "This is the Puni Orb. Put this in any pedestal and the Punies will flock all over it like a moth to the flame. Take it out and they'll disperse."
"Got it." Mario nodded as he took it and they walked back into the warp pipe, where they saw the pedestal in place as Mario put the Puni Orb in, and once he put it in, all the Punies went to the pedestal.
"Ooooh, I don't know what's come over me!" A Puni said.
"Pretty pretty… shiny shiny…" Another spoke.
"I cannot look away!" Puniper said as a warp pipe emerged near them, and then Mario took out the Puni Orb.
"Eh? What happened?" Punio asked.
"I don't know…" Petuni quietly said. "Where did that Warp Pipe come from?" She wondered as they all went into the Warp Pipe. Mario hit a button on a control panel to activate a door and they turned around to look at what they were up against.
"What the heck is that?" Paimon asked.
"Judging from the bubbles, I say this looks like the bathing room for the Punies." Levi said as Luigi had an idea and dropped his hat in the water, as it came back up in a bubble and safely landed in his head.
"Huh! How about that." Luigi said.
"Okay, so it can safely take us up if we fall." Mario said. "Hey, Levi, can you use your magic and create a magic bridge?"
"Sure." Levi said as he use his powers and created a bridge of light as it glows. "There we go." They said as they got across.
"Hmm?" Kazuha look down. "Wait a moment." Kazuha said as he jump down and then found a Shrine Spite, hit the block, and notice a Thunder Rage in the bush and take it. Then he use the pipe, and use the bridge and rejoin the others. "I thought something interesting was underneath." He said as he reveal a Shine Spirite and a Thunder Rage.
"Seriously, how many Shine Sprites did we miss?" Luigi asked.
"I have no clue…" Mario sweatdropped as they went into the warp pipe where they walked across… and a Pider dropped down.
"AAAAH! PANIC!" A Puni yelled as they all scattered.
"A spider?!" Levi got his Glaive out, readied to attack it.
"Piders, actually." Goombella said, popping out of Mario's pocket. "They spit three web wads at you, they have five HP, three attack and zero defense. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna hide. Those things are disgusting!" She said and hid back in Mario's pocket as Levi use his Glaive and take care of the Pider.
Then they found all the Punies and went down, where one Pale Piranha went to greet them as a Pider joined them, but the others took care of them as another Pale Piranha came in with another Pale Piranha and two Piders where the group took care of them and they went into the next area from the Warp Pipe. As they got out of the Warp Pipe, they saw a mosquito-like creature spotting them and then fleeing from them.
"Eek! Big bugs!" Paimon exclaimed
"JABBI!" A Puni yelled. "ATAAAAAACK!" He yelled, chasing after him.
"Hey! HEY! Wait!" Punio exclaimed.
"What was that big?" Kazuha asked
"That was a Jabbi."
"Oh so those are your enemy who sided with the X-Nauts." Kazuha said and then the Puni emerged from the room, completely beat up.
"Mommy… I can taste color…" He groaned.
"Get that Puni medical treatment! We are not going to stand for this!" Puniper said as the Punies marched into the room while the others stood there and Levi heal the Puni with his magic.
"Uh… should we go and see?" Luigi asked.
"Well, I am curious." Rean said as they walked in and saw 101 Punies going against 11 Jabbies... aaaand since it was a huge army against a small force, the opposing side were utterly wrecked as they all cheered and went to go destroy the base, allowing the others to go inside and see the place that held the blue key hanging, which Mario took.
"Oh, how about that." Mario said, tossing to the side and saw a panel in the middle of the room, to which he responded with a ground pound, and he fell through.
"See anything?" Luigi called out.
"I see… a Charge badge!" Mario said as he hopped over to grab it and then emerged from the Warp Pipe. "Any takers?" He asked.
"Hmm... Perhaps I should." Altina said as Mario tossed it to her and she grabbed it. "Thanks you." She said as they walked off to the other side of the room, but two Piders got in the way and scared the Punies, so the group took care of the first one and the others along the way.
They hopped down to get the others when they noticed the wall in front of them looked a bit off.
"That doesn't look right." Flurrie mused and then blew on it, to which it was a wallpaper and it blew off. "Aha! Just as I thought." She said as they went on in to discover a secret shop.
"Well howdy! Good to see you." Pungent, the Shop Keeper said as they walked through to look at the shops… when a few Punies went over to a small spot and made a few noises.
"Hey! What are you guys doing?" Punio asked as the Punies pulled out a small cute Jabbi. "JABBLE?! What are you doing here?!"
"A Jabbi?! Whoa now! That little guy is gonna get mixed up in my inventory!" Pungent exclaimed.
"My goodness, this little one is simply adorable! We musn't leave it alone!" Flurrie said. "This Jabbi feels different than the others!"
"What do you say, Jabble? Want to come with us?" Punio asked as Jabble hopped a few times and leaned into Punio, seeming as if it was hugging him. "That's a yes!"
"Well since he's harmless, okay!" Paimon giggled.
"Let's-a go!" Mario said as they took off, and since there were no Piders in the way, they made it to the other room where they saw about 100 Jabbies in the area. "Mama mia!" He exclaimed.
"Now I think this is an even army..." Aether said.
"Alright… CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!" Punio yelled as they all charged straight for the opposing team… and when they collided, it turned into an absolute mess as everyone had no idea what was going on.
"So what should we do? Just sit here and watch?" Paimon asked.
"Eh, the battle will end shortly." Levi shrug. "So guys, are you planning to buy the Nintendo Switch?"
"Oh yeah, I already have one in my pocket." Rean said as he pulled out one.
"Wait what?! Since when?!"
"A while back."
"We have ours." Luigi said as he, Mario, Aether and Kazuha have one.
"Aww no fair! I didn't buy one! I was planning on it!" Levi pouted. "Okay, I need to head to a store and buy... Whatever games we can play or whatever!"
"Sounds like a plan." Rean chuckled. "Oh, let's all add each other. And we can get someone for Levi once this is done."
"Good idea." Mario nodded
"What is this Nintendo Switch?" Altina asked and they explain to her. "I see. So that's what Millium has."
Then they notice the battle is over.
"Holy crap, we won! Let's go!" Punio said as they all took off to destroy the hive.
"I guess the battle is over." Paimon said.
"Sooo... All in favor of forgetting that ever happened?" Aether asked
"Aye!" Everyone nodded as the hive exploded and they continued onward.
They went into the next area where a Pale Piranha Plants greeted them, they took care of them as they went down the Warp Pipe to where another Pale Piranha Plant came in they also took care of them easily as they went into the room and saw a peculiar pedestal in front of them as they gathered around.
"Hold on... does this pedestal look different to anyone?" Kazuha said.
"Yeah, and not to mention it's in bad design." Paimon said as they all looked at each other.
"Trap." Everyone said and walked off… and then a cage fell on them.

"Ack! What the heck?!" Luigi asked.
"Buh… buh huh huh huh!"
(BGM paused)
(Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door ost - Lord Crump's Theme)
"Boy, I thought for sure that you guys would fall for that one! I saw you guys sticking that thing into the other pedestals so I thought I'd make one! It only took several hours and we're closing in on the Crystal Star because of you guys slacking off!" Crump said.
"Thanks a LOT, Elder…" Punio grumbled.
"And now you guys can sit back and watch while I take the Crystal Sta-" He paused when he saw Levi use his magic, created a portal and they all enter and reappear out of the cage, looking at Crump and the X-Naut with a deadpan look on their face. "-rs... ... Okay that's just cheating!"
"Like you're any different." Levi shot back as he and the others beat the living crap out of Crump and the X-Nauts.
(Resume Theme of the Punies)
"What will we do without you, Levi?" Paimon giggled.
Levi chuckled. "Hehehe, I don't know, but glad that's over."
"I didn't know you can create portals." Luigi said.
"Part of my powers."
"I envy you sometimes, Levi." Rean chuckled
"Aww, but I envy you Rean. Oh hang on." Levi said as he cast Ice magic and freeze Crump and his X-Nauts. "Okay, let's go." He said as they walked off and found a pedestal up above.
They blew the Punies down the hole thanks to Mario and Flurrie as they all went into the Warp Pipe, where they strolled on through into the next room. The group easily took care of an X-Naut and a Yux in the area and they then solved a puzzle by draining one room of water and flooding another room with said water with Mario getting a Shrink Stomp badge and Kazuha grabbing a Shine Sprite randomly floating there. They went into the next room where they saw a giant pedestal which Mario put the Puni Orb in and the whole place rumbled before they went down the elevator.
"Huh! So that's how you get into this room…" Punio said as Mario took the orb out as they walked into the final room, seeing a lot of Puni statues in the room and inserted the Puni Orb in the pedestal… and the whole place flashed before the Emerald Star emerged from the statue in the middle.
(BGM ended)
"All right we got it!" Rean said as they walked over to it, before the place exploded with smoke and then Lord Crump hustled on in and grabbed the Crystal Star.
(Resuming Lord Crump's Theme)
"Aha, gotcha!" He exclaimed as the smoke cleared.
"What?! How did you-?!" Levi asked.
"You thought trapping me in ice would get you so far? You better think again!" Lord Crump laughed. "Man, that was so irritating that you were one step ahead of me, but this is mine! And I have a little present for you." He said as he walked over to a wall and punched the ground as a warp pipe came down. "You want to know what that present is? IT'S A REMOTE TIME BOMB!" He yelled, pulling out a detonator. "You are going to be living underneath this tree for the rest of your miserable lives!" He said, clicking the button.

"He's heading to the exit! Come on let's-" Rean paused as he saw Levi created a portal to the entrance with his magic.

"Eh, why not beat him over there first?" Levi asked as he enter the portal.
The others look at each other and shrug and then enter the portal.
"This is the phrase of cheating, isn't it?" Altina asked.
"Would you prefer running under Five minute?" Levi asked
"Negative. So this is acceptable."
"How in the world did you get here?" The Elder asked
"Magic." They all answered
"All right, that will-" Crump slow down and heel and then see everyone was already ahead of him. "What in blazes?! HOW!? How did you get ahead of me!?"
"Magic." Paimon answered
"AAAAAAH! Curse you magic! And curse you boy for using that teleportation magic! That's cheating!"
"Would you prefer we kick you ass as we catch up?" Levi asked. "Regardless of the outcome, we can catch up to you."
"Not to mention we been through situations like this before. So, this is over for you." Rean added
"Bah! Whatever!" Crump muttered. "But no matter… I guess I'll turn this off." He said, pressing the button. "But now you've forced my hand! Get ready to be pounded by my secret weapon!" He exclaimed, pressing a button as a huge mech appeared in front of everyone.

"So now we're facing a large robot?" Rean asked as everyone got in their battle stance.
"Well, at least this is an appreciated boss battle. And this isn't the first time we face someone piloting a machine." Levi comment.
"But that giant machine looks pretty tough!" Paimon exclaimed.
"Hmm..." Altina scan it. "Claiomh Solais and I might be able to handle it."
"Elder, you and the Punies need to find somewhere to safe. This battle will get messy." Kazuha said.
"And miss out on a good fight? Out of the question!" The Elder remark.
"Come on Elder! We can watch from a safe distance!" Punio exclaimed.

Crump laughed. " All right you punks! Are you crying yet? Yeah? Sorry, but this thing isn't armed with tissues. Magnus von Grapple has that effect on people. Total, weeping terror. And you ain't seen nothing yet! Check out the power on this bad boy!" He exclaimed.
"Someone is delusional." Levi comment.
"All right everyone! Let's show this guy what we're made of!" Rean declared.
"Right!" Everyone nodded
"Claiomh Solais, begin to engage in combat!" Altina command as Claiomh Solais respond.
X-Naut Machine pilot by an idiot - Magnus Von Grapple
"Hey! Give me a better name than that author!" Crump complained to the screen.

"Who is he talking too?" Paimon asked
"Hey Goombella, you got anything on him?" Levi asked.
"Okay, Max HP is 30, with an attack of 2 and one defense. It takes advantage of its size by stomping on you, shooting out its fists, and doing gnarly rocket punches. You oughta take down its arms since they're really weak and-"
"Hey! Do you mind shutting your yapper for one second! We're in the middle of a battle!" Crump said. "I'm going to show off this awesome power on this awesome bad boy!"
"Sure if you call it tacky…" Goombella eye rolled.
Rean and Levi form a combat link. Mario and Luigi form a combat link. And Aether and Kazuha form a combat link. Magnus attempted to punch the group at they jump back in time, then Rean and Levi charge at him, letting out slashes while Mario and Luigi jump into the air, bringing out their hammers and swing it at Crumps pilot center but he block their attack with his arms, giving Aether and Kazuha let out a swirl slash, follow up an upward slash on Aether's part, and a jump spiral slashed downward
"Urgh! We'll see if you like this!" Crump said, aiming his foot at Aether, attempting to stomp him but Aether use his strength to prevent him from squashing him.
Claiomh Solais launch itself toward the Mangus Von Grapple, hitting the glass to knock it back.
"Phew, thanks." Aether said.
"Your welcome." Altina replied as Levi swirl his Glaive, readied himself, then launch himself toward Magnus Von Grapple by letting some trust attacks onto the armor before he dodge an upcoming fist attack from Magnus Von Grapple by backfiring.
Then spin slash the arm, allowing Rean to let out a flurry of slashes onto Magnus Von Grapple's armor before letting out a down left slash on the X.
"Let's see if you like this!" Crump said, launching Missile Fists at them, but then Altina fire laser beam onto the missiles and destroy them, then Mario jump onto Magnus Von Grapple and stomp on the glass, while Luigi hammer on the boot. "Urgh… not good…" He said. "Seriously, seven against one? This ain't fair!"
"This coming from the guy with the giant mech!" Paimon pointed out.
"One of you has a mech too! And you're pretty much useless! Why do you guys even allow her to hang out with you?" Crump fired back.
"Hey!"
"If this was a mech battle Cloiamh Solais would be superior then your machine." Altina bluntly said it.
"Ha!" Levi smirked
"Oh yeah!? Can your machine do this?!" Crump asked, swirling his arm and then launch himself- "GWAAAAH!" "-towards the others but Kazuha's Tachi glow green.
"As one as wind and cloud!" Kazuha yelled, let out Autumn Whirlwind, causing damage onto Magnus Von Grapple all over.
"AAGH!" Crump exclaimed from the attack.
"Aether, you and me!" Kazuha said as their combat link glow brighter.
"You got it!" Aether readied his stance with Kazuha and both zoom, forming speed invisible to the naked eye slashes all over Magnus Von Grapple before reappear with the others, as right on time, several phantom slashes, combined with Light and green energy strikes, leaving a deep impact on Magnus Von Grapple, in the result that Magnus Von Grapple begin to malfuction.
"No! No! I was supposed to crush you all! NOOOOO!" Crump yelled as Magnus Von Grapple exploded.

Crump dropped to the ground in front of everyone with the Emerald Star dropping next to him. "Ugggh! Damnit! Magnus Von Grapple! How could we lose?!…" He groaned as he got up. "Curse you all! I'll remember this!" He said and took off running.
"Lord Crump wait for us!" A voice exclaimed as all the X-Nauts took off.
"Well, that takes care of all of that." Punio said.
"Hope you enjoy the show." Aether chuckled.
"Thank you Marty-o and friends. The tree is safe and you can have the Crystal Star. The Emerald Star." The Elder said.
"Thank you." Mario nodded as he picked up the Crystal Star with everyone surrounding him.

The Punies were singing with high praises that they were officially at peace from the invaders that have invaded their tree. Mario and the gang were praised and hailed as heroes of the Boggly Woods with all of them wondering who the X-Nauts truly were. And knowing this isn't over for them either.

Meanwhile...
"Helloooooo...anyone out there?" The jailed X-Naut asked. "I'm totally alone here! Anyone still here?!" He exclaimed before sighing. "I'm never getting out of here."
I feel so bad for the X-Naut there. And Rean and the others forgot to question Crump about Peach's Whereabouts.
