[8 months later]
It's been a year since the last tournament. After the destruction of South Town by the hands of the Zero Cannon, the incident was reported to be the result of an artificial satellite crashing to earth, and adorned the front pages to various newspapers of countries all over the world. A legion of individuals called for the end to The King of Fighters tournament, which had a notorious history of always inviting some sort of violent accident.
Everyone were glad to know that Rose was still alive, Rose had been teaching Rosie about the important things in life and taught her how to enjoy life. Kula has gotten pregnant with Kris' child and the two of them kept it a secret from everyone because Kris was afraid that the Cartel would go after his unborn child. Kyo had a child who was a female version of himself, they named her Kyoko.
[In the forest]
Azalea and Leone were returning back home, the two of them had went on a training trip to get stronger. The two of them had got a lot stronger and learned a lot of techniques.
Azalea wore an icy blue openly down vest under a long sleeve white buttoned shirt which is folded below the elbows. She has a pink ribbon on the collar, icy blue blue skirt, black fingerless gloves, black socks and red shoes. She wears black cycling shorts underneath her skirt.
Leone wore a black short sleeveless tank top that exposed her midriff underneath an unzipped black short sleeves jacket, black gloves, black knee-high boots. She tied her hair in a ponytail similar to her twin.
Azalea: I can't believe how fun it was to train in the cold place.
Leone: Your element is ice, I'm not surprised. So are you ready to deal with your clone once and for all.
Azalea: You don't need to ask Leone. I'm Impressed by the way you can control an entire ocean by blinking.
Leone: Water is my element, so it's easy for me to do those things.
Azalea: Even your father couldn't do that. Your sister can control the river while using 100% of her power and you just blink to control an entire ocean.
Leone: Let's go to your mom. It feels weird to call her your mother because she looks like your older sister.
Azalea: I know.
The two of them continued walking towards their home.
[At the Yata temple]
Shin and Sam were training while Chizuru was watching them.
Chizuru wore her priestess outfit.
Sam wore black crop top exposing her midriff, sports a red bandana on her head, chains on the right side of her black capris jeans and finger-less gloves and wore dark gray boots. She was Samantha Kagura.
Shin wore a half-zipped black leather jacket with four zipper pouches on the front and one on each sleeves, a white v-neck shirt underneath. blue jeans, a pocket chain, black buckled shoes, a large C-buckled black belt, and a pair of black fingerless padded gloves.
Shin and Sam stopped training and bowed at each other. They walked towards Chizuru.
Shin: You can feel it, right Chizuru?
Chizuru: Yes, the seal is weakening.
Shin: Precisely. I'm not worried about the Orochi, I can ask for Azalea and Kris to deal with him. Then Sam will seal it for eternity.
Chizuru: A good plan, but why are you worried?
Shin: Those From The Past, they haven't been seen since the DUSK Tournament. Saiki got a lot stronger than us by training for 3 years while we trained for all our lives. Yasakani may have defeated him last time, but he may not be lucky this time.
Chizuru: We still have Ashura, he is stronger than everyone combined. His growth in power is faster than Saiki's.
Shin: Ashura has been through a lot.
Sam: We don't need his help. We're better off without him.
Shin: Why do you hate him? You don't even know him.
Sam: I know him very well. He is someone I don't want to see again, I was blinded by love.
Shin: What do you mean?
Sam: I met him in 1999, I was in love with him and he pretended like he loved me. The two of us slept with each other and that bastard left me while I was asleep.
Shin: WHAT!? I'm gonna kill him when I see him.
Chizuru: Is there something we must know?
Sam: Yes, I got pregnant after that.
Chizuru/Shin: WHAT!
Sam: I got pregnant with a baby girl. After I gave birth to that girl, I left her on the doorstep of some orphanage.
Shin: WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?
Sam: I had no choice. I was looking for you and a child would have held me back
Shin: Have you tried looking for that child?
Sam: Yes. I went to the orphanage where I left my daughter but the caretakers said that she ran away to look for me and her father. I found out that she was treated very badly because of the powers she possessed.
Shin: I will help you find your daughter.
The three of them continued spending some time together.
[At the Kusanagi training grounds]
Shiki and Kyo had just finished training with each other, the two of them decided to train with each other to get stronger since Ryoma had gone to train with Yasakani and the others.
Kyo wore another one of his outfits.
Shiki wore a modified blue gakuran, a Japanese male school uniform, as it appeared with her unbuttoned coat with the sleeves rolled up to her biceps and a vest, each with gold buttons, a tucked-in white shirt, blue pants, a brown/gold belt and white buckled shoes. She wore a large white headband to compliment this attire, along with a pair of her uniquely designed black fingerless gloves. Her gloves' cut extends to midway of her forearms, with a single gold stripe marked around the areas of her palms, another gold stripe added near the end of the cut, and an eclipsed sun crest near the area of her wrist.
Shiki: Not bad Kyo, you have a lot to learn before you can get to my level with me using my maximum power while using these gloves.
Kyo: You're still strong as ever, I had trained for my entire life to get strong, but you guys got a lot stronger than me. Let me show you something cool.
Kyo lit up his flames and concentrated. His crimson flames turned gray, shocking Shiki.
Shiki: How is it possible?
Kyo: It seems that Yagami wasn't the only one gifted with the inferno flames. Unlike him, they are not corrupting my mind.
Shiki: I'll still be training you little brother. I don't want you to end up like Iori. How about you go spend time with sister-in-law and your child.
Kyo: Right.
Kyo went inside the mansion to spend time with Kyoko and Yuki, leaving Shiki all alone. Yuki pulled out her Naginata and started doing a very swift dance with it.
Shiki: Let me start the training once again.
Shiki began her training once again, she wanted to keep her skills sharp.
[A house far away from the society]
In a house with many rooms, lived Rosa, Rosie, and Rose. The three of them decided to build a mansion in Japan so they can be close to their friends. The three of them were in the training grounds, training.
Rose wore black leather fingerless gloves, she also wore a very short and very tight white jacket that would have exposed her entire belly if it wasn't for the tight white shirt. She also had matching white pants that were also tight, but only on the top part and not on the bottom since they were loose and wore white dress shoes. The outfit showed off her sexy body.

She also had matching emerald green pants that were also tight, but only on the top part and not on the bottom since they were loose and wore white dress shoes. Both of the jacket sleeves have the same white flame symbol. The outfit showed off her sexy body.
Rose: Good work Rosie, you have learned all the Divine Arts Of The Yamata Clan. It's time I teach you the moves my clan use when they combine their main ability and secondary ability.
Rosa: You haven't taught me those moves sis. I want to learn them too.
Rosie: [Cheerful] Me too sis. I'm having so much fun training with you sis.
Rose: I'll teach you them. These moves are used to kill someone or destroy their souls. Use these moves only when they are needed.
Rosa/Rosie: [Cheerful] Right.
Rose: (It's good to see Rosa and Rosie happy. I'll make sure that nothing happens to the two of you. I'll protect your smiles.)
Rose began training with her two sisters. The three of them were happy with each other and were willing to do anything to protect each other.
[With Rin]
Rin was training in the training grounds, she finished training and decided to to test her moves.
Rin wore a large-collared white shirt that barred her midriff underneath a long trenchcoat that had a large thinly white crescent moon crest marked on the back that represents the Yasakani clan, red pants, a large black belt with a gold buckle, a smaller black belt that hangs loose on the side of her hip, black shoes, black choker, and a necklace with a silver Yasakani crest as pendant.
Rin: Let me test the Ura 1029 Shiki: Homurahotogi.
Rin prepared for a brief moment, then quickly leaped across the field touching the ground and made pillar of purple flames.
Rin: It's still as strong as ever. Let me test it once again.
Rin got into a frenzy with purple flames in both hands, then jumped on the entire field and slammed her hands into the ground and exploded it with her purple flames, making a huge pillar of purple flames.
Rin was grinning maliciously at the damage she caused, she could understand why her brother loved this move when he was young.
Rin: This move is very dangerous. Let me test my favorite move.
Rin got into frenzy and rushed towards the field while dragging her hands on the ground and delivered a powerful upwards slash.
Rin: It's powerful than ever. I should get ready to visit Rose.
Rin stopped what she was doing and went inside the mansion to go to Rose and her sisters.
[Kris and Kula's home]
Kris was home with Kula, who was pregnant with his child. Kris had never left Kula's side when he found out that she was pregnant. He was now in the living room with Kula, he had just finished training.
Kris wore a blue body suit underneath a a blue biker jacket with white text in the back saying "A Badass Bastard" and wore a blue jeans with blue chaps worn over them. He wore blue metal gloves paired with blue biker boots. He even had his trademark sunglasses and bandana.
Kula wore her outfit, but without her sweater.
Kula: You don't have to look after me all the time, you know.
Kris: The Cartel may know that you are pregnant with my child and will send anyone after you.
Kula: You don't have to worry about me, I'm a tough girl.
Kris: You may be strong honey, but they might send Azalea's clone and mine after you. K' and Maxima are still nowhere to be found.
Kula: Me and the bundle of joy will be fine. [Rubbing her baby bump] Daddy is very strong, isn't he my child, yes he is.
Kris looked at Kula and gave her the biggest smile he could muster. He hugged Kula and the two of them took a nap.
[A few weeks later]
Everything was going all fine for everyone, nothing bad happened except for that another tournament had been hosted and other fighters had received invitations.
Kris was at the Shirayuki clan training grounds. He was training with Azalea and Leone. He came to the Shirayuki mansion so that his mother can look after Kula in his absence. He was now resting with his older sister and friend.
An envelope fell in front of him and he picked it up before ripping the seal and took out an invitation card.
Kris: They're back to the heat for an answer they've long been searching. Is it their fate or just a bloody coincidence? It shall be cleared as four powers will beat as one. The tournament will take place at the stadium where the KOF XII tournament finals took place.
Azalea: Are you gonna participate in this tournament?
Kris: Yes, it's time to end the Cartel once and for all. I'm doing this for Kula, my unborn child, K', Maxima, the real Seirah, Krohnen, Ángel, Nameless, Sylvie, and everyone who has suffered from the hands of NESTS. Are you gonna join my team sister?
Azalea: No, the Cartel will be analyzing all our move, I'd rather stay on the look out.
Leone: She's right. Go recruit Shiki, Rosa, and Sam. They will agree to join your team.
Kris: Good luck ladies. I have to go to those three to recruit them.
Kris retreated into the shadows and headed to the place where he knew the three girls he wanted to recruit loved to hang.
[In an alley]
Shiki, Sam, and Rosa were in the alley, they were in the middle of a lot of bodies of unconscious gang members. The three of them had a lot of fun beating the stuffing out of the gang.
Shiki: They were pathetic for gang members.
Sam: You're right, I was using my street fighting style to defeat them.
Shiki: I regret not using the Orochinagi on one of them.
Rosa: I wanted to use my powers of darkness to give them nightmares but that would be overkill.
Shiki: Let's get out of here. I'm still bored.
Rosa: I'm bored too, I'd rather fight the Sports American team than face those disappointments in the alley.
Sam: I don't like fighting a lot. Let's go, this place disgust me.
The three of them were about to walk away, when someone suddenly appeared from the shadows with his back turned on the girls.
Rosa: [With sparkles in her eyes] It's Kris you guys, What are you doing here Kris?
Kris: I'm here to ask the three of you if you would like to join my team in this year's tournament.
Rosa: I'm in. You can ask me anytime you want me to join your team and I will always agree.
Shiki: I'm in. I was starting to get bored anyways.
Sam: Just what I need to relax.
Kris: Meet me at the airport tomorrow early in the morning.
Shiki: We heard you loud and clear. Let's go get ready.
Kris just retreated into the shadows and got away from the three girls. The three girls looked at each other and smiled before walking towards their separate ways.
The three of them knew that they had to get ready for everything.
