[A few months later]
It has been a few months since the last tournament, almost everyone had moved on with their lives. Rosa was the one who was mostly affected by her sister's "death", she stayed with the Kusanagis and locked herself in the guest room. Rin was affected too, but she still continued training. Kris and Shin had married Kula and Kasumi and were on their honeymoon.
[At the Yasakani mansion]
Yasakani was in the dining room with Akiha, the two of them were having breakfast alone since Rin didn't want to join them and that made Yasakani worried about his twin's health. Rin hasn't eaten in these past few months.
Yasakani's hair had turned black once again. He wore a small black coat that barred his midriff revealing his rock hard abs and showed his chest with silver buttons underneath a black long trenchcoat with the Yasakani crest marked on the back, a pair of black pants with silver buttons on the rim of the sleeves, a large black belt with a silver buckle, black shoes and a black choker. He also always wear a silver ring on either of his ring fingers.
Akiha decorated her crimson hair with a white hairband. She wore a black shirt with the Yasakani clan crest marked on the back, with a red ribbon on the necktie and a black mini skirt with knee-high black lace-up boots.
Yasakani: I'm getting worried about Rin, she hasn't eaten for these past few months.
Akiha: I'm worried about her too. Let's go talk to her.
Yasakani: Right.
The two of them walked towards Rins's bedroom and knocked on the door, they received no reply. Yasakani opened the door and found Rin sitting on her Queen-size bed, she was very skinny due to not eating for months.
Rin wore a large-collared white shirt that barred her midriff underneath a long trenchcoat that had a large thinly white crescent moon crest marked on the back that represents the Yasakani clan, red pants, a large black belt with a gold buckle, a smaller black belt that hangs loose on the side of her hip, black shoes, black choker, and a necklace with a silver Yasakani crest as pendant.
Yasakani: Rin, come eat something. You haven't eaten anything in these past few months.
Rin was just blankly staring at the balcony.
Yasakani: Rin, how are you gonna destroy the Cartel if you can't even walk properly. Rose must be disappointed to see how pathetic you have become.
Akiha: Yasakani you're being...
Yasakani: She needs to hear this Akiha. Just look at her, I can barely recognize her. It's a good thing that Rose is dead, she could have died from disappointment if she saw how pathetic Rin is.
Rin got very angry, she got off her bed and punched Yasakani in the face with all her might and fell to the floor after landing the hit, the punch had no effect on Yasakani, who only looked at Rin with disappointment.
Yasakani: That punch didn't even tickle, you have become weak, Rin. How are you gonna avenge Rose if you can't even stand on your feet after landing a punch.
Rin just looked down in disappointment, she knew that her brother was right. She tried getting on her feet, but she was struggling.
Yasakani: How pitiful.
Yasakani grabbed her twin sister with one hand and picked her up before putting her on her bed.
Yasakani: You're coming with us to eat, I'm not taking no as an answer.
Rin refused, but Yasakani forcefully grabbed her by the neck and slammed her to the ground, making cry out in pain.
Akiha: What are you doing, Yasakani? You're hurting her.
Yasakani: I know. I'm just reminding her of something.
Yasakani looked at Rin who was in pain.
Yasakani: Do you remember this Rin?
Rin remembered when her father treated her like that. She made a vow that she wouldn't be weak and helpless once again.
Yasakani: Are you going to eat now?
Rin nodded her head and Yasakani carried her to the dining room where they had breakfast.
[Kusanagi mansion]
The Kusanagi family were in the dining room, having breakfast.
Kyo wore his XI outfit.
Ryoma wore wore a unzipped black motorcycle jacket with the Kusanagi crest marked on his back, white shirt with a black racing stripe, a pair of black jeans, brown shoes, and a long brown belt that hangs out from the side of his hip like a tail, and his iconic black fingerless gloves. Having the Kusanagi crest marked on each of the unzipped part of his jacket sleeves and a gold stripe each on a pair of fingerless biker gloves.
Shiki wore an unzipped dark blue motorcycle jacket with the Kusanagi crest marked on her back, white shirt with a dark blue racing stripe, a pair of dark blue jeans, brown shoes, and a long brown belt that hangs out from the side of her hip like a tail, and her fingerless gloves. Having the Kusanagi crest marked on each of the unzipped part of her jacket sleeves and a gold stripe each on a pair of dark blue fingerless biker gloves.
Saisyu and Shizuka were wearing their usual outfit.
Yuki wore a pink kimonowith small white pink cherry blossom patterns that run around her long, wide sleeves and the borders of her kimono's opening with the Kusanagi crest marked on the back.
Shizuka: Have you thought of a name for your unborn child, Kyo?
Kyo: Yes, if it's a girl, I'll name her Kyoko. If it's a boy, I'll name him, Syo.
Ryoma: Like the Kirishima idiot.
Saisyu: When are you even proposing?
Ryoma: You know... I'm gonna pretend like I didn't hear that.
Shizuka: Your little brother has gotten married and is gonna have a child, you on the other, you just like picking up fight but you're scared to propose to a girl.
Ryoma: Me, scared? I can propose to her whenever I want but I still have somethings that I have to do before I can get married.
Shizuka: Like what?
Ryoma: Like killing the 4 heavenly kings of Orochi before they can sacrifice Yuki to awaken The Orochi. Magaki still wants to destroy me for humiliating him in our first battle.
Shizuka: You're just making enemies. I know that you will protect Chizuru with your life.
Kyo: You'll even have to listen to her boring sermons.
Ryoma: Don't remind me of that. She kinda reminds me of Shin when we were on our journey. Me and Yasakani had to listen to his crap everytime.
Yuki: Shin is the politest person I had ever seen in my life and he is not as annoying as you guys think.
Shizuka saw that Shiki wasn't talking with with them or eating, she was blankly staring at her food.
Shizuka: Is everything alright Shiki?
Shiki: Yes, I'm not hungry.
Shizuka: Are you worried about your friend?
Shiki: Yes, she doesn't speak like she normally does. At least she is still eating unlike Rin. I'm afraid that she may commit suicide because her sister was the only family she had and now she's dead, Rosa doesn't have the will to live anymore.
Shizuka: It's hard for her, but you must give her time to cope with her sister's death.
Shiki: I'm gonna see how she's doing.
Shiki got off her seat and walked towards the guestroom where Rosa was sleeping in. She opened the door and found Rosa sitting on the bed while crying. Shiki walked towards her and hugged her.
Rosa wore pink komon kimono, with small white pink cherry blossom patterns that run around her long, wide sleeves and the borders of her kimono's opening. Over a gold yellow obi, she wears a pair of black hakama and white tabi.
Shiki: Everything is gonna be alright Rosa. You're sister wouldn't want to see you like this.
Rosa: I... Know... But she... Was the... Only...
Shiki: I know, I will always be here for you. Let's go train so that you can get strong and avenge your sister.
Rosa: Alright...
The two of them headed towards the training grounds to train.
[Kagura mansion]
Sam was in her bedroom. Her sister was on a business trip once again and her brother was on a honeymoon.
Sam wore a sleeveless sweater top, black bikers fingerless gloves, and baggy fatigued cargo pants that sag slightly and black combat boots.
Sam: (It's lonely here, I should have went with my sister on her business trip. I have to go to the Kusanagi mansion to see Rosa once again.)
Sam got off the bed and got out of her room before heading towards her destination.
[Shirayuki mansion]
Azalea and Leone were training together in the icy field with Icy looking at the two of them.
Leone wore blue sweatpants, with white strap-on shoes. Leone's blue and white track jacket is zipped up half way to see her black undershirt and midriff. She also has the sleeves rolled up, and sweatbands on her wrists.
Azalea wore a black mini dress with a matching choker. She wore a gold bracelet around her left wrist and a silver ring on her right. She also has black heels with ankle straps. Over the dress, she wears a short-sleeve white, frizzy coat.
Icy wore a black leather tank top, matching black leather tights, and a choker decorated with a crucifix.
Leone tried landing a left hook, but Azalea blocked it and tried delivering a spinning uppercut which Leone blocked before both girls landed punches in the face, sending each other sliding back. The two girls were gonna go at it again but Icy stopped them.
Icy: The two of you have improved. Take a break.
Azalea: I don't want to take any break. I still want to train.
Leone: Me too.
Icy: Okay, let's continue training.
Azalea/Leone: Right.
They began their training once again.
[A month later]
Yasakani and Akiha were returning home, they had gone on a date and were now going home. Someone suddenly leaped in front of them and Yasakani and Akiha were very shocked to see that person.
The figure was Iori, but he was different. He had white hair, he had darkened skin like he used to have when he is in his riot of the blood. He wore a black coat that looked similar to the one of his classic attire, but without the Yasakani crest on the back, a shorter white shirt underneath with his midriff exposed, white pants, a large black belt with a gold buckle, a smaller black belt that hangs loose on the side of his hip, black shoes with black buckles, a black choker, and a black necklace. The other thing Yasakani and Akiha noticed was that he had the black sun mark like the one the Orochi had.
He was just standing there. His body was hunched, arms hanging low, and harsh, ragged breaths exhaled with such a force, his mouth gave off literal steam. He then stood still and looked at Yasakani with a smirk.
Yasakani: Iori, is that you?
Iori: I am the new... Guuuh... And improved, Iori Yagami. HRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Akiha and Yasakani looked at Iori and saw him summon grey flames in his hands. Iori launched a huge pillar of grey flames towards Yasakani and Akiha. Yasakani pushed Akiha out of the way and was hit by the pillar, creating an explosion and sent him crashing into a wall.
Iori wasn't done with his assault. He launched 2 waves of grey flames that traveled across the ground towards Yasakani, burning him on contact before Iori launched a large wave of grey fire to the ground towards Yasakani, erupting into multiple huge grey fiery pillars that burned Yasakani repeatedly before Iori launched two more grey fire waves, increasing the intensity of the attack before Iori charged grey flames in his rear hand, then threw them out in a big wave, hitting Yasakani and creating an explosion. Yasakani was hidden by rocks after that attack.
Iori walked towards the rocks that Yasakani was hidden under. He brought Yasakani out of the rocks and picked him up with both hands and raised him into the air while chocking him. Yasakani opened his blue eye and looked at Iori in the eye.
Yasakani: How are you this strong?
Iori: As if I'd tell you. I'm gonna kill you right now.
Akiha: Iorin! Let go of Yasakani!
Iori looked at Akiha and grinned, Yasakani saw the look on Iori's face and tried releasing the grip, but to no avail. Iori threw Yasakani into a wall very hard, then he walked towards Akiha.
Iori: It's good to see you once again Akiha. You're coming with me.
Akiha: [Scared] Why are you doing this Iorin?
Yasakani struggled to get on his feet, but he got on his feet, glaring at Iori with her exposed blue eye.
Yasakani: Get away from her her, this is between me and you. Let's settle this right now.
Iori: [Chuckling] You're weak, it will be a boring fight to battle you while you're this pathetic and weak. I want you at your best when I kill you.
Iori appeared behind Akiha in an instant and knocked her out with a swift chop to the back of the neck before he put her on his shoulder.
Yasakani: What are you planning to do to her?
Iori: I'm gonna absorb her powers and kill her if you don't make it in time for our fight or when you lose the battle, then I will kill you.
Yasakani: She doesn't have anything to do with this, I am the one who treated you like a weakling.
Iori: I'm giving you 5 days to get strong. At Osaka, the crosswalk next to Neo Geo headquarters, the time that you treated me like a weakling. We are gonna have a death match.
Yasakani: Fine, if you wanna die very badly, who am I to refuse.
Iori: Then it's settled. Make no mistake, you're gonna die.
Yasakani: You're the one who is gonna die.
In a burst of grey flames, Iori disappeared along with Akiha, leaving a very wounded Yasakani. Yasakani decided to go to the Illusion to find Ryoma to ask him for a favor.
