[Before the XV tournament]
Three beautiful woman were in the forest, carrying backpack and walking towards an unknown location.
The first one is a busty [bustier than Mai Shiranui, Angel and Shermie, slender, curvy and beautiful woman of above-average height [The second tallest in the group] and pale complexion. She had long crimson hair that reaches down to her knees and red eyes, black pupils with black scleras. She wore a short black coat, a large thinly white crescent moon crest marked on the back that represents the Yasakani clan, a shorter white shirt underneath with her midriff exposed, exposing her toned abs, red pants, a large black belt with a gold buckle, a smaller black belt that hangs loose on the side of her hip, tan shoes with black buckles, a black choker, and a black necklace. Her name was Trinity Yasakani.
The second one is a busty [bustier than Mai Shiranui, Angel and Shermie but not on Rin's level, slender, curvy and beautiful woman of above-average height and fair complexion. She had long brown hair that reaches down to her knees and brown eyes. She wears a black jacket with white trimmings, a white shirt with a black hollowed cross, a pair of black jeans with the rim of the sleeves slightly torn, a pair of black fingerless biker gloves, a small chain that hangs from the back pocket to the belt area, and black shoes. She was Shiki Kusanagi.
The third one is a busty [bustier than Angel and Shermie, slender, curvy and beautiful woman of above-average height [the tallest girl in the group] and pale complexion. She had long raven black hair that reaches down to her knees and black eyes. She wears a black crop top exposing her midriff, sports a red bandana on her head, chains on the right side of her black capris jeans and finger-less gloves and wore dark gray boots. She was Samantha Kagura.
Sam: Rin, we have told you all about ourselves but you haven't told us anything about yourself.
Shiki: Yeah, I ran away from home to unleash my potential.
Sam: And I ran away from home to look for my brother.
Rin: I don't want to talk about it. It brings back bad memories.
Rin was a mysterious woman to her friends. The only thing they knew is that she was from the cursed Yagami clan.
As they were walking, they saw a mysterious man in the forest.
Sam: Isn't that Lin?
Rin: It's him.
Rin ran towards Lin and got in front of him in a blink of an eye, Samantha was the fastest in the group, but Rin gave her a run for her money. Lin looked at the woman in front of him.
Rin: Are you Lin?
Lin: Yes, what do you want?
Rin: I challenge you to a match.
Lin: I accept.
The two of them got in their respective fighting stances.
Lin stabbed his hand into the ground and had it appear underneath Rins's feet, but she dodged the attack by jumping into the air and landed on the ground before stepping forward for an axe kick with her rear leg, which Lin dodged.
Lin spun his head to hit Rin with his ponytail, but she caught the ponytail and pulled Lin towards her and grabbed Lin by his neck and lifted him into the air before slashing his throat before throwing him to the ground behind her.
Lin got on his feet and raised his arms before slamming them down, creating a small shockwave, which Rin avoided.
Lin reeled back his fist before he tried punching Rin, but she blocked the punch before Lin tried delivering an uppercut, which Rin blocked too before Lin quickly moved towards Rin before he tried delivering a palm strike Rin's body, who blocked the palm strike before she struck Lin with her rear hand, then her front, and finished with an upward claw that launched Lin into the air.
Lin landed on his feet and rapidly tried jabbing Rin repeatedly over and over again, but she countered with her own jabs, which were faster than Lin's and repeatedly jabbed him over and over again, ending with an upward claw that launched Lin into the air.
Lin quickly moved towards Rin, moving so fast that he disappeared before stopping in front of Rin and lifted down his mask before breathing a cloud of poison at Rin, who avoided the cloud of poison by ducking and grabbed Lin by his neck, then slammed Lin hard onto the ground in which he bounced into the air before she hit Lin with an upward claw attack that extended from her hand.
Lin got on his feet and leaped towards Rin before he tried rapidly kicking down at Rin, who blocked all the kicks before Lin tried delivering a high kick to Rin's head, but she blocked the kick too.
Lin walked towards Rin before disappearing and appearing behind Rin and tried cutting Rin's throat with his arm, but she caught the hand and swung her arm around and slashed Lin's stomach with her hands before she reached up and slashed Lin with her hands.
Lin repeatedly and rapidly punched and kicked Rin before delivering a powerful palm strike. Rin got on her feet and raised her arms into the air and did a familiar pose that shocked Lin.
Rin: Shinde Kudasai!
Rin rushed towards Lin and repeatedly hit him with a vicious flurry of claws scratches before she dug her nails into Lin's stomach, then clawed upwards, launching him.
Lin got on his feet and rapidly tried punching Rin over and over again so fast that it appeared that he had multiple arms, but Rin countered with her own rapid punches that it appeared that she had multiple arms and overpowered Lin, punching him rapidly and punched him one last time in the face, launching him.
Rin suddenly coughed blood and Sam and Shiki looked at her with worried expressions on their faces.
Sam: It's her blood rage. She is gonna kill us if she doesn't suppress it.
Shiki: I can stop her.
Sam: You only got lucky last time.
Rin tried suppressing her blood rage, but Lin didn't give her a chance and punched her which turned out to be a big mistake because after getting hit, Rin grabbed Lin by his head, then slammed him to the ground very viciously and lifted Linin the air akin to a cross-chokehold and nearly ripped him apart her in an X-shaped motion. Lin was revealed to be defeated after the attack. Rin got on her knees, she felt very tired. She managed to suppress her blood rage before she could kill Lin.
Rin: I'm really sorry for that Mr Lin.
Lin: It's fine, you defeated me fair and square.
Rin: I hope we meet again.
Lin: Me too.
Rin, Sam, and Shiki started walking away.
Shiki: So did you enjoy yourself?
Rin: No, he wasn't a match for me. It's getting stronger and stronger everyday.
Sam: I hope you can control it one day.
Rin: I hope so.
The three of them walked for a few miles before they decided to rest under a tree. The three of them sat down under a tree.
Sam: So will you tell us all about your childhood, Shiki.
Shiki: Right, I was born with a twin of mine, Ryoma Kusanagi. When the two of us learned to walk, our father started training us. Ryoma learned 402 Shiki: Batsuyomi, 108 Shiki: Yamibarai, 100 Shiki: Oniyaki, 101 Shiki: Oboroguruma, 910 Shiki: Nuetsumi, Genshiki: Ryuu Iri, 212 Shiki: Kototsuki Yo, Genshiki: Tora Fuse, 75 Shiki: Kai, 100 Shiki: Nataguruma, and Ge-Shiki Tsurubeotoshi on his first try. Some of those moves didn't match my style, I liked delivering chain punches so I learned other moves, I instead focused on two of the clan's other techniques, the 114 Shiki: Aragami and 115 Shiki: Dokugami, both of which serves as the start of my Rekka moves. However, i added varying amount of original follow-up techniques from these moves that range from kicks-to-elbow dropping attacks.
Sam: Will you tell us about the techniques you learned.
Shiki: I learned 114 Shiki: Aragami, 128 Shiki: Konokizu, 125 Shiki: Nanase, 127 Shiki: Yanosabi, Geshiki: Migari Ugachi, 115 Shiki: Dokugami, 401 Shiki: Tsumiyomi, 402 Shiki: Batsuyomi, 100 Shiki: Oniyaki, 75 Shiki: Kai, R.E.D. Kick, 427 Shiki: Hikigane, 427 Shiki: Shin Ken, and 702 Shiki: En Jou, unlike my twin, it took me 5 tries to master them. Our father made us fight against each other to prove who was the strongest one between us.

Kusanagi clan training grounds.
A 4 years old Shiki, who had shoulder length hair and Ryoma were on the opposite sides of each other in different fighting stances.
Shiki wore a purple kimono robe with an eclipsed sun crest on the back of the kimono,
wooden slippers with white socks, she also wore uniquely designed black fingerless gloves. Each of her gloves were cut at the length of her wrists, with a single gold stripe marked around the areas of her palms, and an eclipsed sun crest near the area of her wrist.
Ryoma wore an unbuttoned black coat with the sleeves rolled up to his biceps and a vest, each with gold buttons, a tucked-in white shirt, black pants, a brown/gold belt and white buckled shoes. He wore a large white headband to compliment this attire, along with a pair of his uniquely designed black fingerless gloves. Each of his glove's cut extends to midway of his forearms, with a single gold stripe marked around the areas of his palms, another gold stripe added near the end of the cut, and an eclipsed sun crest near the area of his wrist. The sun crest is best known to represent the Kusanagi clan, which it also marked on the back of his coat.
Saisyu: Begin the fight.
Shiki jumped high into the air before she tried landing with a kick to Ryoma's head, but Ryoma uppercutted Shiki which sent Shiki flying away.
Shiki landed on her feet and spun around before she tried punching Ryoma and made an explosion occurs where she punched, but Ryoma blocked Shiki's attack before countering her by elbowing her on the chest which created an explosion.

Ryoma jumped into the air and as he fell back down, he tried slamming his fist into Shiki's head, but she crouched down and kicked Ryoma on his legs twice. Ryoma got on his feet and Shiki kicked Ryoma on the chin before bringing her leg down and hit Ryoma on his head, slamming him to the ground.
Ryoma got on his feet and ran forward and punched Shiki before he grabbed her by her neck before making an explosion of flames appear from his hand, harming Shiki. Ryoma then ran at Shiki, grabbed her by the neck, then made a fiery explosion. Shiki got on her feet, she was very wounded, but she wouldn't give up.
Shiki leaped forward and shoulder tackled Ryoma before delivering a flaming uppercut to Ryoma's face, followed up by jumping with her arms out, shrouded in flames, burning Ryoma on contact.
Ryoma got on his feet and jumped into the air and as he fell back down, he tried slamming his fists into Shiki's head, but she punched forward with her following arm for a fire-laced body-blow hook, launching Ryoma away from her.
Ryoma got on his feet and rushed at Shiki and delivered two high kicks to Shiki, followed up by jumping with his arms out, shrouded in flames, burning Shiki on contact before Ryoma jumped forward and kicked Shiki away before dashing towards her and kicked her again before flipping and kicked her to the ground.
Shiki got on her feet and delivered two high kicks to Ryoma, then she uppercutted Ryoma with a fiery explosion before she jumped high into the air before landing with a kick to Ryoma's head, sending him crashing to the ground.
Ryoma got on his feet and shoulder tackled Shiki into the air before leaping into the air and swung his back leg around for an overhead kick while she was in the air, sending her crashing to the ground. Shiki got on her feet, she was almost out of energy, she looked at Ryoma and saw that he was the same too.
Shiki stepped forward and punched Ryoma and made an explosion occurring where she punched, followed up by delivering an uppercut which created an explosion that sent Ryoma flying, then Shiki elbowed Ryoma down which created an explosion that slammed Ryoma to the floor before Shiki punched Ryoma as he laid on the ground, creating an explosion when her fist hit Ryoma.
Ryoma got on his feet and did a short hop and swung his back leg around for an overhead kick which hit Shiki's head. Shiki got on her feet and spun around before punching Ryoma and made an explosion occur where she punched, followed up by delivering a one-inch punch Ryoma's stomach that caused an explosion before Shiki uppercutted Ryoma and sent him flying with an explosion.
Ryoma got on his feet and took a step while raising his arm up before he tried slamming it down on Shiki when he finished stepping, but she dodged and delivered a powerful punch to Ryoma's chin, which stunned him before Shiki turned around and delivered an even more powerful punch to Ryoma's chin that sent Ryoma flying into the air and crashed to the ground very hard. Ryoma got on his shaky feet, he knew that if Shiki land one final attack, it will decide the fight. Shiki knew that she needed to get closer to Ryoma to land one final blow, but she couldn't risk getting hit by one of Ryoma's attack, because it would decide the fight.
Shiki leaped towards Ryoma, but unknown to her, she fell right into a trap. Because once she landed in front of Ryoma, he created a fire wave that traveled across the ground towards Shiki and burned her on contact.
Shiki fell to the ground defeated, she got on her feet, only to fall on her back.
Saisyu: Ryoma wins.
Saisyu walked away with Ryoma who followed him behind. Shiki just laid on the ground, she managed to get on her feet and decided to go home. When she got home, she saw her mother, Shizuka Kusanagi looking after the baby Kyo, who was sleeping. Shizuka saw her wounded daughter and nursed her. The two of them now sat on the couches.
Shiki: Mommy, doesn't daddy love me?
Shizuka: No, he loves you. What makes you think that.
Shiki: He spend more time with Ryoma and spends less time with me. He left me in the training grounds after my battle with Ryoma.
Shizuka: He is just preparing your brother for the future. How about I teach you how to use a naginata.
Shiki: I'm fine, my fists are hot like the raging flames of the sun. I need to learn how to control my flames without the gloves, Ryoma can control his flames without his gloves, but he still uses those gloves to suppress the heat of his flames. So thanks for the offer, but I have to reject it.
Shizuka: You have a heart of a warrior. I want you to wield a naginata so that you can be a better Naginata-jutsu practitioner than me.
Shiki: I'll do it, I want to be Naginata-jutsu practitioner just like you.
Shizuka: You're training will begin tommorow.

Shiki: Since that day, I have been training with my mother, that's why I like using my naginata a lot. I still trained with my father and when me and my brother turned 5 years old, we had already learned all the techniques we didn't learn. We were taught how to use the secret techniques.
Sam: Like the Orochinagi.
Shiki: Yes. My brother learned the Ura 108 Shiki: Orochinagi, Chou Yami Barai, Dokugami Tumiyomi Batsuyomi Oniyaki, Saishuu Kessen Ougi "Mu-Shiki", Ura 121 Shiki: Ama no Murakumo, Ura 1127 Shiki: Yaegaki, Ura 1212 Shiki: Yakumo, 1999 Shiki: Kiri Honoo, Akaitenharai, Tenha Noma Zan, Mushiki, Futsu no Mitama, Sanjingi no Ichi, and Hi no Kagutsuchi on his first try and mastered them in a day. I learned 182 Shiki, Dokugami Tumiyomi Batsuyomi Oniyaki, Ura 108 Shiki: Orochinagi, 524 Shiki Kamichiri, Saishuu Kessen Ougi "Mu-Shiki", Saishuu Kessen Hiougi "Totsuka", Ura 121 Shiki: Ama no Murakumo, Ura 1212 Shiki: Yakumo, 524 Shiki Kamijiri, 521 Shiki Kamikura, 1207 Shiki To Bou Gai, 1999 Shiki: Kiri Honoo, and Sanjingi no Ichi.
Sam: What happened then.
Shiki: At the age of 11, we managed to defeat our father and when we turned 16, my twin had to go to a journey. I can still remember that day.

Outside the Kusanagi mansion
Ryoma, now 16 years old was saying goodbye to his family.
Ryoma wore an unzipped black motorcycle jacket with silver metal studs with the Kusanagi crest marked on the back, blue jeans, black shoes, a regular sized belt with a large silver buckle. He also had a small chain that hangs from the back pocket to the belt area, and a pair of his uniquely designed black fingerless gloves, though only the single stripe at his hand area are visible, while the Kusanagi crests are hidden in his sleeves.
Shiki wore a black racer jacket with the Kusanagi crest marked on the back, white shirt, a pair of dark green jeans, brown shoes, and a long brown belt that hangs out from the side of her hip like a tail. She wore a pair of her uniquely designed black fingerless gloves, though only the single stripe at her hand area are visible, while the Kusanagi crests are hidden in her sleeves.
Kyo wore his classic outfit.
Ryoma: I guess I have to get going guys. We will after many years.
Saisyu: Don't slack off on your journey, remember to train everyday.
Kyo: Don't forget about me brother. I'll make you proud by taking over your job as the bearer of the Kusanagi sword.
Ryoma: I know that you'll make me proud, I'll always remember you.
Shizuka: Remember to always take care of yourself.
Ryoma: I will do so mom.
Then Ryoma looked at Shiki who was ignoring him.
Ryoma: Aren't you gonna say something Shiki?
Shiki: Farewell you clumsy fool.
Ryoma: You have changed a lot. You were always a nice girl, but now you're a rude person.
Shiki: I don't see a problem with it. Just focus on your journey to become a loser.
Ryoma just sighed and took his backpack and turned around before walking away.

Shiki: I regret being rude on him. But that was the old me. After two weeks I ran away from home to begin my journey.
Sam: At least we don't have to see that mean side of you again. You were always mean to Rin and I, but Rin always have you a beating.
Shiki: Don't remind me of my past. Tell us more about your childhood.
Sam: I was born with a twin named Shin Kagura. At the age of 4, he learned how to use the Sanjingi no San, shocking everyone in the clan. They decided to train him and at the age of 5, he had already learned how to use all the Yata clan's techniques and learned how to use energy barriers, energy weapons and many others. I trained too and mastered all the clan's techniques and learned how to use my powers to create energy barriers, energy weapons, and many more. My brother managed to defeat our mother at the age of 5, he was very strong for a boy his age. We also had little twin sisters, Maki and Chizuru. When Shin turned 16 years old, he had to go on his journey to get powerful. While he was gone, our mother died from a Heart disease and after a year I ran away from home to look for my brother, but I'm so glad to have met you guys.
Shiki: What about you Rin.
Rin: I'm not gonna say anything.
Sam: Why are your eyes like that?
Rin: I was born with them like this.
Sam: Will you tell us about your childhood?
Rin: No.
Shiki: Please, Rin. We want to know more about you.
Rin: Fine. I was born with a twin named Yasakani, when we were born, our mother didn't die from the Orochi curse. My brothers flames had awakened since he was born. When we learned to walk, our father trained us, he taught my brother how to use his flame and taught me how to use Yasakani-ryū Kobujutsu. My brother learned moves like Sakahagi, 108 Shiki Yami Barai, 100 Shiki Oniyaki, 127 Shiki Aoibana, 212 Shiki Kototsuki In, Kuzukaze, 311 Shiki Tsumakushi, Kin 1211 Shiki Yaotome, and Ura 1029 Shiki: Homurahotogi. I didn't know how to use my flames and I learned moves like 104 Shiki: Nueuchi, 401 Shiki: Shogetsu, 119 Shiki: Akegarasu, 203 Shiki: Tsuchitsubaki, Kanyarai, 127 Shiki: Aoibana, Kuzukaze, Saka Sakahagi, Kin 1211 Shiki: Yaotome, and Kin 1218 Shiki: Yatagarasu. I can still remember our fight.

A 4 years old Yasakani and Rin who her hair reached her back with their father who looked like Yasakani, but had black hair.
Yasakani wore a white unbuttoned ring-printed shirt, a blue printed tank top, black pants, white belt with a large silver buckle, black buckled shoes, and two necklaces with one of them having a black Yasakani crest as a pendant.
Rin decorated her crimson hair with a white hairband. She wore a black shirt with the Yasakani clan crest marked on the back, with a red ribbon on the necktie and a short black skirt with knee-high black lace-up boots.
Magai: Fight.
Rin and Yasakani charged at each other, Rin stepped forward for an axe kick with her rear leg, but Yasakani blocked the kick and swung his front arm down for a hammer punch, but Rin blocked it before kicking Yasakani away from her.
Yasakani charged at Rin and tried grabbing her by the face, but she caught his hand and grabbed Yasakani and threw him behind her before she lifted Yasakani by his neck, then slammed him down behind her.
Yasakani got on his feet and tried swiping at Rin with his rear hand, but she dodged before Yasakani did a quick jab, which Rin caught and jumped forward with a claw attack, forcefully hitting Yasakani into ground, then she grabbed him by the neck and slammed him to the ground behind her.
Yasakani got on his feet and slammed Rin into the ground, then grabbed her by the collar and slammed her to the ground very hard that she bounced into the air and Yasakani jumped with his arms out, shrouded in purple flames, burning Rin upon contact.
Rin got on her feet and grabbed Yasakani by his head and slammed him to the ground before picking him up, choking him with both hands. Yasakani was struggling to break the grip, he knew if he doesn't do anything, he will eventually pass out due to the lack of air. Rin was faster and stronger than him, so he had to come with a plan. He kneed Rin in the face, stunning her and making her drop him.
Yasakani charged at Rin, grabbed her by the face and slammed her to the ground before causing an explosion. Rin got on her feet and hit Yasakani with a clawing attack while sliding forwards before she hit Yasakani with a claw attack that launched him, then Rin grabbed Yasakani by his neck, then slammed Yasakani hard onto the ground in which he bounced into the air before Rin hit Yasakani with an upward claw attack that extended from her hand.
Yasakani got on his feet and went into a frenzy, then jumped at Rin to slammed her head into the ground before picking her up, choking her with both hands in a cross-chokehold and slashed her in an X-shaped motion.
Rin got on her feet and grabbed Yasakani by his neck and slammed him to the ground behind her before she got on top of Yasakani and started punching him in the face repeatedly, Yasakani caught one of her punches and pulled her towards him before he headbutted her, stunning her before he punched her off of him.
Yasakani hopped and took a big flaming swipe downward, hitting Rin before he struck Rin with his rear hand, then his front, and finished with a double axe-handle punch, then he dug his nails into Rin's stomach, then clawed upwards, launching her before Yasakani created a purple fire wave that traveled across the floor towards Rin and burned her on contact.
Rin got on her feet and struck Yasakani with her rear hand, then her front, and finished with an upward claw, sending Yasakani crashing to the ground. Yasakani got on his feet andRun dashed forward and swung her arm and slashed Yasakani with her hands, then Rin swung her arm around and slashed Yasakani's stomach with her hands, launching him into the air before Rin reached up and slashed Yasakani with her hands, sending him crashing into the ground.
Yasakani got on his feet, he was tired. Rin was tired too, but not like Yasakani. Yasakani dashed towards Rin and slashed her with a flaming claw, paralyzing her upon contact. Rin tried moving, but she couldn't.
Rin: What have you done to me?
Yasakani: I have used my flames to paralyze you. The purple flame has the sacred ability to put someone in a stasis-like state.
Rin: It's unfair that you can use your flames while I can't.
Yasakani: You will soon awaken your flames.
Yasakani raised his hands in the air and did a familiar pose.
Yasakani: Eien ni!
Yasakani rushed towards Rin and attacked Rin 14 times with a series of punches and claw swipes, ending with grabbing Rin with a Hikiri Kine and exploded her with multiple burst of purple flames before one final burst of the Hikiri Kine that launched Rin away.
Rin got on her feet and charged at Yasakani before landing a powerful punch to the face, stunning him. Then Rin raised her hands to the air and did a familiar pose.
Rin: Shinde Kudasai!
Rin rushed towards Yasakani and attacked Yasakani 12 times with a series of punches and claw swipes, ending by lifting Yasakani in the air akin to a cross-chokehold and dug her claws in Yasakani's neck and nearly ripped him apart her in an X-shaped motion. Yasakani got on his shaky feet, he had one move to finish the fight because his Maiden masher didn't finish the job. Rin groaned when she saw Yasakani get on his feet, she didn't want to use one of her deadly move on him.
Yasakani got into a frenzy with purple flames in both hands, He knew that he hasn't mastered the Homurahotogi, but he didn't have any choice. Rin put her claw on the ground and clenched her claws, the Yatagarasu was a difficult move but she mastered it.
Rin ran at Yasakani while dragging her claws on the ground, Yasakani jumped at Rin, who hit him with a powerful massive upward slice, eviscerating Yasakani. Yasakani fought through the pain and slammed Rin's head into the ground, creating a large pillar of purple flames that burned her.
Yasakani and Rin were on the ground on their back. Yasakani got on his feet, but he fell to his knees, Rin got on her feet, but she fell on her back. Yasakani got on his feet and Rin just remained on her back.
Magai: Yasakani wins.
Yasakani helped Rin get on her feet, then the two of them walked to their father.
Yasakani: Father, can we go to mother?
Magai: You can go, but you two are gonna wake up early tomorrow and train.
Rin: Yes, father.
The two of them walked away, leaving their father behind.
[Flashback end]
Rin: He got lucky in our fight. We still continued training, when I turned five years old, my flames awakened, and they hurt me. That's the reason why I don't like using those flames.
Sam: If you had a happy life why don't you want to talk about your childhood.
Rin: The happiness didn't last long. When our little brother was born, our mother died from the Orochi curse. Before she died, she told us to look after Iori. Our father continued training us, but this time he beat us to an inch of our lives.

Yasakani and Rin who were 5 years old were on the ground very bloodied.
Rin's hair now reached her waist. She decorated her crimson hair with a white hairband. She wore a black shirt, a large thinly white crescent moon crest marked on the back that represents the Yasakani clan, with a red ribbon on the necktie and a long red skirt, black shoes with knee-high white socks underneath.
Yasakani's hair was slightly longer (Like Element). He wore a black sleeveless jacket with the Yasakani crest marked on the back, black short sleeves shirt, black jeans, and black sneakers.
Magai: Stand up you two. Your training is not over yet.
Rin: But we are very tired father. We should rest and continue training tomorrow.
Magai picked his daughter up with one hand, chocking her. Rin was gasping for air, she was gonna lose consciousness anytime. Yasakani rushed at his father and tried punching him, but Magai kicked Yasakani away. Magai then viciously slammed Rin to the ground, they heard a crack as one of Rin's bone broke.
Yasakani charged at Magai and tried stabbing him with his hands, but Magai caught the hand and threw Yasakani to the ground before he started beating up his own son very vicious with Rin looking at the scene very helpless.
25 minutes later
Yasakani was now laying in a pool of his own blood, his father has beaten him for the entire 25 minutes, his eye that was not hidden by his front bang was bruised. He glared at the retreating form of his father, he got on his feet and walked towards Rin, who was on her knees crying.
Yasakani: Rin, are you okay?
Rin looked at her brother and continued crying, Yasakani picked her up bridal style and walked away with her.
[Flashback end]
Rin: Me and my brother took a month to heal, after we got healed, our father continued to beat us up. Yasakani took the worst beating than me, we looked after our little brother and when we turned 6 years old, I had enough.
Shiki: What did you do?
Rin: I ran away from home.
[Flashback]
Rin who was now 6 years old was sitting on her queen-size bed, she was tired of the beating her father gave her.
Rin wore a zipped up red and black track jacket with blue trimmings. Her red sweatpants were pulled up to her knees. She wears black sneakers with no socks.
She got out of her room and headed towards Yasakani's room, when she got inside, she found him sitting on his king-size bed with the baby Iori sleeping. Yasakani looked at Rin with curiosity.
Yasakani: Rin, what are you planning to do?
Rin: I'm running away from home. Dad has changed a lot.
Yasakani: But what about the promise we made to mom?
Rin: To look after Iori. Please look after him, but I'm tired of the way that we are being treated. Goodbye Yasakani.
Yasakani: I will look after Iori. Goodbye Rin.
Rin kissed Iori on the forehead and rushed towards her room. When she got in her room, she opened the window before jumping out, she ran towards the gate and leaped into the air, leaping over the gate and started running away. When she was miles away, she heard cars coming after her but she ran away.
13 hours later
Rin was unconscious in front of a random house. She had ran away from her father's mercenaries and even killed some of them. She managed to escape them and fell unconscious in front of a random house. An old man opened the door and gasped in surprise when he saw Rin.
The old man rushed towards Rin and checked her pulse, he sighed in relief when he found out that she was alive. Rin regained consciousness, she saw the old man and got scared.
Rin: Are you one of my father's men?
Old man: I don't know who your father is, but I'm not one of his men.
Rin: Where am I?
Old man: You're at a safe place, let's get you healed up.
The old man carried Rin and walked with her inside his home.
[Flashback end]
Rin: The old man took me in and looked after me. I lived happily with the old man and I still continued training. My brother and younger brother were trained and beaten up very badly. Yasakani knew where I lived and sent me letters everyday. When I turned 8 years old, I learned that I had a younger sister.
Shiki: Your mother died, how can you have a sister.
Rin: My father raped our Aunt and that resulted with her being pregnant. When the baby was born, she died from the Orochi curse. When I turned 10 years old, I was very sick, I kept on coughing blood, then felt my blood boil and I couldn't see. The old man came in my bedroom and everything turned red after that.
[Flashback]
Rin was in the living room, she didn't feel sick anymore. She opened her cursed crimson eyes and didn't notice the condition of the living room.
She decorated her crimson hair with a white hairband. She wore a black shirt, a large thinly white crescent moon crest marked on the back that represents the Yasakani clan, with a red ribbon on the necktie and a long red skirt, black shoes with knee-high white socks underneath.
Rin groaned as she pushed her forearm into the floor, pushing her body up. It was a lot strenuous than she thought and her head was hurting a lot. She closed her eyes in an attempt to reduce the pain. It felt sluggish and painful to get up, which was probably from what has transpired when she was unconscious.
She couldn't help but notice that as she raised her body from the floor, her arms seemed to stick to it a little. This kind of stickiness was a little different, and it, for some reason, went up to some of her arm, stopping just at her elbow.
She managed to get herself in a sitting position as she finally managed to put herself up and slumped onto her tailbone.
She smelled a metallic smell and it grew even worse when she rubbed her temple with her hand, and it seemed even foul now, it almost made her want to throw up.
Deciding to crack open just one eye, she stared at the hand she had just placed on her temple.
The hand was deep crimson even her nails, she saw that it was some kind of liquid. She then noticed the gap between her fingers. She could tell that she was in the living room, but something was different. She couldn't tell what it was due to her hand covering the rest of her vision.
She pulled away her hand and immediately regretted doing so. The she identified as metallic, was identified in all it's gruesome fashion. The area around her could only be described as... Unbelievable horror.
In every direction that Rin turned, she saw that horrid liquid, Blood.
Staining the floor, trailing up the wall, and dripping from the wall onto the floor with a sickening thud.
It was then she noticed something on the ground. Her heart suddenly stopped when she realised what it was. It was the old man that took her in...
He had a massive hole through his chest, the terrible crimson liquid spewed from the place where he once had a right arm, oozing to the floor below and stained it red. His skin couldn't withstand the pressure obviouslsy, and was split open like a banana skin, revealing his uncovered muscles, veins, and lots of stuff that Rin didn't know of. She then found herself looking at his head, or lack of one. His skull had been cleanly cut off in a diagonal slash, it seemed. It was almost like it was done with some kind of claws.
She saw his head a few feet away, he had a complete look of terror, as if, before he died, he had been staring at something that was probably fear incarnate.
Rin broke down crying, the only person who cared about her died. She remembered the stories about the legendary riot of the blood. She realised that she was the one who killed the old man.
Rin: Grandpa... I'm sorry... For... Doing this... To you. Please... Forgive me.
Rin cried her heart out.
[Flashback end]
Rin: I killed him. It wasn't me, but these claws of mine are responsible for taking his life away.
Rin got up and ran away from her friends. It always hurt her when she spoke about her life. Shiki and Sam were surprised.
Shiki: Should we go after her?
Sam: No, this is something only she can solve.
Shiki: I hope you're right. What should we do?
Sam: We should just sleep, so that we can get ready to continue our journey tommorow.
Shiki: Right.
The two of them slept under the stars.
