Chapter 6: Sarah's Birthday Celebration at Monroeville Mall

The next day, I met up with Sarah, James, and Henri, as well as some of my other best friends, Alex Russo, Justin Evans, and Max Greenwald at Monroeville Mall for Sarah's 33rd birthday celebration. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. We jammed out to 98 Degrees and Lizzo while playing games at StarCade and Ace's Breakaway Arcade, as well as Go! Toys and Games and birthday presents at Claire's. "You will never guess what I got you for a birthday present, Sarah," Alex stated. "Is it another music CD, Alex?" Sarah asked. "You'll see," Alex replied. "I like having 2 birthday parties in 1 week- first at Denunzio's on Wednesday, and then at the mall today," Sarah stated. Sarah was also wearing the birthday pin that I once wore for my 30th birthday. "The magic of Christmas is so special, Justin," James happily stated. "Of course it is, James," Justin agreed. "My favorite Christmas was when we sat around at a Christmas tree opening presents and eating a special dinner," James remembered. "We should definitely do the potluck again in Trafford next year!" "Sure, that would be fun," Justin agreed. "I am excited to have spaghetti for dinner, Max," Henri replied, licking his lips. "Me too, Henri," Max agreed. "I liked the pasta and rolls from my senior banquet best!" "We are also thinking about ordering fried chicken for our Christmas party like we did for the picnic this spring," Max stated. "Did you eat Quick-n-Chicken before?" "Of course, and it is considered to be the best fried chicken in Pittsburgh!" Henri happily exclaimed, licking his lips. Sarah got a top Latin hits from each decade CD from Alex from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. Then, we had a special cookie cake from TCBY for Sarah's birthday dessert. Pretty soon, it was time for all of us to head home. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
