At a stadium
A lot of people were at the stadium to watch who are the best couple in the world. The fighters who weren't participating were in the stands to watch the battles.
The 10 couples who were participating were standing in the arena, waiting to be introduced to the crowd by the announcer.
Announcer: It's time to introduce the couples. First we have one of the winners of the KOF 99 tournament, Shingo Yabuki and his partner, The taekwondo student, May Lee Jinju.
Shingo and May Lee waved at the crowd, who cheered very loudly at them.

The crowd cheered very loudly at them, but mostly males, as Azalea had bigger bust than Angel and Mai Shiranui and the outfit that Angel wore didn't help much.

Kula waved at the crowd while Kris was as stoic as ever, the crowd were cheering at the cutest couple.

The crowd cheered very loudly at the powerful couple that they have ever seen. Akiha started giggling and Yasakani touched her on too of head and Akiha turned around, annoyed of her brother and lover.
Announcer: LASTLY, WE HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND POWERFUL COUPLE. THE WINNER OF THE KOF XIII, NEO BLOOD, HOWLING BLOOD, MEMORIAL 1, MEMORIAL 2, NEO GEO BATTLE COLISEUM, XIV AND XV, THE FAMOUS IDOL AND THE NO.1 HANDSOME MAN IN THE WORLD, ASHURA AND HIS PARTNER, THE PSYCHIC PRODIGY AND THE FAMOUS POP IDOL, ATHENA ASAMIYA!
Athena and Ashura held each others hand and waved at the crowd, that cheered on the greatest couple they had ever see.
Announcer: Here are the rules, a couple will fight their opponents simultaneously and will win when they knock out both of their opponents. The winners of the tournament will fight the host of the tournament. LET THE KOF FOR COUPLES BEGIN!
Everyone looked at the screen to see the matchups, they went like this:
Iori and Leona vs Shingo and May Lee.
Azalea and Angel vs Robert and Yuri.
Kris and Kula vs Ryo and King.
Yasakani and Akiha vs Terry and Blue Mary.
Ashura and Athena vs Sie Kensou and Li Xiangfei.
[Round 1: Iori and Leona vs Shingo and May Lee]
Leona and Iori were on the opposite side of Shingo and May Lee.
Shingo: Hey, Iori. Nice to see you again after a long time, dude.
Iori: Enough with the talk, let's begin right away.
May Lee: In the name of justice, we will defeat you.
Leona: Begining mission.
Announcer: GO!
Leona unclipped one of her earrings, then threw it at May Lee and Iori threw a purple fiery projectile that ran across the floor. When the earring was near May Lee and Shingo, it collided with the purple fiery projectile, creating an explosion, but May Lee and Shingo managed to jump far away just in time.
Shingo and May Lee charged at Iori and Leona, Shingo tried delivering a leaping kick to Iori's head, while May Lee quickly leaped forward before she tried delivering a kick to Leona, but Iori caught Shingo and Leona caught May Lee by the head.
Iori leaned in with his rear hand then clutched Shingo. He then pulled him to the other side of himself. Doing this left him in a briefly stunned state, while Leona swung May Lee around behind her. Iori caught May Lee in a DDT and Leona jumped up, spun around and slammed her front heel atop Shingo, sending him crashing into the ground.
Shingo and May Lee got on their feet. Shingo delivered a powerful shoulder tackle to Iori's body, followed up by delivering two right hooks before he spun around and punched and elbowed Iori before delivering a rising spin attack, ending off by repeatedly delivering multiple dropkicks and carried them higher and higher into the air with each kick before delivering one more powerful kick, sending Iori crashing down to the ground.
May Lee flipped towards Leona and caught her foot on Leona's body before flipping and delivering a powerful kick that sent her flying, followed up by leaping into the air and dashed towards Leona before she started to repeatedly kick and punch her before delivering a powerful double palm strike them May Lee kicked Leona into the air before leaping after her and kicked her to the ground and punched her up into the air with an uppercut before May Lee leaped into the air and repeatedly fired down energy projectiles onto Leona which caused Leona to explode a few seconds later, May Lee then slapped Leona before leaping backwards and delivered a dive kick which caused Leona to explode a few seconds later.
Iori and Leona got on their feet. Leona ran forward and slashed May Lee with her rear arm before she jumped and swung her front leg up in a circle, slashing May Lee with cutting energy, then Leona grabbed May Lee's head before cross-chopping her from above with a cross-shaped projectile.
Iori hit Shingo a clawing attack while sliding forward before he hit Shingo with a claw attack that launched him, followed up by hitting Shingo with an upward claw attack that extended from his hand before Iori caught Shingo by his neck, then slammed Shingo hard onto the ground in which he bounced into the air, then Iori jumped into the air with his arms out, spinning around repeatedly and hitting Shingo before he slammed his fist on Shingo, sending him crashing into the ground.
Shingo and May Lee got on their feet. Shingo rushed at Iori and grabbed him before delivering multiple powerful punches before checking his book on how he finishes and delivered a rising spin attack. May Lee slapped Leona before forming an exact duplicate of herself to slide across the floor and kicked Leona into the air before the two leaped up and delivered a dive kick which caused Leona to explode a few seconds later.
Iori was the first one to get on his feet and Shingo hit him with a powerful left hook, stunning him. Leona got on his feet and was gonna help Iori but May Lee kicked her away.
May Lee: Shingo, the combo.
Shingo: Right.
May Lee leaped into the air and dashed towards Leona while Shingo rushed towards Leona. May Lee started to repeatedly kick and punch Leona while Shingo delivered right hooks, punches, and elbows behind Leona, then May Lee stopped attacking and Shingo delivered a powerful shoulder tackle to Leona's body from behind before May Lee delivered a powerful palm strike, then the two of them delivered powerful punches.
Shingo delivered multiple dropkicks and carried them higher and higher into the air with each kick before delivering one more powerful kick that sent Leona towards May Lee, May Lee leap up and delivered a dive kick which caused Leona to explode a few seconds later. Leona got on her feet after the attack, shocking Shingo and May Lee and Iori joined Leona.
Iori: Let's show this kids how it's done.

Iori rushed towards Shingo, while Leona rushed towards May Lee. Iori leaned in with his rear hand then clutched Shingo. He then pulled him to the other side of himself. Doing this left Shingo in a briefly stunned state, allowing Iori to start a combo if he's fast enough. Iori struck Shingo with his rear hand, then his front, and finished with an upward claw attack that launched Shingo into the air before Iori hit Shingo with an upward claw attack that extended from his hand.
Shingo fell into the ground and Iori threw a purple projectile that skimmed the ground and ended with a pillar of fire with a big splash at the bottom. It paralyzed Shingo upon contact. Then Iori rushed towards Leona.
Leona unclipped one of her earrings and planted it on May Lee like a sticky bomb, causing it to explode on May Lee after 2 seconds before Leona jumped back, untied her hair for a split second, then threw out a crescent-shaped projectile that hit May Lee and boomeranged back to Leona, then Leona swung her rear arm in a full circle, creating a ring of cutting energy around her arm, that slashed May Lee. Iori appeared in front of Leona.
Iori: Let's eliminate the girl, Shingo won't interfere.
Leona: Right.
Iori rushed towards May Lee and hit her repeatedly with a series of claws and scratches, ending by digging his nails into May Lee's stomach, then clawed upwards, launching her into the air before Leona leaped into the air and dived down and chopped May Lee, then rose back up, creating a V-shaped explosion. May Lee was revealed to be unconscious after the attack.
Iori rushed towards Shingo and repeatedly circular hit him with a flurry of claws of scratches, ending by moving behind Shingo, digging his nails into his back, then clawed upwards, launching him into the air before Leona stabbed him in the back with her hand, then finished by turning over so she's under Shingo and exploded him. Shingo was revealed to be unconscious after the attack.
Announcer: WINNERS ARE IORI AND LEONA!
Iori: You guys are tough but we rule.
Leona: You guys didn't even stand a chance against us.
The crowd cheered very loudly. They have saw the power of of the couples that fought.
[In the stands]
Kyo: I would have participated in this tournament, but Yuki can't fight.
Benimaru: I don't have a girlfriend.
Then Ryoma appeared in front of them. He wore a half-zipped white leather jacket with four zipper pouches on the front and one on each sleeves, a black v-neck shirt underneath. blue jeans, a pocket chain, brown buckled shoes, a large C-buckled brown belt, and a pair of black fingerless padded gloves. His jacket also has a pinstripe variation of the Kusanagi crest marked on his back, and on each of his sleeves.
Kyo: Ryoma, are you okay?
Ryoma: I'll be fine, it's just that wound that I suffered at the hand Iori and Yasakani at the Twilight tournament.
Kyo: It's been a few years since that tournament. Why didn't you and Chiz participate in this tournament?
Ryoma: I would have harmed her, there is this new technique I've been planning to use on Yasakani and it was gonna do a lot of harm to me and those around me.
Kyo: I understand.
[Back at the arena]
[Round 2: Azalea and Angel vs Robert and Yuri]
Azalea and Angel were on the opposite side of Robert and Yuri.
Azalea: Let's show these guys our strength, Angel.
Angel: Heard you beautiful.
Robert: Just as we practiced, Yuri.
Yuri: Right.
Announcer: GO!
Robert leaped into the air before he tried delivering a dive kick to Azalea, but Angel blocked the kick and delivered a short-ranged but powerful punch to Robert's stomach and Azalea crouched down and delivered a punch to Robert's legs and Angel ran towards Robert before moving so fast she vanished before appearing behind Robert and wrapped her legs around Robert's legs and snapped them.
Yuri leaped into the air and threw out a small ball of chi from her hands down at Azalea, but she kicked the ball of chi back towards Yuri, who was forced to dodge her own attack.
Yuri released a wave of chi from both of her hands, forming a dome of chi around the front of Yuri, but Azalea punched through it and delivered a sweep kick to Yuri's legs before Ángel delivered a powerful uppercut to Yuri's chin and Azalea became temporarily invulnerable as she readjusted her placement to land a finishing Unchain Circle technique, then Azalea delivers a powerful right hook upwards towards the airborne Yuri.
Robert helped Yuri get on her feet. Robert launched a ball of Chi from his hands at Azalea and Yuri leaped into the air and threw out a small ball of chi from her hands down at the Angel, but Angel and Azalea dodged their balls of chi.
Yuri crouched down and tried delivering a sweep kick to Angel's legs, but she caught the leg. Robert appeared behind Angel and delivered an uppercut while jumping into the air, extending the range of the technique to the area above Robert.
Yuri launched a large blast of chi the size of Yuri's body from her hands at Azalea, but she dodged it. Robert was behind Azalea and rushed to Azalea and started to rapidly punch and kick her over and over again before finishing up with an uppercut, launching her into the air. Robert rushed to Àngel and started to rapidly punch and kick her over and over again before finishing up with an uppercut, followed up by delivering three powerful flip kicks that knocked Àngel further into the air. Robert delivered a powerful backhand, straight punch and rising uppercut before rushing to Àngel and started to rapidly punch and kick her over and over again before delivering an explosive punch and then a powerful rising uppercut. Azalea flew in from across the arena, delivered a powerful flurry of kicks, launched Yuri upwards, kicked her some more in the air, and finished her off with a classy kick across the face before Ángel performed an overhead kick on Yuri, then a flurry of attacks that ended in her placing Yuri's face in her cleavage, and finally a headlock throw to finish him off. Azalea and Ángel dashed backwards and forwards above a downed Yuri before falling elbow first onto Yuri's head. Yuri was revealed to be unconscious after the attack.
Announcer: WINNERS ARE AZALEA AND ÁNGEL!
Angel: Maybe that was too much stimulation for you... Are you goin' off to heaven?
Azalea: I wasn't even trying, what a dad disappointment you were.
Then the two of them started walking away while holding each others hands.
[A few minutes later]
[Round 3: Kris and Kula vs Ryo and King]
Kris and Kula were on the opposite side of Ryo and King.
Kris: Kula, our combos. Don't forget them.
Kula: Right.
Ryo: As we practiced King.
King: Heard you loud and clear.
Announcer: GO!
Kris held Kula's hand and drifted backwards before disappearing and reappearing behind Ryo and King so they can attack them where their guard is down. Kris leaned forward before placing his fist next to Ryo before he tried delivering a one inch punch, but Ryo blocked it. Kula leaned forward before placing her fist next to King and tried delivering a one inch punch, but King blocked it with her leg.
Ryo threw out a small ball of chi from one of his hands at Kris, who kicked that hand upward, making Ryo miss, then Kris jumped forward while kneeing Ryo in the guts. King did a short hop before bringing her leg over Kula's head and slamming it back down, but Kula froze the ground beneath her and slid across it and kicked King's legs, tripping her.
Ryo leaped into the air before lifting his hand up and tried chopping Kris, but he caught his hand before he turned around and slammed Ryoma to the ground before he blasted him with a fireball. King slid across the floor foot first to deliver a kick to Kula's legs, but Kula waved her hand in front of her, when King hit her then she did a high kick that launched a shard of ice at King, harming her.
Ryo charged up a powerful punch before turning his body to increase the momentum of the punch before he tried hitting Kris with his fist, but Kris kicked his hand into the air, making Ryo kick the air before Kris leaped towards Ryo while kicking him before falling to the ground and delivering a slide kick to Ryo. Ryo ran forward and did a small leap forward and tried to kick Kris multiple times, but he dodged all the kicks and punched Kyo in the face and started kicking Ryo multiple times, ending off with a high kick, sending him into the air before delivering a rising uppercut, launching Ryo into the air and crashing into the ground.
King kicked her leg to shoot out a ball of chi at Kula, but she dodged it. King leaped up before kicking her leg to shoot out a ball of chi at Kula, but she dodged it by ducking. King did repeated flip kicks before launching Kris into the air and flip kicked him again before King surrounded her legs with Chi before she started to rapidly kick Kris over and over again, then she kicked her legs, shooting out balls of chi at Kris which harmed him on contact before King leaped into the air and kicked her leg to launch a large number of Chi projectiles down at the area below her and Kris, creating an explosion. When the smoke died down, Kris didn't even have a single scratch on his body.
Ryo launched a large blast of chi the size of Ryo's body from his hands at Kula, but Kris appeared in front of Kula and held her hand before the two of them disappeared and reappeared far away from Ryo.
Ryo rushed to Kris and started to rapidly punch and kick him over and over again before finishing up with an uppercut. Kris got on his feet unscathed by the attack.
Kris: Come on legendary dragon. Is that all you can offer, how pathetic.

Kris raised his fist into the air, King rushed towards Kris to stop him, but Kula launched a wave of cold air that froze King in a large block of ice. Kris drove his fist into Ryo's, creating a towering pillar of flames that burned Ryo, ending off in a fiery explosion. Ryo was revealed to have major burns and was unconscious. Kris appeared in front of Kula.
Kris: Well done Kula, it's about time I end this once and for all.
Kula: Just do it, so that we can go get some ice cream.
Kris charged up his fist with flames before dashing forward and punching the ice, making it explode in one huge explosion once he hit it, dealing a lot of damage to King. King was revealed to be unconscious after the attack. Kris put Kula on his shoulders and the two of them posed together.
Kris/Kula: And that's what happens to those who mess with us.
Kris and Kula walked away with the crowd cheering up for them.
[A few minutes later]
[Round 4: Yasakani and Akiha vs Terry and Blue Mary]
Yasakani and Akiha were on the opposite side of Terry and Blue Mary.
Yasakani: Just summon me with your flames.
Akiha: Right, but which flames should we use? Crimson or purple?
Yasakani: Like Iorin, the purple ones.
Terry: Let's show these guys our power.
Blue Mary: Right.
Announcer: GO!
Terry tried delivering a powered up shoulder charge to Yasakani before he tried rapidly punching him, but Yasakani blocked the shoulder barge and punches before he stabbed Terry with his claws, making him bleed.
Blue Mary did a short leap before she tried slamming both of her hands into Akiha's head, but she caught both of Mary's hands and slammed Mary to the ground before blasting her in the face with a purple fiery explosion.
Terry charged up his fist with chi and tried punching Yasakani, who dodged it and elbowed Terry before spinning around and using the momentum to deliver a high kick to Terry. Terry shoulder tackled Yasakani before hitting him into the air and punching him to the ground with a fist empowered with chi. Yasakani dix a sweeping kick at Terry's feet to trip him before quickly kicking him as he fell. Terry got on his feet and punched Yasakani twice before charging his fist with chi and punching his chest. Yasakani didn't feel a thing and punched Terry before delivering an axe kick to his chest.
Blue Mary did a spin before delivering a side kick and then crouched to deliver a sweep kick to Akiha's legs, but she dodged the leg by jumping. Blue Mary crouched down and tried delivering a powerful kick to Akiha's kick to her head, but she rolled away, avoiding the kick.
Blue Mary jumped and slid across the floor and kicked Akiha's legs before Blue Mary pulled out her Stun Gun and shocked Akiha, then she leaped into the air and delivered an axe kick to Akiha. Akiha hit Blue Mary with a clawing attack while sliding forward, followed up by hitting Blue Mary with a claw attack that launched her before Akiha hit Blue Mary with an upward claw attack that extended from her hand.
Yasakani stabbed Terry with a purple fiery claw that paralyzed him. Akiha stabbed Mary with her claws before she kicked her leg and threw five purple fiery projectiles towards Blue Mary, burning her upon contact.
Yasakani grabbed Terry with both of his hands and threw him over his shoulder and slammed him to the ground. Terry got on his feet and grabbed Yasakani before quickly uppercutting him in the head which sent Yasakani flying. Yasakani managed to repeatedly spin in mid-air and swiftly landed on his feet before he rushed at Terry and grabbed Terry, leaped and performed a neck breaker slam into the ground.
Blue Mary repeatedly kneed Akiha before kicking her and delivered multiple rising arm strikes. Blue Mary jumped on Akiha's shoulders before grabbing her head with her legs and spinning to slam her to the ground, but Akiha landed on her feet.
Blue Mary charged at Akiha before putting her in multiple holds that broke her leg, neck and arm before repeatedly kneeing Akiha before kicking her and delivering multiple rising arm strikes and then Blue Mary wrapped her leg around Akiha's neck and slammed her to the ground, Akiha quickly got on her feet, unscathed by the attack. Blue Mary jumped up and kneed Akiha before grabbing her and slamming her down to the ground and then proceeded to grab her neck and spun her around before letting go, sending her crashing to the ground, but Akiha managed to backflip while in mid-air and gracefully landed on her feet.
Akiha dashed towards Blue Mary and started hitting her rapidly with a powerful flurry of claws and scratches before Akiha grabbed Blue Mary by her top and slammed her to the ground before she blasted Blue Mary with multiple purple fiery explosions ending off by lifting Blue Mary into the ground before a purple fiery pillar erupted and engulfed them, ending off in a huge purple fiery explosion. Blue Mary was revealed to be unconscious after the attack.
Terry punched the ground to send a wave of chi across the ground to hit Yasakani, but he threw a purple fiery projectile that ran across the floor towards the wave of chi, causing a small explosion.

Yasakani was revealed to be okay, he started laughing again.
Terry quickly punched Yasakani with a flaming fist and tackled him before jumping into the air while spinning and repeatedly kicked Yasakani before Terry encases with chi before jumping into the air and punching the ground to release a beam of chi that Yasakani took head on. Yasakani was revealed to be unscathed by the attack, he started laughing again and this time it seemed like he succumbed to his riot of the blood but he did not succumb to it.
Terry tackled Yasakani before uppercutting him and charged enough chi into his fist and made a large pillar of chi strike him before Terry uppercutted Yasakani into the air before slamming him back down with an explosion of chi. Yasakani got on his feet, once again unscathed by the attack. Yasakani started laughing again and this time like an insane person. Terry remembered the time when Yasakani laughed like this, it was at the Twilight tournament, when he released a brutal attack on Ryoma in the finals.
Yasakani rushed towards Terry and hit him very brutally with a powerful flurry of claws and scratches before grabbing Terry with a Hikiri Kine and exploded him in a burst of purple flames before Yasakani grabbed Terry with his crouching heavy punch animation, to which he upon dragged him down to the ground then gouged at his body a lot. After then looking back behind himself, he then hammered the downed Terry with both arms a few times before one final smash that caused an explosion, then Yasakani lifted Terry in the air akin to a cross-chokehold while imbuing the Yagami Clan logo above him and nearly rips him apart him in an X-shaped motion. Terry was struggling to get on his feet after the brutal attack.
Akiha rushed towards Terry and hit him with a wave of purple flames, paralyzing him upon contact before Akiha raised her hand in the air. A black blue passed Akiha and appeared behind Terry, it was revealed to be Yasakani. Akiha and Yasakani exchanged a few words before they released a burst of purple fiery explosion before Yasakani and Akiha stabbed Terry on either sides of his body, then the two of them started hitting Terry rapidly with a powerful flurry of claws, scratches and kicks on either sides of his body before Yasakani and Akiha viciously clawed Terry six times, then the two of them began hitting Terry with a vicious flurry of claws and scratches on either sides of his body before they both grabbed Terry by his head and a huge purple fiery pillar engulfed them ending off in a huge purple fiery explosion. When the smoke died down, Terry had some major burns on his body and was unconscious.
Announcer: WINNERS ARE YASAKANI AND AKIHA!
Yasakani: Those attacks didn't hurt at all. The pain you inflicted didn't make me that stronger.
[A few minutes later]
[Round 5: Ashura and Athena vs Sie Kensou and Li Xiangfei]
Ashura: It's time for them to feel the wrath of nature.
Athena: How about we stick to the plan.
Kensou: Xiangfei, let's win this.
Xiangfei: Right.
Announcer: Go!
Kensou fired a large ball of Psycho Power at Ashura from his hands, but Ashura rushed towards the large ball of Psycho Power and absorbed it before jumping in the air and dived towards Kensou and tried punching him, but he dodged, making Ashura leave a huge crater.
Xiangfei tried thrusting both her fists into Athena, but she dodged and tried hitting Xiangfei with a two parm strike, but Xiangfei dodged and tried hitting Athena with a low kick, but she dodged and tried kicking Xiangfei on the head, but she blocked the kick and tried kicking Athena in the guts, but Athena blocked the kick and backflipped a couple of feet away from Xiangfei.
Kensou raised both of his hands and tried slamming them down on Ashura's head, but he blocked them and kicked Kensou in the guts before hitting him with a rising uppercut. Kensou leaped into the air before diving down towards Ashura before he tried delivering a palm strike empowered with energy, but Ashura kicked him while he was in mid-air, making him crash into the ground.
Kensou got on his feet and leaped forward and tried delivering an elbow strike, which Ashura dodged before Kensou tried kicking Ashura twice, but he blocked both kicks and grabbed Kensou by the head before he circular threw him behind himself and punched Kensou in the face. Kensou got on his feet and leaped forward and tried delivering a charging punch at Ashura's head, but he caught Kensou's fist and punched him in the guts, followed up by slamming both of his fists into the back of Kensou's head, making him kneel to the ground before Ashura grinded his foot on the back of Kensou's head 5 time before stomping him to the ground, making him eat dirt.
Xiangfei rolled forward and tried grabbing Athena, but Athena avoided Xiangfei and used her Psycho Energy to throw Xiangfei behind her before Athena floated up, then kicked Xiangfei down. Athena waved her arms and threw a purple ball of Psycho Power at Xiangfei, who rolled away from the attack, avoiding it.
Kensou delivered repeated punches, which Ashura blocked with ease before Kensou tried delivering a powerful punch to knock Ashura away, but Ashura blocked the attack and kicked Kensou repeatedly like he had a million of legs before delivering a powerful kick to the side of Kensou's head, sending him crashing down to the ground. Kensou was struggling to get on his feet after the attack.
Ashura: Not even close. This amount of suffering won't appease me...
Kensou got on his shaky feet, ready to continue fighting.
Kensou ran up to Ashura before he tried rapidly punching him over and over again, but Ashura blocked the punches with ease, a few seconds later, Kensou was red in the face because he was tired. Ashura sighed in disappointment and punched Kensou in the face before he punched Kensou in the guts with a barrage of punches, in less than 1 second, he landed more than 5 million punches while using 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of his true power. Unlike Kensou, he didn't even break a sweat. Kensou was now on the ground in pain, he was suffering at the hands of Ashura.
Ashura: I have Immeasurable speed, but I continue to use subsonic speed and I have Boundless striking strength but I continue to use street class strength. Get up, Kensou. I won't let you go out this easily. I will keep bashing you until my blood runs cold.
Kensou got on his feet once again, he was ready to show Ashura that he wasn't the same weakling that he decimated at the dojo. Kensou launched a ball of energy at Ashura which returned and hit Kensou, powering him up.
Ashura: I'll give you free shots on me, you better make them count.
Kensou: You'll regret underestimating me.
Kensou launched a large ball of energy at Ashura from his hands, but Ashura was unscathed by the attack. Kensou leaped forward and delivered an elbow strike before kicking Ashura twice before doing handstand and kicking Ashura with his legs twice before leaping into the air while delivering a rising spin kick. Kensou leaped forward and punched Ashura before launching a wave of chi at Ashura from point-blank range, but he was still unscathed by the attack.
Kensou leaped forward and delivered two leap kicks before jumping upwards while delivering spin kicks before Kensou delivered repeated and rapid punches before sending Ashura flying with an uppercut, but Ashura landed on his feet once again, unscathed by the attack.
Kensou charged his energy, then thrusted his arms out and created a spinning disc of energy that shredded Ashura up, but he was unscathed by the attack. Kensou leaped forward and delivered a drop kick to Ashura's head before leaping at him again and repeatedly kicked himm in the head and sweeped Ashura off his legs with a sweep kick before Kensou delivered a double palm strikes while Ashura was falling. Ashura got on his feet, unscathed by the attacks, shocking Kensou.
Ashura: That was pathetic, I guess I'll have to make you scream like a sissy.
Ashura walked towards Kensou very slowly, who got scared when he saw Ashura walking towards him very slowly before he instantly appeared in front of him. Then hell began.
Xiangfei shot a short-range energy blast, which Athena dodged before Xiangfei jumped high and tried axe-kicking Athena, but she dodged the attack once again. Xiangfei rolled forward and grabbed Athena, then threw her behind her and tried finishing with a jumping headbutt, but Athena created a forcefield of Psycho Power in front of her that Xiangfei collided with, hurting herself.
Xiangfei hit Athena with a a wide dual-palm strike, followed up with a double palm strike into a back slam, then she grabbed Athena, then repeatedly blasted her 100 times. Athena got on her feet, unscathed by the attack. The training from Ashura was paying off.
Xiangfei bursted forwards at Athena and hit her with a shoulder strike before Xiangfei grabbed Athena, then repeatedly blasted her 103 times, then dipped into the background, then slid forward to attack with a flip kick into jumping and slammed her back into Athena. Athena was still unscathed by the attack.
Athena dashes forward. She then rushed down Xiangfei in a star shape while flipping through every costume she has had in the series before she hovered above Xiangfei alongside six copies of her which she transformed into Psycho Power which she threw at Xiangfei, creating a huge explosion of Psycho Power. Xiangfei was revealed to be unconscious.
Kensou was on the ground in pain. Ashura had given him one hell of a beating, he had blue eye and was a bloody mess, some of were broken and would take over 6 months. Ashura walked towards Kensou and lifted him in the air akin to the cross-chokehold and dug his claws 56 times and Kensou felt like his body was getting ripped off in half, it was too much for him. Kensou screamed like a girl as the pain was too much for him to bare.
Kensou: I QUIT!
Ashura dropped Kensou to the ground and walked towards Athena.
Announcer: CONTESTANT KENSOU HAS QUIT, WINNERS ARE ASHURA AND ATHENA!
Ashura: I'm sick of seeing the fear in your face. Get lost, you little brat!
Athena: You weren't that bad. You were pathetic! Go home!
Athena and Ashura walked away while holding each other's hands. While the medical team came and took Kensou and Xiangfei to the hospital.
Announcer: The next matches will go as follows.

Azalea and Ángel vs Kris and Kula.
Ashura and Athena vs Iori and Leona.
Announcer: The winners of the quarterfinals will fight against each other and the winner of the semifinals will face Yasakani and Akiha in the final match that will decide which team will fight the host of this tournament.
Everyone left the stadium. They had enjoyed all the matches and wanted to watch some more.
