"I can't wait to find out!" Gumball exclaimed.
"Me neither, Gummy," Penny replied.
"I don't care what the gender is, as long as they are really healthy," Gumball smiled as he kissed Penny.
"Okay, you two," Ember said, walking up to them, "Let's head outside, the reveal is here!"
"Eee!!" Gumball said in excitement. He took Penny's hand and walked outside.
"Thank you all for coming, it means a lot!" Gumball announced, "Okay, here's what will happen. I have Darwin and Carrie dressed up with clothes that have colors of the gender. Are we ready?!"
The crowd cheered as they counted from ten down to one.
"...One! Zero!"
The door opened, revealing Darwin and Carrie wearing pink outfits as they walked out.
"She's a healthy girl!" Gumball exclaimed with a smile.
"Congrats, buddy!" Darwin shouted as he walked up to his brother.
"Thanks, bro!"
Carrie caught up with them, and held Darwin's hand when they reached each other, "Congrats, Gumball! Congrats, Penny!"
"Thank you, Carrie!" Penny and Gumball replied.
"Do you have a name for her?" Carrie asked.
"Yes, but it's a surprise until her birth," Penny said, smiling at Gumball, who smiled back.
"I can't wait!"
Gumball yawned as he stretched and stood up, "Good morning, everyone!" To his surprise, everyone was already downstairs. They had been discussing something for a while. He grabbed the doorknob and made his way downstairs to meet them.
"Morning, everyone!"
"Morning, Gumball!" everyone greeted.
"What are we talkin' about?"
"We're planning what we should do for the summer," Nicole replied, "What did y'all want to do?"
"An amusement park," Gumball said, "But we might have to change it, with Penny being pregnant, she won't be able to ride half of the rides. How about Daisyland?"
"Oh, I've always wanted to go to Daisyland!" Anais exclaimed, "Let's do it!"
"Anybody want to text Ember?"
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, revealing to be Ember as she opened it.
"Daisyland it is!"
"Were you eavesdropping the whole time?" Anais questioned.
"Nevermind that now, Daisyland tomorrow!"
"Okay, then," Anais said.
That night, Gumball woke up to a nonexistant Penny. "Penny?" he called quietly. No answer. He stood up, yawning, and exiting out of the bedroom, just with underwear and his nightgown on. He heard Penny in the bathroom, and he knew it was the morning sickness, even though it was later in the pregnancy. He made his way to the bathroom, quietly knocking on it.
"I-I'm in here."
"It's me."
"You can come in."
Gumball opened the door, closing it behind him, and walked to Penny. He rubbed her back as she groaned.
"I hate being pregnant."
"I'm sorry, Penny."
Penny sighed and stood up, flushing the toilet. She turned and faced Gumball, who went in to hug her. She didn't hesitate, and hugged him back.
"Let's get you back to bed," Gumball said, holding her hand as they went back to the bedroom. Gumball got in first so Penny would be on the outside. Penny turned off the lamp and lied back down. Gumball kissed her forehead as they closed their eyes.
"Kids!"
Penny woke up and tapped on Gumball, who was snoring, stomach first, and his head facing her back.
"Gummy, it's time to wake up," she whispered. He quickly opened his eyes and lifted his head, as if he was being startled.
"Huh? Who? What? When?" Gumball noticed Penny, "Oh, good morning. How are ya feeling?"
"A little better, thanks."
"Gumball! Penny!"
"Time to wake up," Penny said, exiting the bed with Gumball. Gumball put some pants on, but kept his nightgown on. He followed Penny downstairs and to the living room.
"Morning, Gumball, morning, Penny," Darwin greeted.
"Morning."
"Are you ready for today?" Gumball asked.
"I am!"
"You kids have to be careful, remember?" Nocole reminded them, "You must stay with Ember at all times."
Ember appeared in the front door, greeting everyone, "Good morning, everyone! Are you all ready for the best summer vacation EVER?!"
"YEAH!!"
As everyone left the house, Nicole kept telling Ember to watch them. "And make sure they stay with you! And keep them safe!"
"I will, Nicole," Ember replied, "Don't worry."
In the airport, Gumball and Penny were together, Darwin and Carrie were together, Ember and Alana was there, Alex was there, Ken was there, they all were, ready for Daisyland!
"Finally, a break from having to do math!"
"Hey! Math is cool."
"For you maybe."
"Gumball, Ember, let's not start fighting," Penny demanded, "This is supposed to be a happy vacation, not an argument influencer."
"Fight 107!"
"That's us!"
On the plane, couples sat together while Anais sat between Ember and Alana, and Alex and Ken sat together, since they both were single.
Penny felt sick to her stomach on the plane. Was she sick? Was it homesickness? Was it the pregnancy? Gumball noticed and felt her forehead. If she's not pregnant, then it's gotta be because she's homesick.
"Penny, you okay?"
"Y-yeah, I'm okay, thank you. I'm just nervous..."
Gumball frowned and out his head on her belly. He kissed it and lied on it. "I love you."
"I love you, too."
In front of them sat Alana and Ember.
"We have to do a ride together," Alana demanded.
Ember giggled, "Okay, okay."
Alana relaxed on Ember's shoulder before hearing Penny rush to the bathroom.
"Is she okay?" Alana asked, turning her head to Gumball.
"Uh, I think so," he replied, "Homesickness probably."
"Go check on her," Ember told him. Gumball nodded and went down to the bathroom.
"I'm not so sure it was a good idea to bring Penny...or to even come here at all...poor Penny," Ember said.
"It's not your fault, bunbun," Alana said, "It's nobody's fault. She's pregnant."
Ember sighed, "I know..." she looked at her girlfriend and smiled as she got a kiss.
"We're here! I can't believe it!" Anais exclaimed, "This is the best day ever!"
"Let's go check in to our luxury hotel room! It's got six beds for all of us! And they are Double ones so," Ember smirked at the couples in the group, "Couples can sleep together. And also because it costs way to much for separate beds."
The group got into the hotel and into their room. Penny felt much better after getting off of the plane, so it was assumed she was car sick, or in this case, plane sick. Couples were talking, Ken and Alex were talking, and Anais was trying to work the TV so the Daisy show would turn on.
"Welcome to Daisy the Donkey Show!"
"Okay, so, what's the plan?" Gumball asked.
"Hm...I dunno. Rides first or shows first?" Ember replied.
"Shows!"
"Shows!"
"Rides!"
"Shows!"
"Shows it is. Let's get some rest, that was a long flight."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
As all couples got in the bed together, Ken, Alex, and Anais in separate beds, and went to sleep. Later in the night, Gumball woke up with Penny gone again. He saw her by the balcony and walked out to it.
Gumball put a hand on her shoulder, "What's wrong?"
Penny looked up and back down with a sigh, "I feel like I limited the group with this stupid pregnancy."
"Penny, no you didn't," Gumball put his arm around the back of her neck and sat down beside her, "We're all happy you even came. Especially me."
Penny smiled slightly, "Thanks, Gummy."
Gumball kissed her cheek as they walked back into the room. They got onto their white-sheeted bed and fell back asleep.
"Morning, children!" Ember shouted as everyone groaned and turned over, closing their ears.
"Daisyland today."
Everyone remembered and sat up quickly, except for Penny. The doctor told her not to stand up to fast. She was 12. She was young. It was risky. Maybe her parents were right...maybe it is a dangerous pregnancy.
Penny grabbed Gumball's hand and ran to the bathroom in a panic.
"What the what...what's wrong, Penny?"
Penny sat in the floor by the wall and started crying. Gumball ran over to her and sat down, pulling her close.
"Penny, what's wrong?"
"I-I feel like I'm ruining it for everyone...we could've gone to an amusement park if it wasn't for me!"
"Oh, Penny, you're not ruining it for anyone. You should've seen how happy Anais was."
Penny sighed, "I feel like crap..."
Gumball kissed her cheek and then put his head on her shoulder.
KNOCK!
"Anybody in there?"
"Yeah, me and Penny!"
"Oh, sorry."
"Ember, come here."
Ember opened the door and closed it bwck, "Penny, what's wrong?"
"She feels like she ruined it for everyone."
"Oh, Penny, you didn't ruin it for anyone. We're all very happy because Daisyland is much more fun than an amusement park. Besides, we all want you to be safe, Penny. Especially Gumball."
"Ember's right, Penny...I want the best for you."
Penny stood up as Gumball held her hand, "Thanks, Gummy. Thanks, Ember."
Ember smiled, "My pleasure."
"Now let's go to—ah!"
"What's wrong?"
"Nothign, just a kick—OW!"
"Penny, what's wrong?"
Suddenly, her water broke.
At 27 weeks.
"Doctor, what's wrong??" Gumball asked, still panicking.
"Good news!" Nurse Jim said, "She wasn't 27 weeks, she's 38 weeks."
"WHAT THE WHAT?"
"Yeah, we must've caught it a little late, but the baby is really healthy. Would you like to see her?"
"Yes, please," Gumball entered and ran to his girlfriend, "Oh, Penny, thank goodness you're okay!"
Penny smiled, "Gumball, meet your daughter, Isabella Watterson."
"She's perfect," he smiled, "A blue fairy."
Penny smiled back, "Here's daddy, Isabella."
Isabella cooed as Gumball picked her up and pulled her close, "Welcome to the world, sweetie."
"And then we had to go back home because Isabella was born," Gumball explained to Ember on the phone.
"Well, at least she's okay," Ember replied.
"Yeah," Gumball smiled as he hung up. He opened the door to his house and Nicole and Richard ran to him.
"Gumball!"
"Mom, dad, meet your granddaughter. Isabella Hannah Watterson."
"Alana?"
"Yes?"
"Whatcha doin?"
"Drawin."
"That's nice."
Alana walked to Ember and kissed her cheek, "Come on! We have to go on the rides!"
"I think we should go, Alana," Ember giggled, "Gumball and Penny had to leave early."
"But we used our money."
"To Daisyland we go!"
