[Night, Hotel]
All the fighters that had participated in the tournament stayed at a hotel near the coliseum. All the teams shared a room together. Yasakani, Ryoma, and Shin were sleeping very peacefully until a scream from a room next to theirs woke them up.
Ryoma: Who the hell was that?
Yasakani: That sounded like Akiha, let's go check on her.
Shin/Ryoma: Right.
The three of them rushed towards the room next to theirs, they were wearing baggy pants when they went to sleep, so they did not need to wear anything else.
[Athena Team's room]
Akiha had a very horrible nightmare and it woke her up. Athena and Kula were trying to calm her down, but everything they did didn't work.
Athena: Akiha calm down, it was just a nightmare.
Akiha: I want Yasakani right here.
Her wish was granted as Yasakani, Ryoma, and Shin barged in. Yasakani saw Akiha and rushed at her before he knelt down to her height and comforted her. Akiha hugged Yasakani very tightly, never wanting him to leave.
Yasakani: What did you dream of, Aki?
Akiha: I dreamt of a huge red demon killing you. I was so helpless.
Yasakani looked at Ryoma and Shin, the three of them knew who Akiha was talking about. Yasakani decided to sleep with Akiha so she could not have a horrible dream once again. But unknown to him, that was not a dream, but a vision.
[A week later]
In day 1, the fights went like this:
Ancient Treasures Team fought Adel Team and won. They decimated another team once again.
K' Team fought Nakoruru Team and won. They dominated another team once again.
Athena Team fought Neo NESTS Team and won. Akiha used a strange power that even she didn't know.
Azalea Team fought Fatal Fury Team and won. They mopped the floor with the entire team.
The Three Sacred Treasures Team fought Orochi Men Team and won. Chris, Yashiro, and Goenitz didn't stand a chance against The Three Sacred Treasures Team.
Japan Team fought Women Fighters Team and won.
Ikari Warriors Team fought Art Of Fighting Team and won.
Hinako Team fought The Legion Of Time and lost very badly
In day 2, the fights went like this:
Ancient Treasures Team fought The Three Sacred Treasures Team and won. The three of them tested their younger siblings.
K' Team fought Athena Team and won. Athena Team managed to eliminate K' and Maxima, but were defeated by Kris.
Azalea Team fought Ikari Warriors Team and won. Azalea tested her sister's power.
The Legion Of Time fought Japan Team and won very easily again.
In day 3, the fights went like this:
Ancient Treasures Team fought K' Team and won. Kris managed to eliminate Shin, but was defeated by Ryoma.
Azalea Team fought The Legion Of Time and lost. They managed to eliminate Mukai and Magaki, but Saiki's increased power was too much for them.
Everyone enjoyed all the fights because they were very fun. The Legion Of Time and The Ancient Treasures Team were given three days to prepare for the final match.
[Now]
Magaki and Shin were gonna begin the fight.
Announcer: READY, GO!
Mukai stomped his foot to the ground to create a pillar that shot out of the ground beneath Shin's feet to harm Shin and sent him flying. Shin spun while in mid-air and gracefully landed on his feet.
Mukai stomped his foot to the ground to drop a pillar from the sky that fell on top of Shin but he teleported himself away from the falling pillar and reappeared behind Mukai. He pushed Mukai before sweeping the Mukai's legs with his hand to trip him over, tripping him.
Mukai stomped his foot to the ground to create three pillars that shot out of the ground beneath Shin's feet to harm the Shin and sent him flying. Shin landed on his feet and delivered a downward slap with his hands while they are surrounded with energy, sending Mukai a couple of feet away. He then charged at Mukai and tried punching him with a chi infused punch but Mukai evaded the punch and grabbed Shin with one hand and sent a small wave of energy up his arm that turned Shin to stone.
Shin returned to normal after being turned to stone and created a duplicate of himself which delivered a rising spinning uppercut to Mukai who was unscathed by the attack.
Mukai: Time to end this fight.
Mukai unleashed a large wave of petrifying energy all around him into the area around him, damaging Shin who was touched by the petrifying energy, turning him into stone.
Shin returned to normal after being turned to stone.
Shin launched a large number of white balls of energy from his hands before creating a white energy tornado that burned Mukai and launched him high into the air. He then fired out a large wave of chi from his hands towards Mukai, who was hit by the wave, creating a massive explosion. When the smoke died down, Mukai was unconscious.
Shin: The weakness of your mind, your inner discord... The mirror reveals all.
Saiki teleported Mukai next to him and Magaki went to the arena. Shin teleported himself to his team and tagged Ryoma.
Magaki: This fight will not be like the last time, this time i will win, humans are trash. Let's make this interesting.
Magaki changed his body from a human form to a monstrous form.
Ryoma: Miseteyaru, Kusanagi no kobushi wo!
Magaki created portals that he send the balls of energy through, teleporting it to somewhere else to hit Ryoma from different places but he managed to dodge all the energy balls.
Ryoma charged at Magaki but as he was near Magaki, Magaki created a number of explosions in front of him, sending Ryoma flying when the explosions hit him.
Magaki teleported himself behind Ryoma and grabbed Ryom before lifting him into the air and made him explode.
Ryoma spun around before punching Magaki and made an explosion occur where he punched, then he punched Magaki with an explosive punch before setting his arms on fire and spinned around while jumping up, burning Magaki as he touched him.
Ryoma punched the Magaki before uppercutting him into the air before throwing a powerful front before Magak hit the ground, each punch he threw created an explosion when he hit Magaki.
Magaki got on his feet and turned himself invisible.
Ryoma was hit by an invinsible force, he was then hit by a number of explosions, sending him flying. Ryoma was hit by a blue see-through cloud of energy, damaging him.
A ball of pink energy suddenly hit Ryoma and Magaki turned visible again.
Ryoma created a massive pillar of flames around Magaki before Ryoma dashed up to him with his body encased in flames before he punched Magaki.
Magaki raised his hands before sending out a large wave of energy around him, damaging Ryoma who was touched by the wave.
Ryoma got on his feet and launched a large number of crimson flames from his hands before creating a crimson flaming tornado that burned Magaki and launched him high into the air. He then charged up his fist with a powerful flame before dashing forward and punching Magaki, once the punch connected, a massive explosion occured, blowing up the area around them. When the smoke died down, Magaki was unconscious.
Ryoma: Your problem is your bad luck. You had the misfortune of running into me!
Saiki teleported Magaki next to him and teleported himself to the arena. Ryoma tagged Yasakani, who stood in front of Saiki.
Saiki did a flip kick with his legs coated in darkness so he launched Yasakani into the air before teleporting behind him and kicked him in the back of the Yasakani's head before teleporting above him to stomp him down to the ground but Yasakani rolled away and waved his arm to throw a large slow-moving purple fireball at Saiki, who dodged it.
Saiki delivered a spin kick to Yasakani's head, sending him a few feet away.
Yasakani grabbed Saiki and threw him behind him and uppercutted Saiki twice before leaping up and slammed his fists into Saiki.
Saiki got on his feet and waved his arm to throw a large slow-moving ball of darkness at Yasakani who countered with his own fireball, creating an explosion.
Saiki closed the distance between him and Yasakani by teleporting right in front of him, he then teleported above Yasakani and stomped him in the head before grinding his foot against his head while he was on the ground and kicked Yasakani away.
Yasakani got on his feet and dashed forward and swinged his arm to slash Saiki with his hands, he then swinged his arm around and slashed Saiki's stomach with his hands, followed up by reaching up and slashing Saiki with his hands.
Yasakani then grabbed Saiki by his neck and slammed him to the ground behind him.
Saiki got on his feet and waved his arm twice to create an extra powerful ball of darkness that he launched at Yasakani, who countered with his own fireball, creating a huge explosion.
Saiki transformed into Awakened Saiki before launching a large number of balls of darkness from his hands that coated the area around him, harming Yasakani.
Yasakani got on his feet and dashed at Saiki before repeatedly slashing and scratching Saiki before Yasakani lifted Saiki into the air akin to a cross-chokehold and nearly ripped him off apart from him. Saiki got on his feet.
Saiki: Why don't we stop holding back.
Yasakani: Let's do this.
Time suddenly stopped and Saiki transformed into his awakened form.
Yasakani started coughing blood and he suddenly hunched over. His hair turned maroon and his skin turned purple, when he opened his eyes, they were golden. His body was twitching violently.
Both Saiki and Yasakani charged at each other and an explosion erupted.
[In the stands]
Akiha got scared when she saw Awakened Saiki, he was the same creature that killed her brother in her dream. She hoped that the dream couldn't happen.
[Arena]
Yasakani and Saiki were trading blows, with no one having the upper hand. Yasakani surrounded his arms with purple flames before spinning and jumping, burning Saiki when he touched him.
Saiki created ball of darkness that fell down on top of Saiki and binded him to the ground in a web of darkness.
Saiki then grabbed Yasakani before repeatedly punching him in the chest.
Saiki then flooded the area with darkness from above that damaged Yasakani.
Yasakani got on his feet and sent multiple pillars of purple flames at Saiki who countered by sending his own pillars of darkness, creating an explosion.
Awakened Saiki created a large big ball of darkness that he threw at Yasakani who countered by creating a large big crimson fireball that he threw at Saiki's ball of darkness, creating an explosion.
Awakened Saiki disappeared for a second before dashing past Yasakani, leaving a trail of dark explosions behind him that harmed Yasakani.
Awakened Saiki coated his body in darkness before charging at Yasakani and tackled him while burning him. Yasakani got on his feet.
Yasakani rushed at Awakened Saiki while charging his fist with a powerful flame while Awakened Saiki charged his fist with darkness. Yasakani was about to punch Awakened Saiki but Awakened Saiki punched him through his stomach, leaving a huge hole in Yasakani's stomach. Everyone were shocked at what they saw, Yasakani stumbled back before falling on his back.
[In the stands]
Akiha: BROTHER! PLEASE DON'T DIE!
Akiha cried very loudly as she saw her nightmare come true. The other fighter tried comforting her.
[Back to the arena]
Yasakani was helpless on the ground while Awakened Saiki was walking towards him very slowly.
Yasakani: (Is this how I'm gonna die, I have to get up. Akiha and Iori need me, but it's too late. Everyone I'm sorry that I failed all of you.)
Yasakani was gonna accept death, but he heard someone crying, he looked at the source and saw Akiha crying while Iori was trying too hard to cry. Something inside of him snapped, he hated to see his siblings cry. He slowly got on his feet, shocking everyone.
Yasakani leaped into the air while Awakened Saiki touched the ground to cause an eruption of darkness all around the area, Yasakani got through the eruption of darkness and slammed his claws to the ground, causing an eruption of purple flames that merged with the darkness, creating a huge explosion. When the smoke died down, Yasakani and Saiki were back in their normal forms.
Yasakani rushed at Saiki and grabbed him by his head and slammed him to the ground before picking him up, choking him with both hands before a purple fiery pillar erupted and engulfed them, after a few seconds it turned crimson and after a few seconds, it disappeared while Yasakani was still chocking Saiki, then a huge explosion erupted and engulfed the entire area. The force of the explosion launched Yasakani and Saiki far away from each other.
Saiki got on his feet and Yasakani got on his feet once again. He knew that he wouldn't last long, so he decided to finish this fight once and for all. He charged at Saiki and circular threw him behind himself before he drew out his riot of the blood power and 39 pillars of purple flames erupted and hit Saiki before a huge explosion of purple flames erupted, harming Saiki. When the smoke died down, Yasakani still had his hands on Saiki's head, 49 pillars of crimson flames erupted and hit Saiki before a huge explosion of crimson flames took place, destroying all the arena in one huge explosion. When the smoke died down, Saiki was unconscious while Yasakani was on his feet, he had lost a lot of blood and it was a mystery how he won.
Announcer: WINNERS! THE KING OF FIGHTERS DUSK CHAMPIONS, ANCIENT TREASURES TEAM!
The crowd cheered as they enjoyed all the matches. A group of people appeared and took Saiki, Mukai, and Magaki before they all disappeared. Yasakani couldn't take it anymore and fell to the ground on his back. Ryoma, Shin, Iori, and Akiha rushed towards Yasakani.
Akiha: Brother, are you alright.
Yasakani's eyes no longer had the shine. His vision was all white like he was blind. His body was stiff, unable to move! He wasn't even working. He still had a huge hole on his stomach.
Yasakani: Did... I... I win?
He murmured. Akiha saw nothing, it had to be.
Akiha: Yes, you defeated that Saiki guy.
No emotions came from Yasakani.
Yasakani: Good, I can finally rest.
Akiha: What do you mean brother?
Shin: He is going to an eternal sleep, he's gonna leave us.
Akiha: No, you can't leave us brother. There is so much that I want to tell you.
Yasakani felt glad about his last moment while unable to move due to the immense pain.
Yasakani: That's good... Take care... Of... Of yourselves... For... Me...
Akiha: No, you gotta pull through! You must!
Yasakani's eyes closed, still reeling. With his last breath, he died lying on the ground. Akiha couldn't believe it.
Akiha: Yasakani?
There laid Yasakani dead.
Akiha: Yasakani?!
His body was damaged beyond repair.
Akiha: YASAKANI!
Her scream brought everyone to see as Akiha held Yasakani's dead body, her face soaking in the tears of her brother's death. The other fighters felt broken as they lost their new friend. Iori was on his knees while punching the ground, blaming himself for being so weak.
Akiha cradled the dead body, the feeling of loss overwhelming her. Her brother who had helped her years ago, now dead, killed by the one who can control time.
Akiha: Yasakani! I never had a chance!
Her cries were heard in the coliseum.
Akiha: I didn't tell how much I wanted to say that I love you since seeing you again.
Akiha cried her heart out, everyone were shocked to know that Akiha loved Yasakani more than a brother. They failed to see a bright light engulf Yasakani, his body regenerated itself.
Yasakani opened his eyes and found Akiha's stained face above him. He raised his hand and touched Akiha's face, Akiha opened her eyes and looked at Yasakani's blue eye.
Yasakani: Akiha, are you okay!
Akiha immediately hugged Yasakani very tightly while still crying. The others saw that Yasakani was alive and were relieved. They looked at him and didn't see a huge hole in his stomach, they only saw his rock hard abs. The next thing Akiha did surprised everyone, she kissed Yasakani, not willing to release her lock. After a few minutes she released her lips.
Yasakani's cheeks bled red, awed to the tender loving from his little sister.
Yasakani: What was that for Akiha?
Akiha: I wanted to tell you something since you came back.
Yasakani: What is it?
Akiha: I love you, I have always loved you since I was just a little kid. I know it's wrong, but I don't care what the others say about our relationship, all that matters is that I love you.
Yasakani was shocked to hear her little sister tell her that she loved him. He also knew his feelings for Akiha, he had always loved her since they were very young but always kept them to himself.
Yasakani: Akiha, I have always loved you too. You don't know how happy it makes me to hear you say that. I too don't care about what the others say, all that matters is your happiness.
Akiha immediately kissed Yasakani again and this time he kissed back too. They were making out very passionately. After a few minutes they broke the kiss.
After that, Ryoma, Yasakani, and Shin received their prizes. They celebrated with the whole fighters, they had so much, except for Athena, before the tournament started, she felt that Ashura was in trouble, a few days later his energy was acting weird. She hoped that he was alright.
[After the victory ceremony]
Kris and Kula were on a cliff looking at the ocean, when Icy and Azalea walked towards them.
Azalea: Hey Kris.
Kris and Kula looked behind themselves and saw Azalea and Icy.
Kris: What are you guys doing here?
Azalea: We are here to tell you something important.
Kris: What is it?
Icy: Have you ever wondered why your hidden power was reacting to us.
Kris: Now that you mention it, yes.
Icy: Kris, you're my son and Azalea's little brother.
Kula and Kris were really shocked to hear that. Kris looked at Azalea and saw that she had purple eyes like him and white hair like him. He then looked at Icy and saw that she had icy blue and purple eyes like him and Azalea.
Kris: If you're my mother, then why did you let them abduct me when I was a child. You don't how it felt like to be experimented on, all my life, I've been experimented on. I was just a lab rat to them.
Icy: It's your father's fault that you were abducted when you were just a newborn. I tried my best to protect you, but I was killed. I was very weak after I gave birth to you and that Igniz guy killed me.
Kris: What do you mean that it was my father's fault that I was abducted and if you were killed, how are you still alive?
Icy: Your father is Zero, before I gave birth to you, I discovered that Zero was a member of NESTS. Azalea was born with a disappointing potential, when Azalea was 4 years old, her powers started awakening. Zero and i trained Azalea to control her powers. When you were born, your powers had already awakened and the NESTS CARTEL saw your potential and went to the hospital, I knew what was gonna happen and hid Azalea in a safe place. I tried protecting you but I was killed by Igniz.
Kula and Kris were shocked by what they heard. Zero, was Kris's father.
Kris: No way, this can't be right. Zero is truly my father. Why did he let the NESTS CARTEL experiment on me.
Icy: He was very loyal to the organization. He promised to give his children to Nest.
Azalea: I was an orphan and I was treated very badly because of my powers. When I was 18 years old, I ran away from the orphanage and joined the NESTS CARTEL to find Kris but I couldn't find him. After the NESTS was destroyed, I traveled around the world searching for Kris. After a few years I couldn't find him and decided to return home for a break.
Icy: I was one of the souls trapped within Verse. When he was destroyed, I was one of the people who got revived.
Kris was happy to know that he still had a family, he walked towards them and hugged, the two of them hugged him back. After a few minutes, they broke the hug.
Icy: It's time for us to go home. Are you coming with us or what?
Kris: No, I'll stay here with the others. But don't worry, I'll always visit you guys.
Icy and Azalea understood, they hugged Kris one more time and walked away.
Kula: Your sister is very beautiful, I want to be like her.
Kris: I know, will you teach me how to control my ice powers.
Kula: Yes. Let's go get some ice cream.
Kris: Right.
The two of them walked away to get some ice cream.
Everyone decided to return back to their homes to do their own stuff.
Yasakani, Akiha, and Iori decided to return back to their home to train very hard.
Leone decided to train her sister how to use the Orochi negative energy and her water powers.
Ryoma was dating Chizuru. He decided to train very hard and go out with Chizuru. He and Kyo still trained together.
Shin went out with Kasumi, he still trained very hard and got a lot stronger.
