Iori Yagami was walking in the streets of Osaka, he had been searching for his rival, Kyo Kusanagi, who had been missing since the defeat of the Yamata No Orochi. As he was was walking, he suddenly saw an unconscious boy in the middle of the streets.

The boy had a pale complexion and had defined muscles, he was a drop dead gorgeous. He had blue hair that reached his waist with crimson eyes with black pupils, he stood at 5 feet 11 inches. He wore a black form-fitting short-sleeved shirt and black pants with black kung fu shoes and black stockings. He also wore a flowing black vest with a long backside that is secured with a black obi tied over it at his waist and black armbands.

Iori: What's he doing in the middle of the streets, I'd better get him to a hospital.

So Iori picked up the boy and rushed towards the nearest hospital.

[3 hours later]

In the hospital, the boy suddenly opened his crimson eyes and found himself in an unfamiliar place.

Boy: Where am I?

Then a nurse got in the room and checked on the boy, for some reason the boy was glaring at her with glowing crimson eyes.

Nurse: You okay, it appears that there are no injuries. You are good to go.

Boy: Where am I and who brought me here?

Nurse: You're in a hospital in Osaka and a man named Iori Yagami was the one who brought you here. He has crimson hair, wears a black coat with a crescent moon crest marked on the back, the red pants with a belt attached to each of his knees. You're...

Boy: Ashura.

Ashura got on his feet and got out of the room in an impressive speed.

[Streets of Osaka]

Ashura was walking on the streets of Osaka searching for Iori.

Ashura: I've searched everywhere for this dude but I can't find him. Everything has changed since 1800 years. I wonder where is Orochi.

Then Ashura saw Iori walking on the roadside.

Ashura: That must be him. The readhead with the red pants with a belt attached to each of his knees. That's him.

Ashura rushed at Iori and stopped in front of him. The two of them stared at each, crimson eyes meeting crimson eyes.

Ashura: (This guy has the Orochi power and he seems lonely)

Iori: (This boy's energy feels like the one the Orochi has. Do they have any connections?)

Ashura: You must be Iori Yagami, are you the one who sent me to that weird place.

Iori: Yes, Who are you boy and why were you unconscious in the middle of the streets.

Ashura: I'm Ashura, the guardian of the forest. The only thing I remember is helping the three clans seal the Orochi, then I was in stasis for a long time.

Iori: Who were those clans?

Ashura: The Kusanagi clan, Yasakani clan, and the Yata clan.

Iori: You have to be lying.

Ashura: I'm not lying. I was known as Ashura of the flames of fate and destiny. I hate humans except for those three clans. The humans destroyed my home when I was just a little boy and a lot of my friends were killed. I will rip all the mankind to shreds.

A blood red aura surrounded Ashura's entire body. Ashura was subconsciously releasing some of his killing intent. Everyone close to them suddenly lost consciousness due to the killing intent Ashura was releasing. Ashura calmed down. Iori was shocked at what he saw but he didn't show it.

Iori: (The flames of fate and the flames of destiny. Doesn't that Orochi brat, call himself Chris of the flames of destiny.)

Ashura: Mr Yagami, will you train me.

Iori: Get lost brat. I have important matters to attend to, not wasting my time with a weakling like you.

Ashura was angry that Iori called him a weakling.

Ashura: (I'll show him who is the weak one here.)

Ashura lit his blue flames in his left hand and lit his purple flames in his left hand. Iori was shocked at what he saw.

Iori: How do you have those cursed flames you brat.

Ashura: I was born with them. Will you train me now?

Iori: I'll train you.

Ashura: You won't be disappointed Master Iori.

So the two of them went to Iori's apartment to begin their training.

[In the forest]

Ashura was in the forest with Iori preparing to train.

Iori: Do you know how to fight.

Ashura: Yes, I can be sadistic when I fight. I know the Kin 1211 Shiki Ya Otome.

Iori: Let's see how you do it.

Ashura rushed towards a tree and repeatedly hit it with a powerful flurry of claws and scratches while appearing on either side of the tree while clawing and scratching it ending off by ripping the tree in half.

Ashura: That's how I do it. I hit with a powerful flurry of claws and scratches 30 times, ending off by ripping my opponents in half or the alternative, I put my opponent to the ground and hit him or her with 2 pillars of purple flames and end it off with a huge blue fiery explosion.

Iori: I'm impressed so let me start training you.

So Iori started training Ashura, the training was brutal but it was nothing Ashura couldn't handle.

[A month later]

It's been a month since Iori had trained Ashura. Ashura managed to learn everything from Iori under a day. He used the rest of the days to perfect his new techniques.

Ashura now wore a half-buttoned grey coat with gold buttons, a large thinly white crescent moon crest marked on the back, and open slits from his sleeves, a large-collared white shirt that reached to his thigh area like a skirt and was half-buttoned to expose his chest, grey pants with a belt attached to each of his knees, black shoes, and a black choker.

Iori: I have found the location of Kyo, let's go kill some time.

Ashura: Right.

The two of them ran towards their location.

[Clone Laboratory, NESTS Headquarters]

The NESTS lab's clones of Kyo. Can be seen the clones in glass domes, a ladder in the left, a control panel in the right, and an ascending elevator in the background. A power turbine can also be seen near a control panel. Ashura and Iori managed to get into the lab undetected.

Ashura: There are so many clones here, what should we do with them?

Iori: Let's kill them.

Ashura and Iori started going on rampage, ripping all the clones to shreds, the alarms went on and several men wearing hazmat suits rushed into the clone laboratory carrying guns. Ashura and Iori were showing no mercy to the soldiers and ripped all of them apart. It was now raining blood in the laboratory and full of dead bodies that were headless, some of them were ripped in half, and a lot of organs were on the ground. Ashura rushed towards the room where the scientists were and killed all of them, living nothing alive.

The two of them were now in front of a single pod that was remaining and Ashura broke the pod with his bare hands and found Kyo who was unconscious. Iori took the unconscious Kyo and put him on his shoulder.

Iori: Let's get away from here.

The two of them with the unconscious Kyo got out of the laboratory and walked away, as they were walking away, Ashura turned back towards the laboratory and formed a huge blue fireball in his hand and launched it at the laboratory, destroying it and leaving nothing behind. He then walked towards Iori and the two of them walked away.

[2 weeks later]

Ashura and Iori managed to nurse Kyo back to full strength and after recovering, Kyo went on his separate way. Ashura and Iori trained but after their training, Ashura decided to train in the mountains alone.

He was training very hard, he arrived in the mountains 4 days ago and trained for the rest of those 4 days without taking a break.

Ashura: I may be stronger than anyone but the road to being a warrior still continues.

He still kept training non-stop.
