New life

Emptiness is a quiet void where nothing happens that only a few beings experience. I have gone through that feeling, lived through it, and survived, not thrive. I escaped while many fell and couldn't rise to the challenge. I died. I could not stay, but I have gotten a second chance this time. I won't let my light die out again! under challenge. I will thrive and survive. I will get my way in the end, no matter how many people or animals I have to crush to get my way.

My eyes open up and then close them immediately. I see the leaves and the blue skies. The gray clouds slowly move in the sky, creating a shade above my body. Feeling the wind on my skin after what felt like an eternity felt like a haven. I look around at my surroundings. Green big trees that have most likely been there longer than I stand unmoving in the brisk breeze. Grass as long as my foot sway weightlessly at my feet. Bushes with fana unknown to my eyes await my discovery, all mine for the taking. My legs are almost wobbly under their weight, but I stay strong. For all the fallen, my hopes, dreams, and possible future determine if I could get up today. The first list on the agenda is to find the nearest living being and either befriend it or kill it.

My willingness to end a life is surprising, though I expected some. Hesitation to hurt a living being is needed; any help will be of mighty assistance and be grasped desperately. Something is in the bushes. Suddenly the movement increases, and it launches at my body. A Thing charged at me; green wings were flapping with vigor to get to a place. Thinking quickly, I doge to the right. The avian then proceeds to fly into the object behind, thinking swiftly I turn around to look at my new foe. It had big ears, golden eyes, and grey fur with blue skin that contrasted the green and brown in the area. Thinking about what this thing is, my mind goes through multiple entities and comes to the bat pokemon noibat. I was moving forward, and my hand balls up into a fist and launches ahead. It lands its mark, hitting the bat on the head and knocking it out with a great crack to the tree behind it as it crumbles to the floor. Noibat is on the floor, unmoving.

Walking forward, I picked up the bat, put it in my arms, and made a split decision to keep the thing for it to be a battle slave on my team. Speaking of teams, I'm glad I reincarnated into a relatively safe world. Now that I found a mon, this is either Kalos, which is alright, but I'm more fond of alola mainly because it was my first game.
