a journey to find a new home

Minato and naruto we're on the trees jumping and jumping to Branch to branch.

"Umm dad?" Naruto ask as Minato turn to look at him.

"Yes Naruto?" Minato ask wondering what his son wanted.

"Do you know where we can go? I mean after all it is going to be far away from where we used to live," Naruto ask.

"Honestly I have no idea, I have heard some of the far away lands don't have chakra, if we are lucky we could hide there and disguise ourselves," Minato explain as Naruto Sigh.

Minato had took notice of his son face expression, "Naruto what's wrong?"

"It's nothing," naruto said as Minato didn't believe him.

"I said it's nothing!" Naruto start to sound piss as Minato wasn't going to allow his son to speak to him like that.

Minato quickly grab his son and started it rubbing his head roughly.

"AHHH! STOP THAT!" Naruto yelled but Minato continue on.

"Not until you tell me what's wrong," Minato said as it took Naruto a few minutes but he gave up.

"All right fine you know what's wrong? I miss my old body all right, I miss being human and I miss Iruka and the others who did care about me," Naruto told him as he felt like he was going to tear up.

Minato let go of Naruto, "I know it's going to be hard for you but you and I will find a new home and things will get better for us in time."

They continue on walking

"Do you really believe that?" Naruto ask him.

"Yes I do but I know it's not going to be easy for us, I know it's going to be rough for you but I do want you to be safe, once we get far away enough I'll start giving you your training," minato said as Naruto was happy to hear at least being trained by a Hokage was an honor.

"Thanks Dad," Naruto said as they continue on walking.

Later it got dark and they made camp, Minato talk Naruto how to make a campfire.

It was a bit hard for Naruto to learn to light it with his hands with using two sticks but once he finally got done that took half an hour he felt proud of himself.

Minato smiled as he got the logs to keep the fire lit.

"You definitely did a great job," minato said as he was proud of his son for making a fire.

"I know, it is actually nice to learn how to make a fire, usually I just gather up the things and my other teammates would usually do it by using fire jutsu," Naruto explain.

"That may be true but that is not always a good idea," minato said as Naruto's confused.

"What do you mean? it's way more easier that way," Naruto said as Minato shake his head.

"That's the problem though Naruto, you rely on it, when I learned to do things like this it was part of my own teaching that you can't always rely on chakra to do everything," Minato explain.

"But why though?" Naruto ask.

"Because many people in this world can't actually use it, that may sound nonsense for people like us but even we don't abuse it where we use it for everything we need, learning things the human way and not the chakra way are two different things, using chakra it's helpful but if it's taken away then you're left with nothing to survive, you need to know to do other things without it because chakra may not always be the answer to everything, so do you understand?" Minato ask his son.

Naruto nodded, "yes but what about fighting? That's one of the main things about being a Shinobi, you have to use chakra when it comes to that?"

"True when it comes to others but not everyone can use it, it is more of a fair fight if you don't use chakra to those who can't and even those who do depending on their stretching you could find a way to beat them," Minato explain different fighting techniques.

Naruto was definitely getting interest to know everything.

Minato smiled as he was feeling like his son he was finally going to get a chance to have the opportunity to raise him and make him into a man.

For the next 2 months

They have been wandering around traveling to small villages and gathering up simple supplies.

Until the day they had finally came to a new country.

"Dad where do you think we are now?" Naruto ask as Minato look at the sign and read it.

"Welcome to Japan, huh at least that's how I think you pronounce it," Minato said as they kept going.

This place was a lot bigger than the other places they have been before

"Hmmm perhaps this place could actually do good for us," Minato said as they need it now somewhere to live in secret
