Meanwhile, in the middle of the path in the forest that has a sign pointing arrow says "Pallet Town" until a chick foot took step halt that came from Sasha who got turn into a orange and yellow chick. She is much more ready to survive after a week spending the night with the old woman. She was having a hard task by doing all the chores like sweeping and dusting since she was in this tiny body. Then selling some valuable merchandise at the market in a city called Viridian.
Until then the market was closed for the night, the old woman gave her directions Tia town called Pallet. If that town was there then her friends must be there too. She left early this morning after a long travel just to get there to find then until she approach to the signs and looking up where the town leads.
"This must be it. My friends could be in there somewhere."
Sasha walked pass to the right Direction the sooner she gets there by asking anyone if they had seen or heard of here friends. Or creatures claimed to be human since she transformed into some kind of creature. Just about a minute later, when Sasha approached a leaf makeshift tent made out of leaves and vines. She looked puzzled that someone might live here. She took a step closer and then knocked on the leaf tent gently so it won't fall apart.
"Hello? Is anyone home?" She waited for someone to answer until the door opens, but then what really shocked her when it was a white humanoid creature with green and pink hair. What happened next is what he said.
"Sasha?" Sasha then heard a familiar voice.
"KJ."
As the two went silence for a second until they form a smile and started to laugh it out with joy. Never thought that they would see each other again.
"Dude, look at you. You become some weird humanoid creature." Sasha smiles.
"Sasha!" KJ leaps in and gave her a big hug while laughing. "Oh, my gosh! It is you! You turn into some kind of Chick creature."
"(giggles) I'm so glad you're okay!" Sasha giggles, but then she heard another familiar voice.
"Sasha?"
She perks up recognizing the voice as she sees a white and green owl with a plant bow tie. It was Marcy that have been standing with her mouth cover while smiling. Sasha was much more happier then ever that she has found two of her friends.
"Marcy!"
The white and green owl rushed towards her to gave her a big hug while laughing with joy. KJ resumed his embrace.
"Sasha! Oh, my gosh! I can't believe! You're alive!" Marcy smiles.
"Of course I'm alive! Changed to a chicken creature but overall I'm fine." Sasha chuckles after letting go from her embrace. "Are you two alright except turning into these weird creatures of course? Are you two hurt?"
"No of course not. Well, I feel off a tree and nearly tripped over." replied Marcy.
"Oh, Marcy." Sasha shook her gently, but with smiles.
"Hey, is Anne with you? Where are the others?" KJ asked hopefully.
"(Sigh) I could, but Anne and the others are not with me when I woke up in the middle of the woods. I don't know if there still human or turned into these weird creatures like us." replied Sasha when looked disappointed.
"Aw boo." Marcy whines a bit then blew a raspberry.
"Yeah, I know. It sucks. This place is horrible."
"Not all of them, but how did you find us?" KJ asked.
"Let's just say that an old lady has helped me adapt and survived until I'm ready to search for nearby town." Sasha explained.
"Wait, an old lady? (Gasp) There must be some people that we can ask!" Marcy with excitement.
"Yep, and that's where we're going. Come on." Sasha turns around and exit the cabin leaving Marcy looked so much excited while KJ puzzled.
"Did you hear that? All three of us are going to the town!" Marcy whispers when excited.
"I know, right?" KJ smiles back.
"Hey, nerds! You coming or what?" Sasha hollers.
"I'll go get my beret." Marcy flew into the tent to look for her beret.
"Sasha turns her head at the direction where it can lead her friends to find the others. She thought that it was just too easy to find them. The town is l just around the corner and she can feel instincts.
"Two down, and eight to go."
After Ash, Serena and Pikachu set off on down to route 1. Other than a light breeze, the day was peaceful, they have spotted a couple of Rattata packs, a few small flocks of Pidgey's flying around scouting for food, but the three trainers to leave the them be and just cover ground to make sure they reach Viridian before night fall, all they have to do is take it nice and easy, and nothing will go wrong… While they were walking, the five of them were left in there own thoughts.
Serena: This it I'm a trainer. I can travel hopefully find a dream to pursue. Here she gave quick glance at Ash, who was walking behind her. Why did Ash ask to travel together? Does he like me, like I like him. She gave another quick glance at Ash, who lost in his own thoughts. She blushed. Don't be ridiculou, probably Leaf, Kyra, or someone mentioned traveling in a group and that got him to ask. Serena sighed, sadly. Never mind, as long as we travel together, just him… and me maybe even Kyra. Maybe he'll develop his own feelings. Serena smiled broadly and enter another 'Ash Ant-icy' about him confessing to her.
Pikachu: I really misjudged this kid. He apologized after I shock him. The past trainers would've yelled at me, at least if not more. Even after that, when his brother and the old guy wanted me to go back in the pokeball, but he defended me and promised I could stay out. Not only that, but because I'm out walking with him. He told me to let him know if I get tired. He really is a nice kid. Now Pikachu took a quick glance at Serena, Kyra, and Anne. That Serena girl isn't bad either. Although her feelings are quite obvious, seriously, I've seen Vulpix's with lighter red coloring. He looked at Kyra next, his sister isn't bad either since she risked her life to save what her name again… Anne? I can't believe that Froakie used to be human but then again she can talk like a human so it must be true. As Pikachu looked at Anne for a sec. Guess watching… those two interact should cause some good entertainment. Although Ash has kept his word, maybe staying with him won't be too bad.
Kyra: Okay first is to travel all around Kanto and earn all eight gym badges to compete in the Indigo League. Hopefully on the way I can find a way to help Anne get home and become human again. Kyra glanced at Anne as she noted that Anne was looking at the forest while walking. I wonder why Anne's doing that is she looking for something or someone one. I'll have to ask her about it when we stop for a break. I hope she'll tell me what's on her mind.
Anne: I did it I found help, but now I have to find Frank and let him know. I wish he was here so I can introduce him to Kyra. Even though we may not be friends anymore I still care about him and I wish I didn't have to leave without him. I can't ask them to wait, since I already cause Kyra so much grief by making her late. I can see that one of her brother's looking at her with such hatred and disappointment. At least Ash is pretty good brother at least since he offered to let Kyra join him. I wonder what happened to him to treat his own sister poorly. Maybe I'll ask Kyra about it later. I hope Frank at least is following us. I really didn't want to leave anyone behind. I hope I found the rest of my friends and a way home.
Ash: Great, I'm finally here. On my journey to become the very best no one ever was. With Pikachu by my side, nothing can stand in our way and we'll win the Indigo League. Here, Ash entered his own fantasy about holding the Indigo cup, with Pikachu by his side, and the entire crowd cheering his name. He then give a quick glance at Serena. Why did Mum do insistent that I travel with her, I can handle myself and protect Kyra. Maybe it was Serena wanted to travel together. But then why didn't she ask? I know she's shy, but me and Kyra have been friends for years… Then again, she has always been more shy around me then Kyra, Leaf, Drake, or even Gary… Why. Here, Ash let out a breath of relief. Probably just nothing… Is it lunch time yet?…
Back in the, after everyone had left, Professor Oak was sitting in his chair, skimming through his e-mails, nothing too important, junk mail, a couple new thesis from other regional Professor's and some fan mail… When will that Tracy kid understand I'm not looking for a Pokemon watcher to work with me. Daisy and I are managing fine by ourselves. Just as he was coming to an end of the emails, a man walked out of a shadowed corner.
"I see you finally found a trainer for Pikachu." The man spoke, as he entered the light, he was more recognizable. He has: Big spiky carmine red; a mixture of brown and yellow eyes; a dark blue suite with orange lining around sleeves and chest area; there is also a dark belt around his waist, with some brown boots and orange heels, finally he has a brown cape, which is red on the inside.
"Yes Lance. I believe he and his sister are the most capable out of my new pupils." Oak replied, showing no signs of surprise.
"Hahahaha, I remember when you had a heart attack with my surprise visits." Lance joked.
"Ah yes, although the more you do it, the less effective it is." Oak replied with a light chuckle.
"So tell me about the new about the new group of trainers." Lance requested. "I believe six total."
"Yes. Four of them are aiming for the Indigo League, Drake, Ash, and Kyra Ketchum. And my grandson Gary.
There is also Leaf Green, who wants to complete the Pokédex. Then, there's Serena Yvonne." Oak replied. Simple nod from Lance told the Professor to elaborate. "To begin with, most people see Drake or Gary as the most capable."
"You don't agree." Lance guessed. Oak nodded before continuing.
"While they are both capable, Gary as much as I hate to admit it, doesn't hold the right attitude. He believes all it takes is to catch a lot of Pokemon to become a strong trainer." Oak explained. Lance smirked.
"Yeah, but I remember another of your pupils like that, and look where he is now." Lance replied.
"True. Gary's father in many ways, and if he changes his attitude, then he can go far." Oak replied with a friendly smile. "Then there's Drake, he is probably the most prepared out of the group. I have no doubt he'll make it in the Indigo League, although he lacks heart to truly bond with Pokemon." Lance raised an eyebrow.
"Don't worry. I highly doubt he would do anything like your thinking, but without bonding, he will limit the intend his Pokemon will perform for him in battle." Oak reassured.
"There is also Leaf Green who wants to complete the Pokédex, she's very adventurous and energetic, so there's nothing to worry about." Oak explained, Lance nodded, he was a battle expert, so he can't really comment on Leaf or her goal, to each their own.
"Then, there's Serena. She honestly worries me the most. She doesn't have a set goal in mind, and she only started her journey because her friends were starting." Oak continued.
"I wouldn't worry too much, after all a journey itself can help one to discover there own dreams." Lance reassured Oak nod in agreement. "Now what about Ash and Kyra?"
"I believe Ash and Kyra are the most capable out of all of them. Kyra a little more capable then Ash if I'm being completely honest. She is a very bright young lady and has the same heart as her brother and father. Ash may not be as knowledgeable as Drake and Kyra, or the attitude of Gary, but he has heart, and as their father has proved, that's it's the most important thing." Oak explained.
"We'll considering who their father is, I just can't argue, especially if they share the same talent." Lance replied.
"We'll they both can easily understood Pokemon, if that answers your question." Oak smiled, which Lance returned. "But only time will tell."
"So how do you know?"
"You know Pikachu's history. Neither of us could get him to trust after months of trying. I'll know when Pikachu opens up." Oak explained, and Lance nodded in agreement. "There is Anne a Froakie that Kyra found in the forest. She claims to be a human like us stuck in a Pokemon body and from another world. I do believe her since one of the Pokeball's are connected to her when Kyra was close to Anne." Professor Oak ponders.
"So the prophecy has come to pass." Lance said. "What do mean Lance?" Oak was confused by what Lance just said. "You see years ago Red came to me when he discovered our world will be in danger in the future. There would be four chosen ones that would save the world he knows 3 of them would be his children. Red told me " that 12 beings would come here to help the chosen ones in there quest to save the world." I am positive that the Froakie named Anne is one of them." Lance said. Oak was puzzled and worried for the Ketchum siblings. "All we can do now is hope for the best." Oak said as Lance nodded his head. Here, Lance's pokegear rang.
Lance answered it as the person speaking to him explained the situation, Lance clenched his fist in anger. After the call ended, Lance put the pokegear away then turned to Professor Oak.
"Sorry Professor. There's an illegal gym operating outside of Cerulean City. Reports say the guy running it uses a whip to make his Pokemon savage." Lance explained. "I have to go." Oak nodded in understanding, and Lance walked back into the shadowed corner before disappearing, how does he do that…
Back to the group when Sasha, Marcy, and KJ were strolling through the forest as they made it close to the village. They've been talking about their days going since they've been stranded and separated for a week. Sasha was happy that she had found the two of them. Marcy looks really happy that they've been talking a lot.
"So, you went to Viridian City Market for a week?!" Marcy asked excitedly.
"Yep." replied Sasha.
"Were there any people there?"
"Yep, there were a bunch of humans. Although the freaked out when they heard me talk though. Which surprised me."
"OMG! I can't believe how lucky you've been there this whole whole time!" Marcy smiled as she some how was able to take her notebook with her too this world. But with the difficulty of using a pen do to her new wings which caused Marcy to be frustrated, it took a week to learn how to write again by using her small wings. She started writing in her journal.
"Yeah, lucky me. I'm so glad that you two are still okay." replied Sasha.
"Me too, but there's no sign of Anne and the others." said KJ when frowned.
"Don't worry, kiddo. I'm sure we'll find the others."
"Uh-huh, and what about Frank?"
She drops her smile whenever he mentioned it. KJ thought that he ever offended her since he was told to never mentioned that name, expecting to be lectured, but instead she just exhaled.
"Dude, I can't tell where or what happen to him. It's not like he gotten eaten alive." said Sasha.
But then, they heard some bushes rustle when the three stops and turn their heads right expecting to see what it is. They looked very cautious at first until there was a person that turns out to be Frank who was an Otter Pokemon now. He came out of the bush wielding his clam like a sword. Then he looks up at the three of them, but quickly went surprised before he gives directly at Sasha with his cold glare.
"YOU!" Frank growls. All three of them knew that voice.
"AAHHHH!" All three of them scream in union after their own reaction.
"No, not you two. Mostly her." said Frank.
"Wait, what?" Sasha disbelief.
Before he could reply, but there's something that just bursts out from the other side of the path when it it shows a yellow striped bee with stingers on each arm as it turns its attention at the group before it let out a screech as they let out a shout except for Frank. He used his shell and slashed at the bee. He jumped on it's back and unleashed a Water gun attack at the bee as it flew away from the forest.
All three of them were in shock of how well Frank can handle himself. Frank looked at Sasha and gave her a glare.
"Your lucky that I'm around." Frank said sternly.
"Um, how about a little thanks for saving us from the giant bee." Sasha scoff when talk rude at him.
"Thank you? Do you really think I'm going to thank you after what you did a week ago?!" Frank raises his voice when standing up.
"What I did?!" Sasha was offended. "Why you ungrateful-"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hey, hey!" KJ intervenes as he stood between Sasha and Frank to prevent them from fighting. "Let's just take it easy and calm down. Fighting or yelling won't solve our problems. So where stuck together until we find our friends. Deal?"
Sasha and Frank wanted to protest, but he does have a point. Maybe KJ is right, if Frank knew what's he's talking about friends, then there could be few more for those who survived just like Anne. He exhaled before he put his shell back on his body.
"Maybe your right." said Frank. "(Sigh) I don't have time for this." Frank sighed.
"Alright, we should get moving. Anne should be waiting for us."
"Wait you know where she is?!" KJ asked when he smiles.
"What?" Sasha perked up from the bush. "Where is she?!"
"Is she okay?" Marcy asked when looked concerned.
"Guys, guys, She's fine. We're splitting up to search some food." said Frank while gathering some fresh meat to tied up.
"(sigh) Thank goodness." KJ said in relief.
"Hold on, how do I know that you're not lying?" Sasha looked suspicious when mistrusting Frank.
He knew that Sasha doesn't trust him. He exhaled sharply before turn his head at her.
"Because Anne and I are the only ones stranded in the forest. If we're stuck together, we have to work together in order to survive." said Frank.
She wanted to refuse to believe him, but what if he's right. If Frank is telling the truth, then Anne should be alright.
"Fine. Just because she's my friend, but that doesn't mean that you can't be trusted." said Sasha.
Frank didn't said a word he just walked along the path silently.
"Alright, but stay close and follow me." said Frank.
"So, you know where she is?" KJ asked.
"Of course, I do. We've been through a lot this week." replied Frank.
With no other option, Sasha, Marcy, and KJ went following him to the jungle when leaving the path off course. His first task is to bring those three to Anne and they figured out what to do next after that.
Once at the tree, Ash and Serena threw there backpacks, while Kyra let out Eevee from his pokeball so they can eat lunch. Serena took out her pokeball and released Fennekin. The Fox Pokemon, crawled over to Serena and rubbed her head against Serena's leg with affection, while Serena took out a bowl from her bag, and placed it on the floor. She then took out a can of pokemon food and opened it, pouring it into a bowl.
"Here you go Fennekin." Serena pushed the bowl in front of Fennekin. "Eat up."
"Thank you." Fennekin happily barked as she bowed her head in gratitude. Fennekin then put her nose over the food a sniff it, it really didn't smell off anything significant, so Fennekin decided might as well try it. As she ate the food was extremely plain as a fire type, she like strong spices. Reluctantly, Fennekin continued eating.
Kyra put her backpack down as she got out two balls and two containers with water and normal type Pokemon food she made. "Are you two hungry? I do have some food for you guys to eat." Kyra said. They heard Anne's and Eevee's stomach growling. They both have blushes on their faces. Kyra chuckled at this. "I guess that's a yes." As Kyra poured their lunch into the bowls. Anne went to her bowl and eat her lunch.
Eevee on the other hand was hesitant. "Come on Eevee you have to try this it's really good." Anne said. Eevee sniffed at the food before he took a bite. He felt an intense wave of flavor hit his mouth. As he continued to eat his lunch. Anne smiled at Eevee as he enjoyed his lunch. "See told you it was good." Anne said as she went back to her lunch. Kyra smiled at her new friends eating the lunch she prepared for them.
"Hey, Pikachu, not hungry?" Ash shouted up at his yellow partner up in the tree. Pikachu was lying down on a branch almost asleep.
"No. I snacked on a couple of wires at the old man's lab." Pikachu joked. "I'm stuffed." Ash sweat dropped as he put the bowl back into his bag. He took out his own boxed lunch, Delia prepared and sat next to Serena who was eating an apple. Ash starting eating at incredible speed.
Kyra brought out her boxed lunch her Mom had made for her as she ate her sandwiches at a slower pace then her older brother.
"Only an apple Serena?" Ash asked as he took a break to catch his breath. "What. Not Hungry. Serena looked at Ash, who had returned to his speed eating, and blushed, he always put others first.
"Serena that's it aren't you hungry I can give you half of my sandwich if you want?" Kyra asked with concern.
"No Ash, Kyra, I had a big breakfast." Serena reassured them as she shook her blush away. After a minute, Ash stopped eating to reveal there weren't even a crum left, while Serena was barely half way through her apple and Kyra half way through her boxed lunch. Ash didn't want to rush them, and they haven't stopped for five minutes, so no need to rush.
"So Serena. You never told me, what you want to do on your journey." Ash spoke, trying to make conversation, since he helped her get out of Rhyhorn racing, they never talked about her dream.
Kyra knew that question would come up eventually, but she never expected her brother to ask so soon. Only her and Leaf knew that Serena didn't have an goals or dreams except maybe dating her brother. She just sighed waiting for the ball to drop.
Serena about chocked on her apple, she knew she had to tell Ash the truth. Now is as good as a time as any, or as bad, as it may go.
"Ash…" Serena started, but hesitanted before continuing. "…The truth is… I really don't have a goal or dream…" Serena sighed. Oh no, he's going to think I was just being selfish, going in a journey without even a goal, what idiot does that?
"Why?" Ash asked, not in a mean way, but with general confusion. Serena blinked in confusion.
"Oh… Um… I didn't want to be left in Pallet. With you… Kyra and Leaf. And everyone going on a journey. "Serena nervously replied, she also took a midpoint break. "I… Just didn't want to be left alone…" Ash stared at her, and water formed into her eyes.
"You probably think I was being… Selfish, stupid… Serena sadly mumbled, but was cut off.
"No. I don't think that at all." Ash stopped her, as he rubbed her back to comfort her, how he did whenever she, Kyra, or Leaf get upset. "It's only natural you wanted to be with your friends, and to be honest… If I didn't know what I wanted to do, I'd probably of done the same." Ash gave her a toothy grin.
Serena blushed at Ash's words, he truly was the nicest boy she has ever met, no wonder he is the one who holds her affection. It took a while, but Ash and Serena was fine, and so he decided he should see if there's any Pokemon to join his team.
"Ash, I'm going on ahead with Anne and Eevee to help Anne get use to her new body." Kyra said.
"Okay sis, but be careful. Make sure your with Eevee and Anne I don't want any wild pokemon attacking you." Ash said in worry with her younger sister.
"Don't worry Ash I'll help keep your sister safe." Anne said to try and reassured him.
Ash wasn't sure he could trust her to look after Anne since she wasn't from there world. Ash kneeled down to Eevee's level and said "please look after my sister and Anne." Eevee nodded before following after Kyra and Anne. Ash prayed that sis little sister would be alright.
A few minutes Kyra found a place for Anne to train. It was a large clearing surrounded by trees. Okay Anne I think this is a good place to train. "Whoopi." Anne said not excitedly. This made Kyra cross. "Listen Anne you need to train to get stronger if you want to survive in this world. Besides you agreed to help me get to the Indigo League. To be eligible to enter the League that I have to travel all around the Kanto Region and earn all 8 gym badges from eight different gym leaders. Who specializes in a deferent type. The first Gym is in Pewter City the gym leader there specializes in rock type Pokemon. So since your the only water type on the team you will be participating in the first gym." Kyra said seriously to Anne.
Anne sighed at this she did agree to help Kyra since she agreed to with the whole monster incident. Resulting her to be very late. "Okay, okay Kyra I'll do it! Anne shouted, but it doesn't mean I'm going to like this." Anne said. "All I'm asking is for you to try Anne." Kyra said as she looked up the Pokédex entry for Froakie. "Well the only moves you do learn is Pound, Leer, and Bubble so far. Will start with Pound first then work our way up to Bubble." Kyra said.
"So how do I do the pound move?" Anne asked.
"We'll I know it's a normal type move so it is a basic move. Don't worry you'll learn it no time. All you have to do is use your hand to slap at the opposing Target like that tree over there." Kyra said. Anne got in front of the tree as she raised her arm and slapped the tree hard.
"We'll done Anne you did a Pound Attack." Kyra encouraged her partner.
Anne blushed at Kyra complement. "Okay Eevee I want you to stay on the opposite side and wait for my commands." Kyra said.
Eevee shook her head in agreement.
"Anne the next move, I'll be teaching you is a support move. Support moves are moves that can support other moves or weaken the opponent stats. I'm going to teach you leer, a support moves that weaken the opponents defense. You opened your mouth to produce a sound that can weaken Eevee's defense." Kyra explained to Anne.
Anne opened her mouth and produce a sound that Eevee let his guard. "Way to go Anne you learned how to use leer." Anne perked up with excitement. "Alright the last move I will teach you is Bubble. Bubble is a basic water type attack for beginner level water type Pokemon. First I want you to feel water energy in your body and then imagine bubbles. Next you open your mouth and the bubbles come out to aim at your opponent. Give it a try Anne." Kyra said. Anne did what Kyra told her to do as she feel some kind of cool energy in her body and then she imagined bubbles. She remembered she used to take bubble baths at a child. As she loved bubbles. Anne opened her mouth and bubbles came out as it went towards Eevee. "Eevee quick dodge them!" Kyra shouted as Eevee dodged all the bubbles. Way to go Anne you learned a water type move. As she gave her a high five. Anne jumped to receive the high five.
"What did Eevee just do Kyra? It dodge my bubble attack." Anne asked. "Oh, that was dodging its when a trainer tells there pokemon to dodge an attack when it sees it coming. Sometimes the Pokemon can dodge sometimes they can't. It's due how fast a Pokemon is and how much they train." Kyra explained to Anne.
"I want to give dodging a try." Anne said. Which made Kyra smile. Then a small bird Pokemon appear in front of them. "What are you doing here this is my territory?!" The bird Pokemon shouted angrily at them.
"Hey, my partner here found this place so we can train together!" Anne argued with small bird Pokemon. Kyra got a close look at the bird Pokemon and say a scare on the right side of it's face. Kyra pulled out her Pokédex and scanned it. "Pidgey the tiny bird Pokemon, Normal and Flying type, Very docile. If attacked, it will often kick up sand to protect itself. Sex: Male. Nature: Brave (Note personality can change after evolution.) Moves: Tackle, Growl, Sand Attack, Gust."
The young Pidgey cleared its voice before continuing to speak. "I'll make you a deal if you can defeat me in battle the clearing is yours and you'll be able to train whenever you want and I come along with you." Pidgey said.
"What happens if you win?" Kyra asked.
"If I win then you are to leave this clearing and never return." Pidgey said.
"Alight, that does sounds fair. Anne this will be your first official battle against another Pokemon. I know we haven't covered dodging yet but your going have to trust me to wait for my signal." Kyra said seriously.
Anne took a deep breath. "Okay here goes." Anne said nervously since this is her first ever Pokemon battle.
Anne vs Pidgey:
Pidgey swooped down for a tackle. Kyra noticed Pidgey was coming close to Anne. "Anne quick dodge!" Kyra warned Pidgey. Anne leaped out of the way do to her being a frog she can jump really high. Pidgey then flapped it's wings to create a gust of wind which hit Anne. "Ow!" Anne shouted as she felt the pain of Pidgey's gust attack.
"Anne use Leer!" Kyra gave out a command. Anne made a sound to drop Pidgey's defense. Pidgey then came flying towards Anne. Kyra thought that if Pidgey can get close enough she can get Anne to use Bubble to hit Pidgey. What happened next gave both Kyra and Eevee a shock. "Get away from me you big bird!" Anne shouted as she unintentionally threw a ruffle from her neck at Pidgey causing him to go blind. "Hey! How turn off the lights!" Pidgey shouted angerly.
"That's not what I was going for but I guess it will do. Anne finish it with Bubble!" Kyra said.
Anne let out bubbles that hit Pidgey successfully since he is blinded by Anne's ruffle and can't dodge the opponents attack.
"Awww!" Pidgey shouted in pain.
Kyra got out a regular pokeball as she was ready to throw it at Pidgey.
"Pokeball go!" Kyra shouted as she threw the pokeball at Pidgey and it struck it. It wobbled for a few seconds then it clicked to show it was captured. "We caught a Pidgey!" Kyra shouted. "Yeah, I won!" Anne shouted. Kyra then let out the Pidgey she caught.
Pidgey looked to see Kyra, Anne, and Eevee. "You have beaten me for that I will pledge my loyalty to you and your comrades." Pidgey said.
"That's very nice of you. But why would you do that?" Anne asked Pidgey.
"A about a couple of months ago me and my flock stayed here in this forest for some time until those dam Spearos came here and killed all my flock mates. I was the only one that survived that day. I got this scar on my right side of my face by the leader of that flock. So I lived in this clearing until I saw you, that Eevee and a Pokemon I never seen before I think you call Anne. I saw that you are a trainer and I decided I want to go with you to get stronger so I can beat the leader of the Sparrow gang and free the Pokemon and people from there cruelty. I decided to test you to see if you would be a worthy as my trainer. Since you captured and defeated me in battle I decided to willingly come with you." Pidgey said.
"I think it's great that you are joining us on our journey. Another teammate and friend to join us." Kyra said excitedly.
"How about a nickname? How about Joe?" Kyra asked.
"Joe?" Pidgey thought for a minute to think of the name.
"I like that name." Joe said as he sat on Kyra's shoulder. As Kyra returned Eevee and hopped beside Kyra. They went back to see Ash and Serena.
Ash waited for his sister and her Pokemon return from training as he took a look at his Pokédex, trying find which Pokemon in the area. It said there was the typical stuff, Magikarp, Pidgey, Rattata, Spearow, nothing to exotic. As he was pacing back and forth.
"Pidge, pidge." Pidgey chirped as the group of three Pidgey's landed nearby. Ash and Serena looked over.
"Aww cool, Pidgey's." Ash excited commented. "They would make great team mates." The Pidgey's heard this and turned there head. They really didn't care about this kid, if he try's anything, then they will defend themselves, if not, they can just continue there search for lunch. Ash jumped up just in front of them.
"Go, Pokeball!" Ash shouted as he threw a pokeball, it struck one of the Pidgey's as the other two flew away. The Pidgey that was sucked inside the Pokeball, and it fell to the ground.
"Alright, I caught a…" Ash cheered, but stopped when the pokeball started to wiggle back and forth.
"Urrr… What's it doing now?"
Pokemon needed to battles and weakened before they can be captured. Unless the Pokemon doesn't put up any resistance. Ash's Pokédex spoke up. The ball continued to wiggle, until it bursts open, Pidgey flew out and while in the air, flapping it's wings, creating a powerful winds directed at Ash, it even blew the pokeball into Ash's face. The combination of the strong wind and hard hit from the metal ball, caused Ash to fall onto the ground. His Pokédex lay next to him.
"ASH!." Serena worriedly shouted as she jumped up.
"Urrrg, what was that?" Ash weakly said.
A gust of wind is whipped up by wings and launched at the target to inflect damage. Ash's Pokédex spoke again. Trainer's normally battle wild pokemon with there own. As Ash picked himself up, dusted the dirt off, he heard Pikachu, snickering.
"Ha Ha Ha, Pikachu, I'm sure it looked hilarious." Ash sarcastically replied with slight anger in his voice.
"Let's see you battle Pidgey."
"No way. This is too good to miss out on." Pikachu replied, as his snickering continued.
"Fine." Ash angrily turned to Pidgey again. "Just you watch, I'll catch Pidgey myself." Ash then pulled out a blanket, Delia packed in Ash's bag. Ash held the blanket, one corner each hand and had it fall down. He began sneaking towards the Pidgey as the bird went picking on the ground.
"Ash." Serena called out, a little concerned. "I don't think it's a good idea."
"Don't worry Serena." Ash reassured as he closed in. "I will be just fine." Serena sighed, she seriously doubted that, she wished Kyra was here to stop this, Serena decided to take the initiative route and pack up the few things they had out, something told her, they were in for a rough ride. Ash continued to tip toe forward, and Pidgey turned his attention to the boy, with a blanket. Does this kid had a mental problem or something else? Pidgey turned his head in confusion.
"Hey there Pidgey." Ash calmly whispered as he stopped just in front of Pidgey." … Pidgey your mine!"
Ash flung forward and pounced onto the tiny bird pokemon covering it with his blanket, with his body covering the Pokemon. Pidgey began attacking Ash with it's beak, through the blanket.
"Aarrgh!" Ash cried out in pain, but he didn't let up. That's when Kyra, Anne and her new friend Joe came along they all looked disturbed at the scene. "Uh… Kyra is your brother alright I mean why is he using a blanket?" Anne asked in concern. "I agree with Anne. Why is your brother try to capture one of my kind with that method. Wouldn't he better off using his own pokemon to help him catch it?" Joe asked confused at the sight. "Sigh." Kyra sighed at this knowing the answer to that question. "I'm guessing that Pikachu refused to help my brother and now he's trying to catch a Pokemon by trapping it. I hope Ash is okay." Kyra said in worry. "Hahahaha!" They heard Pikachu up in the tree laughing his tail off. This ticked Anne off while Joe was dumbfounded by the yellow rodent's behavior. "Hey! Shouldn't you be helping him he is your trainer after all!" Anne yelled at Pikachu.
"Look girly. I came with the kid so I can escape from that lab and be back in the wild where I belong. Besides this is good entertainment. Hahahaha!" Pikachu said. "You mean to say that your going to abandon him even though he was kind to you and wants to be your friend! Quite calling me girly my name is Anne!" Anne shouted at Pikachu. Anne was lucky Ash, Serena, and Kyra wasn't hearing this conversation other wise let just say they would be very mad at Pikachu and hurt at that revelation. "I agree with Anne you should be thankful that Ash is a good trainer. Not like a couple of trainers I saw that abandoned there Pokemon when they lose a match when I was still flying with my flock!" Joe shouted at Pikachu. "Hey I have you know I had trainers before and they were all awful to me when I didn't obey them when they started to demand I win there matches. Or when I shock them when I didn't want to go in that prison of a ball! Besides girly, you and I aren't that different. You and me are stuck with people that make us feel like we're there slaves. I bet you want to leave the girl just as much as I want to leave him to be free. Your just using her." Pikachu said with a smug remark.
Each accusation Pikachu said had some truth to it which made her feel worse. Knowing full well Anne agreed to be her starter along with Eevee because it was her fault that she made Kyra so late that all the starters were taken. It was that saddened expression on her face that Anne decided to take responsibility for her actions. For the first time in her life. Besides she needed Kyra's help if she and her friends to return home and become human again. She also wished she didn't have to resort of being belonged to someone and run away to find her friends and twin brother. Which she kept from Kyra. But, all the time she had gotten to know her for a little bit. She can honestly say that she was lucky to have Kyra with her as her friend and wants to get to know Kyra a bit more.
"Some of it may be true Pikachu but, I'm happy that I'm with Kyra if I have to be belonged to someone it would be her. If you get to Ash a bit more I'm sure you two would reach an understanding and become best of friends." Anne said. Which Pikachu was taken back by this girl's straight forwardness. Pikachu decided to think quietly to himself.
When Pidgey's assault on Ash had ended, which he thought he won, he was about to let up, when he was being lifted off the ground, along with the blanket separated. Pidgey let up and flew away, all he wanted was something to eat. Ash crashed into the ground, and the blanket landed a little far away. BRO talk to me are you okay?! As Ash shouted "Aargh!" again while Kyra and Serena came over to check if he was alright. "ASH!" Serena cried out in fear. "Please say that your alright?" As they both helped Ash get off the floor.
"Yeah. I'm fine." Ash replied, followed by a typical toothy grin. "Just wish I could have caught that Pidgey though like you caught your own Sis." Ash said as he notices Joe. Serena rubbed Ash's back for comfort him, which caused her to blush, normally it's Ash comforting her, not the other way around, does he like her comforting him? No, she can't think about such such things at this time. Ash needs words of encouragement, like what he and Kyra had given her in the past. Serena took a deep breath…
"Don't be sad Ash, Pidgey may have got away today, but just means you'll have another chance again." Serena told him with a warm smile. "Serena's right, you can't expect that every thing will go your way. There will be times when you will get frustrated and upset. Remember Bro never give up." Kyra said while smiling, to try and cheer up her brother. Ash returned the smiles so Serena stood up in determination. "Hey, don't give up until it's over. Okay." Hearing the same words of encouragement he and Kyra used to help Serena, lit a new fire within him. Serena and Kyra offered their hands, which he accepted as Ash got up to his feet. Then Ash felt something weird in him, he pulled Serena into a hug…
"Thank you." Ash whispered in her ear. Why did he hug her? He doesn't know, but Leaf and Kyra always hug him when she said thank you, and it just seem the right thing to do… Then again, Serena isn't Leaf or Kyra. Leaf is Practically his sister and Kyra is his biological sister, and Serena has alway's been different, she acted different, talked different, sometimes it was like they were best friends, and other times… It felt like she was more… Meh, probably just his imagination. After all, their best friends , what else could they be?
When Serena felt Ash hug her, she jumped slightly, and blushed slightly, and blushed heavily, after she heard thank you, she practically melted into the hug… Kyra and Joe watched the scene with an awe expression on their faces. Anne was just looking at Pikachu. While to her shock Pikachu was silently thinking. She wondered what Anne said to him to make him act like that?
The hug only lasted a few seconds but to Serena it felt like an eternity. Ash could of sworn he heard Serena groan when he let go. Once he did, he figured he might as well pack up. Serena stayed still in the same spot, truly enjoying the memory of what just happened. Ash had packed up most of his things up, when he spotted his blanket. He made his way over when he noticed the lump around the middle. "Ash did you somehow catch another Pidgey with that blanket?" Kyra asked in confusion as noticed as well.
"Maybe your right Kyra there could be another Pidgey." Ash said to his sister. Ash kneeled down and picked up the blanket. Another bird Pokemon hopped out, Joe seemed to know this bird since he grew pale as he glared at Ash, it wasn't a Pidgey. Ash and Kyra grabbed their Pokédex's although she had a pretty good idea what kind of Pokemon it is.
Spearow, The tiny bird Pokemon. Unlike Pidgey, Spearow has a terrible attitude. It is a very wild and will sometimes attack other Pokemon and people. As his Pokédex spoke, Ash's face paled, notably at the attacking people part.
"Kyra you and the others have got to run now!" Joe said in fear. "Uh, why is that Joe it's just a Spearow I'm sure me and Ash will get him to understand if with explained what happened." Kyra reassured Joe.
"You don't understand, it's not just that Spearow it's thee Spearow. He is the leader of the gang that is responsible for murdering my flock mates! There is no reasoning with him once he gets angry and call his own flock!" Joe said angrily. Kyra realized the first time in her life they could be in big trouble.
"Umm… Hey there. Spearow… Sorry about the blanket… I really didn't mean to interrupt whatever it is, what you are doing… It was terrible accident…" Ash nervously explained and apologized. Pikachu had stopped his train of thought as he and Anne finally took noticed at the Spearow. Both of them got ready if they needed to attack to defend themselves. "Are we good?" "Ash we need to get away from here now!" Kyra shouted as she alarmed them.
"Ash… You okay?" Pikachu asked. "Kyra what's with the yelling?" Anne asked with concern when she heard her friend yelled in fear. Spearow saw this and shrieked, it launched into a quick attack, Ash and Kyra barely had time to dodge, but they weren't Spearow's target. Spearow continued at Pikachu. Pikachu was able to dodge the attack, but he lost his balance and fell from the branch. As Pikachu tried to get up, Spearow unleashed a barrage of fury attacks. Anne was in shock that this bird Pokemon started to hurt Pikachu. She and Pikachu weren't exactly on friendly terms due to the fact of his rudeness, but that doesn't mean he deserved to get beaten up like this. Usually her friend Sasha or Andy were be there to protect her from bullies. Right now Spearow was like those bullies back home and right now she's scared to make a move.
"Joe returned." Kyra said as she picked up Kobe's pokeball as he gets sucked in. Kyra knew that Joe wasn't able to help since he took some damage with his battle with Anne. Kyra then grabbed Anne and picked her up safely in her arms. To keep her safe. Anne looked at Kyra as she was glad that her new friend's kindness.
Serena panicked as Spearow attacked, and Fennekin leaped into her arms.
"Fennekin, hide in your pokeball." Serena told her fire fox. "You'll be safe there." Fennekin agreed and Serena picked out her pokeball, and returned her. She then placed the pokeball, returned her. She then placed the pokeball back on her belt. Serena then turn towards Pikachu, who cried out in pain. Kyra and Anne were worried about Pikachu who is crying out in pain.
"PPIIIKKKAAACCHHUU!" Ash shouted as he charged towards the assault. Ash, rugby tackled the angry bird out of the way, and covered Pikachu protectively with his body. Ash couldn't even make out what Spearow was saying due to anger. Anne however could he said "Why you little… That's it you are dead meat get ready to be torn piece!!" Spearow shouted in rage.
"Pikachu… You okay?" Ash asked. Pikachu stared up at his trainer. Ash just tackled Spearow to save him… Maybe he could become his partner. After all, before those other trainers got Pikachu, he did dream about being a trainers Pokemon… Maybe that dream will come true.
"Yeah… Ash…" Pikachu weakly replied, he then saw Spearow charging at Ash. Pikachu wasn't about to let that happen. Pikachu launched into a quick attack, the two collided and were equally matched. Pikachu, recovered quickly and launched a thunder shock at the Spearow. Ash was shocked (no pun intended), Pikachu just protected him. Spearow quickly recovered but now the kiddy gloves are off…
Spearow let an ear piercing screech. From a nearby grotto, a giant flock of Spearow rose, all directed towards their group. Ash, Kyra, Anne, Pikachu, and Serena gathered together as they sweat dropped. "Ah crud!" Anne shouted in terror. There was no way they can handle an army. The original Spearow let out another screech and pointed his wing towards the gang. With the leader's command given, the army of Spearow's entered into a quick attack frenzy, all aimed at them. With thinking about other options they had left, while apologizing failed they only thought of one option left… RUN!! Kyra said in fear. "AAAHHHHHHH!!!!" Anne shouted so loud the whole route must have heard her.
We then see Frank's group on there way to Pallet Town since they took a different route then Ash and Kyra's group did they didn't run into each other. They heard a loud scream as echoed through the forest.
"What was that?" KJ asked.
"Sounds like a banshee." Sasha guessed something.
"Wait that scream." Frank started to pick up something since he hears a scream until his eyes went wide with horror that this can only mean one thing. "Oh, no. ANNE!"
Frank sped off with his scallop, leaving them in shocked as he ran towards the shriek that was on opposite side of the forest, then were they were going. As they the rest of the group realized it too.
"Hey! What's the rush?!" Sasha yelled.
"It's Anne! Something must've happened to her!" Frank yells back when running.
"We gotta do something!" said KJ.
"Come on!" Sasha orders when she and her friends went to catch up with him just to reach up to save her.
"Don't worry Anne will save you! Marcy yells.
Back in Pallet Town, Delia was sat having a cup of tea, when she had her sixth sense go off.
"So that's how long Ash can stay out of trouble even though Kyra tries to get her brother out of trouble now she probably getting dragged into his mess with Anne on top of that." Delia thought with an amused smile, well, at least she isn't doing their laundry anymore. She hope they'll be alright.
Ash, Pikachu, Serena, and Kyra while carrying Anne in her arms. They ran as fast as they could. Looking to the sky, it looks like a storm is rolling in, great. Ash, Kyra, and Anne were brave as they quickly looked behind to see they all went pale when they see about 300 Spearow's chasing them, and they weren't giving up. Ash inwardly sighed, looking at Pikachu, It was clear the mouse pokemon was getting tired. Kyra looked very tired herself, Anne looked very worryed for her. Kyra saw Anne's worried expression. "Don't worry Anne, we are going to get out of this together you'll see." Kyra tried to convince everything with alright even though she had some doubts. Serena wasn't doing too good either. Ash looked for a way out, Ash hastily looked around he spotted a cliff and could hear running water… Ash got a very bad idea.
"Guy's… I've got an idea…" Ash told them in between breaths.
"What is it?" Serena asked confused.
Kyra looked at Anne then looked back at the army of Spearow's. Then looked at her brother Kyra sighed knowing that the last idea he had went horribly wrong. It was most likely the next one would be just as bad as she sighed. Do to their situation she didn't have much of a choice so she decided to hear her brother out "Okay, Bro what kind of plan are you thinking of getting us away from those pesky Spearow's." Kyra said she was at her wits end with those birds.
"No time to explain." Ash replied. "Do you trust me?" Serena stared at Ash after the questioned, after everything he done of course she trusts him. Kyra was wearily about her brother's idea but after everything they been through together as siblings she trusts her brother with her life.
"Yes… I trust you." Serena replied as she put her hand over her heart.
"To the end Bro." Kyra looked down at Anne as she asked her an important question. "What about you Anne do you trust me to believe in my brother." Anne looked at Kyra with wide eyes. Anne thought back to when the first met she didn't trust Kyra at first she only went with her because she needed help to get home and get her human body back and also she owe her for ruining het plans. After a bit of time with Kyra she started to like her and wanted to get to know her better as a person as a friend. She was certain that Kyra would never abandon her since she continued to prove it to her by protecting her by the Spearow leader and his army. "Anne confidently said I do trust you." Anne said which made Kyra smiled.
"And about you Pikachu?" Ash asked.
"Yeah Ash… Just get us out of here." Pikachu snapped. With their permission, Ash put his plan into action. Ash grabbed Serena's hand with one of his own, and swiped Pikachu up on his own. With both in hand, Kyra was holding on to Serena's other hand while holding Anne in her arm, Ash drew them towards the cliff. Looking down, a river is seen.
"Ash! Are you crazy!?" Serena, Anne, and Pikachu shouted in union. As Kyra sighed she knew something like this would be his plan.
"What choice do we have?" Ash asked. "Stay here and get attacked?" Serena, Anne and Pikachu looked at each other, they knew he was right. With that they all nodded. With time running out, Ash and Kyra took Pikachu and Anne as they held there partners close to there chests, before they fastened there jackets to keep them close. He then turned to Serena and gave her a reassuring smile. Kyra reassured Anne that everything was going to be okay. "Are you ready Anne?" Kyra asked while Anne said with fear in her voice "…yes."
"Ready?" Ash asked, being serious. Reluctantly, Serena nodded. With Serena, Anne, and Pikachu ready to go, Ash wrapped his arms around Serena's waist and pulled her close, while Kyra holds on to both of her friend's shoulders. "Hold on tight!" Serena wrapped her arms around his chest, braving a look back, as she sees the Spearow's closing in. She remembered Ash counted from three, and they jumped. As they all fell, the Spearow arrived at the edge of the cliff, using there ability, keen eye, if these kids come up again, then they will make them pay. The gang all fell into the river…
Further down the river, on solid ground, a girl is fishing. This is Misty Waterflower. She has: orange medium length hair, tied in a ponytail; with emerald eyes and pale white skin; her outfit consists of red suspenders; a pale yellow tank top; deep sea denim shorts and yellow sneakers. Her day had been fairly uneventful, none of her Pokemon has had a good battle, and she hadn't even had a bite. The Waterflower name is world famous, Misty is from Cerulean city, although left on a journey because of 'Family Issues', although the twelve year old plans to return… When she turns sixteen and can take back her father's legacy…, Oh, why can't something happen, she is on bored.
As they broke the surface, the gang went under water.To Anne's discovery she can breath under water so she tried to keep Kyra from letting go of Ash's and Serena's shoulders. So she wouldn't get separated. They were forced down the river by the current, Ash and Anne could have sworn they saw a Gyarados swim by. Although Anne somehow was able to keep Kyra from drifting away from Ash and Serena while being secured like Pikachu was. Ash and Serena however were feeling exhausted, and they were slowly separating the only thing that kept them together was Kyra, Anne, while Ash came to his senses and gripped Serena's hand, hard, interlocking his fingers, he won't lose anyone no matter what.
Suddenly, Ash felt a tug on his jacket. There was two tugs, but it had little to do with the current. The third tug, was a lot harder. Ash, Pikachu, Kyra, Anne, and Serena were all pulled out of the water. Flying through the air, Ash can't hold on much longer, and loses his grip on Serena. Kyra ended up letting go of both Ash and Serena while Anne was still secured.
The three landed meters apart from the dirt. It was Misty who pulled them out off the water. Anne was able slip off the restraint over her body as she sat next to Kyra. "Wake up Kyra please wake up your my good friend I can't lose you. Please open your eyes." Anne begged for her to wake up. That moment her and Ash chocked on water as they attempt to breath.
"Aww, it's just some kids. Misty groaned. Misty then saw Pikachu and Anne only Pikachu is too tempted to catch his breath. "Oh, and a Pokemon. Are you okay? Misty ran up too them as she spoke. "I'm fine thanks for asking, although I'm more worried about my trainer Kyra." Anne said. Misty was flabbergasted as she saw a blue frog Pokemon talked. "You can talk?" Misty said in surprise before she can questioned it.
Ash replied as he caught his breath and smiled weakly, "Yeah, we're fine thanks." He then felt a slap on the face. Ash looked at the orange hair girl just hit him, and was surprised, why did she do that? Anne was taken back at the orange haired girl's attitude.
"Not you your Pokemon. Look what you've done to it!" Misty angrily replied.
"We didn't do this." Ash retorted.
Serena and Kyra were angry, Anne was frustrated of how this girl is acting. This girl had some nerve, sure, it's okay to worry about Pikachu, but she can't just accuse someone of hurting there pokemon without evidence, but you should also be worried for her, Kyra, Anne, and Ash. Plus there was no reason to hit Ash like that. If Serena and Kyra weren't so tired, then Serena would go in her sass mode while Kyra would have yelled at her for accusing her brother like that. They would have defended Ash while telling the girl off.
"Then how come you let him get hurt like that?" Misty yelled.
"I don't need this, she hadn't seen what happened and she just need to mind her own business. Plus Pikachu is my priority, and she just hit me." Ash thought angrily.
"It doesn't matter, what does matter is making sure Pikachu is safe." Ash retorted as he stood up, cradling Pikachu in his arms. "Do you know where I can take him?"
"Humph! Your in luck, Viridian City is a few miles away." Misty grunted as she pointed in the right direction. "There's a Pokemon Centre there, they will heal Pikachu."
"Great, thanks." Ash thanked as he bowed his head in gratitude.
"Hey Ash, we can ride this." Serena called out as she pointed at the red bike. Anne looked shock at this familiar action. When Sasha dared her to steal the music box in Frank's family store. "Kyra you can't just steal the girl's bike. I know she had been rude towards us but that doesn't make it okay." Anger tried to reason with her so she can convince the others. "I don't like it either Anne but we have no choice. If we don't take the bike Pikachu will suffer even more. The Spearow's are still after us if we ran on foot their army will catch us and then we'll be in real trouble." Kyra said sadly. Anne looked at Kyra seeing this was hard in her so she jumped in Kyra's arms. As they smiled at each other as Anne decided to follow her lead. "We'll make it in no time." Serena said. Ash nodded, this would save a lot of time. He and Kyra ran towards the bike as they lay Pikachu and Anne next to each other in the basket.
"Hey! That's my bike! You can't take it!" Misty shouted as she stamped her foot in frustration. Unfortunately, everyone's attention was drawn to the sound of the loud screech. The Spearow army was coming.
"Why won't these guys quit?" Ash asked a rhetorical question. "I don't know Bro but we can't stick around here or will get mauled." Kyra said. "We need to get going." Ash jumped onto the, Serena jumped behind him, and wrapped her arms around his torso, Kyra jumping onto the bike while putting her arms around Serena while sitting behind her they had to keep balanced since there was one seat, but a part of Serena wants too. Serena had no problem with 'borrowing' this girl's bike, after all she did hit Ash. Kyra however felt guilty of going along with stealing the girl's bike sure she dislike the girl for hurting her brother and what Anne said made her feel more guilty. She felt like they didn't have a choice considered the situation they were in. Kyra decided to put it at the back of her mind and focus on helping Pikachu get to the Pokemon Center in Viridian City. The gang rode onward at a decent speed.
"Come back here! You can't take my bike!" Misty yelled.
"We'll give it back." Ash shouted as they pick up speed. "Some day."
"How dare they! They took my bike! They won't get away with this!" Misty clenched her fists in frustration, then she felt a few rain drops. "I better get to shelter first, looks like a storm is coming." As she headed off to a nearby cave she saw earlier that day. She also secretly hoped those kids, Pikachu, and to seem to be a talking frog Pokemon which she couldn't rapped her head around it. Meanwhile Frank and the others were in Marcy's and KJ's old home to stay out of the rain which frustrated them as they hoped that Anne was okay.
Riding along the muddy road, Ash was peddling as hard as he could, he was forced fully on making sure Pikachu was fine.
"Don't worry Pikachu, we will get to the Pokemon Center, there we will heal you, Anne, Joe, Eevee, and Fennekin." Ash promised. The light rain drops got harder, and a strike of lightning hit the sky. "Oh come on!" Ash shouted, this is the worst possible start ever. The shock of the lightning present made Serena jump, and that jump threw the bike off balance.
"Ash I'm losing my balance!" Serena shouted, Kyra tried to help Serena get back in sync with the bike only to lose her own balance in the process tipping it more. Ash tried to help them both only for the bike to fell at it's side. Serena flew off first and banged her head against a rock. It wasn't enough to make her bleed to their relief that Serena didn't get hurt too bad but she was certainly knocked out cold. Pikachu and Anne also flew out of the basket as the rolled over the ground. Kyra fell off the bike only a few feet. While Ash managed to stay on the bike, but it was on the side, as it hit the ground, Ash grunted in pain. It took him and Kyra to come too they were a little dizzy from the crash.
"Serena… Pikachu…" Ash thought. "Anne!" Kyra shouted in worry thinking she got hurt. Both Ash and Kyra crawled over to both of their starters. Anne got up as she hopped towards Kyra showing her she was alright. However Pikachu was still lying on the ground as he weakly looked at Ash. The Spearow screeched again. This made them worried what was going to happen next. Kyra got out the blue calamity ball as Professor Oak decided to call it years ago while researching the unknown origin of those Pokeballs she got for her birthday years ago. Flashback: All Professor Oak can concluded with the pokeball maker in Johto that goes by the name Kurt. He deduced that Pokeballs were made by legendary Pokemon and a unknown material he was never able to identify he concluded since he heard of stories of the golden pokeball Kyra had was made by Hoho. The Scarlet pokeball was made by the legendary pokemon Groudon, Kyogure, and the green pokeball was created by Raquazar do to stories from Hoenn. In Sinnoh stories Palkia created a pink pokeball, Daialga, a blue one, and Garatina a lime green one. In Unova the black pokeball was created by the three legendary swords of justice Pokemon, the yellow pokeball created by Zecrom and the red pokeball was created by Reshairam. In Kalos the rose pokeball was created by the life Pokemon, the destruction Pokemon and the balance Pokemon. The orange pokeball was created by the tapus and the crimson pokeball was created by the sun and moon. Kurt tried to dismantle it but couldn't as well as teleport the Pokeballs to Professor Oaks lab. He had a mail carrier return them. Kyra decided to keep them she though someday it would reveal to her what they would be used for. Present: Kyra set the blue calamity ball down as Ash put down Pikachu's pokeball on the ground. "Don't worry Pikachu." Ash told his starter. "I'm going to sort this out."
"Anne, I'm going to try and calm down the Spearow one more time please get into the pokeball so you can be safe." Kyra told Anne.
"Just please go in your pokeball." Ash pleaded.
"We both you two are scared, but it's the only way to keep her safe. We're sorry." Ash and Kyra said in sync. Right before both of them limped towards the army of Spearows.
"Spearow's!" Ash and Kyra shouted catching their attention, it was to the point, Serena came to. "Our names are Ash and Kyra Ketchum, from Pallet Town. We are going to be Pokemon Masters. We aren't going to be defeated by the likes of you. We the Ketchum siblings are going to catch and beat every single one of you." A lightning bolt striked down between the two sides.
"Now. COME. AND. GET. US! Ash and Kyra shouted, and with that the Spearow's dive bombed at Ash and Kyra. Serena and Anne looked worried for them, they felt helpless, Serena couldn't make it over there in time. Why was she so weak, again Ash and Kyra are protecting her. Why does this always happen? Serena have tears in her eyes as the Spearow's were attacking Kyra first to try and distract them. Kyra put her arms up to protect herself from the vicious assault from the Spearow's.
Anne however felt regret for not helping them sooner if she had fought against the leader and beat it none of this would be happening. She looked at her trainer/friend that was getting brutally assaulted from those stupid birds. It made her really angry at them and also herself for going with the flow. She was always afraid of making decisions when she was still human back in her world. She remembers always following her friends lead since it was easier for her. Now she regretted throwing her friendship with Frank instead of defending him when Sasha threatened to end their friendship if she didn't leave Frank. She now realized that maybe she was being unfair with her friends for adding pressure of them to make decisions for her. Now she and her friends were paying the price for stealing that box, they are trapped in this world and now turn into Pokemon creatures. Right now Kyra's paying for her mistakes and probably gonna cost her own life. For the first time in her life she was going to make the first decision she ever made in her life. She wasn't going to let her first friend she made in this world be mauled by a bunch of stupid angry birds.
"Pika, pika pika pika pika!" Pikachu repeated as he ran towards his trainer side. He and Anne jumped from the floor and onto their trainer's shoulders, We are going to protect them. Anne and Pikachu thought in union. Ash and Kyra were surprised for the sudden weight on their shoulders. "ANNE!" "PIKACHU!" While the Spearow's now noticed Ash some went towards Ash while the others continue to attack Kyra. Without anyone noticing Anne's eyes turn blue as she jumped up really high in that moment there were an army of Anne's that were the same size as the army as she unleashed a powerful bubble attack which was the strongest she used so far. Causing the Spearow's to be flew a few feet back as Pikachu launched a powerful thunder shock that was fueled by the lightning when it struck his body giving him a power boost he needed to send the Spearow's flying creating an explosion.
Double Team: The move that can make copies of the user.
Lightning Rod: This ability draws in all nearby electricity to boost the power of a Pokemon. Both of their Pokédex's said.
The explosion knocked away Ash, Kyra while she caught the Anne when her clones disappeared. Pikachu went flying in the same direction, Serena ended up be re knocked out, the army of Spearow's either defeated or flew away. Misty's bike ended up being fried. It was finally over.
Ash and Kyra groggily came to. Their visions were cloudy, they can barely make out the background, must be the sky. They blinked a couple of times that is helping them to see more clearly now. Ash noticed his head was on something soft, well softer then the ground should be, Kyra was lying on a sleeping bag as she notices Anne looking at her. They noticed the storm had past since the sky was now clear, it had must had been some time since the storm passed. Serena was towering over Ash, from top of his head, his head was resting on her knee.
"Urr… Ser-ena." Ash spoke slowly. "Uhm.. An-ne Kyra spoke slowly too seeing the blue frog Pokemon.
"Kyra your awake. I'm glad you are alright." Anne said with great relief. "Ash your awake." Serena excitedly exclaimed. She woke up an half an hour before hand, she did noticed Anne got Kyra's sleeping bag out as she dragged her towards it so she could get Kyra comfortable. Anne then got out the first aid kit as she was dressing Kyra's wounds from the Spearow's. Serena decided to help Anne dress Kyra's wounds as well as Ash's scapes and bruises he got it wasn't big of a deal as Kyra's wounds. Anne taught her how to use the medical supplies in the first aid kit. Which helped her a lot. They noticed the scars on her face one down to her right eye and a short ones on her right cheek, one towards her mouth, and last one was located at the left side of her mouth. They dressed the wounds on her face, they removed her shirt which was in shreds while removing her jacket as they dressed her wounds towards her chest they weren't as bad as they originally thought so that was good. As they examined her arms and upper hands. They noticed they were both slashed badly as they did quick work it was a miracle that their wasn't blood coming out of the wounds she received from those Spearow's. Serena noticed that her left arm was broken due to the assault. Anne suggested a sling for now until they could get Kyra to a doctor. They both worried that Ash and Kyra had given their lives to save Pikachu and the two of them from those vicious Spearow's. They both wondered why they both had to be so selfless, it was one of Serena's favorite qualities towards them. They almost lost both of them today they knew this can't happen again.
Ash and Kyra slowly sat up but to Kyra's surprise she felt sharp pain all over her body "owwwwccccchhhh!!" Kyra shouted in pain. As she looked down towards her body that was wrapped in bandages while her left arm was in a sling which made her mind go blank. Ash turned towards Serena while Kyra looked at Anne. What happened next surprised them Ash got slapped by Serena. Anne's face was all red as she shouted loudly "KKKKKYYYYRRRRAAAA!!!" Ash thought about getting slapped two times today. While Kyra was concerned for her friends reaction. With them getting chased and attacked by the Spearow's to drowning and lightning bolt that striked Ash's face. This was not there day. Ash held his cheek in pain while Kyra recoil back from the sudden outburst that she got from Anne. Kyra never knew that Anne had a very loud voice when angered. This made her shrink down in fear of her friend only a little bit though.
"AWW!" Ash groaned in pain. "What was that…" Ash went to ask, but was cut off when Serena talked him into a giant hug, the tight grip hurt him and his swore body, but he was too shocked to even feel it. Serena just broke down.
"Anne what is this about?" Kyra asked why she yelled at her like that. "You jerk!" Anne said as she tackled Kyra into a hug. Kyra got Anne close to her bandaged body as she hugged her trying to comfort the little blue frog Pokemon. "I…I'm sorry Kyra if it hadn't been for me you wouldn't been hurt so badly. Why did you try to save someone like me! What you did was reckless! We almost lost you and Ash today!" Anne said crying with tears in her eyes.
"Anne, I protected you because I care about your well being and your my friend. If the situation was in reverse I know you would have done the same." Kyra said with a warm smile. This made Anne feel more guilty.
"You shouldn't have wasted your time as someone selfish as me." Anne commented. Which puzzled Kyra.
"Why would you think that you saved me twice from wild Pokemon. On top of it you dressed my wounds." Kyra tried to convince Anne.
"I only did that because I still needed you help to get back to my world and body. Plus Serena helped with your wounds since I'm too small to do it. You don't get it I used you!" Anne shouted.
"Besides it's my fault that I'm stuck in this world." Anne said lowering her head with tears.
Kyra started at her before continuing what to say next: "Look Anne, to be fair I knew you wanted to come with me so you can get home that was our agreement. Plus I know your guilty about that but, it was my decision to help you. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. Why do you mean when said it was your fault?" Kyra asked.
Anne sighed since there was no turning back now. "The day I arrived in your world was the day of my 13th birthday. Me, my friends Sasha and Darrel skipped the rest of the school day to celebrate. Later Marcy another friend of mine text Sasha a weird music box for a birthday gift for me. Then Sasha and Marcy dared me to steal the box from my ex-friend's family store. Frank saw me shoplifting and we ran away as fast as we can my friends Ivan and KJ had arrived when we ran from Frank. We ended up at the park we used to hang out as kids. It got worse when Sasha was arguing with Frank as he now totally hates me now. Then my twin brother Andy and my other friends Ethan and Tyler arrived. Andy, Tyler, and Ethan looked so disappointed. While my brother tried to defuse the situation. I opened the box that's how I end up here." Anne said still crying.
Kyra didn't know what to say with this new information. "Did you want to steal the music box?" Kyra asked.
"No, I didn't want too. If I didn't do it they would have stopped being friends with me like we did with Frank. I felt like I didn't have a choice. My friends are also stuck in this world. Frank and me were here for a week to survive in this world. We split up to look for food to eat and get help. That's when I met you Kyra."
Kyra decided to think for a bit of what to do. "Alright Anne I'll help you find your friends and bring you guys home. I'll try to convince Ash and Serena to back track on route one to look for Frank. For the time being we got to stop at Viridian City to help Pikachu and for to go see a doctor first before we do anything else. I promise Anne I will get your friends home." Kyra said with conviction in her voice which Anne smiled.
"As she said thank you."
Serena continued to talk: "You… stupid, ridiculous, immature, stupid idiot."Serena cried as she thumped her fist weakly against his chest. "You and Kyra could have died. If…Pikachu and Anne didn't." More tears rolled out her eyes, on to Ash. Ash was upset, he just wanted to protect Pikachu and Serena like Kyra was trying to protect all of us was that so wrong? All though he is concerned for her little sister's condition since her upper body and some of her face is bandaged up.
"…Sorry…"Ash muttered sadly. With this, Serena reluctantly let go, and dried her eyes. Pikachu had woken up and weakly walked over to Ash, who picked him up in his arms, and cradled him like a baby. "Thank you Pikachu… How are you holding up?"
"Never… Better… Pikachu panted as he relaxed in Ash's arm where he had a scratch from the day's events. It can't be the same for his sister since her injuries were more severe then his. Ash felt guilty for being responsible for Kyra getting injured in the first place. Ash smiled again when he realized Pikachu has accepted him.
"Hey Sis, How are you holding up?" Ash asked in worry. Well mentally I'm alright can't be the same for my body though. Anne and me just finished our talk and I'm calming her down now. Kyra said.
"Ash…" Serena spoke, causing the raven hair boy to look at her. "You and Kyra can't do this again. You two could have died with those Spearow attack, and you and Kyra WOULD HAVE, if Pikachu and Anne hadn't my point is, I know you two like to protect everyone. But were on this journey together, and we want to protect you too. Just like you want to protect us. Serena was being serious.
"Serena… I…" Ash tried to reply.
"Please…Serena…" Kyra tried to reason with her friend.
"No Ash and Kyra. Don't say your sorry, because we know if a situation comes up again, you two would do the same thing again." Serena scolded them both. Here, she put her hand on his hand and pulled out, she turned it around and lay her hand on top of his. "I want you to make a promise. A promise that you want to sacrifice yourself again. And no matter trials come up, we face them together." Ash looked in to Serena's eyes. Ash nodded.
Anne looked at Kyra with a serious expression. "You too Kyra! I can't lose you, you got to promise too! You can't just go head first into danger situations. You got seriously injured because you decided to take on all these Spearow's without any help. Kyra you have to understand we are in this together no matter what obstacles we face along the way we're gonna get through it together." Anne said with conviction.
Kyra thought for a moment she didn't want Anne to worry about her. She had to admit maybe she was being reckless as her brother and it almost cost her life. Besides her and Anne are going to take the Indigo League by storm. Kyra also wants to help Anne find her friends too.
"I promise Anne that I won't be as reckless as I was today. After all Kyranne against the world." Kyra hold her non broken arm towards her.
Anne smiled as she holds out her small frog hand towards Kyra as they both shake hands as this is a start of a beautiful partnership.
"I promise. Ash promised. With that the two trainers stood up, with Pikachu in his arms. Serena helped Kyra up while she still hold Anne with her arm. Serena finished putting Kyra's sleeping bag and medical kit. We should go to the Pokemon Center." Serena nodded and as they started there journey, albeit at a slow pace do to them being exhausted and wounded.
"Hey Ash… Look up." "Kyra there's a golden bird flying above us." As Pikachu and Anne pointed at the sky as they told their trainers. Ash, Kyra, and Serena followed the mouse and frog Pokemon's direction as they looked to the sky, it was flying towards a rainbow, it looked magical. Ash, Kyra, and Serena brought out their Pokédex's: "To far to register. All three Pokédexs spoke in union. Before they kept walking a rainbow feather fell out of the sky as Anne caught it.
"What kind of feather is this?" Anne asked. "I don't know Anne but one day will meet that Pokemon again someday to find out." Kyra said.
"You won't be doing this alone Sis you'll have me, Serena, and our Pokemon will help." Ash encourage his sister.
"Ash is right will figure out together just the three of us." Serena said.
With that they made their way, to Viridian City.
