[2001, The Fortress]
A blue palace in space. Features a red carpet in the center of the stage surrounded by statues of women and mythological creatures and by stone steles. The Earth can be seen behind the windows in the background.
The K' team and Kula were being beaten by Igniz. Igniz was gonna kill K', when suddenly he was kicked by a mysterious figure.
She is a busty [bustier than Mai Shiranui, Angel and Shermie, slender, curvy and beautiful woman of above-average height and pale complexion. She had long white hair that reaches down to her knees and purple eyes. She wears a light blue sleeveless shirt under a white short sleeve button shirt with a red laced ribbon at the center of her collar, light blue skirt, black compression shorts underneath, white socks, and blue and white sneakers.
K': Who are you?
Azalea: I'm Azalea. I need you to charge your Heat Drive enough power to defeat him, I'll distract him.
K': He's gonna kill you, how will you kill a god?
Azalea: He's not a god, just do as I say.
K' charged up a flame in his hand and continued charging his flame.
Igniz extended his whip to strike Azalea, but she dodged and grabbed the whip and slammed Igniz into the ground, followed up by delivering a powerful punch to the face.
Igniz got on his feet and threw out an energy ball towards Azalea, who created a icy wall in front of her, when the energy ball hit the icy wall, it didn't damage the icy wall.
Igniz swiped his arm down, creating angled energy pillars, launching them towards Azalea, who just created a icy barrier around herself, protecting herself from the pillars.
Igniz created 4 energy balls, then exploded them at Azalea, who just kept on her indestructible icy barrier on, protecting her from the explosions.
Igniz flew at Azalea and drove her into the wall. He then slashed her with his whip, stabbing her repeatedly with his cape, he then created 4 energy balls, then exploded them at Azalea and finished with an overhead energy ball attack. Azalea didn't have a single scratch on her.
Igniz created a glass sphere around Azalea, superimposing a galaxy with a projectile before using his power to shatter it. Azalea still appeared to have no scratch.
K' dashed forward and punched Igniz, making him explode once he hit him. Igniz was stunned by the attack.
Azalea opened her palm and conjured a stronger white hole that covered the area. Igniz got hit eight times from the matter that got drawn in.
Azalea kneeled before Igniz and her light powers trapped Igniz before she punched the ground and unleashed a white hole that covered the area. Igniz got sealed within the white hole and got hit sixteen times from the matter that got drawn in before a bright light engulfed the area, when the light died down, Igniz dropped hard onto the floor while Azalea turned her back on him. Igniz was revealed to be defeated.
Igniz: No to be defeated by my own creations and a mere girl.
Azalea: You were destined to lose. There are those those who are destined to be gods and there are those who are destined to be the regulars.

He suddenly opened his eyes and turned around himself and saw a person who looked like a statue.
Shin: Who are you?
Mukai: I'm Mukai, I came here to see who possessed such an incredible amount of energy. It is very calm.
Shin: Since you introduced yourself, I'll introduce myself too. I'm Shin, I have a feeling that you're not here to only talk with me.
Mukai: Right, I'm here to test your abilities. How about a fight.
Shin got on his feet and got in his fighting stance, Mukai did the same too.
Mukai slammed his foot to the floor with an axe kick, creating a carved cylindrical pillar from the ground, which Shin dodged by jumping into the air, then he launched a small ball of chi towards Mukai, exploding on impact. Mukai was revealed to be unscathed by the attack, impressing Shin.

Shin rushed towards Mukai and started hitting him with a onslaught of punches while they were surrounded by energy before creating a duplicate of himself that put Mukai in a headlock and the real Shin jumped into the air and formed 3 white balls of chi and launched them towards Mukai in one huge beam of chi, creating an explosion. Mukai was wounded by the attack, but he still got on his feet and the duplicate of Shin disappeared.
Mukai stomped his foot to the ground to create a pillar that shot out of the ground beneath Shin's feet to harm Shin and sent him flying. He spun around while in mid-air and swiftly landed on his feet.
Mukai stomped his foot to the ground to drop a pillar from the sky that fell on top of Shin but he teleported himself away from the falling pillar and reappeared behind Mukai. He pushed Mukai before sweeping the Mukai's legs with his hand to trip him over, tripping him.
Mukai stomped his foot to the ground to create three pillars that shot out of the ground beneath Shin's feet to harm the Shin and sent him flying. Shin landed on his feet and delivered a downward slap with his hands while they are surrounded with energy, sending Mukai a couple of feet away. He then charged at Mukai and tried punching him with a chi infused punch but Mukai evaded the punch and grabbed Shin with one hand and sent a small wave of energy up his arm that turned Shin to stone.
Shin returned to normal after being turned to stone and created a duplicate of himself which delivered a rising spinning uppercut to Mukai who was unscathed by the attack.
Mukai unleashed a large wave of petrifying energy all around him into the area around him, damaging Shin who was touched by the petrifying energy, turning him into stone.
Shin returned to normal after being turned to stone.
Shin: I should probably avoid that attack, I have feeling he will destroy my statue next time. Time to end this.
Shin launched a large number of white balls of energy from his hands before creating a white energy tornado that burned Mukai and launched him high into the air. He then fired out a large wave of chi from his hands towards Mukai, who was hit by the wave, creating a massive explosion. When the smoke died down, Mukai was revealed to be defeated.
Shin: The weakness of your mind, your inner discord... The mirror reveals all.
Mukai: How can I be defeated by a mere boy. Such amazing power that humans possess, I better go.
Mukai teleported himself away from the area, Shin just looked at the place where Mukai was in.
Shin: I just proved myself that I am the best. I guess I better get going, it's gonna take years before we see each other again sister.
Shin floated into the air and flew to a random location.
[Before the XI tournament]
In the forest, there were two young man walking.

He wears a a short, half-buttoned, sleeveless black coat with gold buttons, a large thinly white crescent moon crest marked on the back that represents the Yasakani clan, and open slits from his sleeves, a large-collared white shirt that was tucked in and was half-buttoned to expose his chest, red pants with a belt attached to each of his knees, a large black belt with a gold buckle, a smaller black belt that hangs loose on the side of his hip, tan shoes with black buckles, a black choker, and a black necklace. He was Yasakani.
The second one was young adult Japanese male with a defined physique and a brown parted haircut with brown eyes. He wears an unzipped black motorcycle jacket with the Kusanagi crest marked on his back, white shirt with a black racing stripe, a pair of black jeans, brown shoes, and a long brown belt that hangs out from the side of his hip like a tail. Having the Kusanagi crest marked on each of the unzipped part of his jacket sleeves and a gold stripe each on a pair of fingerless biker gloves. He was Ryoma Kusanagi.
Yasakani: Ryoma, are you really that were not lost.
Ryoma: I know this forest man, we can never get lost.
Then the two of them saw a strange woman walking in an unknown location. Yasakani quickly followed her and Ryoma was confused and quickly followed his best friend.
Ryoma: Why are you following the woman? Don't tell me that you suddenly fell in love with a person you don't know?
Yasakani: Something is strange with that woman and I want to find out what is this strange feeling in my guts.
The two of them followed the strange woman until they reached a dark palace. The two of them got inside the palace undetected.
[Vessel Room]
A room of an evil palace. Can be seen small craters all over the scene, emanating an evil lava, besides two stairs, an energy ball in the center of a hole and a terrace. Botan had just arrived to her master.
Saiki: Botan, right. Where is Magaki?
Botan: Magaki is on his way, Milord.
Saiki: The two of you can show yourselves.
Yasakani and Ryoma showed themselves.
Yasakani: Who are you?
Saiki: I am the Supreme entity of power.
Yasakani: [Chuckling] Ryoma, do you hear this fool.
Ryoma: [Chuckling] I heard him.
Then a group of people appeared behind Saiki, Yasakani and Ryoma got serious.
Saiki: You fools attack them.
The group charged at Ryoma and Yasakani, who both grinned and charged at the rest of the group and started beating them up.
[A minute later]
Ryoma and Yasakani were in the middle of the unconscious bodies without any scratches on their bodies.
Saiki: I guess I'll have to finish the job myself.
Saiki walked forward and got in front of Ryoma and Yasakani.
Yasakani: I'll deal with him, you just stop everyone from interfering.
Ryoma: Right
Yasakani got in his fighting stance.
Yasakani: Why do I sense the Orochi power? Spit it out, or else...
Saiki: Don't ask me. I don't know either. Never mind that, anyway. How about you and me have a little fun before you leave, eh? I'll even make it cheap for you. All I'll take is your life! What could be cheaper?
Yasakani: Your own life, maybe? I'll use that as an advance payment.
Saiki did a flip kick with his legs coated in darkness and he launched Yasakani into the air before teleporting behind him and kicked him in the back of the Yasakani's head before teleporting above him to stomp him down to the ground but Yasakani rolled away and waved his arm to throw a large slow-moving purple fireball at Saiki, who dodged it.
Saiki delivered a spin kick to Yasakani's head, sending him a few feet away.
Yasakani grabbed Saiki and threw him behind him and uppercutted Saiki twice before leaping up and slammed his fists into Saiki.
Saiki got on his feet and waved his arm to throw a large slow-moving ball of darkness at Yasakani who countered with his own purple fireball, creating an explosion.
Saiki closed the distance between him and Yasakani by teleporting right in front of him, he then
teleported above Yasakani and stomped him in the head before grinding his foot against his head while he was on the ground and kicked Yasakani away.
Yasakani got on his feet and dashed forward and swinged his arm to slash Saiki with his hands, he then swinged his arm around and slashed Saiki's stomach with his hands, followed up by reaching up and slashing Saiki with his hands.
Yasakani then grabbed Saiki by his neck and slammed him to the ground behind him.
Saiki got on his feet and waved his arm twice to create an extra powerful ball of darkness that he launched at Yasakani, who countered with his own fireball, creating a huge explosion.
Saiki transformed into Awakened Saiki before launching a large number of balls of darkness from his hands that coated the area around him, harming Yasakani.
Yasakani got on his feet and dashed at Saiki before repeatedly slashing and scratching Saiki before Yasakani lifted Saiki in the air akin to a cross-chokehold and nearly ripped him apart him in an X-shaped motion . Saiki got on his feet.
Saiki: Why don't we stop holding back.
Yasakani: Let's do this.
Saiki transformed into his awakened form.
Yasakani started coughing blood and he suddenly hunched over. His hair turned maroon and his skin turned purple, when he opened his eyes, they were golden. His body was twitching violently.
Both Awakened Saiki and Orochi Yasakani charged at each other and an explosion erupted.
Meanwhile, Ryoma was watching the battle, he jumped into the air, dodging a blue projectile before spinning while in mid-air and swiftly landed on his feet. He looked behind himself and saw a white haired man wearing a suit.
Ryoma: Who are you?
Magaki: I'm not gonna tell a stupid trash like you. Humans are trash after all. Mukai would no doubt have this to say: "Upon it's return, I will give the power of Orochi to my master. Now then, my sacrificial lambs... I will offer you up to the Great Orochi!" DIE!
Magaki changed his body from a human form to a monstrous form.
Ryoma threw a fiery projectile that ran across the floor towards Magaki, who created a barrier of exploding Dimension Spheres in front of him, extinguishing the fiery projectile.
Magaki fired a pink ball that traveled forward, then got into a portal which redirected the ball overhead Ryoma, who dodged it by rolling away before running at Magaki, grabbed him by his neck, then made a fiery explosion.
Magaki got on his feet and fired 5 pink balls that traveled forward, then got into a portal which redirected the ball behind Ryoma, who charged flames in his rear hand, then threw them out in a big wave towards the 5 pink balls, creating an explosion.
Magaki teleports directly behind Ryoma and raised his arms, then used his trademark power to completely warp the fabric of timespace to annihilate Ryoma, he was hit but not annihilated.
Magaki created a translucent blue projectile that floated on the air and launched it on top of Ryoma, who dodged the projectile by rolling away.
Ryoma jumped and swung his back leg around for an overhead kick, hitting Magaki on top of the head before turning around, charging his fist with a flame and spun around before delivering a explosive left hook, burning Magaki.
Ryoma threw a large fiery projectile at Magaki, stunning him. He followed up with 2 flaming punches and ended with a flaming tornado that imbued the Kusanagi clan logo above him.
Ryoma then created a pillar of flames around Magaki, then punched Magaki away with a rear hook, creating 4 afterimages of himself in the process.
Ryoma rushed towards Magaki and grabbed him, creating an explosion, barraged him with strikes while on fire ending off by delivering a double high kick while still on fire before throwing the flames out in a big wave of flames, launching Magaki towards a wall. Magaki was revealed to be unconscious. Ryoma looked towards Yasakani and Saiki's fight.
Yasakani and Saiki were trading blows, with no one having the upper hand. Yasakani surrounded his arms with purple flames before spinning and jumping, burning Saiki when he touched him.
Saiki created ball of darkness that fell down on top of Saiki and binded him to the ground in a web of darkness.
Saiki then grabbed Yasakani before repeatedly punching him on the chest.
Yasakani got on his feet and sent multiple pillars of purple flames that briefly turned crimson at Saiki who countered by sending his own pillars of darkness, creating an explosion.
Awakened Saiki created a large big ball of darkness that he threw at Yasakani who countered by creating a large big purple fireball that he threw at Saiki's ball of darkness, creating an explosion.
Awakened Saiki created a ball of darkness that fell down on top of Yasakani and binded him to the ground in a web of darkness.
Awakened Saiki touched the ground to cause an eruption of darkness all around the area, harming Yasakani.
Yasakani got on his feet and Saiki was in disbelief.
Yasakani got into a frenzy with flames in both hands, then jumped at Awakened Saiki and slammed his head into the ground and exploded him with his purple flames, followed up by delivering a massive upward slice, eviscerating Saiki.
Yasakani dashed across the area, grabbed Saiki in the face and slammed him onto the floor (which is garnished nicely by the Yasakani family's moon emblem), and nearly incinerated him to ashes while letting out a blood-curdling scream. Yasakani then leaped into the air and threw out a massive heatwave of purple flames, nearly incinerating Awakened Saiki in the process with an evil smile on his face.
Awakened Saiki was on his knees, seemingly defeated.
Awakened Saiki: What is the name of the warrior that defeated me?
Yasakani: Yasakani of the Yagami clan, formerly known as the Yasakani clan.
Awakened Saiki: Thanks for telling me, but I'm not gonna be the one to fall first.
Time suddenly stopped. When time resumed, Awakened Saiki summoned a wave of darkness that erupted from the ground to the entire area. When the attack died down, Yasakani was on his, back in his normal form along with Saiki who had reverted back to normal.
Yasakani: The damn weakness of the riot of the blood state.
Then Yasakani and Saiki fell to the ground at the same time and the both of them lost consciousness. Ryoma rushed towards Yasakani and put him on his shoulders before running towards the exit of the dark palace.
[A hour later, The forest]
Yasakani regained consciousness in the middle of the forest, he opened his blue eye and crimson eye which was hidden by his from the viewpoint by his hair and saw himself in the middle of the forest, he got on his feet and saw Ryoma training very hard.
Yasakani: Kusanagi, where are we?
Ryoma: Were in the middle of the forest. What should we do?
Yasakani: We continue our journey. I have a feeling that I will find a way to uplift the curse, let's go.
Ryoma: Right.
The two of them continued their journey.
[Before the KOF XII tournament]
In the destroyed laboratory of the NESTS CARTEL, there was a pod buried by two large boulders, then a huge fiery explosion of crimson flames took place, when the smoke died down, everything was on fire and the pod was destroyed. A boy was standing in the middle of the fiery landscape.
He is a handsome, tan boy with chin length white hair, purple eyes and his body build was lean but still muscular. He wore an unzipped black motorcycle jacket with silver metal studs with a white text on the back saying "The beast of prey", black shirt, black jeans, black belt, and black shoes. He wore black metal gloves. He also wore a black bandana on his head and sunglasses.
Kris: So I'm finally free, a lot of things happened while I was still in that pod. From my calculations, they're gonna have another King Of Fighters tournament, I better participate in it to test my powers.
He then started walking away.
[The finals of the KOF XII tournament]
Stadium
A big stadium. It's day and can be seen spotlights, a crowd, various flags, an amusement park and a screen showing the fight, in the background. Also can be spotted the game's name and logo in a zeppelin, in the ground and under the screen. The fighters were even there to watch the final and so far they were impressed, some of the fighters that fought Kris were in pain because Kris didn't show them any mercy. Kyo tried everything to defeat Kris, but didn't work. So far the fight was a one sided beating.
Kyo was on his knees, struggling to get on his feet. He had received a deadly beating from Kris.
Kris threw his sunglasses at Kyo. When they hit Kyo, Kris teleported over to Kyo and hit him with his elbow before putting on his sunglasses and rapidly beat Kyo with punches and kicks before finishing by retreating to the shadows before decimating Kyo with his Heat Drive, charging past Kyo while delivering an explosive punch. Kyo was on his knees, very weakened.
Kris: You managed to survive one of my deadliest technique Kyo, but you should give up before I hit you with my dangerous technique.
Kyo: Never.
Kris: Suit yourself.
Kris took off the glove on his left hand and released a very hot, powerful flame that made the temperature in the air rise to unspeakable level, everyone were sweating very hard. Kyo got scared when he felt the heat of the flame, then a huge fiery explosion engulfed the stadium in one huge explosion. When the smoke died down, the fighting stage was completely destroyed. Kyo was unconscious with major burns while Kris was still on his feet with his flames flaring up dangerously, Kris wore the glove again and the temperature returned back to normal.
Announcer: WINNER! THE NEW KING OF FIGHTERS IS KRIS!
Kris received his prices and after receiving them, he was getting interviewed by an interviewer.
Interviewer: What is your aspiration in this competition?
Kris: It's natural to participate, but I just wanted to test my powers after being in that hellhole for my entire life.
Interviewer: Who would you like to fight the most?
Kris: No one, the fights were all boring.
Interviewer: Who would you like to team up with?
Kris: No one.
Interviewer: What is "KOF" for you?
Kris: To me, KOF is just a disaster waiting to happen.
Interviewer: Finally, please give a word to your fans.
Kris: Everyone wants it, but there's no shortcut to freedom.
Kris disappeared and reappeared far away from everyone and started walking away with his prizes.

A portal appeared in the middle of the forest and out of it came out Ashura, he still hasn't changed much but his crimson eyes were darker than before.

Ashura: It's time to prove to everyone who is the strongest in the world.
