Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. this one is about Gundam. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Gundam, Sunrise and a few others do.

All Gundams were unique, all brought immense joy to their use if not fear to their enemies and all such things.

Whatever the monsters in the shadows? Gundams faced them, Gundams always faced them… Yet? they were so eager to serve, always eager to fight, always ready to try and fight with the massive armed robots and they were all too unsure of what to do at the time.

Such options failed them as they failed everyone sooner or later… So too then would their future failure, as a result, be stripped and matted away, unsure entirely of what may or may not come as a result of not being able to rely on the Gundams.

Still? Without the Gundams? Who may or may not be able to turn the tide of their war and yet? they had to.

Above Earth floated dozens of kilometer-wise battleships, all armed to the teeth with all manner of weapons and armaments that would bring death and chaos to anyone on the other end of their terrifying wrath. Yet? They would all be tested sooner or later. They had a lot more to do before they could properly engage their enemy.

Upon these battleships were dozens of soldiers, all of whom awaited deployment.

"I heard the empress will soon make her move… Are we going to be ready for when he or the lord launch their attack? I don't know what they're going to be able to do when her fleet mobilizes." One of the soldiers said before another simply rolled his eyes, tired and yet worn down.

"We die, just like every fleet that's done so. We can't do anything but run away from them and the last thing we need is for them to attack the Arcadia. The second they do that? We all die, every single soldier that fights the empress and her forces dies." The soldier stated before falling silent.

"Don't be such a downer. We all know it's not that terrifying to deal with." He stated before he looked upwards and felt more and more dread fall over him at the end of the day, utterly unsure, utterly willing to relax, and not at all hopeful of what was coming before now.

"We're going to be relaxed at the time being. I just want you to try and relax. There's a lot more to try and do, I want you to know that and I want you to know whatever comes next must be handled properly." The soldier stated before he frowned and looked down at the ground.

There was almost no reason behind what he was thinking, no real feeling besides emotion and terror in its purest form, and utterly did it terrify him over and over as he slowly started to think more and more at the end of the day and yet he was all too worried about what would come… What was going to happen and how well it'd end if nothing else? The terror in his eyes was still as real as everything else.

The empress hunted them, her reach, her forces vaster than the regions of space they occupied over and over again. It was just more and more horrid and more and more did it worry him what would happen if they were found.

"Do you think that you'd be able to try and relax if she showed up? She shows up and half our fleet will be trashed before reinforcements show up. There's a lot more to deal with like the fact we're almost entirely boxed in, numbers won't matter." The soldier said before he sighed and slowly began to realize something.

They were at the end of their rope. Even if they managed to win? Someone would come and cause more and more problems and even if they managed to deal with the fleet. The empress still had more and more tricks up her sleeve, utterly exhausted at the end of the day.

Still? More and more did they need to relax and it was tiresome for them to remain on edge at the end of the day before it ended. They needed allies and they needed a symbol to be behind before they were able to relax at the moment.

Author Notes

Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be a bit delayed. I don't know which universe this Gundam story is set in so I'll put up a poll. The next chapter is 900-6500 words and will be in 2-10 months and show what is going on. Until then? Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Next chapter will be much longer.
