I was in the merry-go-round and I saw you with that deathly eyes. But, I felt a sorrow on them like waiting for the God's Plan. Suddenly our eyes are met, guiding me into the world you formed. I was wondering what happened to us. As you whispered to me, asking me if I wanted another round? - Seven years old, Albert Wesker.
Merry-go-round
"Do you have any childhood memories that attached you? Leaving you with a feelings like... I want to go back to that time once again?"
"Childhood?" He turn around, gazing at his partner who had just drying his hair with hairdryer.
His partner smiled at him. Stroking Albert's silky hair, admired them. "I have one. I was the only one child. Everytime I finished to read a book, my mom would gave me Pokemon card. It's an ultra rare card, I'm so happy about it! And you? How about you, Al?"
"How do I say this..."
"Well, you don't have to telling me if you're uncomfortable, Al..."
To Albert, childhood memories weren't something he was proud of. It feels so sweet yet so bitter from what he could remembered. It would make him crying in the night trying to figured it out what would happened in the next days. He was living in a life filled with every single kids dream. A bunch of fairy tales books, toys, even attended in a prodigious school. A bunch of maids could make him a delicious cookies, cakes, several beverages all over the country for every days. Interesting isn't it? But, Albert said it was fake. All of them. Every single person he met was fake, even the glamours life he was living (except his partner, because his love this person so much).
He remembered that time when a man who introduced himself as Ozwell Spencer showed up at his home, Albert was three or maybe five. He's from wealthy family, wore a nice suits and like a gentleman.
The last time his parents had talked to that man, he had suddenly been transported to the place he had never been before. It was dark, vague, odd, leading him into a deep sleep.
When Albert woke up, he saw a blonde girl by his side, sitting next to him, holding a rabbit doll. She gazing at him in curiously, it can told from her eyes. She seemed... weird, in Albert's point of view, said something he couldn't understand. He doesn't know who is she. She was never been in his sweet memories, he couldn't find her from them.
"Hey, you awake? My name is Alex." She blinked, talking in playful voices. Her eyes were blue, glowing in the darkness. "You sleeping for three days. Oh, God. I thought you were died."
"Albert..." She pointed at him with a friendly smiles. But, Albert was afraid by her act. "I think, I should tell Spencer that you're awake!"
"Who's Albert?" He murmured. Trying to figured it out.
She shrugged, drowing into confusion. "Your name is Albert, right?"
"My name is not Albert. My name is..."
My name...
is...
who?
And it was the last time he could remember about himself. He suddenly forgot his name, his parents, dreams, friends, a neighborhood who always gave him a sunflower seeds, favorite color and food, his love for flowers and fish. Hugs from mom, Chrismas tree, the smell of rainbow and clouds. It was so fuzzy and mixing up, fading in the air and it almost like a mist, leaving him with a symphony. He can't solved them just like a puzzle that he had always adored. He was so angry but didn't know who to be angry with.
"You are not the only kids in here. Maybe, I'll introduce you to them, Albert. But, you have to do some checking. I don't know what it's about, but... yeah, everyone does that too!" Alex said in friendly tone.
"Uh..."
"Hey, don't be afraid. I'm with you, Albert. You seem like a good kid. I like you!"

"Someone had a good coloring books, huh?"
7 years old Albert nodded. His hands full of several crayons and color pencils. He always think, Alex is an annoying person. He had never considered her as a mutual like she always bragging about. For the rest of a time he spent in this mansion, it always about himself, sometimes he let Alex talking to him but she never got an answers.
Looks like he doesn't like being called Albert by everyone.
"You seem had a weird interest in merry-go-round." She continued. Peeking at what her sibling is doing. "You want to see them with me?"
"How?"
"Good, finally you talking to me! You never answered my question. I'm glad!"
"Because you always said something ridiculous, Alex. Like magic and centaurus."
"Oh, forget about that. But, listen to me! First, they have a merry-go-round in the amusement park. Second, I oftenly went to that place with one or two guardians. But, after Spencer found out, he cut off my schedules with Piano lesson. Well, since Albert is the smarter kids. Maybe you can fooling him..."
"Oh, thank you."
Alex seems offended, she's scowling and snatching one of a color pencil. Albert upturned his head, gazing at her angrily, but he didn't say anything.
"I guess you aren't interested. It's fine, you've always been like that. But, I just want to helping you, Albert."
"I don't need anyone."
"Of course you would said that. Smart kid doesn't need friends. But, I'm concerned about Albert. You've always been sleep talking about the merry-go-round and I think that's bad for you."
"You don't understand."
"We are family, Albert. Families will help each other."
No. Alex.
He remembered the last time he had seen a boy which made Spencer angry. That poor little boy was teasing over Spencer's loyalty. He met Albert for several times in a hallways and library. They both sharing a bitter smile, confusion and hopelessly was flooding all over their bodies.
He's very affectionate, kind and somehow Albert secretly loved his affection. He oftenly gave Albert some candies and chocolates. He also lents Albert a books, coloring books, color pencil or talking about insects, prasing about Albert's intelligent, gave him an extra blanket when Albert has a fever.
That boy was also nice to Alex, the three always had time to studying or playing some games. Alex said he was two or three years older.
At their last meeting. That boy said to Albert. "You're like a little brother to me. I know you hate this place. But, as long as you with me, you'll be safe."
"You make Spencer angry."
"It's okay, Albert. I'll read you a book about Greek Mythology, wait me until tomorrow. Alex can join too."
The next day he suddenly disappeared. Albert was curious about it so he asked the maid who was always took care of him, but she said she had no idea, she's so scared and almost cried it was reflected in her eyes.
Albert was so sad about it, that boy was the only one kid who treated him nicely, actually Alex was nice too but she was too loud. Albert was always waiting for that boy but he never showed up. Alex said he might be transferred to different mansion or school and he shouldn't be worry about it, but Albert cried at that time, all night, every day, so Alex made a weird origami to comforting him, sleeping besides him to avoid a nightmares.
For some reason it works.
It was the first time that Albert was frightened by someone's else power, Spencer can easily get a rid of Albert, like stepping on an insects. So, he always keep this thing in his mind. I'll never make Spencer angry.
"Stop that, Alex. We are not allowed to do that. You know that."
"But, leave it to me! Because, I'm Super Alex!"
"You have no idea!" He staring at Alex with teary eyes. "...how you said those thing so easily!"
Alex is panicking she's waving her hands in the air. Trying to comforting Albert. "You look bad when you're crying. There, there, I'm sorry."
"What are you two doing in here? It's midnight?!"
A man standing behind them in gracefully, irradiated their bodies with his charisma. He was old but attractive, somehow flamboyant, not that tall but he had good proportions. Alex narrowed her eyes and suddenly startled to the back.
"Uh... Uh... Albert losing his color pencil so, he's starting to crying. I'm sorry, Spencer. I'll walking him to his room."
Alex's grabbed her brother's hands and run through the corridors. Her heart is beating so fast, her face turned pale. Albert noticed it because Alex's hands were sweaty but feels so cold.
"Where's Super Alex I heard about a minute ago?"
"Sorry, Albert. Super Alex doesn't work on Lord Spencer."

The next morning Alex woke up earlier, she's sneaking into Albert's room and standing at the door, supervising, watching him while sleeping, waiting patiently. Alex always does that, it just like her daily routines. Sometimes, she concerned about Albert's sleeping habit which had worsened after their friends went missing.
Actually one by one kids in this mansion were missing but she didn't know why. She buried her curiosity on her mind unwilling to asking Spencer or another maids and staff about this case. Just keeping it on her mind is enough. Maybe she could detected a danger. She always had a bad feeling when talking about the chamber.
She remembered about the chamber that Albert had mentioned about during lunch. Albert was very lucky that he wasn't hurt while witnesses that. Last time the other kid talking about that, she went missing in three days.
Alex always pretended to ignoring that story and telling Albert that he being delusional. So, she was playing dumb, fooling him or distracted him with something else.
It's so painful for her to watching Albert being fragile, she wanted to help and escaping from the sadness. She wanted him to happy or at least not being a cry baby.
"Good morning, Albert."
"...Alex? How many times have I told you to not sneaking into my room!?"
"Oh, my bad. I just want to telling you about the Merry-go-round plans."
"I don't... would you mind to stop that?!"
"Our plan is going so well, Albert. Trust me!"
"What do you mean, our? I never agreed to all of these plan!?"
"Why? You must be afraid if Spencer will finds out." She's smiling, holding Albert's hands in lovingly. His hands were so small, warm and soft compared to Alex's and she's secretly love that fact. "Spencer went to Mexico on business trip. So... he's not around until next weeks."
"How do you know that?"
"Well, remember? I'm Super Alex."
It's sounds a great idea and good opportunity for Albert and Alex. He's imagining how great it would be if he could see a merry-go-round with his own eyes, indulge his dreams, dancing with the multiple lights from them. Albert suddenly smiling to himself, it was a brief smiles but Alex noticed it and she's so happy.
"You should thanking me, Albert. But, save it for later. I wouldn't mind it. Albert is smiling. That's enough!"
Alex is turn around, gazing from her shoulders. "Well, I will prepared something. Maybe we will skip lunch so, I'll bring candy and cake!? Or maybe, you wanted another meal?"
"Soda is enough."

After fooling their maids and staff, they both managed to get out from the mansion. Alex gave her brother a scarf and a hoodie to disguised if the maids got suspicious and looking for them.
The two get on the train and holding their hands like a cute brother and sister, other passengers noticed and smiling at them, saying they were cute. For the first time Albert say they were siblings making Alex giggling in amused.
After they're arrived to the amusement park. Albert can't hiding his excitement, he thanking Alex for making them way to this place and he's so grateful.
His eyes were sparkling even bluer than usual, reflected the happiest on his eyes. With a rosy blush on Albert's cheeks, an innocent smile on his face, blonde hair similar to a golden rings, somehow he looks like a little prince from fairy tales.
"What do you think, Albert?"
"I'm... happy!"
After buying tickets they reaching the merry-go-round. Both are sitting on the little white pony. The lights from merry-go-round illuminate Albert's face, revealing his good looking features. His smile could warmed your heart, his gaze could melted you. His figure is a reflection of happiness.
They both laughing, waving, jokingly with each other on the first round, pretending they were doing a horse riding.
But, Albert's eyes caught a woman from a distances. Somehow he bounded with this woman. She just like someone who had missing from his life.
She standing under a tree holding an umbrella to protecting her head. She staring at Albert in horror, silenty and collected. But, when you paying attention, her eyes were empty, looks like something was frightening her, possessed her, trying to manipulate her.
One minutes had passed, she gazing at Albert with sad and sorrow eyes, when Albert realized that, his world is fall, everything is upside down, he can't endure a weird feelings on his chest. Something was burning him from the inside.
Why do she look at me with sad eyes?
Two minute had passed, she stepped forward to reaching Albert and Alex. She needed 15 steps to face the kids. Now, she's crying.
Suddenly Albert feel a pain on his head that he couldn't bear, until he fell into the ground and Alex jumped wildly towards him.
"Are you okay?"
"That's my mom... my mom..."
"What?" She turn around. "Where?"
"That woman... an umbrella."
"Are you sure about-"
Before Alex could finished her sentence. That woman trespassing through the merry-go-round and jumped recklessly towards Alex, hit her so badly in one hard swing over her head with an umbrella. She fainted, whispering Albert's name in pain.
That woman kneel down cupped Albert's face in tears. Her eyes were blue just like Albert's, they have same hair color too.
She is very thin and small, all of the happiness in her was taken away by something evil. A dark circle covered the eyes, a small depression in the eyes was a signature of her mental health.
"I've been looking for you. Where are you, son? I miss you!"
"I don't understand... mom?"
"Yes, I'm your mother... I'm..."
Suddenly that woman fell on the ground after a loud deafening sounds entering the scenes. Albert looking at the floor in horror which was filled with stagnant blood. He noticed there was a big hole in the woman's forehead. Something fell from her palm, she was holding something. It was a pendant with a photo.
Albert took it. It has a tiny photograph framed in a heart shape. Now he could see them clearly. It was him. The younger version of himself with two adults. They were smiling. The image of perfect family.
When Albert woke up from his dream. Back to the reality. He learned one things he couldn't go back.
Someone had killed her...
With a shoot on her forehead. It was a fatal wounds

- 11 years later -
"Albert? You awake?"
"Oh, what is happening?"
"You fainted. Umbrella staff found you and they called me. Oh, I was so scared when I heard that. You might die falling from such height! Your lab coat is messed up. That weird old man gave you a ridiculous assignment again?"
"Alex, give me a water, please..."
"You're dreaming about that tragedy again? I can see from your face. I knew it was so horrible. I'm sorry, I couldn't protect you. If... If... If I noticed Spencer's staff is following us, she wouldn't-"
"No. It wasn't your fault. It was Spencer."
"It was always his fault. We had to get a rid of him, Albert. But as you know we don't have that power. We should have... we should have more power and influence to kill him."
"Not yet, Alex. Maybe not this time. But, I promised you."
"I hope so... and please, don't die until we saw Spencer's funeral..."
Don't die...
...don't die.
...don't
Die?
A/N : Aaah. Finally. Yeeeeeay. I think it's fun to made Alex have a big sister energy and Albert is a clingy little brother around her.
Not much content about Albert and Alex being together and these two committing crimes like the Ashford, haha. So, that's why I write this fanfic. I write them as a kids, because I always curious about their childhood. It's so sad seeing these two have no childhood memory :( They were orphaned because of Spencer's ego. I'm so glad Albert killed him, anyway. Haha.
