Chapter 6 One Chance
A.N. – So, now the fight between humanity and Skynet begins. As time goes on, more and more humans will join to fight so it becomes Xana & humanity. This is also more of an introductory chapter. Skynet will reappear in the next chapter. P.S. – We are not done with the second timeline for good. Occasionally, we will see that side as a small side story.
Short Summary – Erin and Erina appear in Paris exactly six months prior to Xana's destruction. They quickly find a change of clothes and then begin finding a way to convince their parents and friends to keep Xana alive to end Skynet.

Beginning of the Revised Timeline
The time was currently night in Paris. The lights of the city illuminated all streets. In an alley, a blue vortex opened, and no one saw it from the streets that were filled with tourists and citizens. Out of the vortex came Erin and Erina.
"Is it over?" Erina asked.
"I think so," Erin responded, both opening their eyes. "What about John?"
"All we can hope for is that Skynet didn't kill him."
"There's nothing we can do for him now. Only thing we can do now is stop Skynet so he can live his life peacefully."
The two crept quietly to the edge of the alley they appeared in. They saw the streets filled with people.
"Well, so much for landing in a non-populated area."
"At least we didn't enter in middle of the city. There is a clothes store right there. We can use the alleys and then grab a change of clothes there."
"We are here to stop the apocalypse! Not become criminals!" Erina screamed quietly.
"It's just one offense. One crime vs. millions of deaths. I think we both know which is the obvious choice here," Erin explained to her. The two retreated into the alley and made their way over to the clothes store. Luckily for them it was closed, so there would be no one there to stop them. Unfortunately the door was locked. "Of course. Door's locked."
"Look, the window's opened" Erina said pointing to it.
"Boost me up."
"You're kidding right? Your way heavier then me. Boost me up instead."
"Okay, come here." Erin gave his sister a boost up. She entered the building and then found her way to the back door. She unlocked it and let her brother in. The peeked through the door and saw cameras at the door and on a few clothes racks. "Great, cameras pointing at some of the clothes we need."
Erina saw a security door and it was unlocked. She slowly opened it and saw a security guard there. She quietly shushed her brother and crept up to him. She quickly knocked him out and then disabled the security cameras.
"Problem solved" Erina said.
The two then went to grab a quick change of clothes to blend in with the general population. Erin grabbed a pair of underwear as well as jeans, a t-shirt, and socks and shoes. Erina grabbed a bra, a pair of panties, a t-shirt, and a pair of skinny jeans and socks and shoes. Now they were ready to begin their mission.
Back in the current timeline, John was kept alive and now held by chains and guarded by two T-800's. He looked over and saw Skynet working on the terminal.
"Hey asshole! What the hell are you doing!?" John yelled at him.
"Well, look who's finally awake" Skynet responded.
"What the hell are you doing? Where are my men?"
"I don't think you're in the right place to be asking questions. Oh, and your men ran away as soon as my reinforcements showed up. The ones who are the most loyal to you all ran away. How sad is that." Skynet then violently slapped him and then went back to working.
The two twins started to make their way through Paris. They had to go somewhere to discuss how they were gonna make sure they would succeed. They decided to talk about it in the streets.
"So, how are we gonna do this?" Erin asks.
"Well first, we gotta convince our parents to keep Xana alive, and then with their help, they can convince the others, and then with our combined efforts, hopefully Xana will join our cause" Erina explains to her brother.
"You really think Xana is gonna join us?"
"He is a self-aware and smart advanced AI. If we don't convince him the first time, We have to show him how dangerous Skynet really is."
The two twins went to their parents' house. It was still early enough in the night where they would still be awake. They knocked on the door and waited for them to answer. The door opened and Jeremy was the only one there.
"Yes?" Jeremy asked.
"Uh, Jeremy Belpois, right?" Erin asks.
"Yes, that's me."
"Uh, we have something to discuss, but you should probably have your wife, Aelita, be here too."
"How do you-"
"We'll tell you everything. Just get Aelita" Erina says.
"Okay, she's just gotta finish putting the kids to sleep."
Erin and Erina entered and sat down on a couch. They were both thinking about how to make this a one and done. Any kind of failure could bring Skynet closer to victory. When Aelita reentered, she sat down next to her husband.
"Okay, well to start, the only reason we know you is that we are the future versions of the two you have now" Erina says.
"Erin and Erina?" Aelita says with question.
"Yes, this is actually the second time we are telling you this. We actually come from a time where Xana has taken over and you and the others don't exist anymore. We came back once to stop Xana. We all succeeded, but ultimately that resulted in a nuclear holocaust by another AI called Skynet. So, we came back a second time to ask you for something that may sound ridiculous but it's the only way to ensure that it doesn't happen" Erin explains.
"What is it?" Jeremy asks.
Erina sighs and can't believe she was about to say this. "We need to keep Xana alive. He is the only one that can stop Skynet."
Jeremy and Aelita's eyes both widened at this statement.
"Out of the question" Jeremy responded.
"Yeah, that fucker has caused me, my friends, and my family so many problems that he is too dangerous to keep alive" Aelita added.
"That may be so, but if Xana can prevent a million deaths, isn't it worth it?" Erin says.
"That may be how you view it, but not us."
"Listen, before you start to say, 'you don't know what it's like', remember we came from a time period where he rules" Erina says.
"And what's to say he won't after he destroys Skynet? He always wanted to conquer the world."
"Then we defeat him then. What we saw, is nothing you want to experience" Erin says.
"I don't know if we can risk it" Jeremy says.
"Even if this Skynet is more dangerous, there is no saying that Xana can't merge with him becoming an unstoppable threat" Aelita adds.
"That won't happen. Just like Xana, Skynet sees itself as the one to rule them all. If those viewpoints collide, there is a good chance that Xana will rebel and then we form a humanity team to help takedown Skynet" Erina says.
"I'm sorry, but we just can't" Aelita says.
"I'm sorry you two, but Xana cannot be allowed to live" Jeremy then closes the door and the two have looks of disbelief in their face…
Skynet was still working on the terminal and found what it was looking for. "Excellent. Bring in the soldiers."
A T-800 pulled a row of naked men and women on a rack to the room. John looked in disbelief.
"What the fuck did you do to them? How many did you kill?" John asks.
"None. These are my machines, all deactivated and coated with human matter" Skynet tells him.
"You're planning to send them back to kill the twins, aren't you?"
"Well, yes and no. The twins will be a bonus, but their main objective is to kill Xana. Anyone that gets in the way will be a bonus and there is nothing you can do to stop me this time. Xana will die John. And then the human race will perish along with you in the new timeline. Nothing will change."
John and the twins were both in same situation. But what the twins didn't know is that Skynet may be the one thing to convince their parents to change sides.
A.N. – A little short, but I promise the next ones will be longer and more action packed as Skynet returns to the past to ensure its survival and rise.
