Chapter 7 Skynet Rising
A.N. – The first of many Skynet traps comes to the past to kill the twins and Xana to ensure Skynet's dominance. Keep in mind that this is in Paris but as we start shifting towards stopping Skynet, the main focus will be in Los Angeles. Let's begin!
Short Summary – Erin and Erina are now in a predicament. Unable to convince their parents, they must now find a way to convince them with concreate evidence. Fortunately, Skynet will help them.

In the current timeline, Skynet prepares to send it's first terminator back in time to go after the twins. First, he is sending a normal T-800.
"Now, to send you back. Once you are there, you will find and kill the twins before moving on Xana" Skynet told its soldier. It activated the machine, and the time transfer was successful.
"It won't succeed you know. Those two are the most resourceful people I have ever seen" John told him.
"Just because all my former ones failed to kill you and make this reality troubling doesn't mean the twins will survive."
"You'll see. They'll survive and soon you won't survive."
"Oh John, still optimistic in this troubling time. Might as well give up, because I can kill you whenever I wish."
"Not as long as I'm still breathing, I will remain optimistic."
"So be it."
In Paris at nighttime, a blue vortex ball opened, and a man appeared from it. He headed towards the nearest populated place in town. He walked through and everyone was surprised to see him not wearing any clothes. He walked through and someone stopped him.
"Hey buddy, we have a policy here. You need clothes to be here" the manager told him.
"Get your hand off of me" the terminator told him.
"Did you hear me? Scram or I'll have you arrested!"
"I said, get your hand off of me."
"You are really dumb, aren't you?"
The terminator then grabbed his wrist and twisted it with incredible force. The manager winced in pain as the terminator had a death grip on him. Someone else tried to help him.
"Hey, let him go!"
The terminator grabbed him and threw him against a wall. The man was then knocked out. Pedestrians then started to run away. Someone grabbed a knife and tried stabbing him but was unaffected by it. (Graphic scene here.) He dropped the manager and approached the person. He punched the employee and picked up the knife. He then picked up the employee and pinned him to the wall before stabbing him in the chest, killing him. He then approached the manager again.
"Give me your clothes" he said, holding the knife close to his throat. The man took off all of his clothes and gave them to the terminator. He changed and then walked to the manager. "You know too much, so you can't be allowed to live." He then stabbed him in the chest, killing him as well. He walked out of the building leaving two dead bodies both in a pool of their blood.
Erin and Erina were able to find a vacated spot in an apartment complex near where their parents lived. They decided to hide out here until they were able to convince Jeremy and Aelita about allowing Xana to survive.
"How are we gonna do this? Unless we give them a compelling reason with evidence, they aren't gonna change their minds" Erin said.
"Regardless of wherever we came back too, I think we weren't going to convince them. We were so stupid to think we could do this" Erina added.
"Even we can't keep Xana alive. They'll kill him and the Skynet will win with no problems."
"And if the future that John came from happens…"
"God only knows what will happen to us."
"We still have time to convince them."
"Not enough. Six months may be long, but it's not enough time. We need to convince them, convince Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi and then convince Xana."
"Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi will follow with Jeremy and Aelita. The hard part will be convincing Xana."
"Yeah, and after all the hell that he was given, he won't be open to helping us."
The terminator had no idea where the twins were hiding. He eventually knew they would come out of hiding, but he wasn't going to traverse all the way on foot. He got out in the middle of traffic and stopped the first car that he was in front of. He walked to the driver's seat.
"Out. Now" the terminator told him.
"Hey, who the fuck are you?!" the driver told him. The terminator grabbed him out of the car and threw him to the curb. He got in and drove away to look for the twins. The driver was still conscious and pulled out his phone. "Hello, police department, my car has just been stolen."
The terminator was driving around for a few minutes before he was surrounded by police cars.
"Driver, get out of the vehicle with your hands up!" a police officer told him with the rest all in a firing stance.
Erin and Erina heard the commotion and went to look at what was going on. "Who the hell is this guy?" Erin asks.
"Don't know, but he must be wanted" Erina concluded. The terminator stepped out.
"Freeze! Hand in the air now!" An office told him. The terminator approached them. "Fire!" The officers started firing at it but the terminator kept on moving forward. (Another graphic scene.) He reached the first officer and grabbed his gun before killing him and the rest of the officers. He then grabbed the extra clips from the dead officers. He then looked towards the window where Erin and Erina were watching him.
In the eyes of the terminator…
Scanning target…Matches confirmed…Requested action…Terminate
Back to normal…
The terminator then moved to the apartment where they were.
"Oh my God!" Erina said with horror.
"He just massacred them" Erin added.
The terminator was in front of their door. He kicked it open and saw the twins. He then pointed his gun at them, and they ran.
"Hey, tough guy!" Erin said as he tried to break a chair over him but didn't faze him.
"Oh no…" Erina said realizing what it was.
"Poor move" the terminator said as it pointed his gun at him.
Erina grabbed a rod and struck it through the terminator. It dropped its gun and Erin grabbed it. "I don't understand it, why isn't he dead."
"Because he's not human. He's a terminator!" Erina exclaimed as the terminator pulled to the rod out of him and then back into the hallway. He threw the rod at the twins, missing them. He then walked forward. The twins walked out and were met with more police.
"Freeze! Don't move!"
They both raised their hands and the police saw the gun in Erin's hands. "Sir, put the dun down!" Erin put it on the ground. "Kick it over!" He did so and the two police arrested them. The terminator saw this and decided to go after them there.
The twins were now in the interrogation room.
"How many times do we need to tell you! We didn't commit those crimes! We just came out at an unfortunate time!" Erina argued with them.
"Then why did your brother have the gun that had the dead officers fingerprints on it? Especially that one that was murdered" an officer asked.
"The one who took it was wearing gloves so he wouldn't have any prints on it" Erin tells them.
"So, if you two aren't behind it, do you have a description of who?"
Outside of reception, the terminator comes in. "I require to see these two people" he says as he shows a picture of the twins.
"They are being interrogated. When they are done, then you can visit them" the woman at reception told him.
The terminator punched the glass and grabbed the woman by the throat. "Where is interrogation?"
"Down the hall."
The terminator releases her. He kicks the door open, and the alarm goes off. He goes down and the cops all shoot at him. He mercilessly beats one to death and takes his gun. He then shoots all the other ones in his way. He finds the interrogation room. He kicks it open.
"He looks like that" Erina says.
"Step away from them" the terminator tells them.
"Give us a reason why?" the cop tells him as he gets in his face.
The terminator quickly puts the gun to his stomach and shots him. The cop falls down and coughs up some blood. He then quickly kills the other one by shooting him in the head. "Your turn."
Erin grabs the gun from the dead cop next to him and shoots the gun out of the terminator's hand. "Run!" He and Erina quickly get out of the room. The terminator in pursuit. They head out of the station and get a cop car.
"You know what you're doing?" Erina asks him as he starts to hotwire it and the terminator coming closer. He is successful. He backs up and sees the terminator blocking their only way out.
"Terminate this bitch!" He hits the gas and speeds at the terminator. He hits it with force that sends it flying backwards. They quickly speed away before it has the chance to recover.
The twins are driving through the city, trying to figure out where to go next.
"Well, now what?" Erina asks.
"We head back to our parents" Erin says.
"You're crazy! You want them to die too! Remember, if us or the Lyoko Warriors, or Xana dies, Skynet wins!"
"Think about it! Our parents have been fighting Xana for years. I think our father would have some tool for fighting some robotic creatures. Especially if Xana had those robots ready to go in Siberia."
They arrive at their parents place. The terminator is also close behind.
"Open up open up open up open up!" Erin says pressing the doorbell.
Jeremy opens the door. "What do you want this time?"
"Listen, this is serious now! Skynet is back in the past and one of his terminators are coming to kill us! Do you have anything that can kill robots?"
"What evidence do you have to this?"
The terminator kicks the door open.
"Him" Erina says.
"Step away from them or die" the terminator tells Jeremy.
Erin tries shooting it but doesn't affect it. "Fuck."
He grabs Erina by the neck, trying to strangle her.
"Here take this!" Jeremy says, throwing a shotgun to Erin. He quickly pumps it and aims at the terminator's head. He shoots it and it drops his sister. "Come on! I got something at the factory that might help!"
They quickly leave and the terminator follows. As they get to the car, Erin shoots it one more time, knocking him down. They all get in and drive off.
"What about Aelita?" Erina asks.
"She's safe. I told her to hide in the one place where no one knows about except us. Besides, he seems to be after you" Jeremy says.
"Because we are the only ones who can convince you to keep Xana alive. If he dies, Skynet wins."
"I guess this machine is Skynet?"
"No, but it was made by him. Skynet is similar to Xana, but we'll tell you later. Let's just kill this asshole" Erin responds.
The three arrived at the factory and then they descended into the laboratory. Jeremy pressed a few buttons on the interface and then a wall of electronics opened up.
"These weapons were made just in case Xana ever started a war. But it seems like this Skynet is a big problem" Jeremy says.
"You have no idea" Erina says.
"So, how did you know Xana would destroy him?"
"We didn't, you did. After Judgement Day, you found out that Xana could have killed him, but since we defeated him, Skynet had nothing to oppose it" Erin says.
"Here" Jeremy tosses a weapon.
"What is it?" Erina asks.
"An EMP mine. If this thing is electronic, this should disable it. Just place it on him and run."
The two went to the factory bridge to await the terminator's return. "I hate being bait" Erin says.
"We got no other choice. He's only here to kill us and Xana. I'm sure the others will become targets if they rally behind us. Till then, we are bait" Erina tells him. They see him approaching. "Ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be" Erin responds.
He charged at them, and they stood there. When he was close to Erina, she threw the mine and ducked out of the way. The mine went off and the terminator was frozen in time. The twins looked at him, wondering if he was gone, but Skynet always makes back-ups.

The terminator started moving as his systems rebooted.
"He's not dead yet" Erina says.
Erin remembers something. "Remember how John and his men killed these things. Go for the head. We'll hit his system control, disabling him from Skynet."
They headed back into the factory and split up. Erin went to the big machine room, while Erina went into the small machine room. Erin found a metal rod and then went back to help his sister. The terminator found them and then started to pursue her. Erina ran and found a dead end.
"No no no no no!" She screamed as the terminator appeared. He didn't notice Erin above him, and he jumped down striking the terminator in the head, effectively ending it.
"You're terminated" Erin said, panting.
The twins were now with Jeremy and Aelita.
"Okay, now tell us what you know" Jeremy asks and the twins tell the coming of Skynet.
A.N. – And thus ends Skynet's first attempt of killing the twins. I feel like the rest will have a lot more action, especially as the story nears its completion. If you saw the first movie, there were a bunch of references in here and I hope you liked it. Next time, the rest of the Lyoko Warriors join as Skynet sends a T-1000!
