Chapter 11 Skynet's Downfall Act II
A.N. – So, this is the second part of Skynet's downfall which I said would happen down the road. This will also be in two parts here as well. Let's begin the ending!
Short Summary – With Skynet's days numbered in the past, the Skynet of the future comes to ensure that Skynet rises in the past. But Skynet's worst enemy of the future also comes too…the John of the future. Can the Lyoko Warriors use Xana to defeat Skynet or is everyone's future doomed?

In the current timeline, Skynet prepares for one last jump into the past. Only this time, one of its terminators won't be going…it will be itself. The T-800 guards prepare for his jump in time.
"So, John, guess I won't see your end here. Don't worry, I'll kill your past self quickly. Skynet will still rise! If you want something done right, you got to it yourself" Skynet said as the machine activated. Since its structure was purely synthetic, it could go as is. The machine sent it back.
At this time, an explosion happened. "Go, go, go!" A soldier said as the human resistance all charged through and defeated all the terminator guards.
At this time, a female stepped through dressed up like a general. "Secure the area. The rest of you, let's find John!" They all walked to where the machine was and found John all chained up. His soldiers took him down and the general went to him. "John! John, can you hear me?"
"Kate? I was wondering when you'd get here" John said weakly.
"Get him some food and water! Hurry!" A soldier ran to get John what he needed. "Oh John…"
"What took so long?"
"I had to rally all the survivors as well as fend off any of Skynet's remaining T-800's."
"I have to go…back in time. Skynet…it will kill the twins…Xana…and any others…as well as my…past self."
The soldier returned with the supplies. "Here, get you strength back. We will prepare you for the final jump."
"Thank you, Kate. You're the best second in command I could ever have."
The day has finally arrived for the Lyoko Warriors and Xana to defeat Skynet. The Lyoko Warriors were ready to go, but the twins wanted one more thing to happen.
"Ah Jeremy, we want to do one more thing" Erin says.
"What is it?" Jeremy asks.
"We want to find the past John. Most likely he can help us, and Kate will probably be with him" Erina says.
"Who's Kate?" Yumi asks.
"Second in command of the human resistance. She was with John when Skynet was unleashed" Erin said.
Jeremy pulled up his laptop and searched for John. "I found him. I just hope we can find him before Skynet does."
At this time, Skynet also arrives. It steps out into the street and then a car almost hits it. Skynet puts its hand out and stops it. He goes to the driver's seat and opens the door. "Get out" it tells the driver.
"What?! No!" The driver responds.
"So be it." Skynet then violently pulls him out of the car before throwing him across the road. It enters and drives off. "I'm coming for you next John."
The machine was ready to take John back in time.
"Are you sure you have to go back? You're in no state to fight" Kate tells him.
"I have to. Skynet is too powerful for them to defeat. If they fail, Skynet will activate itself on that day early and the human race along with our resistance will cease to exist."
"Look at me. No matter what happens, make sure this future doesn't come to pass."
"You realize, that if this works, you won't see me again."
"I'm pretty sure we'll find each other in the past, only without Skynet." She then kisses John as way to send him off. "Go kill this son of a bitch."
John steps up onto the platform. "I'm coming back for you Skynet." The machine sends him back in time.
Everyone stopped at what should the current place of John Conner. The twins went up while the Lyoko Warriors stayed behind.
"Think he'll believe us?" Erin asks.
"Once we tell him, he'll have no choice but to join us. He knows how much of a threat Skynet is because of his mother. He isn't going to pass up an opportunity like this" Erina said as Erin knocked on the door.
John opened the door. "Who are you?"
"Someone who wants to help you" Erin starts.
"And someone who knows exactly what's going to happen" Erina finishes.
"What do you know?"
"We know about Skynet, and the nuclear holocaust that will follow. We are here to provide with a means to stop Skynet" Erin says.
"You know?"
"We know…everything," Erina responds. John unlocks the door and lets them in. "Is Kate with you?"
"How do you know about her?"
"We know a lot more about the future then you think" Erin says.
"Yeah, she's here. I'll get her."
On the side of the road, two dead cops lay on the ground while Skynet is in the patrol car, using the police car to find John's address. "Found you." Skynet then drives off to confront John.
At this time, the John of the future also arrives. He grabs a electric scooter that was on the road and heads off to where his old residence was.
"So, these two know and have means to end Skynet?" Kate asks.
"Yes. We got to trust them. If this was Skynet, they would have tried to kill us by now. Skynet won't waste time trying to kill us. It didn't with me and my mom" John tells her.
"How do you plan to destroy Skynet?"
"We got our own AI named Xana that is only thing that can destroy him. In the future, it was discovered that Xana had the means to destroy Skynet, but since it was destroyed Skynet took over with no one to stop it. This is our chance to rewrite the future. A one without Skynet" Erin tells her.
At this time, Skynet arrived at the residence. "Jeremy, look" Aelita tells him.
"Looks like trouble" Jeremy says.
"I'll tell the twins." Aelita calls Erina.
"Mom" Erina says.
"You two got to move it. We think Skynet has arrived."
"Okay, we'll speed this up." She hangs up. "Listen, it's now or never. Skynet is her…now!"
John runs into the room and pulls out a chest. "I picked this up from my mom's grave in case Skynet ever found us." He opens it up and reveals a bunch of guns. "My mom was cremated but had this buried in her place in case Skynet ever came back." He hands Erin a pump shotgun. He hands Erina a sawed-off shotgun. He handed Kate a AK-47. John himself had a M-4. They all grabbed extra ammunition. "Let's go."
John of the future arrived at his old dwelling and also went inside.
"Who's that?" Ulrich asks.
"Did Skynet send two?" Yumi asks.
"No, they would have come together. Plus, he looks human. Like not synthetic."
The four were escaping when they came face to face with Skynet. "John. So good to see you. And the twins. Last time I saw you is when you were going back in time."
"So, your Skynet I take it" Erin says.
"Yes, and I'm also your death." Skynet was ready to kill them when he was ambushed from behind.
"You though you have gotten rid of me, but I'm not easy to get rid of" John of the future said.
"John!" Erina said.
"Go! I got him!" The four escaping. "Kate, nice to see you again."
Kate was shocked for a moment but then moved with the others.
Skynet fought him off before standing up. "You came back to die with your race."
"No, I came back to stop you."
"You'll have to try harder."
Everyone made their escape. Everyone had a communicator to stay connected.
"Okay, our next stop, Cyber Research Systems" John said as they all went there.
"Hope my dad isn't involved in this mess" Kate said, not wanting to hurt her own dad in order to destroy Skynet.
Skynet emerged from the building but found they have already left. He got back into his patrol car and headed to the same place. A few minutes later, John also emerged and went to his scooter and pursued Skynet. "I know exactly you were born you bastard."
The Lyoko Warriors, the twins, John, and Kate were the first ones to arrive at Cyber Research Systems. They all got out of their cars and looked to see Skynet not far behind.
"We should get inside now!" John said. Each one readied their weapons just in case they couldn't outrun Skynet. "Okay, run me through this plan of yours."
"We infiltrate Cyber Research Systems, disable all security, find where Skynet is being housed, have Xana infiltrate it internally and destroy it" Jeremy explains to him.
"All seems a little hopeful. But I ready for this struggle to end. If Skynet is as big a problem as the twins say it is, then we need to stop him right here, right now."
They all went to the door and trying opening it but it was locked with a security passcode or keycard scanner.
"Great. We're locked out and Skynet is in hot pursuit" Erin says as Kate steps up to the terminal.
"My dad's the general, so I'll try to give myself administrative access" Kate tells them as she tries to hack it. She is successful. "Bingo! Let's go!" Everyone entered the building.
Skynet arrived in time to see them enter the building. John also arrived shortly behind him and rammed him, knocking him down. "I can't let you do this! You caused too many problems in my timeline for me to allow to do the same here!"
"It WILL happen here John. Only this time, I will make sure I kill everyone by wiping out the whole world!" Skynet tells him.
"Not while I still have a breath in my body!"
"Allow me to fix that!" Skynet went up to him and started to choke him. A civilian was passing by.
"Hey buddy! Stop doing that! You're hurting him!"
Skynet quickly tossed him back. Someone grabbed a pipe and tried to knock him out. It did not affect him at all. Skynet took his attention off John and John grabbed a pipe that was within reach and hit him across the face. Skynet released him and then John took off into building.
"You can run John, but you can't hide!"
Inside the building, everyone was searching for the place where Skynet was being housed. They decide to search for the experimental wing, since Skynet was still in development at this time. Even if future John was with them, even he won't know where Skynet is.
"Hold up! A couple of guards" John told them.
"More like guarding our way in. Look" Kate said. The sign above the door said experimental, while the door was covered in warning and caution symbols.
"How do we get rid of the two goons guarding it?" Odd asks.
"Allow me" Kate said as she walked up to them. "Hello gentlemen."
"You shouldn't be here" a guard told her.
"Well, my father, the general, is here and he told me that me and my friends can see the new project he was working on."
"We were never told of this."
"Do you want me to tell my father that? I'll get your asses fired!"
The guard saw what she was wearing. "Why are you carrying an AK-47?"
"Fuck it." She took the end of the gun and knocked them both out. "You coming?" The others followed her into the experimental wing. Future John and Skynet both coming after them…
