Because Naruto grew up with both of his parents and Karama, and they're tireless efforts to prevent his growth from being stunted. Naruto was a prodigy among geniuses. However he was treated like he was the root of all evil by the majority of the village. do to this he hid most of his abilities.
in the early part the night of Hinata Hyuga's birthday, naruto is wandering through a certain section of the forest that just so happens to be near the Hyuga compound. When Naruto sees a shadow tree hopping away from the compound. Naruto notices that the shadow appears to be carrying a sack of some kind. Seeing this he decides to give chase,he also creates a few shadow clones to worn Hiashi and the Hokage.
