Here's a little Valentine's Day Special ;)
Jounouchi gulped and tried to calm down his pounding heart when he found himself in front of Mai's room door. Akia had told him that Mai wanted to talk to him, but for some reason, he was feeling nervous about it. He knocked on the door and waited. The door opened and he was standing face to face with a smiling Mai.
"Ah, Jounouchi! You actually came," the blonde woman said teasingly.
"Well, yeah, you asked me to come," Jounouchi retorted. "What is it? Do you need something?"
Mai sighed, feeling like this interaction was going to end like all the others because of how oblivious Jounouchi was.
"No, I don't need anything. You can leave if you don't want to be here," Mai replied plainly as she turned around and started closing her door.
"Wha-? Wait!" Jounouchi exclaimed, holding the door open. "You can't just call me here then tell me to leave like that! At least let me in for a bit…"
Mai blinked a few times at Jounouchi, not expecting him to say that. She opened back the door and whispered a small "sure" as he came in.
"You sure you're okay walking around like this? Shouldn't you go back in bed?" The blond young man expressed his worry.
"Aww, so precious," Mai pinched Jounouchi's cheek. "Don't worry yourself about little old me. Unless it's a ploy to get into bed with me."
"W-W-What are you talking about, woman?!" Jounouchi's face flushed red as he vehemently denied Mai's words.
Mai pouted and went to sit down on a chair. "So clueless…" She whispered under her breath.
Jounouchi's heart was beating faster, the idea of being in bed with Mai flustering him more than he'd care to admit. He went to sit down in the other chair across the table from Mai, not able to look at her, since he was suddenly feeling very self-conscious.
"Jounouchi, what am I to you?" Mai inquired, wanting to know what the young man thought of her.
"What kind of question is that?! Are you just teasing me on purpose? You having fun?" Jounouchi scratched the back of his head, trying to avoid any vulnerable conversation.
"I'm serious!" Mai snapped at him, feeling more and more fed up of his avoidance.
"No need to yell, geez!" Jounouchi replied. After a long silence, he looked away, giving Mai the back of his head and took a deep breath. "I think you're infuriating… And too tough for your own good."
Mai raised an eyebrow, not really sure where he was going with that.
"But, deep down, I think you're a fragile person that build a strong outer-shell to keep people out," Jounouchi then turned his head back to Mai, his face redder than she had ever seen it before. This made her blush as well, seeing his shaking eyes, staring straight into hers. "Mai… Seeing you protect yourself like this makes me want to break through that tough exterior and hold that fragile side of you… I want you to trust me enough to show it to me."
"…Why would you want that? Isn't it better if I'm not annoyingly depending on you?" Mai asked softly.
"No! I want you to depend on me! I… When I thought you were gone, I felt this deep deep regret… The regret of not having said everything I wanted to say to you. Not treasuring you, not showing you how much you mean to me…!" Jounouchi got up from his chair, his emotions finally taking a hold of him. He went and stood in front of Mai, holding her hands in his, pulling her up.
"Jounouchi…" The blonde woman's eyes became wet with emotion. Her heart was beating faster as she looked into the eyes of the man she'd long fallen for.
"Mai…! I… I'm going to kiss you!" Mai widened her eyes at his declaration, and, before she could process it, she felt his warm soft lips on hers as he pulled her closer by her waist, a hand holding the back of her head. She quickly returned the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck, stroking his hair softly as their lips kept connecting over and over with deeper, more passionate kisses. Jounouchi then started sucking and softly nibbling on Mai's lower lip, earning a soft moan from her as she slightly parted her lips for him. He inserted his tongue into her mouth, exploring it thoroughly, swirling around her own tongue. Mai then gripped Jounouchi's hair tightly in her hand, deepening the kiss even more, making him do the same with her hair. Her legs were feeling weak from the overwhelming sensations. This all felt so surreal, as they both did not expect for any of this to happen between them.
As they pulled away from the kiss, their eyes were glazed over as they panted to catch their breath, their faces flushed.
"Jounouchi…" Mai whispered.
"Mai…" He softly called her name back.
There were no more words. Only more passionate kissing, making their bodies shake with desire for each other as Jounouchi wrapped Mai's legs around his waist, not breaking away from the kiss. Mai tightly held on with her arms wrapped around the back of his neck as she sucked on his tongue. The blond young man walked to the bed, laying Mai down on it and hovered over her, going back in for another heated make-out session. He interlaced his fingers with hers as he held her hands on either side of her face.
Jounouchi pulled away from the kiss and looked into Mai's eyes. "Before we go further… I want to ask…" He said while panting from the effort he had expended. "Will you be my woman?"
Mai giggled. "Are you proposing?" She teased.
"No! It's too early for that!" Jounouchi yelled out.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding!" The blonde woman chuckled. "The answer is yes. As long as you treat me right. I'm a lot to handle."
"I'll handle all of you," the young man gave her a confident smirk as he went back in for another kiss. Their lips were getting sore and swollen by that point, but they didn't want to stop. They couldn't stop. They loved kissing each other. It gave them such a rush. It felt so good.
Once their lips parted again, Mai gave Jounouchi a seductive smile. "What did you mean by "going further"?"
"Do you really want to know?" Jounouchi nuzzled her cheek and gave it a small peck, causing her to giggle.
"I am a bit curious…" She whispered.
"Let's just say… I don't think either of us is getting any sleep tonight," Jounouchi breathed into her ear, sending shivers of pleasure down her spine.
"My, my… Jounouchi… You're getting me all flustered here," Mai purred.
"Katsuya," the blond young man said with a smirk. "That's the name I want you to scream tonight."
Seeing him so dominant made Mai's heart flutter. This was indeed going to be a sleepless night for both of them.
