I don't own Doctor Who, only this one-shot.
"Exiting emergency time corridor, now," one of the Dalek's plugged into the ship's computers reported.
"Good. Calculate spatial and temporal location," the Dalek captain ordered, noting the sparking from the nearby consoles and displays. "Report status of ship and crew?"
"Ship at 67% efficiency. Time corridor coils are badly damaged. Hyperdrive engines at 50% capacity. The Warp drive is at 57% efficiency. Shields and weapons are only at 40% efficiency; 150 Daleks of the crew have died due to the Doctor's interference of the Dalekanium power feeds controlled from the Crucible; Dalekanium power feeds to one-third of the ship have been compromised," one of the Daleks reported.
"How badly compromised are the power feeds?"
"Unknown. The damage report is still being assessed."
"Very well," the Dalek captain noted the report with some concern about the loss of such a large number of the crew. Dalek ships were crewed by 200-300 Daleks. Their loss would greatly affect the ship's efficiency. "Are there any indications of what happened to the Crucible and the New Dalek Empire?"
"No. There is no sign of any Dalek transmissions within the local vicinity."
"Location; Mutters Spiral galaxy, we are 3,000 years into the future; sensors are badly damaged. Unable to get a positive lock," a Dalek reported.
The Dalek captain had already accepted the fact that the plan devised by the Supreme Dalek, the Abomination Caan and Davros had failed miserably. "Assign service robots to the repairs. Time corridor coils, hyperdrive, sensors and weapons are the most critical systems at this moment," the Dalek captain said before turning on the spot. "Navigation, pinpoint our current spatial location with known star charts and lay in a course for the Medusa Cascade. Engage at the safest warp velocity."
"I obey."
The Dalek captain turned to the communication station. "Begin transmitting signals on all Dalek frequencies. We must know if we are alone."
"I obey," the Dalek at the communication station replied.
As the ship got underway, the Dalek captain was overseeing the repair efforts when an alarm came from the communication station. "What have you to report?" The Dalek captain asked.
"Communication transmissions have triggered a return signal. Computer analysis indicates it is a Dalek progenitor."
The Dalek captain reeled at the news. Dalek progenitors had been created in the early space age and during the Time War; for the Space Age era Daleks, the progenitors were designed to drift through space like the seeds of a flower in case the Empire suffered from a terrible defeat, and after the encounters with the First Doctor, that was a good precaution. They contained pure Dalek DNA, and they would, if hooked up to the right equipment, materials, and power levels, create a new Dalek race from scratch.
Whereas during the Last Great Time War, the Daleks involved in the Time War went back in time several times and recovered pure Dalek DNA from the cities on Skaro, and from early Dalek Empire colonies and warships and contained the building blocks of a new Dalek Empire. The progenitors came in two forms; a factory ship and a small device, yet both were the same. Once connected to the Pathweb, the progenitor would devise the best form of Dalek casing, which was part of their programming, in order to make the Daleks invincible.
Progenitors were extremely prized during different conflicts within Dalek history - the Time War and the aftermath of the Movellan epidemic were prized examples.
"Location?"
"Six light years ahead of us," the Dalek reported.
"Navigation. Lock onto the progenitor and lay in an interception course," the Dalek captain ordered.
"I obey. Course laid in. Engaging at fastest possible speed."
The Dalek captain watched as the ship entered the warp bubble, stars streaking past as the saucer passed by several stars and planets before they arrived at the location of the progenitor.
"Open the visual link," the Dalek captain ordered.
A holographic screen activated showing the progenitor. Fittingly the device resembled a long seed pod. It was bronze in colour. As the visual window zoomed in, the Dalek captain could see that the device was drifting through space.
"It is a type 1 progenitor. It is a dimensionally transcendental factory ship. It was constructed within the Time War era. It has already been activated," one Dalek reported.
"So soon?" The Dalek captain was surprised. "How has it activated?"
"Progenitors are programmed to respond to Dalek technology. When we began searching for other survivors from the Medusa Cascade, the progenitor activated and patched into the Pathweb. It is aware of the latest events."
"So it knows what occurred," the Dalek captain remarked. "What is its current status?"
"The power core on the progenitor factory ship is online. Already new Daleks are being prepared for the new Dalek paradigm. However, the factory ship does not have enough energy to fully create a new Dalek race."
"Can we supply the energy?"
"Yes."
"Prepare to bring the factory ship onboard. Prepare to open a hyperspace conduit to the nearest supernova. We can tap into the energy there and use the power to restore this ship and to support the factory ship," the Dalek captain ordered, already making plans.
"Wait. Warp signatures are approaching."
"Show me," the Dalek captain ordered, swinging around the visual window. Three large cylindrical ships which spun like tops to create a form of artificial gravity appeared. "Those are Cyber warships. Transmat the factory ship onboard at once. We cannot let it be destroyed, or fall into the hands of the Cybermen."
"I obey," the Dalek replied. On the visual window, the Dalek captain watched as the factory ship glowed white and disappeared as if it was passing through a doorway. "Transmat complete," the Dalek reported.
"Link the ship to our power network," the Dalek captain ordered.
"I obey."
"Prepare to jump into hyperspace," the navigator advised. "Coordinates engaged. Power building now."
The Dalek captain watched as the Cybermen approached closer. It knew what was going to happen a moment before it happened when it saw bright pulses of yellow light being fired.
"Cybermen opening fire. Shields are deployed."
"Engage fusion engines. Take us out of range of the Cybermen," the Dalek captain ordered. "Divert all power from the warp engines to the factory ship."
The ship rocked as it was hit by the Cybermen. Wall consoles that had been badly damaged by the Doctor's interference finally gave out and exploded, showering debris on the floor. A conduit ruptured, spilling the organic crystalline compound Dalek ships used for their computers over the floor. Instantly several consoles and displays flickered.
"Damage report," the Dalek captain demanded.
"Shields at 54%, and falling."
"Open fire, all aft neutralisers. Launch missiles. Exterminate," the Dalek captain ordered.
"I obey."
On the visual window, the Dalek captain watched as the neutraliser blasts struck the Cyber ships, but they were either worn down from the lack of power or the Cybermen simply had better shielding because the blasts didn't cause much damage. But the missiles streaked towards the Cybermen, their faster-than-light warp drives making them too fast for the Cybermen to overcome. The Cybermen clearly recognised the danger because they tried to avoid the missiles or fired on them. But it was to no avail. The missiles struck two of the ships, one of the missiles split the gravity carousel of one of the ships and the chain reaction destroyed the ship.
Despite the fact, two more ships remained, and only one was destroyed, the Dalek captain saw that as a triumph, of proof of Dalek supremacy.
"The Cybermen are regrouping. They are sending out a distress call for reinforcements on all Cyber frequencies," the communications Dalek reported.
The Dalek captain accepted the report and came up with a strategy immediately. "Jam them. What is the status of the hyperjump?"
"Power is still building," the navigator Dalek reported.
"Fire the weapons one more time, and then divert the power from the weapon systems to the hyperdrive," the Dalek captain ordered.
"I obey. Firing now."
Neutraliser beams and pulses were fired at the Cybermen and damaged both ships, but the missile strike that came crippled them.
"Hyperdrive engaged," the navigator Dalek's voice was thick with overwhelming triumph.
The Dalek captain watched as the stars streaked past as the ship shot into the hyperspace vortex. For a moment there was nothing before the ship snapped back into normal space, and the visual window showed the brilliant golden orange and beautiful colours of a supernova. But since Daleks had no appreciation or love of beauty it was lost on them.
"Maintain a safe orbit. Begin the power transfer from the supernova. Engage automatic repair systems," the Dalek captain ordered.
"We obey," the Daleks on the bridge replied.
"Wait," a Dalek technician suddenly said. "Progenitor factory ship automatic weapons have destroyed several Dalek units in the hanger bay it was transmatted in. The message from the factory ship reads we are not pure Dalek."
The Dalek captain and the crew reeled and reacted negatively in their casings at that devastating news. "Davros created us from cells from his own body. How are we impure?" The Dalek captain demanded.
"Unknown. Factory sensors have confirmed it. We are not pure Daleks."
The Dalek captain was silent for a moment before it accepted the truth. "Inform the rest of the crew," it said. "When the new Daleks appear, offer themselves for extermination."
"I obey." It didn't occur to any of the Daleks to argue. For the Daleks, racial purity was at the core of their being, why they launched war after war, to wipe out all life until nothing but Daleks survived. Nor did it occur to any of the crew that they could still live despite the news. As far as they were concerned, they were not meant to live.
Static electrical beats began to vibrate throughout the ship.
"It is completed. The new Dalek paradigm has arrived," a Dalek reported.
"Open the visual link," the Dalek captain ordered.
A visual window opened, showing the factory ship in a hanger deep in the ship. It showed the seed-pod-shaped hull of the factory ship. The factory ship seemed to be vibrating with power before the hatch opened and gas gushed out of the opening. A shape appeared in the hatchway, one recognisable as Dalek. It slid out of the factory ship and stood just in front of it. It was joined by another like it, and then another and then another until there were thirteen Daleks in total.
"The progenitor has fulfilled our new destiny. Behold, the restoration of the Daleks! The resurrection of the master race. All hail the new Daleks! All hail the new Daleks!" The Dalek captain chanted with the others.
On the visual window, the Daleks opened fire, wiping out their impure brethren.
When the Daleks reached the bridge, the Dalek captain submitted to extermination willingly without a fight back.

The new Dalek supreme surveyed the bridge, resplendent in its new jet back and gold and silver casing. According to its onboard computers, the ship had been badly damaged, but it would do for the time being. They would remain in orbit of the supernova, draining as much power as possible to channel into the ship's auto-repair systems and to the factory ship, as it produced the new form of Dalek.
Outwardly they resembled the Daleks as they once existed on Skaro before their first contact with the Doctor and his associates which led to the Thal-Dalek battle. But inwardly they were very different. Unlike all Daleks of the past, including the Time War era Daleks, these new Daleks were designed with a rounded base which contained power antigravity thrusters so they would provide the Dalek with greater mobility. No longer would the Daleks need to rest on the ground. The progenitor computer had also equipped them with new, devastating weapons and upgraded eyestalks, and nuclear reactors to keep the creatures saturated by radiation, and to supply power to their casings, to prevent any sabotage to Dalekanium power feeds.
One of their castes could, in effect, alter the molecular structure of the air itself, and use it to create fire while their psychokinetic abilities rendered them into pyrokinetics. All of the Daleks now had higher psychokinetic abilities.
They were Scientist, Strategist, Warrior, Special Weapons, Geneticist, Time-Controller, Time Warrior, Technician, Engineer, Psyche, Fire, Elite, and the Supreme.
Through them, the Daleks would claim their rightful place as the supreme power of the universe!
A/N. Please let me know what you think.
I always did like the idea of the New Dalek paradigm, and I loved the design and the idea of new colours for the Daleks, and I wish it was revisited. But this one-shot was inspired by a youtube video where a progenitor was discovered and activated, discharging a new Dalek race that flew.
For this Dalek race, here are what they do:
Scientist Daleks create bioweapons and study phenomena, devising weapons of destruction. They are coloured white.
Strategist Daleks are the military leaders, whose brains are augmented to think in many different strategies at a time. They are coloured dark metallic blue.
Warrior Daleks are the soldiers of the Dalek race. More savage and aggressive, and yet possessing the intellect of their race, they are relentless. They are coloured dark bronze.
Special Weapons Daleks are designed to protect the Dalek race and to bring the Daleks to victory. Hated because of their more mutated form, and yet armed with a massive cannon yet possessing the same manipulator stalk inside the casing, as well as many probes, the Special Weapons Daleks are devastating war machines. They are coloured gunmetal grey.
Geneticists are responsible for the genetic purity of the Dalek race. They are coloured dark green.
Time-Controller Daleks are the temporal commanders and the Dalek equivalent of a primitive prototype Time Lord. Their brains are augmented by the energies of the Time Vortex, to help them make complex calculations and to help them decide the best way to change history to suit the Dalek cause. They possess enlarged casings and are coloured silver with blue domes.
Time Warrior Daleks are the fighters of temporal battles. Armed with devastating neutralisers which can accelerate time like a Time Destructor, they also have the means of pushing a victim out of phase in accordance with Mobius weapon technology. The victims appear to vanish but are in fact still there in the same spot, but they are unreachable and undetectable, except with powerful temporal scanners. Time Warrior Daleks are coloured dark silver.
Technician Daleks are among the technical minds of the Dalek race, meant to help crew ships and maintain cities. They are coloured silver and black.
Engineer Daleks, like the Scientists and Technicians, are the ones responsible for the building and maintenance of the Dalek race's technology. They are dark yellow in colour.
Psyche Daleks are the telepaths of the Dalek race. All Daleks are telepathic and possess psychokinetic powers, but the Psyche Daleks of the new Paradigm take it to a different level. Trained to be more powerful with their minds and living in augmented casings, Psyche Daleks are unique because their travel machines are equipped with a secondary massive brain in their machines which acts as a focusing lens for their own telepathy. They are used for interrogations and for inflicting fear on the victims of the Dalek armies. Their casings are dark gold while the top of the casing is a transparent rounded globe which contains the secondary organic brain.
Fire Daleks are a unique form of Dalek. Like the psyche Daleks, their brains are augmented to make use of their psychokinesis, but unlike the psyche Daleks, they are not designed for that kind of work. Their brains are designed to create and control fire with their minds; on the battlefield, Fire Daleks can set buildings and local soldiers on fire with minimal effort, and in the vacuum of space, they can focus their minds on the insides of space suited fighters, and create a spark to consume the oxygen. Provided with a special casing which enhances this capability, and can alter the molecular configuration of the atmosphere, the Fire Daleks are deadly. Their mental capacities can allow them to create a wave of fire that can expand outward to a distance of two miles. Their casings are a dark metallic red with black and silver trim.
Elite Daleks are the New Paradigms' version of the Cult of Skaro, except taken to a greater height. Armed with Strategist, Psyche, and Scientist level brains that have been conditioned to imagine and to think as the enemy thinks, the Elite Daleks work with the Strategist class to devise better ways of destruction. They are given dark purple casings.
Supreme Daleks are the leaders of the Dalek race, just below the Emperor of the Daleks. More aggressive but more intelligent than most Daleks, the Supreme Daleks are the generals and admirals in a battle and the city administrators. Their casings are black with silver and gold trim.
