Izuku was running around the playground when he saw these floating words in front of him.
[Achievement Unlocked: Awakened Your Quirk]
"Mom!" Izuku shouted.
"Yes Izuku?" Inko replied.
"I see words in front of me." Izuku said.
"Huh?" Inko questioned.
"What does it say?" Inko asked.
Izuku mispronounced achievement.
"Achievement?" Inko said.
"Oh, that's how you say it!" Izuku chirped.
"Achievement Unlocked: Awakened Your Quirk." Izuku said.
"What else do you see? Can you touch it?" Inko said.
Izuku touched the semi-transparent screen-like object in front of him and was shocked when it disappeared.
"It's gone now!" Izuku said. "Mom, is this…my quirk?"
"Izuku… I think you need to see a quirk doctor." Inko said.

A little over a decade later…
"The Sludge Villain!" Izuku thought.
He remembered reading an achievement about this.
Today must be the day!
"Is this it?" Izuku thought, thinking there was no way he could survive this villain's attack.
"I am here!"
"All Might!" Izuku thought after recognizing that booming voice.
"I'm saved." Izuku thought.
All Might quickly defeated the Sludge Villain.
[Achievement Unlocked: Meet All Might]
"I'm glad you're okay." All Might said before apologizing for letting Izuku get caught up in a villain attack.
Izuku flashbacked to the achievement list.
"Wasn't All Might supposed to give me something?" Izuku thought.
"Well, then…I'm counting on your continued support." All Might said, before launching off into the air.
[Achievement Unlocked: A Leap of Faith!]
"Wait a sec-" All Might said as he turned to see Izuku hanging for his dear life on his left leg.
All Might quickly landed on a rooftop of a nearby building.
"If you talk to people downstairs, I'm sure they will let you down." All Might said.
"Wait-"
Before All Might jumped off the building, Izuku said, "One For All."
All Might stopped dead in his tracks.
"I don't really understand but my quirk tells me you're supposed to give it to me." Izuku said.
Toshinori made sure to tread carefully in this conversation.
"Whatever this 'One For All' is, I don't have it." All Might said.
"Wait, please! I just want to understand. My quirk in a way can foretell the future." Izuku explained.
"Foretell the future?" All Might questioned.
Izuku nodded.
"My quirk has given me hints to earn achievements almost like in a video game." Izuku said.
"According to it, I'm supposed to earn this 'One For All' and probably use it to defeat villains."
"Right now, most of the badges I will earn in the near future have to do something called 'All For One'?"
All Might frowned.
"Kid…we need to talk." All Might said.

Izuku wondered what he got himself into.
All Might didn't tell him everything but just enough to know he's dealing with something classified.
"Now, don't you go around running your mouth about this." All Might said.
"I won't." Izuku promised.
"So…what about One For All?" Izuku asked.
"It's not something I can give away to anyone." All Might said.
"But my quirk-"
"I don't care about what your quirk says!" All Might said.
This shut Izuku down.
"I don't mean to be harsh but this is serious business. People's lives are at stake!"
Izuku, feeling defeated, sighs.
As he watches the Pro Hero jump off the building, Izuku admits All Might was right.
