After Cephiro was at peace, Mokona allowed the girls to keep visitng the land.
Two years had passed, Fuu and Fério were engaged, Hikaru and Lantis remained together more in love than never and Umi and Ascot were dating after she realized that, not only his body grew up. He also grew very mature, but still kind, gentle and for him, Umi was his intire world.
Fuu, when we'll be able to get married? – Asked Fério looking anxious.

Hikaru took a deep breath and started feeling better. No matter what happened, she knew her friends always would be there for her, so would Lantis and all people from Cephiro. Hikaru stood rigid when, all of suden, she started feel something wet and warm dripping over her.

Fuu was able to find a towell and press on Umi's wound while Umi screamed and agonized.
Her hands trembled so much that she even barely could keep the towell in place.

Fuu remained quiet and still pressing the towell on the wound and used Umi's hand as well, but in her mind, she was praying so hard for a miracle.

Umi shifted her expression to worry and said to nobody in special looking at the ceiling: Caldina, she has to take care of him. He is too good for any world. He is like you. - And softened her expression. Tried to reach Hikaru's face but couldn't. Her hand felt limp on the floor.

In Cephiro, the glass of the windows shattered and the sea became agitaded and angry and nobody undestood why.
Fuu felt like her heart was broken into a million of pieces. She looked at Umi lying in the pool of her own blood, with one single tear that had flowed of her gorgeus blue eyes that were still wide open and she thought that she'd die right there as well.
Fuu closed Umi's eyes and stayed in silent with Hikaru who still was crying over Umi's body.
Twenty minutes later, the police, emergency and Umi's dad arrived at the place.
Umi's dad saw his child dead, Fuu in completely shock and Hikaru in despair.
They had stayed with Umi until the end.
He felt on his knees and also started to cry. He had lost his only child. The girl he has idolized since she was born.
The police man said: - Lady's, we have to take your statement. – But Fuu didn't reacted and Hikaru only cried.
Umi's dad was on his feet again and said: - Please, let them be. There are friends of my daugher. I'll take them to their home, and when they are gonna felling better, I'll take them to the station police myself.
Fuu and Hikaru were examineted and cleared.
Only Hikaru was able to talk to the police and tell the whole story to Umi's father. Fuu was still in shook and didn't speak or reacted.
At Umi's funeral, both of them remained hugged and cried all the way. Fuu kept Umi's necklace in her hand. There was still stains of blood on it.
The day after Umi's funeral was the worst for Fuu. She didn't felt will to talk or do anything and barely were able to sleep. Just spend the intire day looking through the window until Hikaru came along and set next to her.
Fuu chan, we have to go back to Cephiro. They are probabily worried right now. It's been a week. – Hikaru expected an answer, but with no avail.
The blond girl looked at her petite friend and put into Hikaru's hands a white tissue. – I can't go back right now. But, please, if you go, take this to Ascot.

Caldina approached and asked with worried in her eyes, because she had never seen Hikaru so sad like this.

She'll never come back. – That was all that Hikaru was able to talk.
Who won't come back? – Ferio asked feeling he sink. – I knew it. I knew something was wrong.
Clef hit Fério in the head with his staff.
Shut up, Fério. – Clef looked at Fério with the most serious expression. they all had ever seen. He stood in front Hikaru and asked in a gentle voice.
Hikaru, what happened? Are you hurt? – She just shook her head.
Fério steped in receiving several disapproving looks. – Fuu, Fuu is ok? Why didn't she come back with you.
Ferio, calm down. – asked Clef.
Hikaru, Fuu is hurt? – Clef asked and again, Hikaru shook her head.
Umi, what about Umi, honey? – Asked Caldina trying to stay calm, but when Hikaru heard the name of her best friend she freakead out and grabbed Lantis's robes in a way that he was scared for her.
She... she saved my life. She supposed to be here, not me. – And saying that, she passed out. revealing what she had in her hands. When Cladina saw it, she screamed so loud and started to cry desperately.
Someone can explain what is happening? – Asked Fério confused.

Downstairs, Caldina couldn't stop to tremble.

She only had eyes for her little brother who didn't stop stare the necklace.

We arrived in Tokyo and on the way home we came across a big mess. There were people running and scared. There was a loud noise, but Umi, Fuu and I stayed together and found a shelter to hide us. – Tears were flowing again.
In the middle of the mess, we didn't notice that a bullet had hit Umi.
