I died.
I knew that perfectly well.
Yet here I was perfectly in the absolute darkness well aware of my self. A strange feeling of weightlessness surrounded me.
I knew I was dead, I lived a well of life, I was an average man, worked in different areas, saw a lot of the world and even though I was only 34 I was content so I didn't regret my life.
So when I was suddenly killed off in an airplane crash and woke up in this void I didn't really make much of it.
I have been here for a while. Don't really know how long, it could be hours, days, weeks, hell even years I wasn't sure but I didn't really care.
Suddenly I felt a pull and a bright light exploded in front me causing me to close my eyes.
"CURIOUS" I heard a... Voice?. Because it certainly didn't make sounds I had ever heard before yet I understood it perfectly well.
"FEAR NOT I AM SIMPLY CURIOUS ABOUT HOW YOU ESCAPE THE CIRCLE OF REINCARNATION AND ENEDED UP IN THE VOID"
I opened my eyes to stare at the being of light, it's form ever changing I felt like my head was being split in two just from looking at it.
"IT SEEMS YOU ARE HAVING A HARD TIME LOOKING AT MY FORM SO HOW ABOUT This is it much better"
It seemed to notice it's effect on me and suddenly it shrunk to my size and took on a human form.
It look like an average look person someone you wouldn't even think twice about if you had crossed paths with in your everyday life.
"Thank you, it's actually much easier like this" I replied nodding my head.
"Well as I said before I am curious on how you are here. Mortals lack the power to survive the void yet you have been here for quite a while" it asked, raising an eyebrow at me.
I could see it was truly curious but unfortunately I didn't know.
"I'm sorry but I don't really know" I told shaking my head at it. " I simply felt a pull when the plane when down as woke up in a strange relaxing darkness".
It tilted its head looking at me with such intensity that I started to feel a weight trying to drag me down then suddenly nothing.
"I. SEE" the way he said it and the small smile that appeared on its face for a simple second told me it's knew something but I really didn't want to even think about it so I tried to change the subject.
"I'M sorry but what happens now... I know I'm dead... I am dead right?" I spoke trying to confirm if I truly was dead because for all I knew it could be that I was simply in a coma in the hospital.
"Yes you are well and truly dead" its replied.
"So what happens now... What happens to To ME".
I was nervous... For all I knew this god... And yes I was pretty sure this thing in front of me was a god... Would decide to wipe me out of existence.
"Well you would have been in the reincarnation cycle and move on to your next life in normal circumstances but you left the cycle and ended up in the void in with moral life should have been wiped and absorbed by the void"
I suddenly well a chill down my spine at the fate I should have surfered had I not had luck or whatever on my side.
"Can't you just put me back in the cycle and be done with it" I asked.
"No... Once a soul has been removed with out proper control its not possible to return it without causing much change and damage to the cycle".
So was I now trapped to be in the void forever.. I mean it was nice but the fact that I was still a mortal soul and could be absorbed was a terrifying thought I didn't want to take the chance regardless of how I survived this long.
"Well I am feeling a little generous at the moment and think of it about thanks for showing me something unique and new for all my eons".
It stated as I suddenly felt a little suspicious at the twinkles in it eyes but I would take whatever it was.
"I'll reincarnate you in a new multiverse I'll even throw in 3 wishes for you how about it". It said, eyes glowing brighter and the nervous feeling returned 10fold.
But it was something that could be a change, A chance to live out my dream from back when I was a kid. Back when I read fanfictions, manga and drowned myself in so much animes.
"Which multiverse are we talking about here?" I was nervous but equally excited.
"Well I can't spoil the fun now can I... So will you take the offer" it grinned at me.
"Yes I'll take it" I said trying to sound as confident as I could.
"Great I'll give you sometime to think about your wishes". Clapping his hands together.
"No need I already know what I want". As I have always known what I want if I ever got this opportunity.
"ohhhh you are a fascinating man" it stated. "So what will it be".
"My first wish, I wish to have all of Alucard's powers from the hellsing anime and I mean all even Schrodinger power".
Alucard was already OP with his powers, souls but when he got Schrodinger's power of omnipresent he truly became unkillable.
"hmm" it's stood there and for a moment I thought it would reject my wish but "Okay but under the condition that your powers would come gradually and you'll get all of the power after a 100 years and Schrodinger's power will only be accessed on your 100year is that okay". It's snapped its fingers.
"Yes its okay, great in fact" as it's was a simple condition he'll starting developing powers and after a 100 years he'll be well and truly immortal.
"Okay second wish. I wish for a system but not like all this other systems. What I want is a system with a status page, limitless inventory and an omniveres store with system points."
"I see, you don't want a system that would control you and your decision only to check your status and being able to get abilities and items from the infinite multiverse. Clever" it chuckled and snapped its fingers "Done... Last wish".
I smirked okay this was the last and final wish. I already had a body and soul of limitless potential, near unkillable and a store to help become even more powerful now to secure the final thing to become well and truly nigh-omnipotent.
"I wish for infinite system points" I was already giddy at the thought but it seems it just couldn't be.
"Nope sorry can't do that" it's Said And I felt a title wave of disappointment.
"Why?" I couldn't help but ask.
"The concept of infinity can be tricky, given that I am also a higher level being existing outside of the multiverse I am sending you to and as it would in a sense affect the system given to you as the shop adjusts the items in there to the price it sees fit to the affordable and difficult to obtain"
Okay I see I can understand it's not that he can make it infinite but the laws of the universe are not the same there by it would cause trouble but okay I can work with that.
"Okay I was to obtain a 1000 system point every second I exist... Is that possible" I asked hoping it would work.
It stared at me for a while making me think it wasn't possible before it broke out laughing.
"You really don't want to let up do you" he said as he kept laughing "okay that will do" he then snapped his fingers.
"Now that everything is done its time to send you on your way."
"Do I have to do anything or something while I'm there" I asked because even now I was still a little suspicious of this being.
"No just have fun... Be good, be bad, live life like a lazy bum, conquer the infinite multiverse I don't really care. It's all up to you now, what you do with your life is ours... So good luck" and with that I saw my soul being to fade away from the void.
With one last thank you I vanished away to start my new life.
