Chapter 11

Cersei Lannister POV

I slept through my first class today, and when I eventually did wake up my head was pounding. I've been thinking about my baby a lot lately, and how I wish they were here. I'm trying to focus on my school and writing, but I only feel like myself when I'm drunk or when I'm with Jaime.

I'm sitting at home, smoking a cigarette. It's like noon and I'm still in pajamas. I have class in an hour, and I'm not sure I'll be able to motivate myself to go. My phone dings, it's a text from Dany.

*Hey, what are you doing next weekend?* She usually calls me, I'm not sure why she didn't just do that.

*Maybe going to a party, why?*

Ding. *Margaery is having a Halloween party, and she invited us.*

*I'll have to ask Jaime if we can make it in town, but I'll let you know.*

*Ok :)*. I'm still not sure why she didn't call me. A couple minutes later, Jaime walks in from being in his class.

"Hey," he says walking in. "Did you just wake up?"

"Yeah," I respond, putting out my cigarette. "I slept through my first class."

"You know we're not supposed to smoke inside."

"Fine," I say, getting up and heading back to my room. I don't need him to parent me right now.

"Cersei," he says. "Come back. Sit down, lets talk."

I turn around. "About what?"

"I'm worried about you." I just look at him and sit back on the couch.

"Why?" I ask.

"You haven't been going to class as much, and you seem really depressed." At least he didn't bring up my drinking. That would have really set me off.

"I've been thinking about our baby," I respond. "I just wish they were here, and we had someone to love."

"I know," it seems like he doesn't know what to say. "But we have each other to love. They're in a better place, and I believe it will still happen for us one day." He gives me a hug.

"I hope it will," I respond. "I want a baby with you."

"And I want one with you," he says, giving me a tender kiss on the temple. "You have class in less than an hour, right?"

"Yeah."

"How about this? You get up, brush your teeth, and go to class. When you come back, you can take a shower and then I'll take you to get food."

"That would be good," I respond. "I haven't eaten today."

"Exactly. Now get yourself ready." I get up and start getting dressed. I don't know what I'd do without him. I feel like I would've already killed myself if I didn't have him by my side.

Sansa Stark POV

Margaery invited me to go to the costume shop with her today to pick out Halloween outfits. She's having a Halloween party, which she invited me to. I think I'm going to go, considering I'm surprised she invited me at all. She also invited Jon and Dany, and I feel better knowing that they'll probably go.

"Do you know what you want to be for Halloween?" Margaery asks me as we're shopping.

"I really don't," I say. "Definitely something that doesn't make me look slutty."

"You're being a real downer lately," Margaery says to me. "I invited you to this party so that you could get out of the house, despite Missandei and Myranda telling me not to." I really don't want to be un-invited to the party. I'm sure Ramsay will be there, but I need to go to show them I'm fine and they can't hurt me.

"I'm thinking something pretty, not spooky," I say, changing the subject. "Let me know if you find anything that fits that."

"I'm thinking something sexy," Margaery responds. "I've been single too long."

"Oh, is there anyone you have your eye on?"

"One of Jon's friends is really cute."

"Which one?" I ask, even though I think I know.

"Gendry," she says. "He's so hot." That's not what I thought she was going to say.

"I thought you were going to say Podrick," I say, surprised. "Why Gendry? I thought you didn't even hardly know him."

"He's in my math class this year," she responds. "I don't know if you've noticed, but he's ripped."

"I mean, yeah, he's cute," I say. "I just thought you wouldn't like him because he isn't popular."

"Well now that Jon is with Dany, I feel like it's more acceptable to have him around," Margaery says. "Can you ask Jon to invite him to the Halloween party?"

"Why don't you ask him?"

"I'm too nervous, and I don't even have his number yet." I don't want to ask Jon to invite Gendry so Margaery can get with him, but what am I supposed to say, that my 13-year-old sister called dibs on him? That's not going to work.

"Sure, I'll ask."

I decide on a fairy-type costume. It was cheap and it covered me up decently. It shows my collarbones, which I'm happy are starting to protrude out. At least there's that. When we pull up to my house, I can see Jon's car there.

"Why don't you come in and ask Jon if he'll bring Gendry to the party?" I ask Margaery. "It looks like he's home."

"Okay," Margaery replies, sounding nervous. We walk into the house and Jon is watching TV with Bran on the couch. Arya is reading in a chair. Shit, does she have to be here for this?

"Jon?" I ask him. He turns around to look at me. "Margaery has something she wants to ask you."

"What's up?" He asks her.

"You and Dany are coming to my Halloween party next weekend, right?" She asks.

"Yeah," Jon responds.

"I was wondering if you would invite Gendry," Margaery says. "No pressure, just wanted to ask."

"Why?" Jon asks. "I mean, I'm sure he'll come, but I didn't think you knew him that well." Margaery just falls silent.

"She likes him," I say. Arya looks up from her book at me.

"Sansa!" Margaery says.

"Oh, okay," Jon responds. He seems really cool about it. "Yeah, I'll ask."

"Thank you," Margaery says. "Bye, Sansa." She gives me a hug and heads out. I head up to my room and Arya follows me.

"Sansa," she says as we go into our room. "What was that about?"

I sit on my bed. "Margaery wanted to invite Gendry to her Halloween party," I respond. "She's into him, I guess."

"Did you try to talk her out of it?"

"Why would I?"

"Because I like him."

"Arya," I say. She can't be serious. "You know Gendry is way too old for you, you said it yourself."

"It doesn't mean I want you basically throwing other girls at him," she responds. "It makes me feel weird."

"I can't just say my 13-year-old sister likes him, so you can't date him. It doesn't work like that, she would still try."

"I just thought you'd think about me and try to at least talk her out of it."

"You're being ridiculous," I say. I start doing my homework and Arya starts reading again. She doesn't talk to me for the rest of the night.

Jon Snow Stark POV

Dany said I could come over tonight. Her dad is out of town for a bit and she said she wants to ask me a question. I hope she isn't dumping me, I really do like her. I knock on the door and she opens it. "Hey," she says.

"Are we okay?" I ask, walking in.

"Yeah, I think so," she responds, sitting on the couch. "I just don't want you to feel like I'm telling you who you can and can't hang out with."

I sit next to her. "It did feel like that a little bit, but I won't hang out with Ygritte one-on-one if you really don't want me to."

"I'm not going to make you do anything," she responds. "I just wanted you to know how I felt about it."

"So we're good?" I ask.

"Of course." We kiss and eventually we're full on making out on the couch. We take things up to her room.

We're laying in bed after sex, Dany is on her phone. "You still want to go to Margaery's Halloween party, right?" I ask her.

"Yeah, for sure," she responds. "I invited Cersei and Jaime, but Cersei doesn't know if they'll be able to come to town for it."

"Margaery asked me to invite Gendry yesterday."

"Really?" Dany seems surprised at that. "Why?"

"I guess she's into him," I respond. "I texted him and he said he'd be there if he could ride with us."

"Sure, that's fine. He's handsome but I never saw him as Margaery's type."

"Maybe she just wants to hook up with him," I respond. "And if so, good luck with that because he's not much of a ladies' man." Dany laughs at that.

"Neither were you," she says.

"I'm still not," I say. "You're the only one for me." She leans against my shoulder and we cuddle until I have to leave.
