Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back for another story, this one about G.I JOE. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own GI JOE; Hasbro and a few others do.

Cobra Commander was NOT happy despite what he was eager to say. Not at all, not even a small degree of mercy or control within his body was happy and it was all because of THEM.

Destro constantly blamed Cobra's failures on the fact that he was such a worthless and pathetic fool, something that he would not argue over simply because he had little time nor effort to place within such things… But it was NOT purely his fault, not at all. The G.I. JOES were the ones the weapon dealer should direct his hatred towards.

Despite all his bluster? He was not stupid as a terrorist leader, nor was he inept. He made mistakes and he was willing to admit fault to a degree… His rage from so long ago was not at all unique to him. The Joes had continued to grow in power and authority, wiping out their operations CONSTANTLY and it angered him to know just how powerful his worst enemies had grown without him being able to wipe them out so thoroughly, so painfully and thoroughly thrown off, utterly so.

He knew better than to bring up these damn concerns to anyone. They had better things to do after their last mission ended with them losing an entire battleship… Merely because Destro couldn't damn well bare to part with a piece they could easily replace through his connections. It was so infuriating to him that the man wanted to punch a hole through the man's metal face.

Still? There was… Better plans, yes, he believed he had one such idea that could only get them so far… But one that may just win them the war against the accursed GI Joes. Yes, it would be brilliant and he knew just how well to try and carry it out.

"Soon… GI Joe will be nothing more than a floating mess on the ocean and then I'll come after their accursed little base." Cobra Commander stated before he looked up and into the ceiling.

He decided off telling the others until later. Destro would no doubt try and either see through it and try and use it as a chance to try and take him down a peg. Nor would he tell Baroness, her damn lies would just make him remember that she was more loyal to her husband than anyone within Cobra.

No, that left only a few in on the plan which also meant GI Joe would not be any wiser as well, it would come across as brilliant even if they hated him. All of Cobra would benefit, not just the small fish that his henchmen seemed to care about. Their infighting would be the first thing that had to go and not just for his sake.

"Soon, GI Joe… Soon." Cobra Commander said before he slowly exited his office, otherwise tired from it all and eager to get to work.

(U.S.S Flagg)

Keel Haul looked at the remnants of the Cobra forces, utterly unsure of what to do next, not at all sure what to do. The fleet ahead of him was utterly unsure what to try and focus upon certain measures at the end of the day.

Keel Haul continued to observe the wreckage ahead of what to do at the end of the day. The Cobras were utterly silent, unsure of what to do next, not at all focused upon a certain goal. Part of the Admiral was utterly happy to see them this way and yet? he didn't at all know what to expect from their enemies and beyond that? Simply what was coming, how well it'd be, and just what to expect from today and beyond all shadow of a doubt needed to be dealt with now. There was just too much to try and deal with at the end of the day.

There was a lot more to try and fixate upon the day's end. They needed to get to relax and it couldn't be dealt with so easily, not at all, not when it was hard to deal with at this juncture.

Not without certain ideas and certain theories on the mind to try and deal with over and over.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be delayed and will be much more to try and deal with. The next chapter will be 900-6500 words and will be 2-10 months later and will set up Cobra's plan and goal. The next chapter will be a lot longer and will explain more cast and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf is out!
