Flashback 12 Years Ago: Naoto's POV

My mind was racing at miles an hour. Irina a childhood friend of Issei and I, had left to go live someplace else. Issei my best friend had been depressed but I never thought he'd give up on life and become suicidal. Mom and dad had to explain to me to be patient as Issei's parents were also overwhelmed by this. I cried a lot ever since but as I looked outside my window and saw a pamphlet land on my window. I gently opened my window and pried it softly from it so it wouldn't tear up. I then began to read it and see what it entailed.

''Attention, Old Magician who performs miracle magic trick at the park. Saturday afternoon at 1 PM. Don't miss out folks!'' Was written all over it with pictures of a magician performing magic tricks. I clutched the paper as realization struck me and I immediately came downstairs to warn mom and dad about it.

''Mom! Dad! I just had an idea to help Issei! Can we go to his house to share it with his parents?!'' I asked as my mom and dad gently put their coffee on the table to look at me.

Dad has yellow-blond, spiky hair and blue eyes while inheriting the shape of his mother's eyes and face. His trademark characteristics are the three whisker markings on his cheeks. he wears an orange sweatshirt with black stripes, black pants, and sandals.

Mom is a beautiful young woman with long, straight silver hair and aqua-colored eyes who appears to be in her late teens. Mom wears a simple business suit and skirt. She is a teacher teaching at school.

''Oh, Naoto-Sochi. So you have an Idea to help your Friend Issei?'' Mom asked as I nodded and showed her the pamphlet. She began to read it and say her thoughts.

''Oh...Sochi, it is nice but I just don't think that it is the right thing to help your friend.'' Mom tried to say only for Dad to cut her and say his share on the matter.

"Rossweiss-Koi, our son is simply not giving up on his friend, I didn't give up on you even if you are a hopeless romantic so why are you encouraging him to not help him.'' Dad said and mom got flustered and answered him back.

''Naruto-Koi, I'm not trying to do that...I just think that it might not be the best treatment...'' Mom tried to say only for dad to further explain his reasoning.

''Rossweiss-Koi, Miki and Gorou are exhausted and desperate. Issei is their only child right now and YOU KNOW how much they had problems starting a family. Besides, Naoto-Sochi WILL have at least tried to save or help his friend. Do it for him Koi.'' Naruto said as mom nodded and gave her answer.

''I'll inform Miki so Gorou can have free time this Saturday for this. If it makes you happy son and also helps Issei then so be it.'' Mom said as I jumped in the air and began running happily around the house. I had no idea this would be such a good one until I matured years later.

Flashback End: Scene Change: Present Time: Naoto's POV

I finished class for today as I began walking through the halls of Kuoh High with Issei as we were on our way home, we made chatter along the way.

''So Naoto, do you enjoy Kuoh High thus far? Look at all these Oppais, the wonderful girls in swimsuits, etc. You can't tell me it's not a blessing!'' Issei said as I answered him.

''I am enjoying it although far less than you. I'll take your perverted ass any day over what you were 12 years ago.'' I said as Issei nodded and kept talking as we began putting our shoes at the school's front entrance.

''Speaking of, do you actually research Oppais, or are you a butt guy?'' Issei asked me as tried to deflect the subject as I didn't want to get beat up by the Kendo Club just like him earlier.

''I'll wait until my first serious relationship before deciding. I don't want to be spoiled after all.'' I said as Issei nodded proudly and said his piece as we were about to leave the school gates.

''I understand ya, it ruins the full course experience,'' Issei said only for us, well more like he was stopped by a cute girl who began talking to him.

''Ano...are you Hyoudou-Kun?'' She asked Issei and he nodded.

''I-I'm Yuuma Amano. I always watched you walk to school and ever since then I've been in love with you. Please go out with me!'' The now-known Yuuma said as Issei gave her a thumbs up and accepted her proposal.

''Great, then I'll see you this Saturday then Yuuma'' Issei said as she left and while he and I walked home I decided to warn him.

''Buddy, her school is miles away. Don't you think it is weird that she has been watching you walk to school but her school is on the opposite end of the town?'' I asked him as Issei shrugged and told me not to worry.

''I'll be fine Naoto, even if weird, why should I be getting alarm bell's right now?'' Issei asked me. It was a valid question but I could just easily explain myself by mentioning Rin-Kun to him without telling him that Rin is a girl.

''I dunno, how about that when Rin-Kun left, you were so depressed that you became suicidal. Is that enough reason to worry?'' I asked him as he nodded and said his piece before entering his home.

''Good point, here's a deal then. If things ever go sour, I'll call ya on your cellphone to ask for help okay?'' Issei said as I nodded and we shook hands to signify an agreement made as we each got back to our respective homes.
