Liam was sent to detention a few minutes before going to the principal's office.

Consequently, those three guys were sent to detention as well.

The other bullies looked terrified as they should. They didn't want to get too close as Liam stared them down. Only Liam can make green eyes look so menacing yet cold, as if they would glow any second and fire laser beams. They sat on the other side of the room.

Suddenly, a door opened.

"Mr. Barrows, you're needed in the principal's office"

"Yes, ma'am"

As Liam got up, he walked past the guys, they all scurried to the other side of the room.

Liam was then sent to the principal's office and Liam's uncle, Ethan was there.

Ethan was a burly man with hairy arms, a beard and mustache, and rectangular glasses.

Liam sighed solemnly.

"Here we go."

Liam's uncle didn't look so happy either.

"Take a seat, Mr. Barrows." The principal said to Liam.

Liam then sat down

"Your nephew got into a fight with 3 boys here at the school", The Principal said to Ethan.

"Is this true Liam?"

"Yes, Uncle."

"How come?"

"Apparently he was trying to play hero by stopping an attempt at bullying."

"Bullying?"

Ethan looked at Liam.

"Yes, but It is against the school's policy for any fighting under any circumstances."

"Wait a minute, aren't you going to hear his side?"

"We have and we are aware of what happened, but there is still a no-aggression policy. We are against bullying, but also against fighting no matter the cause, rules are rules."

Liam's uncle was left with a stern expression.

"I see."

"As such, we have placed him under one week's suspension. He can come back in a week, but if it goes on, he will be expelled."

Liam's uncle then looked at Liam with a look and then back to the principal.

"Understood. Thank you."

Liam then sighed vexed.

The principal continued

"Thank you for coming in, we need to keep this a place for learning instead of fighting."

The principal and Liam's uncle shook hands and led both Liam and his uncle out the door.

Liam and his uncle left disappointed at the school and everyone in there looked.

As soon as Liam and his uncle left for the latter's house, they sat down.

Liam's uncle then got up and walked over to Liam, with his hand coming up.

Liam was prepared to get a strong reprimand, but Liam's uncle put his hand on Liam's shoulder and hugged him.

"We'll have to find something for you this week before you go back." He smiled.
