The witches piled into the medical bay after hearing that both Han and Luke were found. It was around late morning when they heard the good news from one of the deck officers. The witches saw Luke getting pumped with drugs and bacta in a tank. They were joined by 3PO, R2, Han, Chewie, and Leia. The girls notice that Luke was thrashing about in delirium as the bacta was soaking into his body. Once he was fully awake, Luke swam upwards out of the tank.

Luke was sitting up in a recovery-room bed. He was still weak from the Wampa attack, but he did not show it. The two droids enter the room happy to see their master safe and sound again.

"Master Luke, sir, it's so good to see you fully functional again," 3PO said. R2 beeped in excitement, which sounded like good wishes. "R2 also expresses his relief, also."

Han, Chewie, and the witches made their entrances. The hairy beast growled a greeting.

"How are you feeling, kid? You don't look so bad to me. In fact, you look strong enough to pull the ears off a Gundark," Han said, cheering Luke up.

"Not only that, it looks like you can fight an adult cockatrice all by yourself," Akko said, smiling a toothy grin.

"Thanks to you, Han," Luke said smiling.

"That's two you owe me, junior," Han said.

Han turned to see Leia entering the room. The smuggler looked at her with a big devilish grin. "Well your worship, looks like you managed to keep me around here for a little while longer," he said.

"I had nothing to do with it. General Rieekan thinks it's dangerous for any ships to leave the system until we've activated the energy shield," Leia replied back.

"That's a good story. But I think you just can't bear to let a gorgeous guy like me out of your sight," Han said. Hannah and Barbara silently chuckled at this remark.

"I don't know where you get your delusions, laser brain," Leia said in astonishment.

Chewie, Diana, Akko, Hannah, and Barbara were amused at this as they were laughing at Han's expense. Han, enjoying himself too, regarded them in good humor. "Laugh it up, fuzzball. But you didn't see us alone in the south passage," Han said in good humor, "She expressed her true feelings for me."

This sparked Luke's attention as he and the witches looked at Leia. Leia's face was flushed as her eyes darted between the young Skywalker and the smuggler. "Why you stuck up…half-witted…scruffy-looking…nerf-herder!" Leia shouted at Han.

Han turned to Leia and asked, "Who's scruffy looking? I must have hit pretty close to the mark to get her all riled up like that, huh my children?"

Leia looked vulnerable for a moment as she looked around the room. Her expression changes again as she focuses on Luke. "Well, I guess you don't know everything about women yet?" Leia asked as she started kissing Luke on the lips. Akko let out a whistle as everyone was left dumbstruck. Luke felt smug as he put his hands behind his head and grinned. The loudspeaker cackled to life as it was ordering personnel to report to the command center. Everyone shook out of their stupor as the announcer repeated himself. The group hurried out of the room, bidding the young Skywalker a farewell.

"Take it easy," Han said, still reeling after the shock.

An officer was looking very grim at a console screen. He called Han, Leia, and the witches over to his position. "Princess…we have a visitor," the officer said. The gang hurried over to the officer. "We have picked up something outside the base in zone 12, moving east. It looks like it's metal."

"Then it can not be one of those creatures that attacked Luke," Leia said.

"It can be a droid then," Diana said.

"Nonsense, other than us, there is no sign of life for there to be any droids out there," Hannah said.

"Then it could be a speeder, one of ours," Han said.

"Wait, no it's not a speeder. There seems to be something very weak coming through," the officer said.

C3PO walked up to the control panel as the gang was listening to the weird language. "Sir, madam, I am fluent in six million forms of communication. This signal is not used by the Alliance, it could be an imperial code," 3PO informed.

"Kuso," Akko said, "Do you think that the Empire might have found us?"

"We do not know," the officer said.

"Well, whatever it is, it does not sound friendly. Come on, Chewie, girls, let's check it out," Han said, leaving the room. The witches and the Wookie followed behind the smuggler, matching his speed.

A dark Imperial probe droid was moving past smoldering ruins and started its way towards the Rebel base. The droid raised its large antenna from the top of its head and started to send out a signal. It took a few minutes until the droid felt something cold and solid hit him. It turned and saw a young girl throwing snowballs at it. The girl was making faces as the droid started to fire its deadly blaster bolt. But before it could get one shot out, the droid was hit again on its back side by a blaster bolt. The droid exploded into a million pieces as the gang peered over its wreckage.

Han pulled out his commlink and said, "Afraid there's not much left."

"What was it?" Han heard Leia ask.

"Droid of some kind. I did not hit it that hard, but it must have had a self-destruct of some kind," Han explained.

"It was an Imperial Probe droid," Akko said, walking over to Han.

"Shit, does that mean?" Hannah asked.

"The Empire knows we're here, well that is a good bet," Han said.

The girls all looked at each other in fear as Han and Chewie made their way back to base.
