3:10 PM Liam's Residence
Exhausted but satisfied from completing a day at school, Liam then plopped on his bed on his back.
"I'm home."
Liam's uncle, Ethan came in.
"Hey Liam, how was school?"
"It was fine".
"What did you do today?"
"Well, I had Phys Ed, Math, Chemistry, and English class today"
"Oh, so you started making a few friends huh?"
"I think so, turns out the Phys Ed coach was a Helicopter pilot in the Air Force in the 90s"
"Wow small world, the sky's the limit huh Liam."
"Yup"
"Cool, but did you make any connections with people your age?"
"Can't say for, but I ran alongside a popular athlete named David in gym class. He was a gifted runner and he said, 'Good job'."
"Ah, hanging with the cool kids huh, good to see you were in top form."
"I'm getting there."
"Any girls?" Ethan teased.
Liam chuckled almost embarrassed
"Well, there was also this one time in chemistry class where I was paired with a girl named Samantha and this one girl at the rope climb at P.E., her name was Alex," Liam said almost sheepishly.
"Really, how did it go?"
"I'll admit I was a bit nervous, but it turned out well, Sam and I did well on the assignment, and Alex was quite a good athlete."
Ethan nodded.
"Wow. Sounds like you're holding your own well, your mother would be proud."
Liam smiled,
"Thank you."
"Now get through your homework"
"Yes sir"
"And we'll work on a potential Valentine's Day letter for either Samantha or Alex" Ethan teased.
"Uncle Ethan" Liam scolded almost embarrassed.
Ethan laughed and gave Liam a shoulder hug.
"Just kidding…"
Liam shook his head and chuckled before getting up to finish his homework.
