Chapter 2: Gamora's Lullaby.
Kenny was having a hard time falling asleep. He had seen a scary creature during the last mission and had been having nightmares ever since. He dreamt he was in a dark space, running from the creature but gaining no lead as the creature closed its mouth to eat him. He awoke with a loud scream. He panted with tears in his eyes before he heard footsteps. He looked and saw Gamora.
"Kenny?" she asked. Kenny got out of bed and ran and hugged her.
"I had that nightmare again." Kenny sobbed. Gamora looked sympathetic as she hugged him.
"Calm down. Easy, Kenny. It's going to be okay." she said before she picked him up and walked to his bed and sat down with him, rocking him back and forth.
Gamora sat with the boy on her shoulder as she started to sing.

Gamora smiled as Kenny had stopped crying and fell asleep. She took him off her shoulder and laid him down on his pillow and tucked him in.
"Good night, little one. Momma will be there by your side, always." Gamora said before she headed to bed.
