This is a remake of an original story I wrote from 2014-2015! I decided it would be fun to go through the old ranger series to update them and or change some things I have an issue with now. I decided to keep the original one up since it's a classic and I don't want to get rid of memories, my first ranger series.
I do not own Power Rangers! I only own the story and some characters! Characters were created by Batmarcus, bammybell, TimmayIsAwesome, I love power rangers7135, decode9, megabooknerd3471, GosseiShinkenPink, gandalf42, and Jetman2! Please review and favorite for more!
"Where are you taking us?" Tia asks.
The five teens were being led by Jayden through the forest just outside of Meadowedge. They were well past the city limit and at this point were basically like in the middle of nowhere, well nowhere to the teens. Not to Jayden.
Jayden held a small device in his hands.
"I'll tell you soon enough," Jayden said looking at the device.
Zane storms over.
He steps in front of Jayden, causing Jayden to halt. The rest of the teens stopped walking as well. Zane was in Jayden's face, looking at the older teen with a small glare.
"No, you will tell us now. Or else we'll turn around and tell the cops." Zane said.
Jayden laughs.
Tim looks at Jayden, "Wh- What's so funny?"
Jayden kept his eyes on Zane.
"You're joking right?" Jayden asks.
Zane doesn't back down.
"I am dead serious." Zane said.
Jayden had a smirk on his face.
"And say what? That you and your friends were attacked by flying monkeys? They'll think you're just pranking them." Jayden said.
Tia looks at Zane.
"He has a point. No one would take us seriously with a story like that." Tia said.
Zane looks from Tia and then to Jayden. Zane didn't like how smug Jayden was at this moment. It really annoyed him.
Liz jumps in the middle.
"Can you at least tell us where you're taking us? We deserve that." Liz said.
Jayden looks from Zane and then to the bubbly blonde. Liz looks at Jayden with a small smile. Jayden sighs and runs a hand through his hair, he looks from her and then to the rest.
"I'm taking you to a hidden temple." Jayden said.
Zane scoffs.
"You're joking." Zane said.
Jayden shifts a look at Zane.
"No, I'm not. This temple is hidden from the public and only those who are students, mentors, and well me know where it's at." Jayden said.
He began to walk again, which caused the five teens to follow after him.
"Look, if I am wrong about you guys, I'll personally apologize for all of this." Jayden said.
Zane frowns.
"And how much longer until we reach this temple?" Zane asks.
"Soon," Jayden looks back at the device.
Tim jogs a little to catch up to Jayden. Tim looks up at him.
"Who do you think we are?" Tim asks.
Jayden sighs, "It'll be explained when we get there."
They continue on, and despite his best efforts to shut down any and all questions it didn't stop the five from asking him the same thing on repeat. It was so annoying to Jayden. He tries to tune them out, but they keep asking and asking.
Jayden moves a tree branch revealing the temple.
Jayden sighs of relief.
"Finally," He says.
Usually he's one to be excited to leave the place, but for once he was so thrilled to be back. Finally he can dump these kids off to Daichi or Jun and just go back to trying to figure out Vaatu's next move.
"We have to go up all those stairs?" Alex asks.
Jayden glanced back at them.
"Sorry our elevator is currently broken." Jayden said.
Jayden went on walking.
"Wait-? Was that a joke?" Alex asks.
Tim walks past him.
Alex looks at Liz, "Was it a joke?"
Liz shrugs her shoulders as she walks.
Alex looks at Zane and Tia.
"Was it?" Alex asks.
Tia sighs.
"Yes. God, you're so dense sometimes." Tia shakes her head.
Tia follows after her cousin and Zane follows her.
"Hey-! I'm not dense!" Alex yells.
Alex follows after them.
As they all walk up the long stairs, the teens really take in the age of the temple. Just based off the walkway alone, the stone steps looked to date back ages ago. And yet somehow, no one in town knew it was here. Or if they did, they were doing a good job at keeping it a secret.
Liz looks at Jayden.
"Is anyone at the temple?" She asks.
Jayden looks at her.
"I mean there are mentors and students, but usually the students go home after training. They live in the city, among you guys." Jayden said.
Tia tilts her head.
"So there are neighbors of ours who come here and train, and yet keep this place hidden? How long has this been happening?" Tia asks.
Jayden shrugs.
"Honestly for as long as I can remember, maybe even before I was born." Jayden said, "It's the way it's always been."
"Cool, a vague answer." Zane said.
"Don't like it? I can always shut up." Jayden turns forward and walks a little faster up the steps.
Jayden puts some distance between the five as they walk up the stone steps leading to the top of the temple.
Tim groans.
"Jesus, how can anyone walk up these stairs without being at least somewhat tired?" Time exhales.
Tia looks from Tim to Jayden.
"Maybe he lives here." She said.
Liz shakes her head.
"No way! He doesn't look like someone who would live in a temple." Liz said.
Tia smirks at her cousin, "And what would that look like?"
Liz shrugs.
"I don't know?" Liz said.
Zane frowns.
"I don't trust him." Zane said.
Alex looks at Zane.
"Why?" Alex asks.
Zane looks at his new friends.
"I don't know. Too many unanswered questions." Zane tells them.
Tia looks at Zane.
"I understand your hesitation, but- but he did save us. I think he is a decent person, a grumpy one but decent." Tia said with a small smile.
Zane frowns and looks forward at the back of Jayden.
Jayden reached the top of the stairs and turned around to look at them climbing up. Tim exhales and complains some more, Liz cheerfully cheers him on, Alex whines a little, Tia keeps quiet, and Zane just holds a stare at Jayden.
It took a few more minutes before the five reached the top of the steps. Upon finally reaching the top, the five were finally able to see what was waiting for them.
There was a large courtyard where students were training, some with bo staffs and others with hand to hand combat. Some of the training was student versus student or student versus mentor. There were buildings circling the courtyard and it seemed to be an endless amount.
Jayden turned to them and he motioned them to follow him.
They walked forward down the stone pathway in the courtyard. The five teens noticed the mentors were the first to take notice and then the students did too. The training exercises were stopping as eyes were on the five teens walking through the courtyard.
Alex nudges Zane.
"Dude, they're all looking at us." Alex said.
Zane looks at Alex.
"I know, dude. I have eyes." He said.
Alex nods.
"I know, it's just- creepy." Alex said.
Zane looks away from Alex and then to the students and mentors looking at them. The mentors seemed to have a calm demeanor on their faces, whereas the students seemed a bit confused.
Zane looked around feeling awkward. Alex felt creeped out. Tim just shrugged his shoulders when he looked at Liz. Liz seemed confused. Tia felt a little put off by the whole ordeal.
Jayden had reached the person he was searching for.
They reach a small class of students with a much older mentor. The mentor looked at Jayden with a small smile, and the two bow their heads in respect for one another.
Jayden lifts his head before the mentor.
He awkwardly clears his throat.
"Sir, uh- I believe they are who we've been waiting for." Jayden said.
The man looked at them and stroked his long beard slowly. He steps away from his students, passing Jayden, and steps in front of the five teens.
He nods as he looks at each of them individually. He started with Liz and ended with Zane.
"Could someone tell us what is going on?" Alex asks.
"Show some respect to Daichi sensei," A student said.
The man chuckles and turns to his students.
"Monty, it's quite alright. Students you are all dismissed." He said.
The students bowed and then headed off, leaving the older man with the teens. This man, Daichi, looks from the teens to Jayden.
"Hello?" Zane asks, "Jayden said we'd get answers once we're here."
The older man chuckles.
"Sorry for that. I can provide you with the answers you seek. My name is Daichi. I am an elder mentor here at this temple." Daichi said.
Liz smiles softly.
"Nice to meet you." She said.
Daichi smiles at her.
"It is an honor to meet you, all of you." Daichi said.
Jayden's eyes flash a little worry, but maybe it was utter shock at the discovery. He moves to meet eye contact with Daichi.
"So- So I was correct?" He spoke to Daichi.
Daichi nods at the teen.
"Yes, Jayden." Daichi said.
Tim looks confused.
"Right about what?" Tim asks, looking at Daichi.
Tia nods.
"Right, not to be rude or anything but we'd really appreciate some sort of explanation as to what is going on." Tia said.
Daichi nods his head at the five.
"An explanation you shall get." Daichi said.
Daichi turns from the teens to Jayden.
"Go find the other elders," Daichi said to Jayden, "They must hear the news as well."
Jayden nods.
"Yes, sir."
Jayden walks off from the teens and Daichi.
Daichi looks at the teens.
"Follow me and everything will be explained." Daichi said.
-ELEMENTFUSION-
"What is this place?" Tia asks.
They all walked down the dark stone stairs into a dark room. It looked much older than everything else in the temple. There were old writings on the walls that none of the teens could read. They didn't know Japanese.
"It's called the hidden vault." Daichi said.
"Hidden vault?" Alex asks.
Daichi nods.
He entered the room completely, he placed the torch in his hands in a spot that hung on the wall for it. Daichi turns to the five and then puts his hands in the sleeves of his robe. The five of them stood in a line in front of him.
"So you gonna tell us what's going on?" Zane asks.
Daichi nods, "Yes. I am." He said.
Daichi turns away from the teens and walks up to the stone wall. The wall had drawings and writing all over them, telling a story. There were some cracks on the surface and falling apart, but it was there nevertheless.
"Thousands of years ago the world we knew was in utter peace, until the evil creature named Vaatu came. He threatened the balance of our way of living and threatened the lives of humanity. He along with his monster army sought out to destroy the human race and conquer Earth as their planet. That plan was foiled by these warriors of legend." Daichi said.
The five look at the drawings.
There were seven pictures of what appeared to be colorful warriors.
"Who are these warriors?" Alex asks.
Tia nudged him, "Hush. Let the man finish." She said.
Daichi smiles faintly.
"These warriors of legend possessed power that no normal human could ever contain. They wielded the power of the elements, more importantly one element for each ranger." Daichi said.
"Wait? Hold it. Did that old man say rangers?" Liz asks.
Tim nods, "That's what I heard."
Zane looked at the old man in disbelief.
"Power Rangers? They are comic book heroes." Zane said.
Daichi grins at Zane.
"Well, apparently you haven't seen one to believe it." Daichi said.
Daichi turns back to the stone wall. He pulled out a brick and inside this little space was an old box. He pulled it out and returned his gaze to the five in front of him.
"The Element Rangers were able to stop Vaatu and his men by sealing Vaatu's spirit into an urn. We all believed we would be safe, that there would be no way that Vaatu could be freed." Daichi said.
Zane tilts his head.
"What do you mean?" Zane asks.
Daichi exhales.
"About eight years ago, someone unsealed Vaatu's seal and he had been revived." Daichi said.
Liz gasps.
"What?" She exclaims.
"Do not worry, young ones. You are the warriors of legends." A new voice said.
Turning around the five teens see Jayden with two older mentors. One looked to be related to Jayden in some manner. The mentors walked down the stairs, and Jayden was keeping his distance.
Zane noted that.
It seemed like Jayden didn't like it in this room, and he wasn't sure why.
"What do you mean we're the warriors of legends?" Alex asks.
Tia nods.
"I am just a junior in high school with dreams of being a musician." Tia said.
"I know this is difficult to accept but you all share something in common with each other binding you together to the power of the elements you possess." One of the mentors spoke.
"Jun is correct, each of you possess the power that can stop Vaatu and his monster army for good." The other one spoke to them.
Daichi nods.
"Kaito here possesses the skill to see auras, so he can tell if you are what we think you are." Daichi said.
Zane looks at Kaito.
"And if we aren't?" He asks uneasily.
Jun looks at him.
"You may leave." Jun said.
Kaito steps in front of Liz.
"Elizabeth Strong," Kaito said.
Liz gasps, "You know my name?" She said.
Kaito nods.
"I can sense it from you as well as your element," Kaito said, "Your element is air."
Liz seemed shocked, "Really?"
"You possess the wisdom or the powers of the mind. You are the element of focus, and you can carry away troubles through the wind. You are the White Element Ranger." Kaito said.
Liz stood in shock.
Then Daichi stepped over and handed her a device. This device looked to be a phone but it wasn't exactly a phone. It was white.
Kaito moves to Tim.
"Timothy Porter. I sense your element. Your element is water." Kaito said.
"Water?" Tim said.
Kaito nods, "You possess the power of healing and purification. Your power is more associated with passion and emotion, like the waves of the ocean. You are the Blue Element Ranger." Kaito said.
Tim glances at Liz. The pair share a small smile. Then Kaito moves to the next teen, as Daichi hands Tim a similar device but it was blue.
Kaito stood in front of Tia.
"Tia Moore, your element is light." Kaito said.
Tia looks at Kaito and nods.
"Light," She spoke.
Kaito nods.
"You possess the power of justice. Your power devotes itself to rid evil from people, your power is a moral power which consists of happiness, peace, and safety. You are the Yellow Element Ranger." Kaito said.
Tia nods, taking it all in.
Daichi steps over and hands her a yellow device.
Kaito was now in front of Alex.
"Alex Rodriquez, your element is earth." Kaito said.
Alex grins.
"Alright, let's go." Alex said.
Kaito smiles.
"You possess the power of common sense and sensibility. Your power is nurturing and stable, just like the planet Earth we stand on. You are the Green Element Ranger." Kaito said.
Alex is handed a green device by Daichi.
Alexgrins to Tia, she looks at him and gives him a small smile.
Kaito stood in front of Zane.
Zane frowns at Kaito.
The pair held a staring contest, but neither blinked or looked away.
Kaito smirks.
"Zane Daniels. You're quite something." Kaito said.
Zane looks at the old man.
"Oh yeah?" Zane said.
"My child you possess the element of fire." Kaito said.
"Fire?" Zane asks.
Kaito nods.
"The power inside of you is difficult, where it can be deep of passion it can also affect a negative way when angered. You are spontaneous and you have the characteristics to be a leader, that is why you are the Red Element Ranger." Kaito said.
"Red Ranger?" Zane asks.
Zane was handed the same device as the others but it was red.
Suddenly the five teens felt a rush of energy flowing through them. Liz felt air spin around her. Tim felt water spin around him and yet wasn't wet. Tia felt light spin around her. Alex felt earth soil spin around him without getting dirty. Zane felt fire spin around him without catching on fire.
"Whoa," Liz said grinning.
"Th- That was strange." Tim said.
Jun looks at the five.
"You understand now?" Jun spoke.
Zane looks at the others and then to the mentors.
He steps forward.
"Yes, we do." Zane said.
The moment was sweet, each teen was excited about this new part of their lives, sure it'll be dangerous but they were glad that they were alone.
The mentors all looked proud at the five of them, sure they weren't complete now but that is an issue they'll deal with later. Now, they have their heroes.
Jayden's device in his pocket suddenly began beeping. He quickly pulled it out and saw all eyes on him.
He awkwardly walked down the stairs as he pulled out a pen to work on this PDA like device. He stops in front of the teens.
"This is an alarm. Monsters are attacking the city." Jayden said.
Kaito turns to his grandson in shock.
"You made that?" Kaito asks.
Jayden nods.
"Yeah, no big deal." He turns to look at the teens, "Rangers, you need to go to the park."
Zane nods.
"Park again, huh." Zane said.
He turns to the others.
"Let's go," Zane said.
The five begin to leave, but then are stopped by the mentors.
"Before you go, you need to know how to use your morphers." Daichi says.
"Just shout "Elements Among Us! Element Fusion!", and you'll morph into your suits." Jun said.
The teens all nod.
"Alright, come on guys." Zane said.
The four all nod at Zane.
"Right," The four say.
-ELEMENTFUSION-
Attacking the park was the Furi, the flying monkey beasts, with a new monster. This beast looked like an eagle winged cobra, just as tall as an average human. The cobra eagle held a staff in its hands, this staff was launching laser beams out causing explosions all around.
"Hold it right there!" A firm voice sounded.
The cobra beast smirks, "Oh, and you might be?"
Zane steps in front of the four other teens.
"We're the Element Rangers!" Zane yells.
The beast laughs.
"So the warriors of legends are a bunch of teenagers! This will be too easy." He laughs.
Zane glanced at the four standing next to him. The four all exchanged nods at Zane. Suddenly the five all pulled out their morphers and then flipped it open.
"Elements Among Us!" They all shout.
They pull the morphers back.
"Element Fusion!" They all shouted holding the morphers in front of them.
Standing in front of the beast were five rangers; Red, Blue, Yellow, White, and Green. They all wore skin tight like spandex suits. Their helmets all had a different visor that related to their element. Both Tia and Liz had skirts on their suits whereas the boys didn't have skirts.
The beast clapped his hands and then pointed at Zane.
"Well, my name is General Dyme, second in command for Lord Vaatu's army." General Dyme said.
Alex steps forward.
"Well, we're here to stop you and Vaatu." Alex said.
General Dyme grins.
"We shall see." General Dyme said.
General Dyme ordered the Furi to go attack the rangers.
Despite never having any sort of training and just becoming rangers moments ago, the teens seemingly have developed the skills to fight.
Zane punched one in the face and then did a flip in the air to kick one on the chest. Liz grabbed the arms of one and flipped it onto the ground.
Tia jumped over Alex and kicked one behind him, then Alex grabbed her hands and spun her around kicking down the Furi surrounding them. Tim rolled on the ground and pounced back up. He kicked one causing a large domino effect.
When they seemingly took down plenty of Furi, the rangers noted that the Furi were beginning to flee, which angered General Dyme.
General Dyme blasts them with his staff, and the rangers weren't fast enough to move out of the way. They were hit and were thrown onto the ground.
Each ranger fell and de-morphed back into their civilian attire.
General Dyme chuckled as he watched them struggle.
"Looks like you might be somewhat of a threat, but you're not complete." General Dyme noted.
Tia looks at Zane.
"What do you think he means by that?" Tia asks.
Zane shrugs.
General Dyme pulls his staff back.
"I am going to take my leave now and notify my master of your presence. This will be my only act of kindness, so take heed. You should surrender, it'll be less painful." General Dyme said.
And then General Dyme vanished.
Zane stands and turns to see Liz. He offers his hand to her and helps her stand. Tim gets up wincing a little. Alex helps Tia up.
Suddenly there is beeping coming from the morphers.
Each teen looked at each other, unsure of what the beeping was. So, Zane just flipped it open and answered it like a normal flip phone.
"Hello?" Zane answered.
"Zane, it's Jayden. Regroup at the temple, we have some work to get done." Jayden said on the other end.
