The Legends and the Starfall Group looked around in caution as a dangerous aura continued to approach from four different directions.

"So they approach." Natyal said softly with her eyes closed.

"Yeah…what I don't get is why they're coming for us?" Twilight asked.

"Maybe cause archangel face can't control his king." Bakugo said.

"I didn't know Kingambit was gonna do that." Mark said. "I'm hardly at fault here."

"Yeah, we know what Kingambit is like." David said. "Psh… And people moan about my ego."

"In any case, how exactly are we supposed to deal with them?" Tenko asked.

"They're a group of Four Legendaries, right? So there must be something that is shared amongst them. Usually a common typing." David said.

"Now is not the time to try and…" Starlight said as the earth shook. They looked to a large fissure pointed right at them as a deer-like creature approached.

The group then started to shiver as snow fell from another direction as approaching was a cat-like creature with two swords for fangs.

Then, vegetation started to wither and dry as a snail-like creature approached them.

Finally, flames erupted from the fourth direction as swimming at them was a goldfish-like creature with bead-like eyes.

Natyal slightly widened her eyes in surprise as she looked at them. "So these are the Pokémon that were sealed away..." she said with a sad expression.

"The Treasures of Ruin. Given life by negative human emotions as well as the old king's greed. Sealed away centuries ago by ancient Pokemon Wielders. Now they're here and looking to us for some reason." Twilight said.

Natyal slowly approached before stopping a certain distance. "The pain you all share from being sealed away for so long, even I know you do not deserve it. And here you all are, finally free, appearing before us."

"Yeah…but I don't think they're here to have a tea party." Hope said as all four of them looked angry.

It was then that Kingambit stepped up. "(Hear me, Ruinous Treasures! Times have changed in Paldea! The world beyond your temples - beyond this region - beyond the boundary of this world will accept you amongst them! Will you join us as we explore the very stars?)"

"(Ah…so it all becomes clear…)" Ting-Lu said before it rammed into Kingambit. "(This is the vainglorious fool who disturbed our slumber!)"

Kingambit was pushed back before coming to a stop and he looked up at the Ruinous Vessel. "(Very well. If you will not listen to our words…listen to our blades!)"

"Kingambit, with all due respect…Please shut up." Froslass said.

"(Besides…you all will burn along with Paldea!)" Chi-Yu said, hitting both Kingambit and Froslass with flames.

"(We were content with being imprisoned for the rest of our days. Free from the loathsome disease that is humans.)" Wo-Chien said.

"(But now…we are now walking the earth once more. And so…we will bring ruin as we did before.)" Chien-Pao said.

"You guys think freeing them is a good idea now?" Froslass asked.

"Froslass is right. They seem very unwilling to listen to what we have to say." David said.

"We have no choice now. We're going to have to try and capture them." Twilight said.

"I see…" Natyal said.

"I know you wanted to bring peace to them, but these four are very angry and they don't look like they're calming down anytime soon." Dan said.

"So, we're gonna have to give them something to take their aggressions out on. Let's go!" Mayumi said.

"If that is the case…" Natyal said as she ran toward Chien-Pao and got onto its back.

"(Loathsome human…)" Chien-Pao said as it tried to shake her off.

(Cue- Legendary Quartet- Pokemon Scarlet/Violet)

"Say what you will, but I made a promise to myself after you called out to me." Natyal said. "I promise that we all can coexist together."

"Looks like Natyal's taking one for the team. That leaves us with three of them to deal with." Titanica said.

"Yup." Hapi said.

"From what we saw…the deer's Ground, the snail's Grass and the goldfish is Fire." Jexi said.

"I've got something in mind for these guys. I caught this one over at Glasceado. Time for him to make his debut. Come on out!" David said as he sent out a Pokémon that looked like a sort of icy dragon with red hands and a very large dorsal fin.

"Bzzt! Baxcalibur, the Ice Dragon Pokémon and the evolved form of Arctibax! A Dragon and Ice Type! This Pokémon blasts cryogenic air out from its mouth. This air can instantly freeze even liquid-hot lava." Rotomphone said.

"Figures you'd go after it, David." Mark said with a smile.

"As if you were expecting otherwise." David said with a chuckle.

"Right. If David gets Ting-Lu, then I'll handle Wo-Chien." Mark said.

"Guess I'll deal with Chi-Yu." Titanica said.

"Ready? Break! Let's go guys!" Mark said, sending out his team against Wo-Chien.

"(I'm up for some escargot! But first, a little song!)" Skeledirge said, beginning to sing.

"(You think you can burn me away? Hardly. Wherever I roam, everything will wither and die. So shall your little song.)" Wo-Chien said.

"(That's where you're wrong! This song won't wither…it BURNS!)" Skeledirge said, the song becoming flames that hit the dead leaves of the Ruinous Tablets.

"Is destroying Paldea truly what you desire?" Natyal asked.

"(We've desired it for so long. Both the destruction of it and you evil humans.)" Chien-Pao said as ice formed above. "(Icicle Crash!)" they called out as Natyal avoided it.

"Perhaps some are. Even I have hated humans long ago for the destruction they caused, and what they did to creatures such as you." Natyal said. "I had hoped for a chance of friendship once you all were freed and I still do. The ones that have imprisoned you have been gone from this world for a long time. Please do no let the anger you hold towards them cloud your judgement." she said, holding her hand out to Chien-Pao.

"Rar!" Chien-Pao roared as Natyal pulled her hand back as it tried to bite down.

"Is there no chance at coexistence?" she said.

"Drednaw, Hydro Pump!" Titanica said as Drednaw fired a stream of water at Chi-Yu.

"(This human's a strong one… she sent out the perfect foil to my flames.)" Chi-Yu said.

Ting-Lu was taking some strong attacks from Baxcalibur.

"(They all are. I think it's about time we showed them our full power.)" Ting-Lu said.

"(Couldn't agree more.)" Chien-Pao said.

"(Ruination!)" all four cried out as darkness drained energy from Baxcalibur, Drednaw, Skeledirge and Natyal.

"(Guh… What was that? I lost half of my energy.)" Baxcalibur said.

"(Ruination…this is the move that made us all powerful against you weak fools.)" All four of them said.

"Still, only half? I take it that's enough of a handicap for you guys?" David asked.

"(I don't give a damn what you four feel or what you want.)" Breloom said as he raced towards Wo-Chien. "(Get out of our way!)" he yelled as he landed a Focus Punch in the form of an uppercut onto its face, sending it up into the air and back toward with a heavy thud.

"(You didn't answer my Trainer's question. Is half of my energy enough of a handicap for you?)" Baxcalibur asked Ting-Lu.

"(No…but this is…Rock Slide!)" Ting-Lu said as rocks fell on Baxcalibur causing more damage to it.

"Don't let him have his way with you, man! Ice Fang!" David said.

Baxcalibur looked up as it bit onto Ting-Lu's leg and froze it.

"(You rotten…)" Ting-Lu said, trying to break free.

"Now, Glaive Rush!" David said.

Baxcalibur flipped over and charged right at Ting-Lu, razor fin blade first. It hit the deer causing some damage to it.

"(That foolish dragon shall…)" Chi-Yu said as Drednaw bit into it. "(Gah!)"

"Too bad, fishface…you're done!" Titanica said, tossing a Pokéball at Chi-Yu as it was sucked inside. The ball shook a bit before clicking. "That's one!"

"Now…" David said as he tossed a ball at Ting-Lu, forcing the deer inside as the ball clicked. "Two down. Now, who to send you to… Eh, I'll figure it out later."

"(Chi-Yu! Ting-Lu!)" Wo-Chien said in surprise.

"(You're next!)" Salamence said, blasting it with flamethrower.

"(No more games! It is time for you all to die!)" Wo-Chien said.

"(You think you can kill us?)" A voice asked as Kingambit kneeled behind the tablets. "(You have grown fat and sluggish within your temples. Complacency…has defeated you! Kowtow Cleave!)" he declared as he sliced up, damaging and stunning Wo-Chien.

"(Now, young Trainer! Get him!)" Corviknight cawed to Mark. With a nod, the Angel of Wrath pulled out a Pokéball and threw it at the Ruinous Tablets, catching them.

"You're the only one left now. It's best you give in." Natyal said. "Please…there has been enough fighting today."

Chien-Pao looked to the side before growling. "(It appears time has made us weaker. One against an army…not very favorable odds. No choice…)" they said as they bowed to Natyal. "(I submit.)"

"Please there is no need for that." Natyal said, putting her hand on Chien-Pao's head.

"(Now, release my comrades. It is fitting that you decide our fates together.)" Chien-Pao said.

"Very well." David said as he, Mark and Titanica let the other Ruinous Treasures out.

"(Beaten by a half-blood… How humiliating…)" Ting-Lu said.

"(These humans…they're even more vicious than the ones from so long ago.)" Chi-Yu said.

"(Same with the Pokémon of this region.)" Wo-Chien said.

"(It seems times really have changed. Our time sealed away has diminished our power.)" Ting-Lu said.

"I can kind of see why you all were sealed away now." David said, shivering from their combined power.

"Why did these guys even come to us? To kill that tin can?" Bakugo asked.

"(We came because we sensed an energy source…and seeing it now…it was coming from her.)" Wo-Chien said referring to Natyal.

"Because she's a Beast Tamer, right? Yeah, I guess that would make sense." Mayumi said.

"I see." Natyal said. "But know that I never had ill intentions to free you all."

"(We know now…and we will come to a consensus now.)" Chien-Pao said as he and the other three ruinous Pokémon bowed to her.

"(We will follow you…from this point onward.)" they said.

"And know that I will treat you with the kindness and respect you deserve in return." Natyal said as she kneeled down to them. "I will protect you all as you protect me."

"So in the end…all four of them were brought here for a destiny…to become Natyal's Pokémon and friends." Titanica said.

"Yep. Seems that way. And Chien-Pao seems like the leader of the bunch, so in a way… Him being her Perfect Link fits." David said.

"(D-don't be ridiculous.)" Chien-Pao said, taken aback by the compliment. "(Me, the leader? What gave you that idea?)"

"Because you're a cat that uses ice." Mark said, as though it explained everything.

"(Um… I was kind of hoping for a more concrete explanation than that…)" Chien-Pao said sweat dropping. "(Wait, you say that like I remind you of someone you know.)"

"In a way, you…kind of do. But we're not gonna say who." Froslass said.

"Well…crisis averted. Hmm…Shun should be reaching the Elite Four by now for his test. Hope he passes." Himiko said.

"I faced him myself in Montenevera, so… I have a feeling he will." David said.

"Yeah…we also have things to take care of ourselves." Titanica said. "We'll be needing to meet with Arven soon at the lighthouse."

"And we got a date with Team Star's Boss at the academy." Mermista said.

"(Seems they all are finishing things. But…there's no way…I will ever return there…)" Miraidon said as it shook. "(The Great Crater…Area Zero…I will not go back there.)"

"Hm? What's wrong, Miraidon?" David asked.

Miraidon simply moaned as it returned to its Pokéball.

"Hmm… Not in the mood to talk, huh? I wonder what that was about…" David said out loud.

"It's like what Rutega said happened to Koraidon. When she infiltrated the first time, Koraidon refused to enter with her." Mermista said. "If something happened to Koraidon…its likely the same situation with Miraidon since they both left around the same time."

"Yeah… That does seem to be the case." David said. "But what exactly happened…we don't know anything about."

"Of course…but…what could possibly be down there?" Jexi said.

In the deepest parts of Area Zero, two shadows roamed within as they looked off in the distance letting out primal roars that struck fear in all Pokemon who heard.
