"Whoa…so this is what Area Zero looks like!" Nemona said.

"This is really something else." Ajna said.

"So uh…where exactly is the main lab?" Himiko asked.

"All the way…down there." Arven said, pointing to the darkest and deepest part of the crater. "However, there are four other sites on the way. We'll need to activate those as we go if we want any power to the teleporter and the labs systems."

"Teleporter? There's a teleporter?" Nami said.

"Yeah. Koraidon and Miraidon were only the way down. But the teleporter is the only way back out." Arven said.

"I can get us inside the other sites. I'm pretty good with hacking." Penny said.

"Well, we'll leave it to you then." Simon said.

The group then started the journey down the winding road.

"This place is amazing. So many Pokémon you wouldn't always see in the wild. I see some Farigiraf, a couple of Dudunsparce…whoa, even some Raichu and white flower Floette." Nemona said.

"Hmm…you know…I read in some of the old Paldean history books that the former king funded a lot of expeditions because of some treasure at the bottom. You guys think its true?" Twilight asked.

"I am uncertain." Natyal said.

"It's nothing like the Treasures of Ruin. The king didn't get those until after funding expeditions to Area Zero." Twilight said.

"I am still unconvinced. Because of how dangerous this place is, no one has been able to confirm it." David said

"True. The only one to do so was an explorer named Heath and only then he was only able to provide sketches." Twilight said.

"Look…there's the first lab." Arven said before they were stopped as they saw some flower-like Pokémon floating before them.

"A whole herd of Glimmora." Shun'ei said. "They must be common down here."

"Does that mean Geeta came down here to catch her Glimmora? No, that doesn't seem right." Frosta said.

"It's hard to say but it may be the only explanation, unless one of them somehow found its way up." Mari said.

"Actually, you're both wrong. Glimmet, the Pokémon Glimmora evolves from, are often seen around Paldea inside caves." Penny said.

"I see. We've been actively avoiding the caves while we were traveling, so that's news to us." Rinwell said.

"Either way, best not to have any of our Pokémon use Physical Abilities on these Glimmora." Mari said.

"Well, a Ground-type move could deal with them. They're the ones that will deal the most damage to these guys." Shun'ei said.

"If that is the case." Natyal said. "Ting-Lu, would you lend us your strength?"

Ting-Lu then struck the ground as spires erupted and knocked out a majority of the Glimmora and forcing the others to flee.

"Thank you, Ting-Lu." Natyal said.

"(Of course, my lady.)" Ting-Lu said.

"Alright, now it's my turn." Penny said, hacking the doors to the lab to get everybody inside.

"All right." Arven said as he went and reactivated the power. "Hmm…strange how the power was off. What is going on down here?"

"Hopefully we'll find out soon." Ace said. "But it is weird, almost like someone turned it off intentionally."

"No one else has been down here except my parents though." Arven said as they continued on.

"Right. You said you came down here with Mabosstiff, right?" Himiko asked.

"Yeah. He got hurt fighting…well, I'm not even sure you could even call it a Pokémon." Arven said. "I never came back after that."

"It must've been horrible. No wonder Mabosstiff was in such bad shape as he was." Adora said.

"So the Pokémon down here are that strong. That…that is really something." Sonic said.

"I wouldn't mind seeing some regular Pokémon." Penny said as on the way, a figure walked by them.

"Oh look! A Jigglypuff!" Ochako said as the group saw a small puffball with its curl grown over its head like a fullblown tail and sharp fangs.

"Something is different about this one though." Tsumugi said.

"It's not some regional variant. Must be like Great Tusk…one of the ancient Paradox Pokemon." Tenko said.

"Hmm, interesting." Simon said. "Why don't we call this one, Scream Tail?"

"Okay, I get tail but why…" Twilight said as the ancient Jigglypuff let out a loud cry. "Whoa…that is a scream. Guess it doesn't develop a good singing voice till later in history."

"Okay…gotta be some actual normal…" Penny said seeing another Pokémon. "Yes. A Delibird. Something…" she said as the Delibird looked more robotic as it looked at them and waved a wing.

"Oh look, he's saying hi." Mayumi said.

"It's…like a tiny robot." Tails said. "It must be one of the Paradox Pokémon from the future."

"It's got some kind of blue sphere thing on its back." Al said.

"I think it's supposed to be its bag. Like the one Delibird has." Rainbow said.

"Let's see…" Sachiko said as she pulled up a screen to identify it. "How astounding… I had no idea something like this even existed."

"What do you think, Sachiko? Got a good name for this one?" David asked.

"Ooh, I've got one. Since Delibird is a delivery Pokémon…Iron Bundle." Frosta said.

"Yeah. That's a good name for it." Sachiko said as her screen retracted.

"Definitely." Mari said. "This is just incredible." she said as Mercury popped his head out of her hair. Mercury looked at Iron Bundle with a hungry eye before Mari stopped him and gave him a bolt. "Don't even think of eating them…you'll never finish."

They soon reached the second site as they started to gather data using the Rotomphone.

"Brring! Okay. I've got some data. Looks like there aren't that many species of Paradox Pokémon." Rotomphone said.

"Can you give us the details?" Sachiko said.

"Of course. Of the Future Variants, there is the Delibird variant, Iron Bundle. The Donphan Variant, Iron Treads. The Hariyama Variant, Iron Hands. The Hydreigon Variant, Iron Jugulis. The Tyranitar Variant, Iron Thorns. The Volcarona Variant, Iron Moth. A variant that seems like a fusion of Gardevoir and Gallade, Iron Valiant. And the Cyclizar Variant, Miraidon." Rotomphone said.

"We've already seen Iron Valiant." Mark said. "Rutega used one in the fight against Salamence."

"It's true. I caught it in a waterfall cave." Rutega said.

"And Iron Treads was one of the Titan Pokémon we've encountered too." Ace said.

"As for the Ancient Variants. The Jigglypuff Variant, Scream Tail. The Misdreavus Variant, Flutter Mane. The Amoonguss Variant, Brute Bonnet. The Donphan Variant, Great Tusk. The Volcarona Variant, Slither Wing. The Magneton Variant, Sandy Shocks. The Salamence Variant, Roaring Moon. And the Cyclizar Variant, Koraidon." Rotomphone said.

"Did you say Roaring Moon?" Mark asked.

"Oh yeah, Breloom mentioned something about that, didn't he?" Mayumi asked.

"Yeah, he's got some kind of grudge against him." Hapi said.

"Apparently a Roaring Moon attacked his territory." Mermista mentioned. "I think he's been trying to get stronger in order to take it down."

"If I didn't know any better, I would've thought he was making it up." Shun'ei said. "But… We did see Great Tusk and Iron Treads near Cascaraffa, so it could be possible it really happened."

"How did those two end up there, anyway?" David asked.

"They likely escaped Area Zero at some point and got big from the Herba Mystica." Arven said. "The Herba Mystica did originate from here."

"Interesting." Rinkah said with folded arms as she and Rutega had been silent the whole trip until now.

"Still…them bringing all these Pokémon to the present…is a very bad idea." Tails said.

"What do you mean?" Sonic asked.

"Think about it. These are Pokémon that lived in the ancient past or distant future, if they all left this place and entered the wilds, it would be a wild upset for the ecosystem." Tails said.

"Tails is right. A phenomenon like this isn't normal." Sachiko said.

"Indeed, even the stability of time would be in an upset." Rime added.

"Professor Sada and Professor Turo… What the hell are they concocting down here?" David asked.

"I'd like to know that myself…" Rutega said in concern.

"Speaking of which, didn't something about them seem strange?" David asked. "That time they hacked our comms. Professor Turo, I can understand. But Professor Sada, with what she's studying? Something just doesn't add up."

"Maybe father did all the hacking. My parents would always visit and then they resulted to emails. But then…it stopped just a few short months ago. I haven't seen or heard from them till the request they made." Arven said.

"Plus, how would they even know that Rutega and I even have Koraidon and Miraidon? If they really had no contact until we finished gathering the Herba Mystica, they wouldn't have known that someone else had them. Well, unless their Pokéballs were bugged or something." David said.

"Hmm, it does seem odd." 2B said.

"Regardless we're down here anyways, we should go ahead and investigate for ourselves." Rinkah stated matter-of-factly.

"How close are we to the main lab?" Rutega asked Arven.

"Just two more stops." Arven said.

"So anything else?" Twilight asked.

"I did find out something about Koraidon and Miraidon. See…currently there are two of both species present." Rotomphone said.

"You mean, like siblings? Those two have got to be missing out on a big family reunion." Nemona said.

"I somehow doubt that." Shun'ei said.

"No…" Rutega said as she felt Koraidon's Pokéball shake a bit as she looked down. "...Now I get it. The other Koraidon and Miraidon… they both beat down on the ones David and I have. The result has left them in a mental blockage of their true powers… they're afraid of losing horribly again to their counterparts."

"I can feel it too. Miradon seemed really scared." David said.

"It's close…but not quite. They are afraid…afraid of what the other two will do to them." Natyal said. "A territorial dispute was likely what happened. It would explain why they left this place."

"...David. We have to fix this. I don't want Koraidon and Miraidon constantly living in fear." Rutega said, looking at David in concern.

"Yeah, same here. I've seen enough people living in fear in my lifetime already." David said. "We have to get them to overcome their trauma."

"If I may make a suggestion?" Rinkah asked, looking at David and Rutega.

"You have an idea, Rinkah?" Rutega asked.

"Battle Bonds and/or Terastallization." Rinkah stated. "I doubt the other two have that sort of option available. So if you two pulled that off… perhaps it would give Koraidon and Miraidon the strength needed to win."

"That might work. But I don't even have a Tera Orb of my own. And…can I really pull off a Battle Bond?" David asked.

"Here." Rinkah said, tossing a Dragon Tera Orb to David. "I'm more of a Fire type gal. Dragons are cool and all, but I figured someone could use that more than I could."

"David, don't worry about Battle Bonds. Leave that to me. And we won't have to worry about it unless it's necessary." Rutega reassured.

"Got it. Thanks, ladies." David said.

"Any time David. Now let's get the next two stops done so we can get to the bottom of this." Rinkah said with determination.

They stopped by the remaining sites before reaching the bottom where the large lab was surrounded by crystals.

"Whoa…it's like the lab is being…terastalized?" Hope said. "You guys don't think."

"Yeah…this has to be where the Terastallization Phenomenon originated." Penny said.

"Well done." a voice said through their comms.

"Professors?!" the group said.

"We are waiting inside. Though be warned, opening the doors will unleash a number of the Paradox Pokémon being kept inside the lab." Sada said.

"You mean they'd be let out into Paldea?" Mark asked. "...I'm not so sure about this…"

"There is a barrier that keeps Pokémon in Area Zero. However, that may not be enough in time. Releasing the Pokémon from the lab is the only way to reach the time machine." Turo said.

"Hmm….all right." Shun'ei said. "David, Rutega, let out Koraidon and Miraidon. We may need the backup."

"Right." David said as he let Miraidon out.

Rutega nodded as she let out Koraidon as well.

As Shun'ei opened the lab doors, the group was shaken when two figures jumped down behind them. They looked to see the Alpha versions of Koraidon and Miraidon standing there as they approached the ones that the group had traveled with.

"Whoa… Those are big." David said.

"Yeah… Now I get it." Rutega agreed.

Both Koraidon and Miraidon shied back as the Alpha's both roared in anger at them. But before any fighting could happen, the two Alpha's looked to the lab before running inside.

"Aw…they didn't get a full on reunion." Nemona said.

"Are you that slow?! We were about to get caught in a very nasty brawl!" Penny said.

"Don't tell her that. That only excites her, and that's exactly what she means by reunion." Rinkah scoffed.

"Uh…not this time." Nemona said.

"Those two looked vicious. No wonder they didn't come back to this place. And there's more of those Paradox Pokémon trapped in the lab?" Sonic said.

"You mean the lab we just…" Pit said as they looked to the lab doors as the ground shook.

"Uh oh…" some of them said as Paradox Pokémon from the past and future flooded out in a rage and ready for a fight.

"Here they come… I got your back, Koraidon." Rutega said, sending out Zana and Alpha Lucario to fight against Iron Valiant and Iron Treads.

"Oh Sugar Honey Ice Tea!" Mari said.

"Don't worry, Miraidon. Help's on the way!" David said as he let out Froslass and Kyogre.

"Don't forget us!" Leia said as she sent out Lurantis and Reshiram as they start to confront Slither Wing and Iron Moth.

"Let's rock baby!" Simon said, bringing out Sigil and Cheshire against Scream Tail and Sandy Shocks.

"Yeah…I got my own challenger." Balthus said looking to Iron Hands.

"Look at those two." Raine said as she spotted a pair of Iron Valiants. "Shall we, Genis?"

"Yeah, let's do it!" Genis said.

"O-Okay, I'll fight too!" Mari said as she looked at each of the Future Variants.

"Whoa…freaky mushrooms." Dan said as his Charizard faced some Brute Bonnets.

"And fierce dragons." Titanica said as Cinderace was facing off with some Iron Jugulis's and Roaring Moons.

"Let us sally forth in the name of House Nuvelle, my friends!" E. Constance said as her three links stood ready.

Mark, having let out Breloom during all of this, looked to the Roaring Moons being fought by Titanica's team. "Hey, are either of those…?"

"(No. But it's close.)" Breloom said, pointing towards the lab. "(In there! With thirteen other strong Pokémon.)"

"Thirteen?" Mark asked. "That's enough for two full teams…what are those two planning…?!"

"I don't think they're planning relatively anything evil!" Perfuma said as her Hisuian Decidueye kicked down a Sandy Shocks and executed Triple Arrows on a Great Tusk.

"We need to get in there." Shun'ei said as he took off into the lab.

"You're not going in without me!" Rinkah yelled as she chased her rival.

"ShuShu, RinRin!" Hapi called.

"This is bad. They went in the direction those Alpha dragons were going." David said.

"We have to follow them!" Rutega exclaimed.

"I'll go and protect them. I got business in there too." Mark said.

"Same here. No way our teammates are going down." Himiko said.

"Yeah. What about you guys? Can you guys handle things here?" David asked.

"Easily…just don't come out in body bags." Jexi said.

"We won't." Rutega promised.

"I'll go too." Natyal said before looking to the chaos. "No…I should help out here."

"Don't worry, Natyal. We've got this." David said.

"Leave it to us." Rutega said as she, David, Mark, and Himiko ran in to help Shun'ei and Rinkah.

Inside, both were confronted with the alpha dragons before they were recalled into Pokéballs.

"Welcome." two voices said as the six saw Sada and Turo sitting in lab chairs before rising up.

"We both suppose you're wondering what we were thinking, or if we had some sort of convoluted plan." Turo said. "Don't worry. We're not villains. And we don't mean to endanger the entire region."

"Wow…so you two are…" Himiko said, grabbing at Turo's arm as it popped off. "Ah!" she said before Turo put it back on.

"Wait…are you…AI?" Mark asked.

"Correct. We are AI modeled after the real Professors Sada and Turo, who were left to ensure the time machine ran." Sada said.

"So then… what happened to the real ones?" Himiko asked.

"They have…expired." AI Turo said.

"So they…died?" David asked.

"...That's… wow…" Rutega said as she heard this. "Arven's not going to take that well…"

"So…why did you ask us here?" Shun'ei asked.

"Simple…we need you all to shut down the time machine." AI Turo said.

"Okay." Rinkah would say. "...And we do that… how?"

"It's fairly simple. The books we asked you to bring are literal keys." AI Sada said. "However, the moment you do, the security system will activate and force us to ensure the machine continues running. Meaning a full on battle."

"Heh, Shun and I got that part covered!" Rinkah smirked.

"And there are six of us. We'll have to tag team these two." David said.

"Let's bring up the rear, David, the others seem eager to start off." Rutega suggested.

"As soon as we try to shut down the machine… get ready to battle." Himiko said.

"I'm ready." Rinkah smiled, having Ceruledge's Pokéball out.

The group headed towards the time machine, Scarlet and Violet books ready. After they inserted them, the machine started up as the AIs shut down. Alarms started blaring as the machine rose up. Suddenly, two master balls fell into their hands, which suddenly clicked as if they had caught something.

"At last… our dreams are within reach…" AI Sada said.

"And you will not get in the way!" AI Turo added as the sclera of their eyes turned dark and their pupils a solid pixel blue as they then approached the edge of the time machine.

(Cue- Vs AI Professors- Pokemon Scarlet/Violet)

"Hah. Looks like it's time!" Rinkah smirked as she landed from the fall, before stepping forward.

"Guess we are up first." Shun'ei said. "Let's go!"

"Ceruledge! Go!" Rinkah exclaimed, sending out her first of two to fight Sada.

AI Sada simply held her hand out as she let the ball drop. "Fight, Slither Wing." she said as out came the ancient Volcarona as it crawled on the ground with its wings held high behind it.

"You have some fun too, Ceruledge!" Shun'ei said as he sent out his own Ceruledge.

"Go, Iron Moth." AI Turo said, doing the same as AI Sada as the Future Version of Volcarona floated next to Slither Wing.

"Two Paradox versions of Volcarona. This is not going to be easy." Shun'ei said.

"Maybe not. The past one doesn't seem as fiery. And the future one isn't much of a real buggy." Himiko said.

"Guess we'll have to figure out their weakness. Start with Phantom Force, Ceruledge!" Rinkah ordered.

"Hmm… I wonder… Ceruledge, why don't you try Phantom Force too?" Shun'ei asked.

The twin Paradox Volcarona were each hit by the attack, but only damaged normally.

"Ghost is normally effective it seems." Rinkah deduced from this. "We'll have to try something else."

"Actually…" Shun'ei said seeing, Slither Wing more damaged than Iron Moth. "That means…Slither Wing is a Fighting type!"

"Fighting type!? Perfect!" Rinkah smiled.

"I don't really know if that means anything, but it seems Slither Wing will go down easier to those two than Iron Moth." David said. "If it's Bug/Fighting, then Fire type moves should be able to work on it."

"Bitter Blade on Slither Wing!" Rinkah ordered, hoping to take advantage of this fact.

Slither Wing was damaged more by the Fire-Type move as it fell easy.

"Nice. Now for the Iron Moth." Himiko said.

"I wonder…" Rinkah wondered as she looked at Iron Moth closely. "Shun, do you have any other type moves you can use?"

"Hmm…I think maybe a Psychic type move may cut it on that one." Shun'ei said.

"Looks like we were on the same page. Leave that to me. Psycho Cut!" Rinkah ordered as her Ceruledge sliced Iron Moth with psychic energy.

Iron Moth was dealt more damage by the Psychic Type Move before it fell as well.

"Yeah! We got 'em down by two!" Rinkah pumped her fist.

"Very impressive. However…" AI Sada started.

"The battle has only just begun." AI T "Come, Iron Bundle."

"Scream Tail!" AI Sada said.

Both dropped their Pokéballs as out came the ancient Jigglypuff and future Delibird.

"This one seems more manageable. Flame Charge!" Shun'ei said.

"I'll take the puffball! Shadow Ball!" Rinkah ordered.

To her shock, she found Scream Tail one shot by the super effective move.

"Huh. I guess it was weak to Ghost Types." Rinkah shrugged.

"I'll need to be more forceful with this one." AI Sada said. "Brute Bonnet." she said dropping another ball as out came the Ancient Amoonguss.

"You've got this, Rinkah. It's still a Grass-type!" Shun'ei said.

"Heh, yeah! It's just a Grass Type!" Rinkah smiled. "Bitter Blade, now!" Rinkah ordered as Brute Bonnet was slashed in bright flames, another Super Effective attack, another one shot. "Three down, three to go go go!" Rinkah pumped her fist. "I'm on a roll!"

Iron Bundle was still standing as the Fire type move only dealt normal damage to it.

"Don't fall behind Ceruledge, Shadow Claw!" Shun'ei said.

Iron Bundle was dealt normal damage by the Ghost type move.

"Sheesh, that thing is still up…" Rinkah said in concern for Shun'ei.

"Initiate Water Pulse." AI Turo said as Iron Bundle fired rings of water from its pack.

"Watch it, Shun!" Rinkah warned as she saw the attack.

"Shadow Ball, go!" Shun'ei said.

The Shadow Ball and Water Pulse clashed, but with the vigor of making sure Rinkah's Ceruledge knew not to be complacent in this contest, the Shadow Ball blasted the Water Pulse away and crashed into Iron Bundle, a critical hit, and Iron Bundle was down!

"(Good, I was beginning to get worried.)" Rinkah's Ceruledge said to his compatriot. "(Still as strong as our last clash. Keep it up.)"

"(Thanks, buddy.)" Shun'ei's Ceruledge said.

"Come, Flutter Mane." AI Sada said sending out the ancient Misdreavus.

"Your turn, Iron Hands." AI Turo said sending out the future Hariyama.

"Hmm… This one is most definitely a Fighting-type." Shun'ei said. "Hmm… If Rinkah's can do it, so can mine. Psycho Cut!"

Iron Hands was dealt super effective damage by the attack as it was on its last legs.

"Initiate Thunder Punch." AI Turo said as Iron Hands pulled its hand back as electricity surged around it before it struck Ceruledge.

"Don't think so. Flame Charge!" Shun'ei said.

Ceruledge jumped back as he rammed into Iron Hands and took it out.

"We're doing good. Three for each of them now." Himiko said.

"Your turn, Iron Jugulis." AI Turo said as he let loose the future Hydreigon.

"That… Looks like trouble." Shun'ei said.

"You did well taking out half of Turo's team, Shun'ei." David said. "Tag out, I've got this one."

"Alright. I'll be counting on you." Shun'ei said as David was tagged in, sending out Froslass.

"Okay, Meowscarada…take out the ghost!" Himiko said as Meowscarada slashed down Fluttermane with Shadow Claw.

"Strike him down with Ice Punch!" David said.

Iron Jugulis was dealt super effective damage as it fell as well.

"Sandy Shocks." AI Sada, dropping down the ancient Magneton as iron sand surged from the magnet limbs on it.

"Iron Thorn." AI Turo said, bringing out the Future Tyrannitar.

"I must say, we are quite impressed." AI Sada said.

"Indeed, to think the Pokémon brought from two different times were felled so easily." AI Turo added.

"These Pokémon may be from different times, but it doesn't mean they're invincible." Himiko said.

"Yeah. They may be strong, but they're still Pokémon. And they can be defeated just like any other!" David said.

"I'll let someone else have some fun. Himiko?" Rinkah asked as she offered a tag.

"Leave it to me!" Himiko said.

"Rutega, do you have anything for this guy?" David asked.

"I can use Zana against Iron Thorn. I have no answer for Sandy Shocks." Rutega said.

"No worries. I think I have one." Himiko said. "Meowscarada…Flower Trick!" she said as Meowscarada dropped a flower bomb on Sandy Shocks, dealing a major amount of damage as it fell to pieces.

"Alright, Rutega. I'm tagging you in." David said.

"Alright. Zana, go, and unleash Behemoth Blade!" Rutega ordered as Zana, in Crowned Blade form, slashed into Iron Thorn, the Rock Typing being its downfall as it fell to Behemoth Blade.

"Unleashing the strongest of these species. Rise, Roaring Moon." AI Sada said.

"Come, Iron Valiant!" AI Turo said.

Soon enough, emerging from the Pokéballs were the ancient Salamence and the future fusion of Gardevoir and Gallade.

"Mark, do you want to take this one?" Himiko asked.

"I don't have an answer for Iron Valiant. But I can one shot Roaring Moon with a Fairy type." Rutega said.

"No, Mark wants to take this one alone. This is his battle to fight." David said.

"He certainly does." Mark said, as Breloom looked angry before leaping down to the floor.

"(Roaring Moon!)" Breloom shouted as he powered up.

"Alright, let's start with a Bulk Up!" Mark said, Breloom raising his attack and defense. "Now, Mach Punch!"

The Mushroom Pokémon launched a punch at blinding speed, hitting the Paradox Pokémon in the jaw.

"Khh… I don't have a viable answer…" Rutega said as she looked at Iron Valiant.

"Rutega…" Mark said. "Pokémon battling…it's not about what type beats what, or what a move does. It's about giving it your all! You don't have a viable answer? Of course you do! Don't you remember what you told me when we decided to take on Team Star?! Just kick ass…like Saiyans are known for!"

"Right… you're right!" Rutega yelled. "Alright Zana, Moonblast!" Rutega ordered.

To Rutega's surprise, Moonblast turned super effective, heavily damaging Iron Valiant.

"Huh…? …Oh right! Fairy doesn't cancel itself, so Fighting is weak to it!" Rutega said.

"There you go, Rutega. That's the way to do it!" David said.

"Alright, go again! Dazzling Gleam!" Rutega ordered as for the second blow for knockout, Zana fired Dazzling Gleam at Iron Valiant.

Iron Valiant shorted a bit before completely collapsing.

"(Damned dragon!)" Breloom yelled as he continued punching Roaring Moon rapidly. "(Do you remember any of the Pokémon you've killed?!)"

"(...Why bother remembering my prey. It's eat or be eaten in the wild.)" Roaring Moon said.

"(I'll rip off your bloodstained wings!)" Breloom yelled before he turned to look at Mark knowingly.

"That move…alright." Mark said as he pulled out an orange crystal and threw it to his Perfect Link, flooding it with power.

"(Now I understand it! The reason for my rage!)" Breloom said as the energy round him began to converge. "(It's because of Pokémon and beings like you. Those who see others as nothing but prey to be used however you please!)"

"(What are you talking about? That is the way of the world!)" Roaring Moon roared as it prepared to end it with Dragon Claw.

"(There's no room in Paldea for Pokémon who only take! For Pokémon who feel only hunger and hatred!)" Breloom yelled as the energy began to turn into a large orange energy orb. Just as Roaring Moon reached the Grass/Fighting type, it began hitting the past Pokémon all over its body. "(That is why…I will destroy you!)"

Breloom then charged up a final large energy blast, which took the form of it taking a stance familiar to the group.

"Oh…is he gonna…" Himiko said.

"He is." David said.

"No way…!" Rutega said in awe.

In that famous Kamehameha stance, Breloom gave one last yell as he launched the attack, blanketing Roaring Moon in orange light. When it was over, Roaring Moon laid on the floor, its body singed.

"(Well fought…)" Zana said to Breloom in impression.

"So…I think we can all agree that Kamehameha is a Fighting type special move, right?" Mark said with a grin.

"From my perspective… yeah." Rutega smiled.

"Well, it's basically a Special version of Aura Sphere, so…" David started. "Yeah, pretty much."

"Now…the machine should shut down since you all have…" AI Sada said as the room started to glare red.

"Alert! Alert! Security System failed! Initiating Paradise Protection Protocol!" an alarm sounded out.

Suddenly, Zana was retracted into her Pokéball, as Rutega's eyes widened. "Huh!?" She yelled.

"Oh, that's not good. It's overriding the AIs too." David said.

"What the heck is going on?" Jexi asked as the others entered as the trainers saw their Pokéballs locking up.

"It's a security measure. Any Pokéball without my mom or dad's ID number can't be used now." Arven said.

"Arven… Since you got Koraidon and Miraidon from them… Do they count as their Pokémon?" David asked.

"Of course." Arven said.

David nods. "Rutega… It's time. It's now or never!"

"Right." Rutega nodded. "Come on buddy, now or never!" Rutega yelled.

In a bright burst of light, Koraidon and Miraidon were sent out.

"What are we worried about? They don't have any Pokémon left." Hope said.

"No…not quite." Himiko said.

"Come." the two AI's said, dropping two Pokéballs as out came the Alpha Koraidon and Miraidon.

Koraidon almost shied away… but looked at Rutega before he gained a firm gaze and remained in battle form, roaring defiantly at his opponent.

"(You dare challenge me!?)" The Alpha growled. "(Who do you think you are, whelp!?)"

"(You obsolete pieces of trash lost. Perhaps you want to join those fools who tried to block us from victory before.)" Alpha Miraidon said.

"Bring it on, then. You're not scared of him anymore, right Miraidon?" David asked.

Miraidon shied back.

"(Perhaps…we need to have a history lesson.)" Alpha Miraidon said as it approached David. "(These two have no Pokémon to defend with. They're defenseless.)"

"(Indeed. Let's finish them.)" Alpha Koraidon said as he approached as well.

Miraidon looked in shock before looking at Koraidon as both looked in anger as a power overcame them.

"You think you can take us out?" Rutega chuckled.

"Bring it on. We're not scared of you!" David said.

Cue: Undefeatable - Sonic Frontiers OST

Suddenly, Rutega gained her Super Saiyan God Aura, but it wasn't just her who gained it, Koraidon did as well as he knocked the Alpha back with a headbutt, and suddenly, in a burst of godly light and power, Rutega and Koraidon both powered up!

"Whoa…!" Nemona said. "Is that…!?"

"You better believe it." Rinkah laughed. "They're in trouble now. It's a Battle Bond."

Rutega-Koraidon

"Ready, Miraidon?" David asked as he took out the Tera Orb Rinkah lent him. "I hope this works!"

David gathered energy as he tossed the orb at Miraidon as it Terastalized into a Dragon Type.

"A dragon? But what good will…" Mari said, checking Miraidon's moves. "Oh my!" she said, showing the others.

"Let's see…Electro Drift, Power Gem, Endure…the heck? Tera Blast?!" Shun'ei said. "The same move Geeta used against me…"

"And Rutega… she doesn't even know Koraidon's moves yet she looks so confident at her setup…!" Nemona commented.

"That's because she knows all the possible moves Koraidon can do and will help him to use them. I would expect their bond to be strong enough that we're about to see that Alpha get a nasty 2 on 1 beatdown." Rinkah smiled widely. "They got one hell of a bond. GIVE HIM HELL, RUTEGA!"

"Alright buddy. It's you and me. Let's take out this bully." Rutega smiled.

"(You know it. Just guide me when you think I need it, partner!)" Koraidon said to Rutega as he rushed forward with a Dragon Claw to the Alpha.

Miraidon glared at its own Alpha before curling into a ball of electricity and rushing into it.

Both Alphas received the attack.

"(I'm impressed… you're quite stronger than last time! But it won't be enough! You'll lose just as badly as last time!)" Alpha Koraidon yelled as he tried to Dragon Pulse, only to be evaded swiftly. "(What!?)"

"(Eat this!)" Koraidon yelled, landing a Breaking Swipe on Alpha Koraidon.

"(Argh! This… this fighting style… you're using instincts!?)" Alpha Koraidon exclaimed. "(Hah! This might be a proper battle yet!)"

"Now, Power Gem!" David said. Miraidon fired numerous crystals at Alpha Miraidon.

"(Gah! Wh-what's going on…?! You're not supposed to be this strong!)" Alpha Miraidon said.

"(I've upgraded.)" Miraidon said.

"Oh, you've done more than upgrade, Miraidon." David said.

"Ready for curtain call, David?" Rutega asked with a knowing smile as she looked over.

"Just say the word. You all better check your clocks, because it's go time!" David said.

"Alright!" Rutega smiled. "Let's combine our might, FOR VICTORY!"

One time Super Sync Move!

Z Rush Collision Course!

Rutega suddenly dashed forward with Koraidon, the two blitzing the Alpha from all angles as he was dazed from impact.

"(The trainer… she actually fights!?)" Alpha Koraidon exclaimed, promptly getting another boot from Rutega to send him spinning.

Wild Dragon Cannon!

"Eat… THIS!" Rutega yelled as she fired a Wild Cannon alongside Koraidon's Dragon Pulse to put a large hurt on Alpha Koraidon.

"Now, for the ending!" Rutega said, showcasing their true Sync Move as Koraidon leapt up, gaining a large amount of flaming energy.

Dragon Fist Collision Course

"Here! Have some help! CHYA!" Rutega yelled as she launched a Dragon Fist a la Super Saiyan 3 Goku, which twirled and twisted around Koraidon to make the attack Dragon type, as Koraidon rushed to the ground, nailing the Alpha before sending him up with a Dragon Pulse, as Rutega's ki dragon took it further up, before it exploded in bright light, making the Alpha Koraidon fall, defeated.

LEGENDARY FINISH!

David got on Miraidon as he revved up. "Full throttle, Miraidon! Tera Blast!"

Miraidon gathered energy as it launched a full powered blast against its Alpha as it soon collapsed alongside the Alpha Koraidon.

"(We're done being afraid of you two.)" Miraidon said.

"(From now on, we're the ones who you should be afraid of.)" Koraidon scoffed.

"(Why have you placed your life to this one? Look at him.)" Alpha Miraidon said. "(He's a showman, a punk! A monkey with three knives. He's not worth our power!)"

"(And the girl, she's ruthless and brutal, more savage than that punk… Why do you choose them to be over you…? More importantly… how did your servitude lead to this humiliation…?)" Alpha Koraidon asked.

"(It's not servitude.)" Koraidon said. "(It's friendship. Something you two wouldn't understand. All I can tell you is… She doesn't order me. She guides me. And in return, I lend my strength to her. She took care of me and Miraidon both with the 'punk' as you two call him. It's a bond I cherish, and will strengthen, as long as I can with her.)" Koraidon added.

"(As for the boy, I will always have a debt to pay with him. He may be less…let's say advanced than what the future is like. But I would not trade him for anything.)" Miraidon said.

Both Alpha's looked in shock before they got up and started heading off.

"(Where are you going?)" Miraidon asked.

"(That strange thing will stop working after today, won't it? Someone needs to look after these displaced Pokémon in your steads.)" Alpha Koraidon said.

"(In our steads…?)" Koraidon asked. "(But you two-)"

"(Were Alphas. We were Alphas.)" Alpha Koraidon started.

"(But we lost to you. You two are the Alpha's now.)" Alpha Miraidon said.

"(...It was an honor to fight you both again. This time, on even terms.)" Koraidon said, which made Alpha Koraidon stop.

"(...For once, I agree with you.)" Alpha Koraidon said with a smile as he turned back, only a moment, as he soon turned forward to exit the time machine.

"(May our paths cross again in the future. Good luck with those cavemen you have with you.)" Alpha Miraidon said as he left alongside Alpha Koraidon.

The group watched the Alphas leave with the other Paradox Pokémon as the time machine spurred to life.

"Well…seems now…it really is the end." AI Turo said.

"What are you doing?" Jexi asked.

"As long as we remain, this machine will always be a threat to Paldea…so we're establishing our own freedom." AI Sada said. "An adventure to the distant past…"

"And to the far off future." AI Turo said.

"Wait a second! Isn't there something else we could do? A safety precaution I could smash? Anything?" Rinkah asked.

"Rinkah's right, there has to be something we can do… right?" Rutega asked.

"I'm afraid it might already be too late." AI Sada said.

"The Paradise Protection Protocol will always activate so long as we remain." AI Turo said.

"So…you two are machines. Which means…mom and dad are…" Arven said.

"Arven…though we aren't your true parents…you should know this." AI Sada said.

"Your parents treasured you with all their hearts!" they both said.

"They're right… We gotta go. This place is gonna blow any second." David said.

The two AI's floated up to the Time Machine before both vanished without a trace as the machine soon shut down.

"So, it's finally over then." Shun'ei said.

"Yeah." Himiko said.

It wasn't long after that they left Area Zero and were walking down a long dirt road.

"Arven, I… I'm sorry. We didn't want you to find out like this." David said.

"It's fine. I had a feeling they might have been…" Arven said.

"Hey…let's take the long road home. Make the adventure last a bit longer." Nemona said.

"You know, what the heck? We still have some time before the tournament. There is no need to rush." Shun'ei said.

"Yeah, we got all the time in the world." Simon smiled.

"Yes, this is one journey…I do not think any of us will ever forget." Natyal added, stroking Chien-Po's chin.

"Yeah…we've made tons of memories." Himiko said.

"And tons of new friends too!" Mark added.

"Let's keep the adventure going for a bit longer then. Paldea is our oyster. And there's lots of Pokémon here too." Titanica said.

"While it's true our journey in Paldea may come to an end." D. Constance said. "Perhaps there may come a time when new lands are revealed here, waiting for us to explore them."

"Yeah…let's always remember this." Shun'ei said as they marched off, ready for their next adventure.

To be continued…
