"Okay, what adventure awaits us today, servant?"

"I do not know, that information is unknown, Mr. Darwin."

"Mr. Gumball, we must find out! It will not be long before it all breaks into pieces and turns into what we call a misfortune."

"Nothing about this is a misfortune," Penny said, giggling as she entered the bedroom, "Also, what's with the perfect grammar? Are you reading an essay paper?"

"No, my love," Gumball responded, "We, the kings, will make sure nothing shall happen in our land of freedom."

Penny giggled again, kissing Gumball's cheek afterwards, "Come on, guys, let's head outside for the bus."

"We must find out our new mission!" said Gumball, "What should we do today, fellow Darwin?"

"Find others who like similar things like us!" Darwin answered, with a shiver of coldness, "Maybe someone who likes cold things!"

"That is the perfect adventure for us, Darwin," Gumball chuckled, smiling afterwards, "And how do we find out who likes cold things?"

Darwin smirked before shouting, "WHO HERE LIKES COLD THINGS?"

"Dude, that's not what⸻nevermind."

"Hm, I guess nobody answered. We can find out during lunch because they would normally be getting cold foods!" Darwin recommended.

"Fine," Gumball replied.

During lunch…

"Okay, dude, look for people with cold drinks," Gumball demanded. Darwin and him separated to different sections of the cafeteria. Darwin then found a block of ice, drinking ice-cold water.

"Found one!" Darwin said, pointing to the ice cubes.

Gumball smiled and ran over to him, "Hello, fellow student."

"Uh, hello."

"I see you like cold things?"

"Yeah."

"What's your name?"

"Alex."

"Interesting name," Gumball said, him and Darwin sitting down at Alex's table, "Say, what do you like about cold drinks?"

"I love anything cold," Alex replied, "Rivers, lakes, icicles, ice."

"Very interesting, Alex," Gumball said, using his detective voice.

"So, why did you want to know?" Alex questioned.

"Everyday is a new mission, and today's mission was to find people who love the cold. You'd absolutely love to hang out with my friend, Ember. She's immune to the cold, i-it's like her superpower!"

"Ember, you say?" Alex replied, "Why, of course, I'd love to meet this friend of yours."

"Great response. Ember!" Gumball called out, freezing Ember in place, still staring at a paw print student. She quickly turned her head after two seconds to reply.

"Yes?" she replied, walking over to them with lovesick eyes.

"This dude named Alex wanted to meet you. He loves the coldness," Darwin explained.

"Interesting," Ember said, "Hey, Alex!"

"Ember?"

"Blake?"

"You know each other?"

"Isn't it Alex?"

"He's from my dimension."

"What??" Gumball and Darwin responded in shock.

"Wow, you like Gumball, too?" Ember asked.

Alex nodded, "Yeah, I found a way to enter! You?"

"I love Gumball! It's a hilarious show!" Ember exclaimed.

"Wait," Darwin interrupted, "Who was the girl you were looking at, Ember?"

"Oh, u-uh, w-what do you mean?"

"Dude, if you have a crush, just say it, I'll walk up to that girl and tell her for you," Gumball said.

"I-I don't have a crush!" Ember replied, a little louder tone than before.

"You're a bad liar. Look, I'll just make my way over there," Gumball said, already heading toward the pink and blue paw print.

"Gumball!" Ember scolded, running to him and knocking them both over.

"Uh, excuse youuuuu..." the paw print said.

"Uh, heh," Ember said, standing up nervously, "I am so sorry, I-I didn't mean to, it's just that Gumball here knocked me over."

"Oh, of course it's Gumball, sounds about right," the paw print replied, putting her hand out for a shake, "Alana."

Ember shook her hand, "Ember."

"So, why was Gumball running over?" Alana asked.

Gumball, who managed to stand up, said, "Because she has a⸻"

"Business!" Ember interrupted, "I have my own business, it's the MK factory down the street, heh."

Alana chuckled, "That's yours? Aren't you 14?"

"Yeah, but age doesn't matter⸻"

"When it comes to love," Gumball butted in with a smirk.

Ember slapped Gumball in the mouth, "What Gumball means is age doesn't matter when it comes to love, as in love for the society, because in the factory I make potions that help the community."

"Aw, that's nice," Alana giggled, "Wanna be friends?"

"She wants to be more than⸻"

"Yes, I'd love to," Ember said, putting her hand over Gumball's mouth, "Don't mind him, heh, he likes to create chaos."

"No worries," Alana smiled as she walked to a table. She's funny, she thought to herself, Maybe Gumball was trying to say she had a crush on me, oh how my dreams will come true!

Ember followed her crush to the table and sat in front of her in the opposing seat, "So what are your hobbies?"

"I do love drawing," Alana replied.

"Darwin's an artist," Ember said.

"Oo, who's Darwin?"

"Gumball's brother," Ember replied.

"Hehe," Alana replied, "Um, so whose class do you have next?"

"I have Mr. Small next, you?"

"Same."

"So, how did it go?" Gumball asked with a smirk.

"Uh, good, we are friends no, Gumball stop being in everyone's business," Ember said, jokingly, "Penny wants you."

Gumball suddenly disappeared, appearing beside Penny, "Hi, Penny!"

"Hey, Gumball," Penny giggled.

"Finally, some peace," Ember sighed in relief, leaving the cafeteria.

"Wait, Ember," Alex said, running up to her.

"So, what made you want to go to this dimension?"

"Eh, just wanted to meet some Gumball characters in real time."

"Same," Ember replied, "Also, you should hang out with Gumball and Darwin, I want to hang out with Alana without being...messed up by them. Especially Gumball."

"Alright, sure."

"Appreciated," Ember said with a smile as she left.

"So, uh, Alana," Ember cleared her throat, "Do you wanna hang out today?"

"Yes, I-I'd love to," Alana answered.

"Okay, great," Ember smiled. Alana smiled back and scratched her head, "What's with the head scratch? Are you nervous or something?"

"No no, I-I'm not nervous, heh."

"So, who do you have a crush on?" Ember asked.

"Oh, u-uh, n-nobody, you?"

"You."

Alana blushed, "Really?"

Ember nodded, "From the day I saw you, you caught my eye, and I knew that one day, you'd call me yours and I'd call you mine."

Alana giggled, "That rhymes."

"So…girlfriends?"

Alana nodded and smiled, "Girlfriends."

"So, Alex, what are your favorite things to do?"

"Save the world, drink cold drinks. Chill in the cold."

"So, mostly just coldness, okay, so, what is your favorite cold object?"

"Icicles."

"Nice, nice, Icicles are cool."

"Gumball, I don't think Alex has anything in common with us."

"Oh, please, of course he does!"

"I like adventures."

"See? Perfectly in common with⸻"

"⸻In the deep forests as the snow falls and freezes the land."

"Okay, maybe he doesn't have anything in common with us, but at least he likes adventures! Even if it includes possible death by freezing to death, it's still an adventure!"

Darwin shook his slowly, "Dude, don't say I didn't warn you.

"SO," Alex explained to Ember, "We have nothing in common with each other except for liking adventures, but both of us have different meanings of a good adventure."

"So, maybe you don't have anything in common with them…maybe Ken does. Ken!"

"What do you want?" Ken asked.

"Go hang with Gumball."

"Oh, so now I'm recognised," Ken said, sarcastically, "Only when you need me for one of your stupid shenanigans to save the world."

"Ken," Ember said, "What is with you and the arguments?"

"I'm not arguing, Ember," Ken said, crossing his arms, "Besides, what kind of things you think me and Gumball will have in common?"

"You both like adventures. Not cold adventures," Ember said, glaring at Alex.

"What?"

"Nothing," Ember said, looking back at Ken.

"Yes, I like adventures, but I don't like rainbows, I don't cause chaos, I'm scared to tell a girl I like her, my mom does not meddle with my life⸻which makes me 50% Gumball."

"Still worth it. Now go!"

"Okay, okay, fine," Ken groaned and exited the house.

"How do you manipulate so well?" Alex asked with a smirk.

"It just comes to me."

"So, Ember," Gumball said, getting off of the bus toward the steps of the school, "How did it go last night with Alana?"

"Uh, good," Ember claimed, "Very good indeed."

Alana appeared and came beside Ember, "Hi again."

"Hi, angel," Ember greeted, "How was your night?"

"It was good. What's your last name?" Alana asked, curious if she knew her.

"Jade."

"Ember Jade?"

Ember nodded.

"Oh, Ember," Alana said, followed by a hug.

"Awe," Penny, Carrie, Gumball, and Darwin said.

"Do you know me?"

"It's me," Alana confessed, "Furn."

"Angel!" Ember exclaimed, hugging back, "Oh, I missed you so much."

"So, I see you are together," Gumball noted.

Ember nodded, "We used to be together, long before this dimension I speak thou of."

"Okay, now you're just speaking like an English teacher."

"You two look so cute together," Penny said.

"Aw, thanks, Penny, same to you with Gumball," Ember said, smiling as Penny blushed, "Anyways, let's head to class."

During class, Miss. Simian let everyone chill, since it was almost summer break. One more week, she thought, and then summer will be here, and I can finally marry Nigel.

"What should we do for the summer?" Gumball asked the group, which now included Alana, Ken, and Alex.

"Amusement park!"

"The beach!"

"Hawaii!"

"A zoo full of kittens and puppies!"

"Darwin, we can do that even when it's not summer."

"So? During the summer we have all the time in the world, and not just after school!"

"Let's go to the beach," Ember said, "I want to jump into thy cold wat'r⸻"

"What is with you and this weird language?"

"It's called medieval speech. Remember when the internet went out and you had to get it back, but literally everyone acted strange with this weird language? Yeah that's the language."

"Oh, the medieval language."

"Yes."

"Let's go to the amusement park and try the stomach destroyer! Penny and Gumball sits in one row, Carrie and Darwin, and then Ember and Alana!" Alex recommended.

"What about you?" Gumball asked.

"Oh, I'm not really into roller coasters."

"Then let's pick something else!"

"No, we're going to an amusement park this summer."

Gumball rolled his eyes, "Fine."

"Hey, kids," Nicole said, struggling to keep the twins entertained.

"Hey mom!" Anais, Darwin, and Gumball greeted.

"Where's Penny?"

"She said she had to take care of something first," Gumball answered, "She should be on shortly."

"Alright, then," Nicole replied.

"Need a little help, mom?" Anais asked, noticing her mother struggling to keep the twins calm.

"Yes, thank you," Nicole said, sighing in relief.

Gumball walked over to Greyson and Naima and picked Greyson up as Anais picked Naima up. "Hey, Greyson!" he exclaimed.

"Hey broter!"

"Hey, Naima!"

"Hey Anyis!"

Suddenly, the front door opened to reveal Ken standing in front of it, "Gumball, let's hang out."

"That's sudden," Gumball noted, "Also, I'm busy with Greyson and Naima right now."

"Too bad, I'm not going to let you ignore me this time," and with that, Ken grabbed Gumball's free hand, Darwin running to catch Greyson, and before Darwin could scold him, they had already left the house.

"What the what was that for, Ken??" Gumball yelled, "I could've dropped Greyson without him being caught. He could've gotten really hurt!"

"I want to hang out," Ken said, "Just imagine how much we have in common!"

"I do know that we do not have our feelings in common," Gumball said, crossing his arms and hissing at his cousin.

"Oh, please, at least Darwin caught him just in time!"

"And if he didn't? What then? WHAT THEN?!"

"I guess he just would be hurt."

"WHERE IS THE GOOD IN THAT, KEN?!"

"Jeez, stop yelling."

"NO!" Gumball yelled, running back toward his house, slamming the door behind him.

"Gummy, why did you slam the door?" Penny asked, who had been over my the stairs, waiting his arrival.

"Ken is crazy."

"What makes you say that?"

"He grabbed me by the arm, and I almost dropped Greyson! Thank you very much, Darwin, for catching him."

Darwin nodded in response.

The next day, Gumball hesitated to talk to Ken. He was still angry at him for what happened the day before, and it made him angrier the more he thought about and the more Ken would appear in front or behind him to talk. When Nicole heard about the incident, she was furious, thanking Darwin's save. He never wanted Ken back in the house for WEEKS.

During lunch, Ken sat by himself whilst Gumball sat with Darwin, Anais, Ember, Alana, Alex, Carrie, and Penny. He ranted to them about what happened, but all they heard was "AJJFASLJFKLAJSD". They didn't want to have Gumball repeat all of this, as it was only going to make him angrier. He was already ten times angrier than that morning.

"Look, Gumball, I'm sure he didn't mean it," Ember tried confronting his friend, "He's just mad that I haven't included him in anything, and once he finally got the time to talk to us, he got aggressive."

"Oh, excuses, excuses!" Gumball shouted, "Stop sticking up for your friend!"

"He likes video games."

And with that information, Gumball ran to Ken and apologized. Ken did too, explaining that he only did it because he was tired of being left out, as what Ember said, and that he had finally had the chance to talk with his idol, he was just too excited.

"I'm sorry, too," Gumball apologized, "I should've not blamed you for everything. But when Greyson fell out of my hand, I was terrified. He's my little brother, and with me being his oldest brother, I try to protect him."

"That's perfectly understandable," Ken replied, "Tell you what. This afternoon after school, we can hang out and find out what we have in common."

"Let's do it," Gumball said with a smile.

"This gives me an idea," Ember said, who crept up behind them.

Penny started clapping, which made Carrie join, then Darwin and Gumball, then Alana, and Ember, and Ken, and Alex, until all of them were clapping.

"That was beautiful," Gumball said, stopping the clap his hands had made. Everyone else stopped their claps as well, as Ember stood up in front of the group.

"We will start our new show. The Amazing REWorld of Gumball. What do you all think of thy idea, tho you all must take part in the signifiant idea?"

"Thy choice is perfect, thine all must engage within thy art of thee. Shall you join me, my f'rends, it shall be thy good day."

"Okay, okay, the language is confusing," Gumball confessed, "English please."

"Okay," Ember said, giggling.

"What should our first episode be about?"

"The debut of the disease," Ember said, "A series preimere always starts with a pilot or the backstory. You, Gumball, are still the main character. Darwin, you, too. Let's make this show perfect for the human dimension as well. Everyone must know the greatness you bring, Gumball."

"Aw, thanks, Ember," Gumball smiled.

"Cut!"

"So, what do you like to do?" Gumball asked Ken.

"Animation, drawing, not arguing, creating mischief⸻"

"Okay, we're gonna be besties just by the mischief in common."

Both of them giggled and continued talking about video games and their previous mischief they done.

"So, how you go to the amusement park with us this summer?"

"I'd love to!"

"Awesome!"

"So, do you like rainbows?"

"Uh, sure."

"Do you hate when your mom meddles?"

"Yes, I guess."

"And final question, are you scared to tell a girl you like her?

"Definetly."

"Thy much commonness we have with each o'er is amazing," Gumball said, giggling with a pinch in his throat.

"Thrine right, dear Gumball. Thy right."
