Chapter 3 - "Another Day in the Wasteland"
It's been three months since some members of the dxd team arrived in the fallout universe because of Saji's mess up while Sona and Ravel found someone they loved. During the 2 months he confessed to both of them, and they became his girlfriends, and Everyone was happy for the three of them except for a certain pawn of Sitri.
Right now, with the three:
Sona and Ravel were both smiling as they helped Sky cook breakfast.
"I'm actually surprised that you've managed to figure out how to cook some of the native creatures so that their meat is safe to consume. I guess that it took a great deal of trial and error on your part?" Ravel spoke as she helped Sky with a Mole Rat while Sona was making some soup.
"Well you know me my little Princess, it is trial and error for some things...including Food." Sky spoke as he kisses both Sona and Ravel then they both blushed.
With the Others:
Issei hummed a small tune as he prepared a small table for breakfast. Over the past 3 months, he had been helped out by everyone else through some relationship trauma that his first girlfriend Raynare had instilled with her betrayal and killing of him when he had been an ordinary human back in their world. He had confessed to Rias, Asia, Akeno, Irina, Xenovia, and Tsubaki after Kiba spurned her attempts to woo him one time too many and all six girls became his girlfriends.
Before long, he saw that he was done preparing and said, "Alright, the table is set up and ready."
Snappy heard this and ran to the others then accidentally tripping on a rock landing on Saji with swirls in his eyes after landing on him.
"Oh boy, Snappy never ceases to make me laugh, and being a softie" Riser said. Over the first few weeks he has changed quite well and has been dating his Queen which everyone was proud of, and Sky teased about his kids being him.
"This is what, ninth time that Snappy has done this to Saji?" Kiba asked.
"Eleventh time actually, Yuuto. It's only done that to the pervert Hyoudou once, and that was the morning after we first came to this strange new world." Koneko deadpanned.
Snappy shakes his head and licks Issei for being a kind and then Issei gives him a dead mole rat for his breakfast, and he happily eats it.
"Wow, Snappy must really like Issei-kun if it only landed on him once." Akeno spoke as she kept watch for any Gunners or Raiders.
"Yeah, but to be honest, Saji does kind of deserve the craziness that Snappy does to him. He's the only one that isn't happy about Sona being with Sky." Rias replied as she also kept watch.
They all nod in agreement before Sky, Sona and Ravel came out with breakfast and gave everyone their food while Sky sat down, and Sona sat on his right while Ravel sat on his left. "What does Sky have that I don't want to be with kaichu?" Saji complains.
Snappy glared at Saji as Ravel shot back, "You're just being greedy, Saji! Both Ruruko and Momo want you and yet you think that you have a chance with Sona as well!? What happened to make you think that you deserve to have her and not Sky!?"
Saji just glared at her before Snappy bit his ass as Saji screamed like a little bitch. Everyone laughed as Snappy let's go of Saji showing everyone he was wearing heart boxers.
Sona was the first to stop laughing. She cleared her throat and then said, "I guess that the cat is out of the bag now that Ravel asked the obvious question. Saji developed a strong infatuation of me because I helped him with some financial troubles he was having. You see, his parents died in a car accident and then a few years later, his grandfather died from illness. He learned of my true identity then and I recruited him as my servant while Rias and her peerage were training for the Rating Game against Riser."
"That's right, and how can I forget I'm dating two beautiful Devil's like you and Ravel?" Sky said, making Sona and Ravel blush.
"You won't stop flirting with us, will you?" Ravel asked, smirking.
"It's my job as a boyfriend and I'm not going to lie. I was scared at first when you told me about your world." Sky said, scratching the back of his head nervously.
"That is somewhat understandable, but if you keep it up, Sona and I just might get you all lethargic through non-stop sex during the nights." Ravel teased back.
"While we may not be able to use our powers now, it's only a matter of time until someone or something develops a means of stable travel between this world and the one, we're from. The magic circle that Saji used to send us here in the first place was an anomaly that probably can't be replicated easily, and he can't use it if none of us can use our powers." Rias spoke as she watched her peerage eat.
"I-I mean...what s-saji did...is that maybe a Rare c-circle?" Gasper asked nervously but held a pillow Sky found for him.
"None of us know of any Devil families that use a nuclear radiation symbol as their family crest, so that is unlikely, Gasper." Issei answered.
"What did this symbol look like?" Sky asked. "It was just your typical trefoil around a small circle." Kiba answered. "And I did have Mothwings as well Kiba," Akeno corrected him.
"Moth Wings? It looked like an ordinary trefoil to me. Was there something that I missed about it?" Kiba asked.
Akeno nods while Sky widens his eyes. "No...it can't be...he's not real…" Rias raised an eyebrow and asked, "What isn't real?"
"Mothman…"
"Are you perhaps referring to that urban legend about that American cryptid?" Tsubaki asked.
"Yea, but when I was young...I heard stories about him, and I was scared..." Sky looks down scared before Sona and Ravel hug him.
"Ddraig mentioned to me that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, so our best bet for returning home is to seek out any locations that have advanced technology." Issei stated.
"And unless the book about factions is mistaken, the city of Boston has a bunch of working laboratories. The people there however probably won't take kindly to us because of our ethnicities." Yubelluna spoke.
Sky recovered from his childhood trauma. "So Kiba, Issei, Saji, Raiser. Shall I tell the girls that one mission?" Sky smiles while the guys smirked minus Saji who looked pale for a sec.
"What one mission?" Koneko asked in confusion.
10 days ago, during a mission to get more food:
The boys came across a dead mole rat, they were staring at it for a good 10 minutes.
"What do we do with it?" Saji asks ending the silence and not knowing it was a mistake to ask.
"Oki Saji check for loot" Issei spoke up.
"Wait a minute, why am I the loot checker?" Saji asked while glaring at Issei.
Sky got up in his face in his power Armor and said, "Because we didn't have to get more food because you ate half of our food, because your small and insignificant, and because I'll pummel you if you don't"
"Why else?"
"NOW SAJI!"
Saji gulped as he checked the dead mole rat for anything. Once he did so and found nothing, he reported it and then Issei said, "I have a bad feeling about this..." as multiple people dressed in strange coats appeared from hiding.
"Are they part of the Railroad?" one of them asked another.
"I don't know. Let's kill them anyway even if they aren't part of them." the second person replied.
"Wait" as soon as Sky said that the mole rate sprang to life and bit sajis balls. "AHHHHH, FUCK! KILL IT, KILL IT!" Everyone started laughing while Saji screamed and yelled while punching it.
Eventually, Saji got lucky with his punches and managed to kill the mole rat. "Why did you guys think it was funny when it got up and bit me in the jewels!?"
Everyone continued to laugh. Then Kiba spoke up, "Because You deserved it."
(Wow, Saji is a butt monkey here)
"You guys..." Saji started only to sense something off and narrowly dodging a laser shot from a laser pistol.
"What the... who are those guys?" Issei asked after he stopped laughing.
"I don't know, but they certainly aren't friendly." Kiba answered.
"Death to the Japs." one of the strange people stated.
Sky then gets his Fat Man out then shoots at the people and it kills the group. "Let's get back home guys."
(Return to present)
"Ugh, that must have been why I forgot about it: those guys were really racist to refer to me, Saji, Raiser, and Kiba as that offensive term." Issei spoke.
"I hate racists, but hey at least it's funny seeing Saji getting his balls bitten." Sky chuckles at that.
"Those racist jerks must have been... coursler, no... coursers from the Institute." Kiba said after some thought.
"Oh boy I hate those guys, they tried to force me to join them because I'm an American and shouldn't hang out with people like you guys" Sky said remembering they tried to force him to join.
"And if Asia is right, the Brotherhood of Steel are even worse as they actively hoard advanced technology and oppose anyone who tries to share it with others." Issei spoke.
Snappy yawns and slumps next to Raiser who was massaging his Queen/Girlfriends shoulders.
"Thanks, Raiser." Yubelluna spoke.
"I wonder what will happen once a means of stable travel between our world and this one is established. It might not necessarily mean that we'll be able to use our powers here, but it would let us get back home." Raiser replied.
"And I wonder how your family's will react to certain things." Sky spoke.
Meanwhile in the DxD Universe:
"Have we figured out anything other than that Rias, Riser, Sona, and a few servants of theirs are in a new world?" a very worried Sirzechs asked.
"Not much, but I have managed to cobble together this device based on something from this game series, who recently came up with a dumb 'live service' title named Fallout 76." Ajuka answered.
"Once we have a way to reach this new world, I must get to my So-chan and see for myself if she's alright along with the Sewkiryuutei!" Serafall stated in a worried tone.
"Don't worry I believe with their abilities they will be alright along with our Red Dragon Emperor" Sirzechs stated before a white flashed appeared.
A beast appeared after the white flash and roared, but before it could do more, its head was swiftly obliterated by a blast of Destruction from Sirzechs.
"Okay, that thing was new. Ajuka, could you study this thing in your labs?" Sirzechs asked.
"Sure thing, Zechs. Judging by what it was, the new world must be more dangerous than we initially thought. It might be even nastier if Issei and those with him were not able to use their powers." Ajuka replied before teleporting himself and the Scorch Beast's corpse out of the room.
'Please be safe So-chan' Serafall thought.
