Sofia - Simple Double Date turns into a Musical Number
Summary: Cedric and his partner, Sira are going on a picnic for a date, but he is nervous so he enlist the help of Hugo and Sofia, a jealous Amber finds out and pretends to date Desmond in order to be there, but is it really pretend?
When Cedric met Sira, he couldn't believe she agreed to date him, a grumpy, middle aged, clumsy sorcerer, but she did despite everyone saying that she could do better then him, but after a quick tongue lashing by her, it sent any our suiters running with their figurative tails between their legs, it was quite amusing.
"I heard that tomorrow is suppose to be grand day to have a picnic, what do you say?" Sira asked.
Cedric knew that one glance into her striking sapphire eyes and he would cave, "Brilliant, my dear."
The smile she gave him was worth it as she goes to get thing ready, the minute Cedric knew she was gone, he started to panic.
"I better get ready, I want this to be perfect, but I can't do it by myself, oh I know I can ask if Sofia and if her little boyfriend, Henry, no, Hubert oh! whatever his name is, either way, I am going to ask if they can join us but without Sira finding out of course." he said to himself a sneaky smile playing on his lips.
But he was completely unaware that he had been overheard by Princess Amber, who secretly was jealous by the fact that Sofia got a boyfriend especially the most popular boy in Royal Prep, before her and wanted to force Cedric to make her potion to make her attractive to Hugo, but when she overheard the sorcerer's plan, her jealousy grew.
'A secret double date huh, not if I have anything to say about it, I am going make Hugo so jealous that he will leave Sofia for me.' She thought stalking away.
Meanwhile Sofia was waiting outside with both James and Hugo waiting for Amber and the rest of their friend to come so they get going to this new place called Song Bar, where teenagers could hang out, drink, (sodas and nonalcoholic drinks of course) dance and sing.
While her and Hugo had confessed that they like each other they were still awkward about it, but unbeknown to them, their friends had hatched a plan to get them to become an official public couple.
Amber comes out and breezes by everyone greetings and gets into carriage, but before Sofia could ask what was wrong, the rest of their friends show up and soon they were off.
When they got there, they all ordered sodas and listened to music and singing, before both Hugo and Sofia knew it, they were being pushed up to the stage, despite protest from both, they both stood awkwardly in front of the mics, until the music started to play.

By the end, they kissed, ignoring the cheers and applause from their peers, unaware that Amber had basically forced a nervous Desmond to go on a date with her tomorrow and kissed him at around the same time, before looking at him with an unreadable expression, before leaving the bar and a dazed Desmond behind.
Later that day both Sofia and Hugo were hanging out on the steps of Sofia's home, as he waited for his ride, that is when Cedric approached them about his plan.
While they were unsure, Sofia saw how desperate her friend was and decided that they would do it.
"Oh thank you Sofia, I am truly forever grateful." Cedric said walking with a spring in his step.
"I sure hope we are doing the right thing." Hugo said.
Taking a hold of his hand, she smiles saying, "I know we are."
The next afternoon shines bright and early as both Cedric and Sira, along with Hugo and Sofia were busy getting ready for their picnic dates.
"I am so excited, nothing like the fresh air and sun, eating good food with the man of my dreams." Sira said smiling knowingly at Cedric, who was blushing, but still smiling as well.
Meanwhile Amber was sitting in her room, brushing her hair, a look of dissatisfaction on her face 'Why did i kissing Desmond feel...so...nice, I never once gave him the time of day, why now, is it possible...that I-NO!' She thought angrily throwing her brush down in a huff and started to sing.

By the end she is staring at her reflection an mix of emotions flashing in her eyes as she pushed away from her vanity and went to go finish getting ready.
Later that day finds Cedric and Sira walking down a little known path in castle's grounds, where they found a place to set up for their date, unaware that Hugo and Sofia were already there having their own picnic date while staying out of sight and way of the adults.
For the most part both dates were going smoothly until Amber came up the path with a panting Desmond following her, carrying a large picnic basket and blanket confusing both couples but decided to just keep an eye on them just to be safe.
Then Amber stops and tells Desmond to set up, soon enough they were sitting next to each other eating, after they were done eating, Amber turns to Desmond saying bluntly.
"I want you to kiss me."
That caused Desmond to nearly choke as he coughs.
"I - I like you Amber I really do, but I want to take it slow, just take day by day."
Amber sighs annoyed at the nervous boy, "Fine." but she also felt a sense of relief as she started to sing.

By the end Amber and Desmond were smiling at each other, only to be startle by Cedric, Sira, Hugo and Sofia clapping and cheering for them.
"That was amazing!" Sira praised as Cedric nods in agreement.
"You guys should sing a duet at the Song Bar sometime." Hugo suggest.
"Yes I agree." Desmond said surprising everyone with his willingness to do it as he turns to Amber nervously.
"I'll do it." Amber states causing Desmond to smile in relief as everyone cleaned up and all walked back home to the castle.
