Chapter 8: 'On the Train to Lilith'
"Wow," Sky said, shocked inside the train car.
"It certainly is awe-inspiring, isn't it? It's already been like one hour since the train started moving and we went through the dimensional barrier and we're now in the Underworld proper. We'll first stop by my family's castle since we just entered Sitri territory." Sona replied before kissing Sky's neck.
"Hopefully it's a long hike, remember? I always walked around the Wasteland instead of anything." Sky said.
"Knowing Sona-kaichou's parents, they'll probably have a carriage waiting so that they greet us and extend a formal welcome to the Underworld to you before taking the carriage to home. It's something that happens to their newest members of the Sitri clan, regardless of if you're a regular servant, a Reincarnated Devil, or even the lover of a Sitri. They greet you and make you walk to the main Sitri residence. I had to endure this after I became her Queen and so has everyone else in her peerage except for Saji and Ruruko." Tsubaki spoke.
"Makes sense." Sky said, leaning back with Sona and taking a nap while waiting.
An hour later the train arrived at their destination.
The small station was largely empty, but a horse-drawn carriage was indeed waiting. Sona's parents were inside it and her father Sirius said formally, "Welcome to the Underworld! You along with our girl's newest servants have to undertake the Long Walk as per the traditions."
Before anyone could say anything Sky woke up with Sona on his chest sleeping. "Don't wake her." Sky whispered then picked her up.
The neighing of several horses was heard and the carriage took off, immediately making Sona mumble incoherently before settling back down to sleep in Sky's arms.
A large drop of sweat then formed on Saji's head, prompting him to think, 'Holy crap, that was scary! Those horses could have woken her up outright!'
After walking a bit to the Sitri mansion Saji and Ruruko were getting a bit tired but not Sky. "Why...must this be a long...walk?" Saji complained.
"Do you wish it was the Wasteland with Beasts, Raiders?" Sky was annoyed by him the third time he complained about the walk.
Saji was about to reply, but then a gust of wind swept by and blew up the skirts of the female members of Sona's peerage, causing them to let out an "Eep!" of surprise on instinct while Saji's face turned completely red from embarrassment at seeing their panties. He then slapped himself and muttered, "You dolt! Why did you not look away!?"
"W-Wha? What happened?" Sona asked, waking up and noticing She's in Sky's arms smiling at her.
"Sorry about waking you up just now, kaichou. Some wind blew by and flipped our skirts up. I guess that our collective 'Eep' ing woke you." Tomoe sheepishly answered.
"It is okay and Sky, why are you carrying me?" Sona asked while blushing.
"Well you were still asleep on the cart on top of me so I decided to carry you." Sky said, kissing her head.
"Thanks, my boyfriend." Sona teased.
After what seemed like hours of walking (to Saji and Ruruko) they arrived at the mansion. "Okay this is better than any mansion I've seen." Sky said.
At the gates was Sona's mother, who was smiling and replied, "Your words are a great kindness, Sky."
"Of course lady Sitri." Sky bows in respect.
Ruruko and Saji both bowed in respect too along with the rest of Sona's peerage.
Sona leads Sky to his room. "Alright see you in an hour Hon." Sky said.
"Okay then... in any case, Serafall's room has so many spells guarding the ways into it that unless you have extensive knowledge of barrier magic, you'll take at least an hour to break through all the defenses." Sona replied.
"Alright." Sky said. After Sona leaves Sky gets his bag out and gets an attire for dinner.
"Hope they like this outfit. Mostly Sona." Sky said to himself.
Meanwhile at an unknown location, Kuroka and Le Fay were both watching Underworld television.
"Today we will be interviewing the Return of the Gremory peerage from a new world." A female reporter said.
Kuroka perked up as did Vali while Bikou merely snorted before he resumed his meditation.
"Rias Gremory, where have you and your peerage been for these past months." A male reporter said.
"For a long time, we were in a location known as the Commonwealth by its inhabitants." Rias dryly replied
"And who are these inhabitants, Miss Gremory?" A female reporter asked.
"Many of them were ordinary humans or machines, but we ran into the last of the Akashiya family there." Ravel's voice could be heard before she pushed her way into view. She then said, "Sorry for being late, just had to spend a bit of time with family before I could get here."
"Well, that explains why Ravel wasn't walking with us. She must have teleported home while we were distracted by that carriage taking off." Saji said while watching the interview with Sky, Sona, the rest of her peerage, and her parents.
"Well at least they ain't asking abou-" Sirus was interrupted.
"THE AKASHIYAS ARE ALIVE?!" A Male reporter asked.
"Speak of the devil." Saji groaned out.
"Literally" Sky said.
"Yes, but only one is Alive but he will be at the Youth Devils assembly." Issei said.
Vali growled from hearing Issei speak.
"What of the Only Akashiya?" Another Male reporter asked.
Akeno then answered, "His whereabouts are currently locked under a Non-Disclosure Agreement. That is the only thing that we can say until he appears at the Youth Devils assembly."
"Y-Yea, he's so powerful h-he makes the white dragon emperor look l-like joke." Gasper said hiding behind Issei.
Vali growled again, prompting Le Fay to state, "Someone's in a grumpy mood today."
"Thinking he's more powerful, I hold Albion and he holds Ddraig's sister apparently." Vali stated.
"You need to chill. We should try to avoid him for now since due to being an Akashiya, Sky is essentially on the same level as Belzard, who killed two of Albion's previous wielders." Kuroka spoke.
"Well I better train and get stronger then those pathetic excuses of Hosts." Vali said.
"Vali you're pretty much mad that Sky hit you that hard." Bikou said.
Vali groaned and then said, "Then again, I also didn't expect him to be that strong either, so I'm not really 'mad' but just really FUCKING furious!"
Back with Sona and Sky.
"SKY! Stop that tickles!" Sona said laughing. "What can't my Raven Queen be tickled?" Sky said, smiling.
'And here I thought His Parents were like this.' Dragia said to herself.
Saji wasn't even paying attention to them or to the TV due to Ruruko having straddled him and was engaged in a particularly long kiss with him on their lips.
"Sky we need to get Ready for the Youth Devils Assembly." Sona said.
"OH SHIT!" Sky yelled, running to his room to get ready.
"Um, isn't it supposed to be tomorrow?" Tomoe asked.
"Well he doesn't know but I just want him to get to his room." Sona said, getting up. "Now if you need me I'll be cuddling my King." Sona then walks to Sky's room.
Sky was caught off guard and only in his underwear when she entered. He blushed and asked, "Um, what brings you to my room, love?"
Sona then proceeds to lock the door and undoes her dress revealing nothing on.
"Oh Shit." Sky said.
The next day.
The knocking on the door was the first thing that both Sky and Sona heard before Reya's voice could be heard saying, "Your presence is required for breakfast."
"Is it alright if we take a shower first?" Sky asked.
"Of course Lord Sky." Reya said.
"Just Sky will do for now." Sky stated before he went to shower.
Thirty minutes later Sky was at a table with Sona next to him eating breakfast.
"Man, this is delicious." Sky said.
"Thank you. Normally servants cook the food, but I made this breakfast myself." Sona's mother stated.
"Now, what's important for me and Sky to get out of bed mother?" Sona asked eating some eggs.
"Well, the Youth Devil assembly is today in a few hours. You'll be taking a carriage there and it's spread over the entire month. The first day is not really a formal thing either, so your school uniforms should be good enough for it."
"Pray to the ma-OW!" Sky yelled in pain holding his head. "Keep forgetting I'm a devil." Sky said making Sona giggle.
"That's gonna be a habit that you're probably better off breaking in the long run unless you plan to go back to the Commonwealth." Ruruko stated.
"Agree." Sky said.
A few hours later in a carriage.
Sona noticed the building get closer and closer before she then said, "We're almost at the hall where the initial meeting for the Youth Devil assembly will take place."
"Well, let's have fun eh?" Sky said.
Everyone got out of the carriage and went into the building. From there, they went into an elevator that went up before stopping at the floor where the initial event would take place. Issei was talking with a young man with short black hair who looked like a professional wrestler while Asia clung close to the brown-haired young man.
"Hey Sona, I'm gonna give Issei and Asia a scare." Sky said going to them.
Before Sky could get close enough, a woman with blonde hair wearing a red suit grabbed his hand said, "I wouldn't do that if I were you. Sairaorg already had to intervene when Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas tried to sexually harass Seekvaira Agares. He took out Zephyrdor with only one punch, so take note of what you will from that. As for me, I am Coriana Andrealphus, one of Sairaorg's Bishops."
"What the hell, and who the hell are you saying I can't scare my friends?" Sky asked.
A tapping was felt on Sky's shoulder, and he slowly turned to see a head of blonde hair with blue tips wearing a mask that depicted a human skull.
"Oh what the Fu-" before Ravel appears and he stops himself to greet her. "Oh hello my Fire Queen." Making her blush.
"Hello Sky." Ravel said, still blushing.
The blonde-haired head back away and then Rias came up to Sky and said, "Please don't scare my servants, Sky. Even if things are not super formal right now, we do need to conduct ourselves in a proper manner here."
"Who was that person with the mask anyway?" Sona asked.
"That is the replacement heir of the Astaroth Clan. She's decided to not reveal her identity just yet, but everyone at least knows her gender given how she wears a noblewoman's dress. There is one more youth Devil coming here to make it 8, but I have no idea where she is." Akeno answered.
"What happened to the Original Heir?" Sky asked.
"Apparently, he died while we were in the Commonwealth. His name was Diodora Astaroth and he had been murdered by a Stray Devil." Rias answered.
"Weird name and probably deserved it." Sky said.
"Well, Well, who's this?" Someone asked coming to the Group.
Rias turned to see blonde hair wearing glasses and a robe that exposed little skin. There were subtle traces of make up present on her face.
"Sky, that is Seekvaira Agares, the heiress of the Agares Clan and an Archduke." Ravel stated.
"A pleasure Miss." Sky said.
"So Gremory, who's this handsome young man?" Seekvaira asked, licking her lips.
"That is Sky Akashiya, the last of the Akashiya family." Rias answered.
"I see. Given the rings that he is wearing, I can safely assume that he is already taken." Seekvaira spoke.
"That is currently ma'am, I'm engaged to the Beautiful Queens of Sona Sitri and Ravel Phenex." Sky said, making both Sona and Ravel hold his arms.
"I think you meant maidens there, Sky. Tsubaki is my Queen and Ravel doesn't have any servants yet." Sona stated.
"You know what I mean your queen to me." Sky said, chuckling , kissing her cheek.
"He's right, you know." Ravel hugged him.
"Don't test her, bro." a man with a rocky face wearing no shirt stated.
"Who are you?" Ravel asked.
"Gandoma Balam." the man stated.
"And why are you wearing no shirt?" Sky asked. as he and Issei cover Ravel's and Asia's eyes.
"That's not cool dude." Issei said.
"To be fair on Gandoma, a proper shirt would not fit him. His rocky exterior would make any shirt look improper on him, leaving the fact that he's my first Rook to one side." Sairaorg said.
"Oooooookay, and who are you good sir?" Sky asked.
"Sky this is Sairaorg my cousin and..." Rias was interrupted by Sairaorg.
"Yes yes, I am the heir to the Bael clan. I however cannot use my clan trait, the Power of Destruction, so I am seen as 'defective' in the eyes of most Devil nobles." Sairaorg continued.
"Sky here can probably kick your ass witho-" Kiba tried to say before Issei and Sky held his mouth.
"What was that Knight?" Sairaorg asked.
"He was running his mouth off about me defeating you easily." Sky answered.
"Oh? Wanna test that?" Sairaorg challenged.
"No." Sky answered bluntly.
"Yeah, it's probably for the best that we don't test that. The organizers set this hall up so that we can air out any grievances or hot air before the event truly starts. Zephyrdor had been pushing it when he tried to sexually harass Seekvaira, which is why I stepped in and took him out." Sairaorg stated.
"I hate those types especially back home." Sky said, making the others agree.
"Sadly, you'll be meeting more than a few of those types amongst the older generation of Devils." Sairaorg replied with a sigh.
"That is quite true." a feminine voice called out. Everyone turned to see yet another blonde, but wearing a short red dress and an emerald green necklace. She then said, "I am Roselein Phenex, the heiress to a branch family of the Phenex Clan."
"Hello Roselein." Ravel said.
"Ravel." Roselein said.
"I can tell this is gonna be bad." Sky said.
"Not really. I know that he's taken judging by the rings he is wearing, but would I be correct in guessing that you and the Sitri girl are his lovers, Ravel?" Roselein guessed.
"That's correct ma'am." Sky said.
"Wait, why did you ask him that?" Sona asked, concerned.
"I had my suspicions, but the answers confirmed it. However, the main event will be starting in about 45 minutes. Ladies such as myself, we really should reapply our makeup so that it doesn't make us look bad." Roselein said before leaving the hall, being joined by several other female Devils but not by anyone from the peerages of Rias and Sona.
"Okay... am I just a weirdness magnet?" Issei asked.
"No." Sky said.
"You probably are, Issei-kun. I mean, one of your clients was Mil-tan of all people and then there was that first successful request you did where the Samurai girl Susan tied a love letter to an arrow she fired at the boy she liked." Akeno stated.
45 minutes later Sky was sitting down drinking some water while the event was starting. "I was what this will be about?" Sky asked.
Sirzechs was standing there along with Serafall, Ajuka, and Falbium. It was obvious that Serafall was not in her magical girl costume.
Nearby on the same level was the blonde-haired Astaroth girl, who was also seated but no longer wearing the skull mask.
Ajuka then stated, "Rias Gremory, Sona Sitri, Seekvaira Agares, Latia Astaroth, Roselein Phenex, Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas, Sairaorg Bael, and finally Sky Akashiya... these eight names are the Youth Devils that shine amongst your peers."
"Don't know what that means but I'll still pay attention." Sky said still sitting down.
"Don't worry Sky." Sona said making him smile.
"It means that we are the strongest Devils of our generation." Rias whispered.
Sirzechs then said, "In recognition of this, a special Rating Game tournament will take place over the course of the next three months where you eight will compete against each other. The first round of matches has already been decided: Rias Gremory vs Sona Sitri, Sairaorg Bael vs Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas, Seekvaira Agares vs Latia Astaroth, and finally Sky Akashiya vs Roselein Phenex. There will be three weeks that all of you can spend to train before the first round of matches begin."
"Oh shit...maybe I can go one one 16 since I don't have a peerage..." Sky said.
"That's right he needs his evil pieces." Ravel said.
"Maybe they can make a exception?" Issei asked.
"Roselein also doesn't have Evil Pieces yet, so that may be why Sky is set to face off against her in the first round: to have a match where it's just two Kings battling it out." Rias hypothesized.
"Well when does training start?" Sky asked.
"Tomorrow." Everyone of the group said.
The next day Sky was training with Issei and Saji with their sacred gears along with Sky's.
"DEVID! BOOST!" Dragia said.
Sky the. Proceeds to punch Issei before Saji.
"Damn that's more powerful then Draig or Albion." Issei stated.
"No kidding. Then again, after today, all three of us plus Asia are gonna be training under Tannin's watchful gaze." Saji replied.
"Hey Issei! Asia's showing you something important!" Sky yelled.
"IS IT HER BEAUTIFUL AMZING FACE!" Issei looks behind him before Sky grabbed his ankles and threw him into saji.
"You truly do love her don't you Hyoudou?" Sky said making Issei give him the finger.
Before Issei could reply, Asia arrived and said, "Sky, don't be so mean to my Issei-kun!" as she gave him the double deuce.
"What? It's an excuse to get closer to your boyfriend." Sky said.
"Still I could've broken something." Issei said.
"Like Asia's heart?" Sky stated smirking.
"No, a bone in my body, although that's probably going to happen a lot to all four of us while training with Tannin." Issei spoke.

After training.
"Why must he be cruel!" Saji cried.
"I don't know what your talking about I think that was great." Sky said.
"You obviously are a lot stronger, but Tannin was no joke. There were a couple of times where Tannin's meteors would have outright incinerated you if you weren't lucky." Asia spoke as Issei held her in his arms.
'He is right Sky, but I am glad that to have you as a host and while Hyoudou has my brother.' Dragia said making him chuckle while Ddraig laughs at that comment.
"Don't laugh, Ddraig. I was almost incinerated just as many times as Sky was." Issei remarked.
Sona arrives. "Alright Sky I came here to..." Sona tries to say but stop at the site of his body without his shirt and was blushing extremely red.
"Oh right. Today is the day of the first round. Well, it looks like Saji and I will be facing off against one another soon." Issei said before he and Asia left on Tannin's back while Saji teleported away.
"Well Sona it's just you and me and guess I'm going against Roselein soon." Sky said, turning to her. "Sona?"
Sona was still blushing, but somewhat recovered and asked, "Yes, dear?"
"Shall we go so I may get ready?" Sky asked.
"Yes." She replied.
Meanwhile with Issei and Akeno.
"So how do you like your necklace babe?" The brown-haired boy asked.
"It's a very pretty one, my boyfriend." Akeno flirted back.
He smiles and Rias comes up to him and akeno with an expression that worries them both.
"Rias? What's wrong?" Issei asked in concern.
"Issei...im...Pregnant..." Rias said with a smile.
FLASHBACK
'Issei...I love him so much...' Rias thought then had an urge to go to the bathroom.
She threw up in the toilet.
"That's strange, I don't feel sick...unless." Rias said, then got a pregnancy test.
The first test was positive. Rias then said, "Wait a minute... It's well-known that Devils have low fertility... did the Wasteland make me and by extension Sona, Riser, and Ravel more fertile?" before using the pregnancy test again in the hopes that a false positive had cropped up
There was a knock on the door. "Rias-chan are you ok?" Someone asked but Rias ignored them and when the test came a positive, she widened her eyes and realized the only person she had sex with was Her Issei.
"I can't believe it..." she said.
"Asia..." Rias said, tearing up happily. "I'm pregnant...with Issei's child."
END FLASHBACK
"Oooooooooooookkkkkkaaayyyyyyyyyyy... wait, is Asia also-" Issei began but was interrupted by Rias answering, "Yes... she's pregnant too."
Issei hugged both Akeno and Rias and tears up. "I'm so happy." Issei said, tearing up before crying more happily.
"It's a double-edged situation that Koneko did not get pregnant, but at her current age she would die if she has kids." Akeno spoke.
"I'm going to wait for her, I don't want to hurt her. I love her like I love you all." Issei said.
"Thanks, Issei-kun." Both Akeno and Rias replied in unison as they each kissed a cheek.
Holy moly Isseis going to be a dad?! well, Congrats to The Red Dragon Emperor. Stay to for the Battle Between Dragon and Bird. Till next time.
