Author's Notes
This story took inspiration from several fairy tales I have heard about on YouTube. In this story, which is a Fire Emblem x Seven Deadly Sins crossover event, half of the Greil Mercenaries are tasked with saving a talking golden violin and a golden swan from captivity in Britannia. Villains from both Fire Emblem and The Seven Deadly Sins will be included in the story, such as the Holy Knights from The Seven Deadly Sins, the Four Riders from Fire Emblem, and of course, Ashnard, who will serve as the main antagonist of this grand story, But as for Fire Emblem's side of this story, Path of Radiance, the ninth game in the series, will be the main focus.
There are other OCs in this story too, including a talking harp that guards the fiddle, which is just another word for a violin. And, none of the characters are mine.
Enjoy the story!

A Fire Emblem X Seven Deadly Sins Story

Chapter 1
One day in the Crimean countryside in Tellius, Ike, a 17-year-old mercenary, and his sister Mist, a 15-year-old cleric, who were the children of a mercenary commander named Greil, were eating dinner all by themselves while Greil went out on a mission in Gallia. However, the siblings heard the sound of a screeching hawk. On the possibility that it could have been a hawk laguz from the laguz nation of Phoenicis, Ike went to see exactly what it was. And he was right. It was in fact a hawk laguz. A female hawk laguz. Something that Ike had not seen before.
"You're… you're a woman…" Ike said.
"Tee hee!" the hawk laguz girl laughed. "Of course I am! I came here to tell you of something, though… by the orders of King Tibarn, king of Phoenicis and all of the laguz hawks." Ike wondered what the hawk laguz woman had to tell him. When she pulled out a small storybook, Ike wondered what the book was about. Then, Tibarn, the Hawk King of Phoenicis, flew down to Ike after seeing him and decided to speak with him about what was going on in the story.
"So the story… is news?" Ike asked. "About a golden swan and a golden violin?"
"Yes." Tibarn responded. "You see, stories of this golden swan and the golden fiddle remain a fine piece of treasure of this fantastic world. However, they were taken away by a monstrous creature and the Mad King. Ashnard, that is!"
"Where were they taken too?" Ike asked.
"They were taken to the land of Britannia." the female hawk laguz answered. Ike then said that he had never heard of the location before. He then asked if he can take the book back to the Greil Mercenaries, his faction.
"It would best be safe rather than sorry, Ike." Tibarn said. "But you know what, I think it's better safe than sorry for me, too. Let me come with you too."
"OK." Ike said. "Besides, Tibarn, let me speak with you." And so, Tibarn later told the female hawk laguz to go back to the hawk laguz nation of Phoenicis. He later walked with Ike, and that was when questions started to fill up Tibarn's mind.
"Who was that?" Ike asked. "Your mate?"
"No, Ike." Tibarn answered. "She… is my servant. Her name is Talaga."
"Talaga?" Ike asked. "But Tibarn, I thought that–" he later said before he was interrupted by Tibarn.
"I can explain." Tibarn said back to Ike after shushing him. "She was kidnapped in Britannia, too. So, as a result, when we mentioned Britannia, we knew about the place."
"I don't understand…" Ike said. Tibarn laughed it off, saying that Ike will soon understand. Then, the sound of a horse was heard. Greil returned.
"Father!" Ike shouted. "I have a question to ask you."
Once Greil dismounted from his white horse Rose, he led her over to Ike so that she was not left behind. He then asked Ike what his question was.
"What's Britannia?" Ike asked. "Ever hear of that location before?"
"Nope." Greil said. "Never heard of it until you brought it up, son." He later asked why he would ask of such a place Tibarn later pulled Greil aside and explained everything to him.
"A swan that's pure gold needs help as well as a talking fiddle?" Greil asked. "What kind of world do we live in?"
"A world where almost anything can happen, of course." Tibarn said. "And even worse, whoever kidnapped the swan is going to kill it for food. If that swan is dead, then things will never be the same again." Ike then asked his father if they should go to Britannia to help the swan and fiddle.
"...I guess I should gather half the mercenaries up." Greil said. "Get inside, Ike."
"Yes, sir." Ike answered back to his father with the deepest respect. Ike and Greil then went inside while Tibarn waited outside the stables.
"Do you… uh… want anything, Tibarn?" Greil asked.
"Well… you could spare me with water." Tibarn said. "And extra raw meat for my fellow hawks. Janaff said he has been starving for hours."
"Well, come on in, then!" Greil said excitedly.
Meanwhile with Titania, the beautiful braided red-haired deputy commander of the Greil Mercenaries, she was with the three green-haired brothers: Oscar, Boyd, and Rolf. Together, they were concerned about Ike not returning to his dinner. However, Mist, Ike's little sister, finished it for him.
"You ate your brother's spicy steak, Mist?!" Rolf asked in shock. "That was spicy!"
"Spicy?" Mist asked Rolf. "SPICY?!" Once Mist found out about the large amounts of spice used in Ike's steak, she immediately went to get water. Ike later walked in with Greil and Tibarn.
"Did Mist eat my food?" Ike asked. Everyone in the dinner hall nodded yes. Ike then walked over to Mist.
"You have got to start putting a little bit of spice in your food from now on, Brother." Mist said.
"Your sister does have a point, Ike." Greil said. "After all, too much of that spice can ruin your stomach."
"Ugh… fine, Father. But note that I like it the way I like it. …Still…" Ike said in pain. Greil then ordered Titania to gather everyone together without any questions to be asked. She later went to all parts of the fort to find everybody.
"What is it, Greil?" the blue-haired myrmidon Mia asked.
"Is this about pirates?" the priest Rhys asked. "Bandits? Because I am just too frail."
"No." Greil said. "But this has something similar to that, Rhys. But it's not bandits or pirates. We are on a mission."
"A mission?" the blue-armored knight Gatrie asked. "A mission to rescue cute country girls from fearsome dragons? Hah!"
"Excuse me, Gatrie," Greil spoke, "This is more serious business than rescuing girls of your type. And besides, we are not rescuing girls. We are rescuing a swan. A golden swan. And also a golden fiddle. And this is taking place in an outside location."
"What?" the maroon-haired sniper Shinon asked Greil. "No pretty little girls to rescue for poor Gatrie? Aww…"
"Shinon!" Greil shouted. "Enough of this nonsense now! We must go to the land of Britannia, and rescue these two golden talking treasures from this monster!" he later exclaimed. "And I must choose five other people. I am leading the way. Ike, Mist, you two must come. As I always said, we are family. If you don't want to cause your family any grief, then live."
"That's right, Father." Ike said. "You always said that to our company." Greil smiled and laughed.
"Titania, you're with me too." Greil said to Titania.
"I'll do my best, Commander Greil, sir." Titania said. "SO, how many people do we need now?" she later asked.
"Well, it's me, Ike, Mist, and you so far, Titania." Greil spoke. "So, we need two more people, excluding Tibarn, since he's not a member of the Greil Mercenaries. However, he is still coming with us since he was the first to bring this whole situation up."
"Actually, it was my female servant that brought it up first, Greil." Tibarn said.
"Whatever, Tibarn." Greil said. Greil was then thinking about who to take as the last two people.
"Are you going to take me and Shinon, Commander?" Gatrie asked.
"Well…" Greil said. "...I guess it could not hurt."
"Great. Outsiders. I'm dealing with outsiders." Shinon said. Greil then told Shinon to lose the attitude.
"He's probably drunk, Greil." Titania whispered in Greil's ear.
"You think so?" Greil asked. "I've never seen him like this in ages."
"So, when are we leaving?" Ike asked. "And what's the plan for traveling?" Greil explained everything, from Tibarn leaving off for Britannia first to the six chosen members of the Greil Mercenaries catching a boat to the faraway realm. But first, everyone had to pack plenty of food and plenty of water. And, they had to go to the marketplaces in select villages to buy some more things that the group lacked, like cooked chicken, dried biscuits, and other meats. Once all of that was complete, the adventure was just about to begin.
Meanwhile in Britannia, specifically in the Kingdom of Camelot, where the golden swan and the talking golden fiddle were being kept, the swan was singing a sad song. But the swan could not talk. She could only communicate by magical and musical communication. But the golden violin could form full worded sentences while making music at the same time. Then, Ashnard, the Mad King of Daein and Daein's 13th King from Tellius, came into the golden swan and golden fiddle's prison with three members of the elite Four Riders, which were the highest ranking members of Daein's army back in Tellius. However, they were accompanied by Hendrickson and Gilthunder as well as Pellegarde, the Black Knight of Camelot.
"Oh, no… a trifle it is, indeed…" said the golden fiddle in distress.
"Apparently, I am enjoying the swan's beautiful music." the dark-green-haired paladin Petrine said. "It'll just make a grand souvenir for me!"
"Quit it, Petrine!" Ashnard said. "We are going to kill the swan, not keep it! Its music is useless for this world!" This upset the swan, and worried the fiddle.
"Well, I like the swan's beautiful communication. And I don't wanna hear another word out of you, Ashnard."
"Boo-hoo, fiddle!" Bryce said. "That swan will die by the lance known as Wishblade! And besides, I was one of the original Four Riders of Daein, so I still am the strongest rider of the Legendary Four Riders!"
"Bryce, don't make everyone jealous because of your strength." said Hendrickson to Bryce.
"Ugh…" Bryce said in agony. "Fine."
"Weeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee!" Ashnard laughed as it echoed throughout Britannia. Suddenly, a hawk screeched in the distance from the sky. It was in fact the Hawk King Tibarn from Phoenicis of the Tellius continent, judging by how large the hawk was and the colors of the transformed hawk laguz.
"Fiddlesticks… filthy, dirty sub-humans." Petrine said. As Petrine mounted her ash-black horse, she decided it would be best to hunt Tibarn down. When she cantered off into the forest, she went to find out where Tibarn was. Then, she found him accompanied with Janaff, the "eyes" of the great kingdom of Phoenicis.
"Hmph." Petrine said in jealousy. "Filthy, dirty, sub-humans. Always trying to invade our plans."
"You haven't permission to be here in Britannia, Petrine!" Tibarn said.
"What the hell do you sub-humans think you are talking about?!" asked Petrine to Tibarn. "This is the Kingdom of Camelot! I even went as far as to exile King Arthur himself! And my next order is to exile the princess of Liones."
"You exiled Arthur Pendragon?!" Tibarn asked in shock. "And now you are planning to exile the princess of the Kingdom of Liones?!"
"I already exiled their king, and he's to never return to his kingdom until Ashnard is defeated." Petrine said.
"You bitch! And besides, you are just a racist freak!" Tibarn said loudly. "Now go! Out! Never return! And we will get Arthur Pendragon back to this kingdom! And also, you will be busted. I've already hired some people to come and defeat you and Ashnard's army!" he later exclaimed.
From behind a bush, the Sin Meliodas, the Dragon's Sin of Wrath, and his pet pig Hawk were watching everything unfold. Both were puzzled about what was going on with Tibarn and Janaff.
"Huh…" Meliodas thought. "They look like outsiders…"
"You think they are helping us get those people out of Britannia, Meliodas?" Hawk asked.
"Don't know, to be quite honest." Meliodas said. They both turned around. However, Tibarn and Janaff caught them both before they were able to leave for home.
"Excuse me, but you are outsiders." Meliodas said. Tibarn explained that they were not on the side of Ashnard and that they were on the side of someone else's army who was coming to help.
"Wow… really?" Hawk asked. "Someone is coming to help?" Tibarn responded with a nod, and introduced himself and Janaff, his eyes.
"Pleasure to meet you, Tibarn." Meliodas said.
"Are both of you out here all alone by yourselves?"
"No." Hawk said. "Ban's with us too. You probably don't even know who on earth he is."
"No." Tibarn and Janaff said to Hawk. Meliodas explained to Tibarn and Janaff about the group known as the Seven Deadly Sins.
"Wow… sounds interesting…" Janaff said. "Where are the other Sins at?"
"Ob, that's something I cannot answer." Meliodas said.
"Damn…" Tibarn said.
As the two continued talking, they decided to walk down a path. However, another hawk was screeching from the sky. However, this hawk was not Tibarn's servant, Talaga. It was Ulki, the ears of the Hawk King.
"Behold, King Tibarn." Ulki said to Tibarn and Janaff. "Commander Greil of the Greil Mercenaries has arrived in Britannia."
"Who is Greil?" Meliodas asked.
"No time to explain, Meliodas." Tibarn said. "Come on, everyone!" And so, everyone went off to see Greil, his children, the deputy commander Titania, and Shinon and Gatrie. It was just about the time for Greil and his company to meet the inhabitants of Britannia and find out what strategy to use to rescue the golden swan and the golden fiddle.
