Chapter 4
While the Greil Mercenaries and their friends were heading off to their destination of the Kingdom of Camelot, they passed by a castle. However, thinking it was abandoned, they just straight up ignored it. But, it was really a temporary hideout for three Goldoan Dragon Laguz. Residing in the castle was Dheginsea, the king of the Goldoan dragon tribe laguz, Kurthnaga, the king's son and prince of the laguz dragons, and Gareth, a right-hand man to the prince. However, while Dheginsea was working for the Mad King Ashnard, Kurthnaga and Gareth were supposed to be against the king in their own standards. However, while Gareth could not escape from the king's wrath and command, Kurthnaga knew he had to seek help. So, when Dragon King was not looking, Gareth told Kurthnaga a secret. "Run away, and I will find you." Gareth told Kurthnaga. Kurthnaga then ran away to seek help in getting his father, the King, to stop working for evil. Then, a dragon roared. It was Ashnard atop what looked like a black wyvern. However, that "wyvern" was actually a feral black dragon laguz. In fact, it was the prince of Goldoa and Kurthnaga's brother, Rajaion.
"Ok, Dheginsea, King of Goldoan Dragon Laguz." Ashnard said. "Gather up your troops."
"Yes, King Ashnard." the king of the dragon tribe laguz said. He later gathered up all of his men and marched forth to follow Ashnard.
"Now, my army will be unstoppable with the sides of the dragon laguz! Ahahahahahaha!" Ashnard said as he later laughed in an evil manner.
Greil, his mercenaries, the Seven Deadly Sins, and all their allies stopped at a resting position. Arthur was still wondering if he would get his kingdom back.
"Don't worry, Arthur." Merlin said. "I bet we can get your kingdom back sooner or later."
"Yeah." Greil said. "We'll just need help from others."
"But Father," Ike spoke, "there is no one else around here we can get help from!" Then, a roar of a tiger was later heard. Then, another tiger's roar was heard.
"What was that?!" Ban asked.
"A tiger's roar, I presume." Ranulf said. "But are they feral ones? That's the question on everyone's mind." Greil then asked Ranulf to investigate. Then, without warning, there were tigers. But they were not feral. They were actually Ranulf's tiger soldiers.
"Ranulf!" shouted a tiger laguz after he turned back into his human state. "We need your help!" After Ranulf asked what happened, the tigers explained everything. It was something about Ashnard and an army of dragon laguz.
"Ouch…" Greil said.
"Now THAT was something we definitely heard." Ike said.
"Great!" Meliodas said. "Now this is even more trouble we are dragged into!"
"And this is making our adventure more difficult too!" Tibarn said. "Oh, what has gotten into me…"
"Well, I guess this was all your fault, Tibarn." Greil said to the hawk king of Phoenicis.
"Just shut up! Talaga probably should have kept her mouth shut." Tibarn said to Greil. "Why would women even exist in this world anyways…"
"So now you are going to stereotype women, Tibarn?" Ike asked. "Yeah, right. Like someone is going to listen to that bullcrap."
"Yeah. Face it, Hawk King." Naesala said. "Let's just go." Naesala later said to everyone. As everyone left, Tibarn got angry. He decided to catch up with the group and explain everything by himself. That was when everyone decided to understand. An apology to Tibarn was later made.
"It wasn't anyone's fault, really…" Tibarn said. "And I'm sorry for stereotyping women." he later apologized.
"It's okay." Greil said. "Mist wasn't really offended, She knows how she is as a woman."
"Hey!" Mist hollered after she heard her father. Everyone decided to continue the adventure.
Meanwhile with Ashnard, he gathered up all of the soldiers, whether they were the human beorc, the shapeshifting laguz, feral ones, or just plain outsiders. Then, Dheginsea, king of the dragons, noticed that his son Kuthnaga was missing. He decided to excuse himself so that he could find him.
"At once, Dheginsea." King Ashnard said. He later asked Pellegarde about what he thought of the dragon laguz on their side.
"Seriously, King Ashnard, I think that having the dragon tribe laguz of your world on our side is the most brilliant thing ever!" Pellegarde said. "Don't you think so, Hendrickson?"
"Never heard of the dragon laguz myself, but hey. I can relate to this going on." Hendrickson said.
"And when we have the dragon laguz in their dragon states, then our army will be unstoppable!" Ashnard said. "There is no way that those stupid Seven Deadly Sins will defeat us now!" Then, Petrine returned. She told Ashnard that someone was coming to rescue the golden swan and the golden fiddle.
"So someone is coming to rescue me?" the golden fiddle asked. "At last! At last!"
"SHUT UP IN THERE!" Ashnard said. "Petrine, get that fiddle and swan out of here. And make sure they are locked up for good."
"Yes, King Ashnard." Petrine said. She then took the cage that the golden swan was in and the talking golden fiddle and locked them in a cupboard.
"That fiddle and swan had very bad ranging up." the talking harp said.
"I guess so." Hendrickson said to the harp. "Besides, they are just plain up annoying…"
"I'm getting something to eat, I am starving to death in here." Gilthunder said. He then went to get something to eat. However, he took the harp with him.
"Where are you taking that harp, Gilthunder?" asked Ashnard. "That is a piece of treasure, and no one is to touch my possessions unless it is something important."
"I'm taking it to the cupboard where the swan and fiddle are." Gilthunder said. "That way, the swan and fiddle are protected from the villains of us."
"Oooh… Good idea." Ashnard said. "And besides, there may be something we may or may not know about." Ashnard said. "Weeheeeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee!" he later laughed. Now, it was unclear on how Greil and his allies were going to rescue the golden swan and the golden fiddle while dealing with a bunch of enemies. However, the adventure had to continue on for the Greil Mercenaries, the Seven Deadly Sins, and all their allies.
