Chapter 6

Morning arrived. A dragon's roar was heard from the sky. When this woke up Mist and Elizabeth Liones, they ran outside of their resting place to see what it was. However, they backed away from the door at the request of Greil and Meliodas, who did not want them to get hurt. Greil then decided to check out what it was. And it was in fact a dragon.

"I've got to get help from someone…" said Greil.

"What is going on?" Meliodas asked.

"Oh, what?" Greil asked. "Just a dragon laguz."

"That's a huge dragon!" Elizabeth Liones exclaimed. "But… it just untransformed…"

"It's a laguz, then…" Greil said. "The king of the dragon tribe…" Greil then warned all of the troops both from his world and Britannia to get ready for battle.

"Is this guy serious?!" Arthur asked himself.

"There's no time, Arthur!" Gowther exclaimed.

"Quick!" Diane said. "I'll gather up some items I personally brought myself and I'll be with you guys in a moment!"

"Great, Diane!" Greil said. "Meet us at Arthur's castle! I think that's where the Golden Swan and the Golden Fiddle are!"

"OK, Sir Greil!" Diane said.

Back in Tellius, Rhys, Mia, Oscar, Boyd, and Rolf were getting worried about Greil. They haven't seen him in forever. Seeing how worried they were, Boyd decided to go to Britannia to see where exactly Greil was.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?!" Rolf asked. "All of us are supposed to stay here, brother!"

"...Sorry, Rolf… but if Greil is in trouble, then we must do our best to help him." Boyd said.

"Ugh… fine, Boyd." Rolf said. "But I seriously will not like whatever we are about to do!" he later exclaimed at his brother.

"So, what's the plan, Boyd?" Oscar asked.

"We'll go to Britannia, find Greil, and find out exactly what is going on with this… thing he was told by Tibarn." Boyd plotted out.

"I'm in it." Oscar said.

"Let's go, then." Rhys said. "But note that I cannot fight these monsters and other soldiers. I'm just too frail to fight."

"OK, Rhys." Mia said. "I already know, but I can respect that."

"Let's go, then!" Oscar said. All six of the remaining members left the mercenary fort for Britannia, home of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Back with Greil, they were still walking to the castle of Arthur Pendragon. However, when they reached their destination, they saw no one other than Bryce of the Four Riders. Greil, having been friends with Bryce when he was a member of the Four Riders for Daein's twelfth king, was very disappointed that Bryce was on the side of Ashnard. Then, one of Ashnard's Druids showed up from the castle entrance.

"Behold," the Druid said. "The Thirteenth King of Daein, Ashnard!"

Ashnard, as well as his troops, presented themselves to the heroes on Greil's side. Greil then charged front, and decided to confront Ashnard.

"You have Bryce on your side, King Ashnard?" Greil asked. "I used to serve Daein, you know."

"I know very well, Gawain." Ashnard said.

"I have thrown that name away, Ashnard." Greil said.

"Hah! You've always been quiet and mysterious, Greil." Ashnard said.

"Now, we're going to ask that you give the Kingdom of Camelot back to Arthur Pendragon, release the Golden Swan and Golden Fiddle, and leave this peaceful place, outsider of Tellius!" Meliodas said.

"Oh, and you must be one of the Seven Deadly Sins." Ashnard said. "Meliodas, it is, right?"

"Wow… he knows us well…" Diane said.

"Yeah, I noticed that, Diane." King said. Ashnard then confirmed that Britannia's Camelot Kingdom will be his forever.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT CAMELOT WILL BE YOURS FOREVER?! YOU ARE AN OUTSIDER! OUTSIDERS THAT ARE CONSIDERED EVIL TO OUR WORLD ARE NOT WELCOME!" Meliodas' pet pig Hawk shouted.

"Oh, really?" Ashnard asked. He then called for Britannia's Black Knight Pellegarde, the Black Knight and Petrine of Daein's elite Four Riders, and Hendrickson and Giltunder of the Holy Knights of Britannia.

"So, you managed to escape, Arthur Pendragon?" asked Hendrickson.

"Listen, Hendrickson, I managed to escape with the help of some outsiders from Tellius!" Arthur said. "Also, I seriously don't care whether you work for Ashnard now, or not! I, along with these people, want to see the Golden Swan and Golden Fiddle."

"Oh, about that…" Ashnard asked. "We actually have them out."

"Show them to us." Meliodas ordered. Ashnard then showed off the cage that held the swan and fiddle of gold.

"O, trifle, trifle!" the Fiddle of Gold said. "Someone has come to rescue us! Hooray, Hurrah!"

"No one has come to rescue you, now shut your strings, Fiddle of Gold!" Bryce exclaimed.

A moment of silence was heard. Then, Greil let out a battle cry saying "attack". Everyone who was beorc or human charged at Ashnard and his troops. However, a dragon's roar was later heard. It was the same dragon's roar that Greil heard early that morning. The dragon untransformed, later revealing itself as the King of Goldoa, Dheginsea. He decided to walk up to Ena, Nasir, and his son, Kurthnaga. The confrontation was not a pleasant one.

"Traitors! Very true, I see traitors of the army!" yelled Dhehinsea, King of the Dragon Tribe Laguz. "You are nothing but disgraces to the Goldoan Kingdom!"

"Stop!" Gareth the Red Dragon Laguz said as he interrupted his king's speech. "Don's do this, Your Majesty!"

"You know what, Gareth, why don't you end up joining them instead?!" the king of Goldoa asked in exclamation.

"Very well!" yelled Gareth. Gareth then stood in between the two armies, and gave out a speech, saying that everyone can live together peacefully.

"Oh, yeah, Gareth?!" a red dragon laguz said. "If you actually care about the people of two different worlds living together in peace, then who else gives a crap about it?!"

"I do!" Ike yelled.

"Oh, no…" Pellegarde said.

"Listen, people, this right here… needs to stop." Ike spoke. "We need to stop the fighting and we need to respect the fact that the Golden Swan and the Golden Fiddle have a family. And if they don't want to cause their family grief, then they need to live! That's what my father said to me before my friends and I left for here."

"Hmph." Ashnard said. "Very well… ATTACK!" he later yelled. Everyone in Ashnard's army later attacked the good guys' army. However, midway through the battle, the remaining members of the Greil Mercenaries arrived to help when they saw their commander struggling to fight Pellegarde.

"Greil, watch this!" Oscar yelled as he pulled out his SIlver Greatlance.

"What in the name of the dragon?!" Greil asked.

"Sorry, Commander. We knew you needed us; we could not keep the fort down." Oscar said.

"Yeah." Boyd said. "We like keeping you safe from these things."

"Come on, Oscar!" Greil said. "Can't you just listen to orders for once in your life?! Where is Rolf anyways?!" he later asked.

"He came too." Oscar said.

"Alright, fine! I'll go see him when this freaking fiasco is over!" Greil exclaimed. "And I will confront him and give out an extra reminder that the fort shall not be left unattended when stuff like this is going on!" Greil later left looking for Ashnard. It was unknown what the confrontation would be. Chances are that the confrontation would be a harsh one between the Mad King of Daein and a former Daein general who once served the Four Riders.

"Alright, heroes of your fellow Daein King! Smash those humans and sub-humans in their faces! And then, the Golden Swan and the Golden FIddle will be ours forever!" said Ashnard. However, Greil interrupted him.

"Well, well well, Commander Greil, or should I say, General Gawain, Rider of Daein! Ahahahahahahaha!" Ashnard said. "Please, come one, come all!"

"Excuse me?" Greil asked. "Who do you think you're talking to, you beast of Daein?!"

"Oh, getting smart with your own king, eh?!" Ashnard asked.

"I am not serving Daein anymore, Ashnard!" Greil exclaimed. "So let me tell you something right now, we dare you, and I mean we DARE you to rescue the Golden Swan and Golden Fiddle before I decapitate your head clean off!"

"You plan to decapitate me?! With Urvan, YOUR battle axe? Hah!" Ashnard said. "TRY IT DUDE! Try it!"

"Hmph." Greil said. "Let's go somewhere else and try this battle, one-on-one. You an me." he later said. Ah=shnard later wanted to meet him at the top of a Camelot castle tower, and that was where they were going to have the battle.

"Father!" exclaimed Ike. "What the hell are you doing?!"

"Having a private fight. Stay away from this before Ashnard kicks your ass, Ike. You would not want to get hurt. As much as I love you the same way your mother loved you, I DO NOT want to see you get hurt." Greil said as he reminded Ike of the dangers. As Ike agreed, he went to fight off the Feral Ones and other Holy Knights with Meliodas. The battle to exile Ashnard and the rest of the beorc and laguz baddies was about to begin.
